This car seat is the best car seat we’ve ever purchased over the course of 4 kids! The first thing I noticed when pulling it from the box was how incredibly light the carrier is compared to other brands. The next thing I noticed was how soft and protective the lining is. It’s cool to the touch too, which is beneficial for baby on hot summer days. In precious years, when purchasing car seats, I’ve noticed how they’ve all smelled strongly of chemicals, this car seat; however, had no pungent odors! Yay for organic materials :). The canopy is one of my favorite parts about this carrier (other than its light weight and high safety rating in crash test studies). The canopy has a zipper that allows you to pull out a stretchy extendable piece that magnetically attaches at the front, base, of the carrier for protection against wind, rain, sun, unwanted hands etc. The base of the carrier has an extendable bar that extends to the floorboard for support during a crash, and this thing is solid! The material of the base alone shows how durable and dependable this car seat system is. I’d recommend this purchase to any mom, or dad :), looking for a safe and reliable car seat that’s also light weight.

I just love this car seat. They really thought of everything. The dream drape is such a great feature. No fussing with a car seat cover. Just unzip if and lay the magnets in place. And it even has little holders on the sides for holding the seat buckles in place. It’s easy to get her in and out. And installation? Fuggetaboutit. If you’ve got a vehicle with car seat brackets this will take approximately three minutes to install. I even took an Uber with it and snapped it right in with no trouble. I wouldn’t bother buying a spare base because the install is so easy. And it’s so darn light!! Carrying her in this seat is no trouble at all! My sister’s baby is the same age and she stopped carrying her infant seat places. She takes her baby out and uses a sling. No problem for me though. My little girl can keep napping all through a trip to the store because this is so light I don’t mind carrying her anywhere we go! The only downside is that it is too wide for my SUV. The front passenger seat has to be pretty far forward to occomodate this. So far forward that no one can use that seat anymore. Which is pretty disappointing. So whenever we go somewhere as a family my husband drives and I sit in the back with her. Also the seat runs pretty hot. I make sure my baby isn’t overdressed if she’s going to be in the seat for awhile. She outgrew the newborn insert though so that helped cool her down. Oh and did I mention it has a newborn insert?? I still use the newborn headrest with my five month old to keep her from flopping over while she sleeps. She seems very comfortable in it. And the aspen color is really nice and gender neutral. I really coudln’t be more pleased with this purchase. The stroller is great too!

We have been using it a lot with our newborn. It's super light and we love how soft the newborn insert is. Our baby likes it as well.

Love Nuna Pipa Car seat and so does my Baby! He can sleep and ride so comfortable in it, doesn’t cry at all. I’m glad I made this purchase, worth every penny.

This car seat is amazingly light and so easy to use. It’s easy to carry from place to place and easily works with strollers attachments. I especially love that the sunshade is right there in the canopy whenever you need it and it zips away unnoticed when you don’t. The fact that it comes with 2 infant inserts is fabulous when one gets soiled and needs cleaning. Highly Recommend without question.

I love this carseat. It was so easy to install and so lightweight. I had a chico key fit 30 before this one and I can tell a huge difference. This is just an overall better quality and lighter weight seat.

We love this car seat - the color, the features, all of it! Our baby has not yet been born, but we can't wait to install it into the car and bring our little one him in this seat. We also loved ordering from Albee Baby - their customer service is really great - they are extremely responsive and customer forward!

The Car sear is very lite I love It. My wife loves it and so does Grandma. It fits right in your car and easy to place in and take out. Super easy to instal.

As a first time mom, I do a lot of reserch about infant car seat and ask my friends who have babies. Compared to many different brands of car seats, I finaly choose Nuna to nest my first little one. When I get and open the package, It is really high quailty and I love it .I hope my baby loves it too.

