My toddler is obsessed with this back pack and he takes it everywhere with him. Needless to say it's very sturdy! The oversized zipper handles are perfect for little hands so its way for a toddler to get in and out of the pockets on their own. Snacks fit in the front pocket with a flatter ice pack and all sorts of toys fit in the main pocket. It's very well constructed and he withstand daily toddler abuse.

I bought this for my granddaughter six months ago and she was over the moon with excitement! For her everything is about llamas. Unfortunately the zipper didn't hold up which is not uncommon for nylon zippers. The strange thing is we have a four year old backpack from Skip Hop that is still going strong. But when I contacted the company they generously replaced it which was greatly appreciated. This is the first time we have ever had an issue with a Skip Hop product and it was quickly resolved.

I have a very independent 1 yr old and she loves carrying her stuff into daycare. i decided she needed something bigger than her tiny lunch box so we bought her the Brooklyn Bee backpack and the matching water bottle. She loves it!! She can finally carry all of her stuff (including her blanket for nap time) and not fall all over herself. I wish the water bottle had an anti spill top but that's okay. Would recommend this for any young child.

Bought a couple weeks ago, and daughter has taken it EVERYWHERE. Even to sleep. Holds up, cute colors and favorite part is it's her FAVORITE "NANIMAL" (as she calls it.)

My son is 1.5 yrs old and this is the perfect size for him to carry some personal belongings, he loves having his own bag and the character makes it more fun.

I got this beautiful backpack for my 4 year old daughter. She started pre-k and she couldn't be more excited with her unicorn backpack. she got many compliments of her backpack and that made my daughter feel special and happy. The size is great for her because it's not too big, but also not too small. It's the perfect size for her, she was able to fit a notebook, her crayons and play-doh. That's everything she needs for school. I'm glad I got this backpack for my daughter.

Bought this little guy to use for my 11-month old's stuff for daycare (his big sister has the narwhal for preschool and she is OBSESSED with it) and it is it the perfect size for all his things - though big for him right now... but that is fine, it was part of the plan! I love that this can grow with him... the quality is great. The little side pouch for a drink is great too so you don't forget it in the bag overnight. Many of his new classmates have bags from this line and honestly the little menagerie coming at drop off and pick up is so cute! So far he's the only dragon though!

I can't say enough amazing things about this bag. It is perfect in every way but the most important. We bought two bags for our preschoolers and they were not able to fit a folder. This bag works great for daycare but not for school. If only it was 3 inches taller.
