I purchased two chairs for my 10month old (with high chair add on) and 3 year old. I love the fact that it's adjustable and is comfortable for both of them. The material is sturdy and well made, but also the chair itself is very portable. I used to have a chair with legs that angled out, so I kept tripping on that one. No such issue with this one. Hoping to get my money's worth with lots of usage out of this product over the next few years.

Great chair but initially didn’t like the mechanism to remove the tray. Getting used to it. Love it the look of It in the kitchen and the foot rest to hold them in a good position.

I’ve had my eye on this chair since before my child was born. But with all the other baby registry big-ticket items it was hard to justify the price, so we went with a cheap IKEA high chair as a short-term fix. Now that he’s two we wanted a seat that would boost him, but also allow him some autonomy around getting in and out. He absolutely loves it and we keep commenting on how we wish we’d gotten it years ago. It’s sturdy and stable, easy to clean, and most importantly my child loves it and doesn’t fight us (as much) about coming to the table. We opted to skip the baby seat attachment even though he’s a little young to be a free agent, but with his personality (and close supervision) we feel good about using it without the seatbelt now. If you’re hesitating based on price but can swing it, just do it. You’ll end up needing it later anyway, and may as well make things easier on yourself by taking the plunge from the beginning! Even at two we still have years before he can sit comfortably in a regular chair to eat, and I don’t want to spend those years cleaning food out of a booster seat.

We own the same type of chair with straps, and have been using it for over 3 years. This chair arrived in good packaging but the wood used to make the chair doesn’t seem to be the same quality . There’s slight chip in wood. Overall, I’m happy about the purchase, but wished the quality could stay the same.

When my LO was 6-months old, we had the Stokke Clikk (sp?), which I loved for her because she was small. But of late, she was eager to get up and down herself. So we bought this chair, sized it accordingly, and she can get up and down herself! Note: We also ordered the 5-point harness from Stokke because I still want her to be safely still for most of mealtime. And we ordered the Classic Cushion from Albee because it's more comfortable AND it makes it easier to use the harness. The mint color goes well with our mid-century style. So happy!

I am very pleased with my purchase, and my 2.5 year old grandchild loves it. I did not order the baby set parts, as she no longer needs to be strapped into a seat. The chair arrived promptly and was very easy to assemble. Plus, it is quite handsome!

The item is easy to setup, clean and is baby approved. We are going from Ikea Antilop which is an excellent chair and great value at $20 compared to the Trip Trapp. One of the reason for us getting the chair is that footrest as well as being able to use the chair beyond the initial years.

Beautiful and sturdy product that has a really small footprint. Had other high chairs and booster but booster without ergonomic foot support was not comfortable for toddler. Should have purchased this from the beginning. Worth every penny.

We had a more traditional high chair but our toddler was wanting more independence to get up and down at the table. This chair is great and gives her the ability to climb up and down by herself. It has made mealtime a joy again. Looks great. Fairly easy to put together. Love that it will grow with our child.

Our 4 year old still uses her Tripp trapp high chair daily. We kept her baby set for our ten month old and she’s doing great in it. Love that it grows with them and that makes it worth every penny!

We have gone through many high chairs, boosters, etc over the years. These are the first I’ve truly loved. We got these seats last week, and they’ve already made a difference in meal times. My two toddlers sit much better in them and seem to enjoy them a lot. Great quality and super adjustable. Would recommend!

We just splurged and got this chair for our 3 year old to be able to sit at the table with us. She loves it! And I love how it brings her to the table and is adjustable for her to continue to grow and use. It’s really the best option for her age, better than her trying to use an adult chair and not sitting properly or attaching a booster to a chair. Not just functional but looks great, I’m getting a matching one and all the baby add on’s for our baby coming next month!

We hesitated on getting one of these for a long time but we love it. It's easy to adjust and it will truly grow with our children for a lifetime. We're buying the younger one her own as well because she loves sitting in big sister's chair!

I have tried several other high chairs and all still have a way of hiding food crumbs. This seat is not only stylish and will last for the long haul but it is super easy to clean. No where for crumbs to hide!

