This is a very nice looking car seat that blends in with my vehicle really well, but most importantly, I love that toxic fire-retardant chemicals are NOT use on the fabric and that the padding feels very soft and secure for my baby (I did not notice any chemical smells that some reviewers mention). The harness system is also AWESOME - it truly makes it so easy to get in and out with the magnetic clip and flip away buckle. I made the mistake of going cheap with my infant carrier and the buckle on that car seat is such a pain to use in comparison to this one; those extra seconds make such a difference in cold winter temperatures or with fussy babies. I ended up getting two - one for each vehicle. Highly recommend!

Let me first say that I wanted to be a Maxi-Cosi fan but this is my first and last Maxi-Cosi car seat purchase. The seat comes with zero packing protection new in box- no bags, paper, or foam, just a box with a loose users manual. OK environmentally friendly perhaps but the product suffers in transit as a result. As others reviewers have mentioned, Pulled threads randomly all over the fabric and the stench of what I can only imagine is something akin to formaldehyde are the first impressions you'll be greeted with. Then it's time for the install...For almost an hour and a half my wife and I struggled to install this seat and still could not get it to securely tighten to the car without sloppy side to side movement. Even the maxi-cosi website tutorials were insufficient in addressing proper installation. There's no way I could put my child in this seat and feel remotely like it's offering adequate protection. I'm astonished this seat hasn't been recalled and pulled from store shelves as its build quality is cheap and all methods of securing the seat in the car leave way too much play for the seat to move around during a potential car accident. I've purchased 3 Chicco car seats prior to this one, all with incredibly thoughtful and reliable safety features that took less then 10 minutes to install and will be returning this seat to purchase another Chicco. For the safety of your children, please don't buy this seat.

I'm not sure what kind of chemical mixture they used in manufacturing this but it's awful. I am retuning the car seat. I don't want my baby inhaling those fumes. Even after washing multiple times and airing out on my porch, the stink of chemicals remains strong.

I'm so impressed with the customer service! We loved the pria all in one that we bought for our daughter about a year and a half ago, but we noticed it was starting to wear after one 1-2 washes, so I messaged them and got replacement interior fabric/padding delivered to my front door within TWO days! Wow! Made us go out and buy the Max version for my son! Can't beat the customer service!

I've had this car seat since my son was about 8 months and he is now 4 and a half. It has been through so many stains, accidents, and even my 55lb bulldog sitting on it. The seat still looks brand new and there are no rips! I will be passing this seat down to my second child when he is big enough.

I was in love with the infant car seat and then thought of going for the same brand thinking it will be same as the infant seat . But I am wrong it's very bulky and take so much space and heavy . Material is very good as always. But soon after my first wash it started to rip open from the stitches. And very little padding on the bottom , I don't know what to do . We spent so much thinking this will be great purchase, but no . Such a waste .

I bought this seat and on day #3 when I was buckling my little one in...one complete side of the shoulder harness completely disconnected and it appears it was never anchored. I was so excited about this seat, but now Im terrified and will never buy this brand again. WHY-would they even be designed to come unanchored? No way this is safe....had it not come out when I was buckling I never would have know.

I love the cup holder proximity and that you get two. We had used 3 different pria models with our daughter and I bought a nuna for my second son because it felt study. Well the cup holders on the car seat are awful and a child can't reach them until 3+ so I decided to buy a new pria in the max all in one. My son had an accident and peed so I had to wash the fabric. I washed it on delicate in a non agitating HE washer and the entire seam that runs your child's knee back to their butt ripped. I was hoping I could find a replacement cover set since there is nothing structurally or age wise wrong with an 18 month old car seat.

I hate this car seat. It's a total pain to install tightly, the instruction manual is useless, it's a poor design, if you take off the cover or try to reassemble the straps good luck getting it back together correctly. There are no good videos online to clarify the bad instructions. Just.. do not recommend at all for this price. It matches my car so there's that but that's about the only good thing I can say.

