These are hard to find now that they have upgraded the Nuna car seat. However, it was exactly what I needed for our Nuna Pipa Lite car seat in our nanny’s car! Came well packaged and works great.

Extra base to easily swap car seat into each vehicle

I love the Nuna seat but find the base harder to use than others I have tried. It is not as easy to clip in or to get out because the release is only on the base meaning you have to grab and lift the seat out with only one hand which is difficult with a 20lb baby. On other bases the release is on the seat itself allowing you to grab the seat and lift with two hands. But this is my only complaint.

The first time installing the base it was a bit tricky to figure out the stability leg. However, once you have the adjustment of the leg figured out it’s really easy. The latch guards included worked well in our new Subaru, but our older Toyota sedan was difficult to locate and access the latches to use the latch gaurds. (Which was more an issue of the angles in the car, not the Nuna car seat base). For daily use in parent vehicles this base is so convenient.

My husband was against spending this much money for a second base. However, after he installed the original one that came with the seat, he was sold. Easiest installation we've ever had. Even the grandparents have no trouble.

Bought this for a second car to use with the Nuna Pipa Lite Lx. The base is super easy to install with latch and also easy to remove. The rigid latch connectors make the install super tight so you don’t have to worry about any pulling or manually tightening the base. My only complaint is that there isn’t much you can do to adjust the recline of the base. There is a foot that folds in and out, but if that doesn’t put the recline in the optimal position (like for a newborn) there isn’t really any other way to adjust it. For such an expensive base it would be nice if it had more of a range of recline options.

Ease to use, small

Installation using the LATCH connectors was super fast. A little tricky to get the leveling bubble to line up but this is extremely helpful to ensure the carseat is properly and safely installed. Love the stability leg, it feels much safer with this added feature.

I had previously order the Nuna mixx travel system and wanted to have 2 extra car seat bases for my mothers car and mother-in-law’s car as they each would be watching my daughter 1 day a week when I went back to work. It made it very convenient to drop her off in the mornings. We did not having to spend the time taking out our car seat base to lend to them ours for the day. I loved it! After reading countless reviews, I decided on the Nuna Pipa car seat. The car seat does come with a base, so I ordered an extra one for my husbands vehicle. That way we won’t have to be uninstalling from car to car, I find it will be easier to have 2 bases. It’s sturdy and one of the best on the market. My husband and I were in a car accident on Mother’s Day. This car seat base is so easy to install I feel is so much safer with the supporting bar on it.

My husband and I purchased an additional base so we can easily go between cars with the car seat. I love how secure the base is in the seat. The support arm really does put my mind at ease about our little one being jerked around in the unforeseen circumstances of an accident. The base also makes getting the car seat in and out of the car very simple with one little pull button. I would definitely recommend the nuna pipa base (and car seat lines) to my friends and family.
