I love the color of this car seat and also that it’s so light. It also is nice that it doesn’t need an extra infant insert. I like the load leg also. I feel our son is safe and also pretty comfy.

We needed seats for our twins and went with Nuna because we had the original version of the Pipa back in 2017. They've definitely made improvements and the PIPA RX w/ RELX is a good mid-point between the many Pipa options. We wanted lightweight, the skydrape, the new base, the ability to install without the base, and the ability to buy 2 without spending $1,000. This one hit on the priorities and we've been happy with them!

I went with this seat for the load leg, ridged latch, light weight, faa approval, and ability to be used without its base (for easy travel). The material is nice and easy enough to take off to wash. Over all we're happy with this seat.

Everything is great about the car seat except I don’t think it is worth the price point. The seat itself is lightweight but the seat belt button at the end hurts my baby’s feet and is poorly thought out! Wish nuna would have thought that one through better. The handle also sits very upfront leaving no real good angle to attach any toys or anything to the car seat itself because it dangles right on his face instead of infront so he can play. The only thing I really enjoy is the relaxed base.

This has been such a wonderful car seat for our little one and if it's in your budget you should definitely go for it - you won't be disappointed! It is super safe, easy to use, comfortable and also looks really nice too! My baby was a preemie and we wanted something really safe and comfortable for her to travel around in - the Pipa RX car seat is very soft and so easy to install and even switch vehicles (we only needed one base in the end as it's so easy). I can't recommend it highly enough and has lasted my baby from birth until 15 months and we are now looking to buy the next one in the nuna range as we have loved this one so much!!

To be honest I initially wanted this car seat for its sleek design and color scheme. But now I’m so happy we got it, she was our third baby and this was the best infant car seat we purchased. It’s so light weight, the base is incredibly easy to install and I know she’s safe!

After a lot of research we decided to get this car seat for our baby due august 2021. This car seat has won me over into a nuna person! The straps are sooo easy to tighten and loosen when you get baby in and out of the seat, It glides like butter! Also seems very comfortable for my baby, he falls asleep every time he’s in it. I love the dream drape & that all the fabric is washable which is important in a baby seat. I wish the rx lite model had been out when the baby was born since it’s a little lighter than this one and I make fat babies but it’s still lighter than most other infant seats in the market.

Hi In the past I have had multiple car seats including a doona which I gave up due to i didn't enjoy it at all but now since I have brought the nuna my life became so much better n easier around its light wight makes it easier to carry around its a really pleasure to have i highly recommend this car seats to everyone u know

After researching extensively about infant car seats, I chose to purchase the Nuna Pipa RX and am thrilled that I made the decision to do so. We have been using this car seat regularly for almost 6 months and have loved it since day 1. Overall, the car seat just feels like a quality seat compared to the others we looked at in person and felt worth the higher price tag. Here’s where the Nuna Pipa stands out from the competition - * Dream drape - I didn’t find any other car seat that offered this but the UPF50+ dream drape is so wonderful to have for naps on the go or extra sun protection. It also has mesh sides to allow for air flow. When I’m with other mom friends, they often have to use a separate car seat cover to provide darkness and shade for their little ones which are annoying to get on and off, doesn’t allow you to peek in easily, usually don’t have UPF protection, and can make the car seat hot quickly * Weight and convenience - the Nuna Pipa was lighter than other models we looked at but also allowed you to use it on the go (eg Ubers, airplanes, other friends’ cars, etc.). * Relx base - being first time parents, having the extra leg support on the bottom gave us extra piece of mind to ensure our baby was safe and snug in the car seat. And the easy options to adjust recline were so helpful. * Fit and feel - We were about to go for the Uppababy Mesa which many of our friends own but I read/heard from other moms that it often got hot and sweaty for babies due to the tighter, narrower fit in the seat. The Nuna Pipa is generously sized so that our little chubby baby can happily sit in the Pipa without concerns or getting too hot. Honestly the only cons I would have to say for this car seat is that it’s harder to adjust the straps as your baby grows compared to others we look at. You have to unhook the straps at the back of the seat and rethread to move them up and down - not that difficult just not as easy as others. But a small price to pay compared to how happy we are otherwise!

Absolutely love this car seat and base!! I was stuck between the lite and this one and I am so happy with this system. The base is incredible and the car seat can be used with or without the base where the lite cannot. Totally recommend!!

I am a FTM and new to the car seat world. I have received several compliments on this carseat since my son was born. Everyone asks about it. It looks sleek and modern. It is very lightweight. I had a c-section due to him being breech and have been able to carry him in the carseat solo after the first week. He was 8lbs 4ounces at birth if that gives you any perspective on the total weight. I believe the car seat weighs 7.5-8lbs. It was a very easy install on the latch system behind the passenger side in my SUV. I had the local fire department assist to be sure it was correct. I initially installed it in the middle using the belt path with the base, but it was vey loose there and unstable, but on the latch it is solid as a rock. It is very easy to get in and out of the base. It is a little more difficult for me to get it in/out of our mockingbird stroller attachment, but I am able to do it. I just have a little bit of a difficult time pressing the belt holders along with the handle release button simultaneously. This is the reason for 4/5 stars. I'd buy this car seat again if I had to. Love the color as well. I already accidentally spilled some tea on the canopy and it wiped right out with water and didn't leave a stain. He has already spit up a little on the shoulder/neck pads on the carseat strap, but I haven't yet clean/washed this. I imagine it will be easy to clean. Definitely a good carseat that has a 7 year expiration that will get us through the next 1-2 kids.

This is my first time purchasing a nuna. I must say I do not have any regrets, well maybe one and it’s not buying this car seat for my other two children. It’s made to perfection and the body insert is so gentle I can’t wait to get my newborn in it.