It's tough I cannot find parts to the Maxi Cosi Magellan Max Locking cups anywhere online or on the Maxicosi website...I have lost both of the locking cups on my daughters car seat because she knows how to remove them and also our stroller has a plastic cup holder that locks in place on the side and that was lost during our flight to Canada...I think Maxi Cosi needs to have items that are easy to detach off its items available for parts because buying a whole new car seat is not cheap.

I've washed my under a year old car seat pads TWICE tonight they fell apart leaving me without a car seat now for my 19 month old son. Very unhappy with the money spent on what I thought was a top Of line car seat.

The rear high strap connects to an anchor point typically on the rear of the seat. To tighten said strap, instead of pulling away (giving you maximum leverage) you must awkwardly force the strap downwards where the locking pin interferes with getting it to synch. The side anchor straps is actually one strap that has 3 tails, making it impossible to tighten all 3 directions causing sloppiness in seat-to-car connection and extremely dangerous if the vehicle experiences any whipping motion.

If you are pressed for discrimination this isn't your seat, but in every other way it's fabulous. Great height and weight limits to keep them rear facing and then forward facing as long as possible. Easily wiped down. My kiddo seems comfy and happy.

My daughter loves this seat! It is so much more comfortable than her previous seat. She loves that it sits up higher, so she can see out of the windows. I love that the shoulder pads are attached to stay in place. No twisting! I also love the magnetic chest buckle that makes it so easy for me or my child to clip the buckle. I appreciate anything that makes it easier for me to buckle my child when I'm reaching into the third row of my van. The biggest downside of this seat is that it is large/wide. That's not a huge deal to me, though, because I've found that unless I'm using a specifically slimline seat, I can't fit three seats across anyway. I would recommend this seat. I received this seat as part of a promotion.

I have used several car seats in my attempts to find the perfect one and the Maxi-Cosi Pria Max is definitely in my top 2 along with the Nuna. I have tried the Maxi-cosi with both my infant and with my 5 year old. My five year old loves it. She says it's very comfy and that she prefers it over her previous one. With my infant, I love that it is so cushioned and seems to support her head so well. Her head doesn't flop around when she falls asleep, which is a major problem with most car seats. Also, I love that this car seat is so versatile. It works for newborns and grows with the child first as a rear facing seat and then eventually can be used for older kids that are forward facing. There are some amazing features that I had not realized I was missing. The quick fit shoulder harness is the best thing ever! It has harness holders on both sides to keep the straps out of the way when you're putting your baby in the seat. It's a game changer when you have a squirmy baby in tow! Also, the cushions on the straps are held in place and don't have to positioned higher or lower when you're loosening or tightening the straps. And honestly, the magnetic chest clip feature should be standard on all car seats! I can get her in and out of that seat with one hand and without fumbling and getting her arms all tangled in the straps. It makes my life easier while protecting my girls. What else can you ask for from a car seat?

This convertible car seat is really neat! It has two cup holders and has washable parts that can be removed easily to be washed. I like that it also has a button that you press to adjust the headrest and straps instead of having to pull in the belt itself. It seems very sturdy. It is both forwards and backward facing. My baby is 9 months now and I can see us using this car seat for a long time. It even came with the extra inserts for small infants. Had I known about this one I probably would have opted for this car seat first before getting my previous one.

I love the seat! We researched for hours and it's so hard to find a very safe seat that does it all and this one fits the bill. It's sturdy and feels like it's going to last though all the stages it'll be needed for. I love that you can have an infant all the way to booster. The fabric is really high quality and will be great for spot cleaning. It's huge though. As we think about growing the fam- I don't think 3 of these would fit in a row. Something to think about but for now perfect for our sweet girl and fits great in our Subaru. We love all Maxi Cosí products- always amazing quality.

This car seat was incredibly easy to use, from adjusting it prior to installation, to installation, and putting my child in and removing them. It also comes with a quick install guide which is nice (but still read the full manual!) The only minor downside is that it is quite large & bulky compared to some others on the market, which can be challenging especially when rear facing (and having tall parents).

