Love love the materials it's made out of so I can trust and feel safe using it for my baby. However, the surface is not flat, took a level to it and there was a -4 in the middle and -1 on the corners. The front and back had a -6. This is concerning as the AAP says FLAT surfaces are safe for baby, which this is not. 3/5 stars would have been 5 if not for the unevenness.

We love the innerspring mattress we purchased for our baby. She will soon be rolling in her sleep and we feel she will be sleeping safely on this breathable mattress.

After several friends recommended Naturepedic products due to their durability and being toxic-free, I'm so happy I listened. The crib mattress is light but firm and great for years. The changing pad is easy to wipe down and the silver lining is knowing how safe the products are.

After reading about a dozen mattresses, it was narrowed down quickly with one remaining. Naturepedic! This mattress is the only one needed to last thru toddler years.

I'm very happy with this mattress for my child's toddler bed. Customer service was very helpful answering my questions, and I chose the 252 innerspring option to withstand any jumping on the bed that might occur. I also like the waterproof option as we're starting potty-training. Most of all, I like knowing that my toddler is sleeping on a mattress free of toxic chemicals.

My baby has been sleeping very comfortably in his mattress so far. It was a smooth transition from his bassinet. It's pretty different to the "normal" mattresses, but it seems well made and firm. The waterproof cover is also convenient. Would recommend it.

My daughter sleeps much better! And the fact that the mattress 'grows' with the kid, makes it economical and long lasting. The only thing I wanted more obviously noted (and I could have missed it), is the side for the infant vs. toddler?

Mattress was delivered quickly. It's organic, breathable, and lightweight (which will make for easy late night crib sheet changing)- what more could I ask for!? Looking forward to bringing baby home to start using it. But I know I made the right choice in choosing a Naturepedic mattress!

As a first time mom, I spent hours on google researching the safest baby products. The Naturepedic crib mattress checked all the boxes. I didn't need to look further. While my infant isn't sleeping in the crib yet. I'm so glad I have the peace of mind of knowing I made the right choice. The mattress is great quality and we can't wait to have many sweet dreams on it.

We have not used the mattress yet (baby not here yet) but it seems like a great mattress. I chemical smell, firm, and great communication with ordering process.

This mattress gives me such peace of mind when my daughter sleeps on her stomach face down - which seems to be her favorite sleeping position. Knowing the mattress is breathable and organic is so comforting for my husband and I. We also love the two different levels of firmness on either side of the mattress, so we'll be able to use it a long time.

So happy with this purchase for our nursery. This is our first baby, so have done a lot of research to identify which products we want to use and ultimately landed on the Newton Mattress and Changing Pad. Overall, I am so happy with the quality of the product and can't wait to use it when he arrives this summer!

I did hours and hours of research for the safest mattress for our new grandchild. This mattress tops the list. It's not inexpensive, but it is worth every penny for the peace of mind it gives. We wrapped it with a BabeSafe mattress wrap (from New Zealand, where they've eliminated SIDS by using these wraps!), and combined they are the best protection against SIDS. I highly recommend, it's a super quality mattress!

Love it! We moved my baby from the pack and play to the mattress and he slept three hours longer that night. He used to wake up and protest each time we moved him from our bed where he fell asleep to his. Now, when we put him there, he stirs a bit and goes back to bed. If I had known it was this great when he was a baby, we never would've had the bassinet! I haven't had any sagging issues either. It's comfy, but firm enough to be safe for baby.

I just bought this mattress for my second child, arriving soon. We have used the same model with my older son, who is 2.5. It has been fantastic. We found the "infant" side to be the perfect firmness when he was a baby. Since he graduated to the "toddler" side, he loves it too. Sleeps 14 hours a day on it, loves his crib and his mattress! He also can jump up and down on it without me worrying that a spring will break - and even if it does, Naturepedic has a great warranty policy. Highly recommended.

The mattress has a firm side and a soft side so it's great that it will last to toddler years. It's good quality and organic! We like it. The only thing is that the breathable cover has this woven pattern which leaves marks on baby's face every morning although they fade away very quickly too!

We researched and tried several mattresses before this, and Naturepedic's hits the optimal spot between good construction, organic materials, breathability, and price.

i love that it's non toxic. i wish it were softer. i wish i knew if it was reversible vs which side should be up.

This is the 2nd mattress that I have purchased for my grandchildren in a little over a year. The delivery was quick for both (one on west coast and most recent on the east coast) and the mattress fit great in the pottery barn crib and Graco cribs. The mattress pad that came with the mattress is very nice quality. Very nice to know mattress is organic.

I am thankful to rest easy having purchased this mattress for our daughter. My only complaint is once it came the box said the breathable cover is less or not effective if covered w a sheet and I think it's too scratchy to use without a sheet. It makes sense, I just hadn't thought it thru. I still give it 4 stars and am happy I purchased.

Found this mattress after doing hours of research on crib mattresses. Very satisfied. No "new" mattress smell and our babe has slept better than ever. Met the safety requirements I was after. Shipped right to me very promptly, and the mattress seems great so far.

I did a lot of research on the important features that a good crib mattress should have. This mattress encompassed all of them. It fit the crib snugly and was nice and firm with no unpleasant smell like some mattresses do. Best of all, it's organic which was a top priority for me. In the past, I had purchased an organic sheet set from Naturepedic, and it was top quality so I was confident this mattress would be of the same high quality, and I was not disappointed.

While I have not used it yet because baby number one is on the way, I can tell in comparing it to other mattresses I have felt, that this mattress is of highest quality. I love the fact that it has two sides one for infant and the other side for toddler so that I don't have to purchase an entirely separate mattress. It's firm enough for an infant but still feels incredibly comfortable when I push down on the coils. I know several people who have use this mattress and it was highly recommended to me.

Want the best for baby, so keep those pesticides away. This one is good for baby as well as toddler!
