Bought for my granddaughter birthday

This is such a great learning toy! Our son loves it!

I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter, but her 4 year old and 7 year old brothers enjoy it even more than her. It's been lots of fun eating pretend food.

Velcro wore out in a couple days; can't traffic fruit parts.

Great product. My granddaughter is learning the names of fruits and loves it. And the customer service at Melissa & Doug is outstanding. The packer had put the wrong order in my box. I complained on a Saturday and had a new order with the correct merchandise by Tuesday. Also, a rep called me & gave me a discount on my next purchase.. Their service is topnotch, as is their product.

My granddaughter loves playing in her little kitchen. This was a great addition. She's learning about cutting with the play knife, and sharing "pieces" with her sister.

Loved this for about a month then the paint starters chipping off. Really disappointed

I wanted to get these for my daughter cause I loved them when I was young. We've had them two months now, and I was really disappointed that the paint chips off really easily. It already looks like they were mine i had as a child. I think these would have been better executed better as unfinished wood...

My Great Nephew loves to pretend cook for me. This is a nice addition to his pretend food & helps with eye-hand coordination.

My grandson is 3 year old and loves it. Will definitely buy more.

I bought this set for my grandchildren to use in their playhouse kitchen.

The paint is chipping off several of the fruit pieces. I had to put the set away because I'm worried my daughter will eat the paint pieces. We have had several Melissa and Doug products and have always been happy. These are not a quality product or worth the $.

I bought my grandson a cutting fruit set for Christmas. After a few months the fruit does not stick together anymore, which makes my grandson very frustrated.

My four year old granddaughter wanted this VERY badly. She asked Santa for it. She plays non-stop with it. Very happy I purchased it. Great quality, of course!

The whole concept is awesome! My daughter has been playing with them since she got them two days ago but as much as we love them the Velcro is falling apart and they are starting not to stick to each other which is very frustrating to my 1 year old. The paint is also chipping.

Huge M&D fan... but completely let down by the quality of this product. Great ideas (as all products by M&D are) - but extremely poor quality. Velcro barely holds pieces together (They'd be better off replacing them with command strips) and our knife fell apart as we took it out of the box - not sure why they made it out of two pieces.

I have my granddaughter in the kitchen with me all the time. She is only 2.5, and I will not give her anything sharp until 8. This is great as she feels a part in the kitchen. This is a Christmas gift, can hardly wait. Only wooden pieces allowed by parents.

My 2. 1/2 year old boy/girl twin grandchildren are mesmerized by this set. They adore slicing the fruit, piecing them together, and serving fruit salads. They are improving their hand co-ordination and spatial skills while delighting their sense of accomplishment. Very awesome buy.

Really nice idea, but it has being used for 2 weeks and the Velcro is not working, also pieces don't match perfectly.

After this gift was opened on Christmas my two year old granddaughter lost interest in remaining items. She quickly began - and repeated - the process of cutting. This item will be included with the other kitchen and cooking items that she has and is a nicely made product that has already proven to be a good addition

I bought this set for my grandchildren who thoroughly enjoyed preparing the food. Great for developing fine motor skills and pretend play!

For any child who wants to "cut" fruit. Safe. Each fruit is held together with velcro so when the child pretends to cut the fruit is splits in half.

Our grandson loves to "cook" and this is a great addition to his kitchen! Creative play is such fun!