We replaced the car seat in Grandma's car with this one and my 2.5 year old has rave reviews about how much more comfortable she is in it versus the cheap seat we used to have her in when she rode in Grandma's car. I feel much better about her riding in Grandma's car now too because this car seat appears to be much more secure than her old car seat, in addition to being much comfier for her little body!

What is not to love about a car seat that can grow with your baby?! I have two older kids and this would have been so amazing to have with them, I'm just thankful we have it now. The seat is easy to install, either forward facing or rear. It just takes a minute to adjust the straps in the right position. I love how much it tilts so that when your child is rear facing they aren't leaning forward with their head bobbing when they sleep...it's an issue that I'm so happy doesn't happen anymore. The headrest adjusts easily as well. This car seat is rated highly for collisions which will give any new parent peace of mind. You will be so happy with this purchase. Before trying out the Maxi-Cosi Pria Max All-In-One Convertible Car Seat, I had previously used the Chicco Keyfit 30 and the Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat. I was perfectly happy with both of those, but the Maxi-Cosi Pria Max All-In-One has some awesome features I didn't even realize I was missing out on with the KeyFit and Extend2Fit seats. The thing that most jumps out at me with this car seat is the magnetic chest clip. It nearly buckles itself. It makes getting a squirming baby safely secured much easier. The cushioning feels plush and comfy and I love how the comfort covers around the straps to protect baby's neck are actually connected to the rest of the car seat's fabric, rather than just wrapped around the seat belt. By this, I mean that when you tighten or loosen the straps, you don't have to also adjust the positioning of the cushions. They stay firmly in place. Installation was the same as any other car seat that uses a Latch system. The only thing this car seat could do better is accommodate extended height/weight ranges to keep baby facing rear longer. This isn't a deal breaker, but just something to keep in mind. This car seat tops out for rear facing at 40 lbs. while the Extend2Fit can continue on to 50 pounds. Overall, I'm very happy with this car seat!

Really have no complaints. We have a competitor car seat in our SUV and this one in our sedan. It fit just fine in our smaller car and install was super easy. The material is a bulky, comfortable but bulky. My favorite part is definitely the ease of getting my 18 month old buckled in. The straps don't get in the way and the chest clip is effortless going in and getting out. I have only used it for a few weeks but so far no complaints and we are happy with it!

So we currently use A Chicco car seat and we're excited about this even more expensive brand. Out the box it was significantly lighter and I thought, oh this is nice. The material itself seemed very nice: plush, soft, but not cheap. Then I saw lots of edges were frayed and in many areas the material wasn't enough to cover plastic edges of the frame. I tried to look past it and was eager to use it on our next Disney trip. We usually time the drive so the girls will nap on the way. We decided we would let out almost two year old use it. It never happened. First, It was very difficult to get the latch On right. Once we finally got it to where we were semi comfortable we put her in it. Then my husband asked why I changed the positron to 2. I told him I didn't change it. We wanted her in the most leaned back position so she could sleep without her neck falling over. Eventually we figured that it was still in setting 3, but once baby was sat in it the weight distribution was such that it moved to a different position. It took us a long waste of time to come to this conclusion that we didn't feel comfortable having her strapped into this for a nap, much less a drive. When we got our current car seat we immediately felt safe putting our daughter in it. So much that we own another for our second. It just felt flimsy. Would not recommend based on our experience. If it crunches to a whole different position just in securing it and putting baby in it, I cannot trust it in an unforeseen accident

This seat is huge and heavy so while it is great for keeping in one car, it is not good for switching between cars or for traveling. Luckily, I was not looking to travel with this. The initial setup was kind of daunting. There are so many parts since it is adjustable for so many different sizes of children. I really had to pay close attention to which parts were only used in each seat orientation. We didn't need any of the rear facing parts. We also did not use the lower buckle cushion because it makes it hard to get to the buckle. I like that the height of the straps is easily adjustable with the push of a button instead of having to try to thread things through and get them back on correctly. That makes it easier on my husband who never figured out how to do that on the seats we currently have. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this seat. I've tried it with both my 2 year old and my 4 year old and they both like it. Now I wish I had 2!

