Great non-toxic back-up to cloth diapers.
October 26, 2020
We purchased these while our daughter was a bit too small to wear her cloth diapers. These are excellent in that they are non-irritating. Pampers and Huggies have a strong chemical smell (and they irritated my baby's skin), but these have basically no smell. I would still do cloth diapering and elimination communication (EC) over using these full-time, but these would be great for when you need a back-up on the road, etc.
Pros
- no smell
- absorbent
- If you have boys, I believe this is the only ostensibly "boy" print in this line at the time of this writing.
Best Uses
- good for occasional back-up to cloth
Cons
- Please note that these DO NOT have a wetness indicator (i.e. a yellow line that turns blue with pee) like Pampers or Huggies. You will need to feel the diaper with your hand to see if it is dirty.
- They are also a bit pricy, which is why I would recommend cloth diapering and/or elimination communication with these as a back-up.
- I did not see any evidence that these are bio-degradable, so I would recommend using disposables sparingly.
