I am absolutely in love with my Maxi-Cosi Tayla XP Modular Travel System! This is an all inclusive set so you don't have to worry about buying all of the components separately and making sure they work together. Literally includes everything: infant car seat, base and stroller! I am over the moon with the Coral XP infant car seat. It has been a life changer because it features 4 ways to carry and I never even knew this existed! I have been carrying the seat using the cross-body carry mode. It makes it so easy to lug baby around. Especially for me because I have a very bad back and am still recovering from my last cesarean section. It's a breeze to do too. You just pop the outer shell off and you're able to carry baby just using the inner liner (which only weighs 5 lbs by the way and actually feels less than that). This is absolutely the lightest car seat I've ever carried and I have 3 under 3, so I've had A LOT! I really love that the cross-body carry mode allows me to have really one side of my body completely free. This has made trips out and about so much easier. I'm able to wrangle my other 2 little ones in, shop, grab things , pick things up etc without having to put baby down in her seat to do all of these things. My back has noticed a huge difference as well. I can tell when carrying baby in her seat, I'm not hunched over or feeling like I've pulled a muscle in my arm. Ugh! Installation was such a breeze too. The instructions are numbered and very well written so even if you had no clue how to install a base and seat, you'd easily be able to. The base is normally the hardest part to install but not here. Love all the features on the stroller. Love the reversible seat so baby can see the world when on walks but can turn around to see me for comfort when in stores. I have purchased and used multiple infant car seats and higher end strollers in my time as a mom. My first impression is that this travel system is fancy! The stroller maneuvers with ease and I love the vegan leather details, sleek dark finish of the frame, and the sporty feel of the reversible fabric. I am impressed that the fabric is also free of harsh chemicals and machine washable and dryer safe. The break system is also beautiful and fun to use. The stroller is easy to fold and unfold with one hand and really does stand on its own! The 360 privacy shade that zips out of the stroller seat canopy is a thoughtful feature. It's a little hard to zip back up and I think a magnetic closure would work nicely here, but it's functionality outweighs this small annoyance. I have more confidence taking baby out in public when she is completely covered during the pandemic. I am excited to use it when mosquitoes come out this summer too! Although I would love this as a double stroller, the versatility of this travel system is endless and can accommodate my twins. My favorite way to move about is to carry one baby in the inner carrier using the cross body strap, while pushing my other baby in the stroller seat, partially reclined, facing me, with the 360 privacy shade down. I am approached every time I am in public this way by people wanting more information about the infant seat. The star of this travel system is the Coral XP Infant Car Seat!! The three piece nesting system is incredible! The base has a stability leg, foolproof leveling, and one handed push tightening when using the latch system. I also love that the latches click into the base for neat storage. I highly recommend this travel system for buyers looking for baby gear with multiple configurations and possibilities!

Unlike other luxury travel systems out on the market (which my husband and I spent months analyzing for our first child), this travel system provides so many perks that makes it a steal for the listed price. Let start off with the infant car seat, the lightness of the car seat, its grip curve and the 4 different modes of carry provide me the ease of dropping off and picking up my child at daycare without feeling conscious of people looking at me struggling to carry my child in his car seat. My favorite way to carry is the cross-body carry with the nicely padded strap. The car seat itself is secure, intuitive adjustable latch, nicely padded with premium cushion that my child would fall asleep within minutes being in the car. Now the stroller, this stroller has such nice leather details, slick lines and smooth wheels that it is hard to ignore. It is very easy to fold and more compact than what I imagined. My child can be forward facing or rear facing, the seat also has adjustable reclination. My favorite feature is the 360 MaxShade, it is great for outdoor but especially during the time of the pandemic, the ability to pull this all the way down to provide another layer of privacy and protection/separation from potential outside germs is a wonderful perk to all parents. The BEST PART is even with the shade down the front meshing allows me to see what he is doing inside at all time. Overall, a great travel system that every parent should consider looking at.

I received this product through the stellar product testing panel and we love it. My little one loves the different things you can do with it. She loves the ability to face forward and backward in the stroller and the ease of being put in the car seat. We usually go on a couple walks a week and she loves to look around at the cars, trees and animals. The stroller is a smooth ride on sidewalks and on the street. Being able to face forward and backward with a push of two buttons makes it worth it. We also love the ability to remove the lap bar to get our daughter in and out of the stroller. With every other car seat/stroller my daughter will cry if you put her in the seat, but with this product she is fine and actually loves being in it. She is also just learning to sit up, so the adjustability on the toddler seat is easy and helps with her development. The two things that we did not like is that the wheels are only made to travel over a hard surface, so when going to the park the stroller has a harder time going over grass. I prefer the jogging stroller wheels for that reason. Also when we are walking you can hear some kind of rubbing from the wheels that we were never able to figure out. But other than that this travel system is top notch.