We absolutely love this car seat! It is comfortable for both of our children. Our very tall five year old likes to ride in it forward facing and our two year old was super comfortable in it rear facing! The seat meets all of our needs and on top of that it was super easy to install both forward and rear facing. We highly recommend this seat because it can be used with a little one and grow with them as they get bigger!

I got this car seat as for my other car for my son. He is 8 months old, so I have not used this for a newborn but I love that it can be used for newborns+. First impressions were great, it is very nicely padded and soft which I like. Nice, dark color and 2 cup holders. It is larger than my other convertible car seat, which may be an issue for fitting into smaller cars. I have a Kia optima and it fits but it's tight. Installation was a little hard, I had to have my husband help because I could not tighten it up once I latched it in. He had some issues with it too, but we got it after a while. My son likes it, and I'm happy to have a car seat that will grow with him! I did receive this in exchange for a review.

We received one Maxi-Cosi Pria Max All-In-One Convertible Car Seat as part of a promotion, and purchased a second one for our other twin. We were in the market for new car seats as our twins neared outgrowing the 40-pound capacity of the convertible car seats they were using. The Pria Max All-In-One was already on our short list. Once the promotional one arrived, we knew it was the right decision to invest in the same car seat for our other twin. To be thorough, I removed the cloth as one would to launder it, and found it very easy to remove and replace. The seat is heavy, so I expect it will be quite durable. The soft cushioning looks very comfortable. The twins enjoyed lounging in the seats indoors before we installed them in the car, so they found them comfy. It was exceptionally simple to adjust the shoulder straps to the appropriate height. Installation had about the same difficulty level as similar convertible car seats. We are very pleased to have seats that will work for our twins until they outgrow booster seats.

Out of the box its a great looking seat, very luxurious. Beautiful color, very soft & comfortable with plenty of room for my son to grow. The pads are great for when he falls asleep & his head is still able to stay secure. Easy to open & close & once installed with the latch system very secure. Also love the removable fabric for easy cleaning. Super happy with this seat, I definitely recommend!!

I replaced a different car seat with this one and I love how much easier it is to get my son into. He's tall for his age so the low sides are great! It is super tall too which we love for his size but does make it harder to see him in the mirror. Easy to install into the car. To tilt it, it's harder to do when rear facing but can be done if you tilt before installing. It's super cushy too!

As a mom of 4 I consider myself a carseat expert. I've gone through many carseats from all different brands. I can confidently say the Maxi-Cosi Priaâ"¢ Max All-in-One Convertible Car Seat is officially my favorite. Not only is it so pretty especially in the blue color it's very comfortable for my 2 year old who usually gives me a very hard time whenever I have to buckle her in the carseat. It was very easy to install and is literally one of the safest carseats around which is super important to me. Also comes with 2 cup holders which is great since we often go on road trips so my little one can store all her snacks and cups there. The seat is very spacious which is great cause as she grows it will grow with her. Highly recommend it.

Front facing over 40 lbs was a bit easier. Per instructions I fed adult lap belt through the car seat, buckle and tighten (also used the knee in seat method to apply weight while tightening). I washed the fabric in the washing machine and now it's falling apart my son had for less then a year I thought this would last 10 but I been searching for replacement fabrics no luck what am I supposed to do now im very upset and the cup holders keep falling out of the seat I did alot of research and spent alot of money I haven't washed his seat again because it will be nothing left I wipe it but it looks dirty I cover it but I need a better solution ugh please help.. I feel like I been tricked I watched videos and testimonials but it's to make a sale not because the product it great at first loved this now I regret it its hard to recline its tight and now it's dirty ......and hot my son sweats so much im not a happy customer at all...

With this car seat, I haven't had any issues. We had an uppababy baby mesa that my daughter hated so we switched to a pria max 3 in 1 rear facing and that solved all of our car ride woes. We love it so much we bought a second for our son, who won't be born for another 4 months. Some reviews have suggested it's difficult to tighten, my only real complaint is size. It's wide, it's takes a lot of space rear facing. It only fits in the middle seat in the back of our 2019 Mazda CX-5. But most car seats don't fit in our vehicle. The uppababy Mesa was no different.