I am so glad I found this car seat. It is soft and comfortable for my baby, and light and easy to carry around! I started out with the Chicco fit2 and had a hard time getting my baby comfortable in it, and it made me not want to go anywhere because I felt bad putting him in it! The material is just so much softer on this car seat and the angle around his head is much more natural and comfortable. Great design, excellent safety ratings, light to carry, and it looks great too! I am becoming a big Nuna fan, I think it is worth the price.

This is the best car seat out there. First the base. So easy to get a safe install everytime. It’s also super easy and fast to install, so the fact that you have to install the car seat with the base is not really not a big deal. I love the rigid latch and the latch guides. Also the stability leg makes things so much more secure, especially when comparing to other infant seats that don’t have one. Now the seat. We choose the Lite Lx because of the merino wool material. No chemicals and moisture wicking is seriously amazing and bonus how soft it is. Also included is the organic insert. We love both so we are keeping the extra insert in the car Incase of blowouts. When looking at the seat, it’s very obvious Nuna thought if everything. There are little pockets to put the seatbelt in, so it doesn’t get buried under baby. There’s a Dream drape and a pop out visor. And finally it is seriously so light weight. And it really does make a difference when carrying around a baby. Especially if your hands are full and you have a toddler on the other hand!

I have been waiting to buy this car seat for awhile! It is high quality and looks great! I love that it has all the features you would want and is light in weight.

We love our Nuna Car Seat. The Stone color swap is basically the 2016 color but it’s the exact same as the 2017 models but $100 cheaper. We absolutely love the dark grey Stone color and would definitely recommend it. It’s super light weight and we also love the fabric, much better than the non-Lite model.

The seat is so light, but also very well made. Fits well 3-across as well. Shipping was fast too which was an added bonus.

Opted for this car seat bc of the weight. Car seat lady.com advises against it because you cannot use it without the base. I was like- when will I Uber with a newborn. Turns out- a few times. And I looked for a new car which was stressful without the ability to safely put this car seat without the base. Yes, I knew it when I bought it. Just cautioning. Car seat is beautiful. Fabric is fabulous. My lo has an aversion to car seats. But that’s not nuna’s fault. My favorite thing about car seat was that you can flip the handle all the way back and it sort of props baby up versus the total incline. Friends also commented on this cool feature. I loved the dream drape of course. Unsure if it’s user error but I find that extra little drape that’s hardish (the one you can pop out or out back in)- I found it kind of annoying. It made it so it was too bulky to push back behind the carrier. I ended up messing it up with dents in it trying to push it back. Overall- still don’t see a better newborn car seat out there.

Easy to take in and out of car. Its light weight and the sun shade is so convenient.

We chose the Nuna Pipa Lite LX based on hours of research, reviews, and recommendations. When the car seat arrived it was even nicer than we expected and so light! And that dream drape! It's so nice to have that built in and I love that it has mesh ventilation on the sides so baby can breathe fresh air. Our baby has not arrived yet, but when he does we are sure he will love it.

I love it sooo much! I can't wait for my little one to get here so she can ride in style.

Very safe

We love this carseat! We took a lot of time out researching/watching videos in the process of finding a perfect carseat for our baby that will arrive soon. This is one of the few car seats that is definitely flame retardant free and contains very little if any toxic materials. It has a lovely wool cover instead (wool is naturally flame retardant and also antibacterial/anti-microbial). It's very safe with its load leg and the energy absorbent inner material Aeroflex. We also went with the LX instead of the regular Lite because of the much needed dream drape. We were also happy that it was narrow enough to fit with our other two carseats (Clek Fllo and Clek Oobr) as we needed to fit 3 across my Subaru Outback. It's not a cheap purchase but definitely a worth while purchase!

This car seat is very easy to install. The latches turn green when correctly installed and there are levels on each side of the base that make it a breeze! Love that the insert is organic cotton and you get an extra one too! The dream shade is amazing and eliminates the need for a car seat cover.

This carseat hits all the high notes! Wonderful fabric, super lightweight and love the canopy! Easy install. Every ounce of weight makes a difference when toting baby around so this is perfect!