I love the fact that I dont need to worry about falling chair and height. It is very sturdy and easy to adjust the height. The color is pretty. Assembly is a little tricky. I put the back piece upside down. If you checj the letters in sticker, you won't make the mistake I made. Overall, it is very good chair. I recommend it.

I wish I had purchased this chair sooner. My little one is two years old and has grown out of her first high chair and I had been eyeballing the Tripp trapp for awhile. The chair has a solid build, looks nice and it took me about 20 minutes to put together. Assembly tip: don’t tighten the screws until you have the seat and foot plate where you want them. We’ve been using this chair for about two weeks and my daughter loves it. She can get in and out of the chair independently and thinks of it as her “big girl chair”. This chair is much easier to wipe down than a traditional high chair. Messes come off easily and there aren’t nooks and crannies for food to get trapped. Buy this chair!

We love this chair so much that we bought a 2nd one for our 4yr old because she loved her baby sister's chair and asked for her own! Super comfortable for her and easy to get in and out of, especially for the preschool age. We use this chair for meal times as well as doing "school work" at home. Worth every penny!

My 4 year old either kept getting out of her seat or squatting on her chair during meal time. I learned from other parents, who had the same issue, that it was because of their seat. I ve been eyeing this one for a while. It’s expensive but, took the plunge and glad we did. It’s truly a piece that grows with the child and looks beautiful with your furniture without looking too childish..if that makes sense...

2019 version does not include harness which is essential for my daughter who is 18 months old. She does not need baby set so I would have purchased older version if I knew it. Also, you have to buy leg extension separately ($10) which is another negative but it was little cheaper so I don't have complaint.

I’m really happy with this chair and I’m glad I went for the oak. Yes, it’s even more expensive, which is unfortunate, but the finish is really nice and it’ll last a long time. I’m going to buy another for another baby we have coming and I’m sure it’ll be just as good as the first! I do wish they didn’t cost quite so much, but it is what it is.

We purchased this same chair along with the baby set and tray about 3 years ago for our now 3.5 year old and just recently purchased another chair for our 7 month old. We love these high chairs, they grow with your child and you never have to buy another chair! They are so easy to adjust and it's nice that we can use them up at the table so we can all sit together. We love how they aren't big and bulky and they don't take up a ton of room like some chairs.

when my baby first started solid, I bought the $50 Ikea chair. But when she started to get bigger the Ikea chair don't really work anymore. I was debating whether to get this weird shape chair (with such an expensive chair). But after I tried one in the baby store, I fall in love with it instantly and I had no doubt that this is it! My toddler loves it so much! She is able to climb up and down the chair by herself! Highly recommend this chair!

My son is 4 yr and he is outgrowing his Ikea red high chair but not big enough for an adult chair so when he's eating, he always lean on his back or sit with his leg hanging and he always says ' I'm tired. ' when he's eating. After talking with my friend who has one high chair like this but another brand, I bought this chair for him. Now he could sit straight with his legs rest on the panel and eat better now. I am very happy with this purchase.

Assembly was very straightforward and simple. I like the simplicity of design and the clean lines. It seems very sturdy and I love the fact that I will be able to use it for years. There are no weird smells straight out of the box which is a big plus. I usually have to set new items outside for a day or two to off-gas but that was not necessary with the Tripp Trapp.

at almost 3 years old, after seeing so many great reviews I finally gave in and bought it for my daughter.. and i wish i had bought it from the beginning. I think over the 3 years i have bought a total of 4 or 5 high chairs - infant chair, outdoor chair, booster seat, bumble seats... and this could all have been avoided if i had just gotten this one from the beginning. This thing is so much easier to clean, move around, fits under my table, my kids love it.. that being said .. i just bought another one for my 1.5yr son.

This chair is great for my toddler. She’s able to teach the table without being in a booster, and doesn’t fell like a “baby”. The storm gray color is beautiful, and the chair is modern. Plan to get another for my infant.