1. This car seat looks amazing, BUT, its a workout to strap your baby in it. My kid hates it since its too tight. She feels claustrophobic. 2. The bottom buckle is not centrally aligned and that causes her to slouch. We are not able to make long drives with this. 3. The shoulder straps are stitched and so if your child is short there is no way to tighten the straps and baby can wriggle out easily. 4. The installation is traumatic. 5. Not easy to clean. 6. Material is too hot. My kid is always sweating even with a full AC. 7. The head rest is too bulky and is uncomfortable because of which. my baby cant sit upright. ITS A PAIN. 8. The headrest broke during installation and we are stuck now.

This is the third convertible seat we have used and it falls in between Nuna (top) and Evenflo (bottom). The first thing I noticed is how light the box is compared to other convertible child seats. The base is made of thin plastic and the back of the seat is exposed to minimize weight. This is good and bad. It certainly does not have the premium feel of other seats with a sturdy (albeit heavy) base and stylish closed back. As others have stated the seat ships in the box without any plastic covering it which is odd for what's considered a premium child seat. However, the material quality is nice and the seat is very plush. The magnetic clip works well but the straps require a hard tug to tighten. This is very difficult when the seat is rear-facing. I also had trouble with the recline feature. Even with the button pressed it wouldn't budge. I had to use my free hand to manually detach the bar under the base. This may be intended only when a child is seated but an issue nonetheless. Our other seats did not have any adjustment issues when unoccupied. I had no issues with the latch anchors, but miss the drawcords that other manufacturers use to detach easily. On sale, I see nothing wrong with this seat for the price, but other brands have more innovation where it matters. If you're looking for a comfortable seat at a reasonable price for the material quality this is a good choice but certainly not the best.

I'm having difficulty getting it in the recline position for a 3 month old baby. I removed it from the car and still was unable to recline. I spent a very hot, sweaty hour trying to figure it out and then couldn't tighten it enough. I can only get it into the upright position. I'm very frustrated with this car seat.

I love this seat. My son is very comfortable in it. The main issue that I have is that I took the seat cover off and when I went to put it back on I couldn't remember how some parts went like the piece that holds the straps up. I looked everywhere online for a video of how to put the seat together and couldn't find it so now it isn't on at all and I feel like that was one of the main reasons I bought this seat. If anyone knows how to put it back on or has a video please send it to me.

Only thing I Don't Like is magnetic buckle. Very hard to slide up. Ones I couldn't open and my baby was crying even almost cut off straps. I end up buying different buckle for a carseat.

We love the design and the comfortness that provides to the baby but the packaging really needs to be improved. The cars eat didn't have any plastic bag, wrapping protection or any cushion at all when we opened it. It just sit inside the cardboard box by itself and that's it. Installation guide and safety card were randomly thrown in the box. I understand that this will save lots of wastes, help the environment and it will not affect the safety of this car seat but I just don't feel like this is what a infant car seat should be in a parent's perspective. I am not sure how other Maxi-Cosi products packages are like but this one I had is definitely not okay for me.

I bought this for my daughter during her 18 months and she is very happy about it. She likes it so much where I need to change it from our second car to our everyday use car. However, there is a downside to it, which is not durable to wash even the tag says is machine washable. Machine washable was our initial thought of buying it because she is potting training now at 2 years old. I went back to the baby shop to check of getting a spare cushion because I can foresee, after a few more washes, the cushion will fall apart. However, the shop says that the cushion does not sell separately. I am from Malaysia, and please provide a viable solution since I only got the car seat for six months. Please contact me via email.

My third child that grew up sitting in a Maxi Cosi car seat. My newest is one years old and has never fallen asleep in the car. The first time she sat in the Pria Max 3 in 1...lights out. OMG.

We LOVE this car seat but after 3 weeks of use we took the cover off to wash and it ripped and fell apart in the wash. It shouldn't have come apart like this for its first removal and wash. Now I can't find a replacement cover and we only got to use for 3 weeks...disappointed.

