I was looking for a portable may since I'll have to bring her to babysitters house before I go to work and was worried if other people's floor was clean or not. This was perfect because I can just roll it up like a yoga mat and stuff it in my car. It doesn't take up much space and the size is perfect when you lay it out. It's pretty spongy so if your little one falls backwards on her head, she won't feel as much pain. The colors are perfect since it's colorful and bright.

The mat is very nice, nicely cushioned, bright color, good size. The only problem I am having with it is it's really delicate. My 2-year-old played on it for about a week or so lightly, there's already a tear on it ... Keep my fingers crossed it won't wear out too quickly. If you have a little baby, definitely recommend it (I couldn't find better mat than this one on the market) But if you have an older child who is very active like mine and don't have too much control over his strength, think twice before purchasing it.

I bought this a few weeks ago. Let me just say I absolutely LOVE IT! My daughter loves all the animals on it. It's perfect for over our hardwood floors. I recommend it to anyone looking for a soft playmat!

This is the second playmat I've purchased with Skip Hop and it has the same great quality. It's easy to clean and has a fun design. It has the right amount of cushion for my 7 month old who is learning to get her balance right while standing. My 4 year old plays pretty rough and is always running and playing on it. I've had this one for almost a month now and no problems whatsoever. We have had our first one for almost 3 months and it's just like new.

I love the design of this mat - it's kid-friendly while still being stylish and appealing to adults. We've gotten lots of compliments on it. It gives my 4 month old a nice soft surface to play on, and drool, spit up, and other child-related goos wipe off easily. My 3 year old also loves playing "town" and driving toy cars around on the mat. Even our dog likes to curl up on it! We're very happy with the purchase.

After reading reviews I thought we'd made a good purchase but I was sadly mistaken after just a couple of week use the mat has stared to ripe in mutual places. We have 2 kids and I'm so disappointed we have never ever had this issue with skip hop before we have several back packs and lunch boxes so sad. This was a huge experience for our family for it to fall apart so quickly. Also it's hard to clean!!

This playmat was everything I wanted. I didn't like the idea of those puzzle style, foam play mats because they tend to fade and "flake" away with use. This one cleans easily and is just cushion-y enough to protect my baby when she's trying to sit on her own. The colors are vibrant and she loves to scrutinize each animal. I may eventually get a second one just so the kids have a larger area to play around in

I like how cushiony it is and that my grandson alway has a clean area to be on the floor.

Unrolled this mat a week ago and babe has enjoyed it since day 1. She likes being on her tummy & back, she is rolling around all over the mat, I'm very happy that I bought this. On her tummy she really enjoys looking at all the colorful animals and continents. We have it on top of a carpet and it lays nice and flat, feels thick enough so she can roll around comfortably and is easy to wipe off is she spits on it.

Playmat is extremely versatile Carla and extremely cute! The playmat makes playing on our hardwood floors extremely easy and much safer. Before that our daughter was roll over on her blanket and bump her head on the floor; now when she bumps her head on the floor she doesn't cry because the playmat is so soft and squishy. other play Max feel like a thin sheet thrown on the floor or a blanket at most, this one is like a nice silicone rug it's very large and when you bend down on the mat to play with your child/children it's good on adults needs as well.

Its very easy to fold and unfold to play. Fun colors and easy to clean! Our daughter loves it. We have a dog and a cat. Having a mat like that allow us to have a clean spot for her all the time.

Love this mat! The colors are bright and it's very soft and comfortable. Very easy to clean as my son is always spitting up. I love it on my new hardwood floors so they don't get scratched. My kids like the bright colors, but may be nice to have one more neutral so it looks like a regular rug. My only complaint is it could be bigger! Very recommended!

I bought this mat several weeks ago for my baby boy I cannot exaggerate enough how much we love it the pattern is super cute it is reversible we love the map side with the continents great for our teaching our little one as he gets older the other side matches anything as well it is lightweight so we can roll it up we have not traveled with it yet but I imagine we will be taking with us for trips to the grandparents house it is the perfect size plenty of space to play and enough room for a bouncer swing and tummy time with room for even scooting once he starts however it's not too big that it takes over our entire living room fairly easy to clean just clean with damp washcloth (dirt can get in the little grooves but we could probably vacuum just haven't done that yet) it is cushioned well to protect my baby's little head and knees from our hardwood floors not to mention protects our floors from spit up, poop etc. it is a little pricey but you definitely get what you are paying for seems to be good quality Five stars!