Upon unboxing, I was immediately impressed by the sturdy construction and durable, yet luxurious fabrics. It's truly a gorgeous piece of equipment! It was quick and straightforward to assemble and foolproof in reconfiguring. I love that the stroller can be assembled both forward and rear facing and has a full recline position with a maximum coverage sunshade. My only complaint is that I wish the tires were air-filled for a smoother ride (the stroller has been used primarily for neighborhood walks on the street). The Coral XP carseat is SO impressive. Most importantly, it supports my infant really well in a midline position. Other carseats leave him slumped to one side, but this carseat supports him so that I am not worried about his airway being closed off. Safety and peace-of-mind are priceless. The removable, light-weight inner carrier with the carrying strap was such a fun surprise. I've never seen such an innovative feature. It was especially useful immediately postpartum when lifting was especially strenuous on my body. It has also proven to be helpful in that my toddler can ride in the stroller while I carry my infant over my shoulder in the inner carrier during errands. My only complaint about the carseat is that I wish it had a larger sunshade to use when configured into the stroller. Overall, this is a MaxiCosi dream come true and I am SO impressed!

As a mom of 2 little ones, I'm always looking out for products that can make my day go smoother. This travel system definitely fit the bill. The pull out car seat carrier was effective but still felt bulky and heavy once I put my 16 lb baby in there. I love the stroller and snapping the car seat into it was definitely the way to go for me. The wheels aren't the best over broken pavement. But as a travel stroller it definitely serves its purpose. I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Tayla XP stroller itself is super lightweight compared to my other single stroller. It's a breeze to adjust the handle height and has nice leather detailing. Seems very high end. I love that you can have your child facing out or towards you. Easy to go back and forth. Right now my 6 month old likes to face me! She seems super cozy in there. The fabric is nice and soft and easily wiped down. The recline is very generous and the sunshade is huge! It has a mesh opening to let air in and my favorite feature is that it has a bug shield that unzips from the shade to cover the entirety of the seat to protect from whatever you need it to! The basket could be a little bigger in my opinion and it's really tricky to fold and unfold the stroller with babes in tow. You have to slide and hold something down. It's alot to maneuver. I'm also not a fan of the wheels. They are plastic and make a lot of noise just in the street. I wish they were rubber! It comes with a nice cup holder but that seems a little flimsy. It also has separate adapters for the Coral XP car seat. I was super excited for this cool new car seat with an inner carrier and shoulder strap. Took me a minute to figure it out but it really is a nice convenient feature. Infant seats can be super bulky and annoying to carry and being able to take the inner part out AND have a soft carry strap is a win in my book. Is it a little much? Probably, but I'm all about making life easier. The car seat fabric is soft with a nice sized sunshade (that part stays on the outer part of the seat). Oooh the base has a "kickstand" for added stability in the car. Any added safety features just make this car seat more appealing. We loved using this travel system! It was so easy to use. We used the seat for our 25 lb 2 year olds and the infant car seat attachment for our 5 week old! So simple to set up and the quality is amazing. The car seat is fantastic. We love how safe it is and how easy it is to grab the inner inset and go! We got so many compliments on it!! My daughters loved this stroller and were so happy in it! I love how easy it is to use and how light it is- makes such a difference! There is so much to love about this travel system! Since it comes with both a car seat and a stroller, I'll discuss each individually, but I truly love this system as a whole. First, I really love the design of the Tayla stroller. It feels very high end with the leather accents, and also has a very smooth ride thanks to built in suspension. Although I wasn't impressed with the plastic wheels right out of the box, I have been pleasantly surprised with their performance on multiple types of surfaces-again, very smooth. I also really love that the stroller has a true one-handed fold and stands up on its own in the folded position. As a mother of two, my only disappointment with the stroller is that it isn't convertible to a double. Even a ride-on board would be great, but I haven't seen that accessory available yet. Second, the Coral XP car seat is truly innovative and will probably be a game changer for infant car seats in the future. The primary benefit of this car seat is the lightweight "inner seat" that can be removed from the outer shell to carry your infant around. I absolutely love this feature! The fact that the carrier is only five pounds is wonderful! But the thing I love even more than the light weight is the handles and carrying strap. Traditional car seat handles are so awkward, but the handles and strap on the inner seat are so much more natural to hold. Keep in mind, though, that you can't really use a car seat cover with the inner carrier because it doesn't have a sun shade or top handle. The biggest downside of the Coral XP is that it is very cumbersome when used with the outer shell. The total weight of the seat with the outer shell is about 12 pounds, which is pretty heavy for an infant seat. It's also slightly larger than most car seats, which means it doesn't fit in shopping cart car seat holders and isn't compatible with some strollers. After receiving this through the stellar product testing panel, I fell in love. Not just me, but my 8wk old too! The ease of on-the-go travel and seamless in and out feature that the car seat provides is unbeatable. We just took our first road trip, two hours, being able to easily pop her out and run into a store was so nice. Not having to worry about taking her out, putting on a coat, it was amazing. The stroller is our new favorite. We have another luxury brand and honestly, this one beats all. Everything can be done one handed. It's smoother than any other stroller we have or tested. I'd give this travel system ten stars if I could.
