Honestly, we would have been fine without the tray, but it is handy to have. Easy to clean. Easy to pop on and off. Doesn't take up too much space.

Easy to attach. Sturdy. Works great. My only issue is that the texture of the plastic doesn't allow for suction toys to be attached.

Love that it doesn't have to come off to get your child out. It's also the easiest tray to wipe off! And love that you can easily detach for a rinse off when needed.

Ordered the chair online. It came quickly. I put it together myself. Pretty easy to assemble. Love the chair. Easy to clean. Baby loves it too!

I am so aggravated with this tray and wish there was another option but now feel stuck with it. There is a MAJOR design flaw. The bottom side of it is molded in tiny triangle shapes, the perfect size for curious little baby fingers to shove anything they are eating into the ridges, and they will definitely do that. You cannot spray wash it out because the shapes are so small the water ricochets all over. I have to use the bottle scrubber to clean it out after. every. single. meal. As if being a mom isn't hard enough with an additional chore to do! You would think with this high price tag it would be more thoughtfully designed!

Easily installed; a must-have for the chair set.

The fact that the tray doesn't come with the high chair is ridiculous. And for being so expensive I'm so upset that I can not find any plate that will suction onto it. STOKE NEEDS TO DESIGN AN ACTUAL SUCTION PLATE THAT WORKS. WE PARENTS NEED IT FOR OUR SANITY. The material of the tray is rough and not smooth. I know stoke has a type of mat but I wanted a suction as my baby tosses her plate easily and it gives me anxiety. I've looked everywhere and nothing works. The tray cleans easily except as other reviewers mentioned, the bottom part. Has too many grooves (why does it need that many), and my baby always grabs it and food gets stuck. It's Very difficult to clean. I got the black tray after reading about stains ppl were getting from the white tray, and I haven't had any issues with staining. Clicks easily on and off for me as well.

Easy to wipe down or wash. Also just so cute. Fits perfectly. And unlike many baby products not a struggle to take on and off when needed.

It's nice that it's solid black, and sturdily enough built. It fits the chair well enough. But man that price is straight up outrageous. Someone gifted us a stokke chair, but if I had known how ridiculously overpriced all their attachments were I would've just had them return it.

What a shame. We love our Tripp Trapp chair, however, the material that this tray is made out of is such that nothing can suction to it. We have wonderful suction bowls, plates, and a toy....and nary an item will stick.

Purchased this tray for our granddaughter's high chair. Love both the chair and this tray except how much food gets stuck on the underside of the tray. Her sweet fingers grip the triangles and it's challenging to clean it 3x/day.

Yuck! The bottom is gross. Too hard to clean, never dries (especially if you're using it and washing it at least 3x/day). So many cut-outs, and hard-to-reach places, but mold finds a way. Way too expensive for being disgusting within a few weeks or months.

The back has tons of nooks and crannies that are very hard to clean. The white top takes several times clean off things like tomato sauce and red pepper sauce. It is hard to take on and off. It is expensive and really not user friendly.

easy to attach

I bought a Tripp Trapp chair secondhand. Out table is too high, so I ordered a tray, only to find out I also needed a baby set to attach the tray. The chair must be an older model because we had to modify the baby set to use the buckles with it. This is one of those things that seems like it would be simple and user-friendly, but it is far from it. The buckles are a hassle to adjust and put on and off. You might as well plan on purchasing a chair with every accessory because you can't use one without the rest. The tray itself is nice, I haven't had staining issues like others have mentioned. However, if you plan to use suction dishes, those don't work on this tray, as it has a rough surface rather than smooth.

The tray is a great addition to the chair, but I don't. Understand why there are so many grooves in the bottom. Especially around the edges. Our daughter always grabs onto the tray when eating and food gets stuck in the crevices. It's super easy to clean except that part!

Large tray, easy to get in and out of the baby seat. Only thing I would change might be the triangles at bottom of the tray because it's a little hard to clean food out of it, though it probably makes the tray sturdier.

Flimsy, hard to know if it's secure without really pushing down on it (using both hands) which, when I first did this, I ended up pinching my little ones arm in it. If your table is high enough, you don't need the tray.

My favorite feature of the Tripp Trapp is the versatility! Having the option of using a tray has been wonderful! The tray is a great size (not too small, but not huge either). The shape is great for keeping food within reach and on the tray as much as possible. We have not had any issues with using the EzPz small plates/bowls on the tray (the tray is too small for many EzPz items, but that doesn't bother us as we bring the chair to the table when using large mats). We love that this tray makes our Tripp Trapp the perfect chair in any situation! It clicks into place very easily, is sturdy when on the chair, and comes off easily as well. I love the design being one piece without anywhere for water to get into. Cleaning the tray is easy in the sink or to wipe down.

The tray works fine for baby; easy to take on and off (just watch for little fingertips when snapping it on!!!). However, whoever designed it clearly isn't the one cleaning it on a regular basis! The underside is an open honeycomb-style plastic moulding; why wouldn't this simply be covered up with a flat piece of plastic???? Such a hassle to clean this!!! Think the underside is impossible to get dirty?.... You'd be surprised!!