I like how colorful this mat is. And it is really easy to fold it and bring it to another room when needed, also - really easy to clean up!! I just don't get why they did not extend it with another couple of inches so the pattern can finish with a whole 'square'. It was going to look so much better!! It also holds a bit colder than our puzzle floor mat, but that's bot that big of a deal!

This play mat is just what we needed!! Our apartment has all hardwood and tile floors and not much space. So we were limited to where we could do tummy time with our now 7 month old. He started rolling over a little later than most babies and didn't look like he would even try to crawl any time soon. I was thinking that it's because he doesn't have the freedom to do so.. We got this play mat for his room instead of a rug. As soon as I put him on this play mat, he started army crawling to get to the different buildings pictured on the mat! He was so interested and motivated and had so much freedom on the mat! I also love that I can just wipe it clean from the dog and cat hair and any messes that the baby leaves on there. The reverse side is great when I want the look of a rug. This is one of my favorite purchases for baby so far!

Bought as a cushion for under Step2 Sports climber. I thought this would be a cute play mat to go under his climber as a cushion on top hardwood floors. After a week the mat is coming apart. Fine for infant tummy time. Not durable enough to put any type of toddler play gym or climber on top. Would not recommend walking on it as your toes will get caught and rip holes in the mat. I thought for the money and based on other reviews it was a durable and quality product. Not what I expected.

Awesome mat for baby to play on. Just the right amount of cushion to break any falls, but not so soft they can't balance. I also like how I can roll it up and put it away so there is always a pet hair free place for the baby to roll around.

I love the look of the product and it seems durable. No plastic smell. Great cushion for my baby thats learning to sit and hold themselves up. BUT the ends of the mat roll up even when flipped onto the other side. Ultimately this is a safety hazard because it is easy to trip over even for adults. In the end I wish I would have gone with the foam tiles.

I'm so happy I splurged and bought two of these play mats - one for my in-laws house and one for our house. It's super soft foam so my little one can play on this on our wood floors while still being comfortable. The design is cute, and my baby loves to look at the high contrast design of the houses/roads, and I think when he is bigger he'll still be able to enjoy this mat by driving toy cars on the road, etc.

I absolutely love this play mat! I got it because my baby was starting to roll and scoot all over the place, and is not crawling. It is extremely soft and the design is beautiful. My nephew who is 5 also loves it! He enjoys playing on the 'road'.

This mat is perfect! My 5 month old is rolling and scooting all over the place and this mat helps protect him from our hard floors. There's a good layer of foam and is very comfortable to sit/lay on. He loves the bright colors and I love that when we have company I simply roll it up and store it away.

This perfect for our six month old son who is starting to scoot. It is soft and has a good cushion so if he falls over it doesn't hurt him. This is just what we needed to put down on ou hardwood floors. We love it!

I bought this to replace the foam tiles in the play room and it slides on the wood floors. I could deal with that by putting 2 corners of the mat under the sofa. However, the quality is poor because my 1.5 y.o started peeling it and has pulled chunks of the foam off by hand. I'm disappointed that it is not durable.

My daughter had fun rolling around on this playmat. She stares at the cute characters and sometimes sleep on it too.

When reading the reviews I was very hesitant in purchasing this, as I had other foam mats in which the infants were able to take apart! However when putting the mat down in my living room, it was awesome! The kids all love it! If at sometime, in the future I am able to get another one, I will get one for my play room too! This one is in our living room!

I read the reviews before purchasing. I was slightly hesitant, but I feel like there's always a chance for a few that just aren't as good for some reason. I unwrapped it to check it out, my daughter loves it! We aren't currently using it full time since we are planning to use it in a room that is currently being remodeled. But my first impression is I love it too. It's adorable! It's large, soft and comfy. I hope it is good quality because I would keep this as long as possible.

I really loved this mat at first. But soon after we got it the squares would seperate and start to lift and eventually peel off. This has happened on both sides. We've tried gluing it back on but couldn't get it to lay flat. The edges would dry and and curl up and harden. It's starting to become really noticible and will probably have to get rid of it. And we just ordered this in February 2018.