Our little one has grown out of his infant car seat (different brand) and we recently received the Pria Max as a gift. Putting the seats side by side, the Pria looked much more comfortable than the infant seat. It's sturdy, soft and our 15 month old had no issues napping in it during a long car ride. Tightening the latch belt was a little difficult at first, BUT after getting the hang of it, I know it will be much easier if I ever need to install it in a different car.

I have had this car seat for my 2 year old for 4 months and have LOVED it, its super cushy and comfy for her. One of the reasons I bought this one was because they market that you can remove the seat cover and machine wash it. The second time I washed it, the seams on one side completely fell apart. I am so disappointed to spend this much money on a car seat to only have the cover completely fall apart.

We love this seat. It's super comfortable and we joke it's like a little lazy boy for my toddler. Also, very safe and easy to install. My biggest complaint is that in less than a year the seat cover is wearing out where her feat touch. She's not super aggressive but does move her feet around. Disappointed it's not a heavier fabric that can withstand toddler life.

Very comfortable but not safe in rear facing mode. Does not tighten as much as it should. Very loose when using the latch system and the seat belt. I love this car seat and wanted it to be safe, but I've decided to return it. As stylish and comfortable as it is, it's just not worth the risk of putting my child in danger with how loose it is. I bought it at Buy Buy Baby and will try to return it today.

This car seat is very comfortable and my son loves it. Its super easy to clean and I love the fact that my toddler can grow into it . It is also super easy to attach to my car and the straps stay out of the way when I'm trying to secure him into the car. So far I have no complaints.

As mom of two (4 year old and a 4 week old) - safety and ease of use are my top priorities. I LOVE that I can easily get my toddler in and out of the Pria. The one hand ClipQuick is so easy to use and the Out of the Way harness makes it easy to my get my energetic daughter in and out, even with a bulky coat. The cup holders are great for holding snacks, and they can be removed to get clean, but I do wish they were larger to fit a water bottle. The seat itself is as plush as can be, my daughter is very comfortable. And although the seat is expensive, my baby will also be able to use it ... making it a wise investment for years to come. Above all, the product is safe, my daughter's head is secure and we all find it easy to use! HIGHLY recommended.

I wanted to carseat so badly and I'm honestly super depressed after ordering because the site I used doesnt offer free shipping on refunds which would be half the price of the car seat. I received it today and tried my little one in it a million different ways and the crotch buckle is so short and the straps go low on each side that they did into her legs. And the actually bucks digs into her inner thighs. Shes 21 months and 20 pounds. The car seat is comfy and plush but hard to tighten and very large. I LOVE the QUICK clip. But honestly this car seat should be recalled.

We had high hopes for this car seat. The sales lady told us she had two and loved them so taking her advice we bought it. We must have gotten a lemon or dud because this car seat is terrible. We can't undo the magnetic clip very easily like the store model. Tightening up the straps is impossible. I was given the Pris Max 3 in 1 convertible carseat as part of the weeSpring parent panel. We are very happy with it. My daughter loves the cup holders and the seat is cushy without being too soft. I particularly like that the fabric is removable to wash. At first I really didn't like the magnetic chest buckle but quite like it now that I am used to it. I also like that the straps are easily adjusted even while the child is seated in the carseat. My daughter was able to maneuver herself out of the restraint straps when having a tantrum which I was not pleased by and she often wraps her foot on the outside of the seat which may be a function of the shape or cupholders but overall I like the seat.

We received the Maxi Cosi 3-in-1 to review as part of the weeSpring parent panel. The first impression when we opened the box was that the fabrics on the seat were really luxe! They looked great and, more importantly, felt great too! We were also impressed by how solid the car seat was. Our current car seat, which is part of a travel system, looks kinda tiny in comparison. The 3-in-1 has a host of great features. I love the dual cup holders and the fact that they twist out so easily for washing is fantastic. Easily removable fabric covers are another big plus - blowouts happen! It takes a second to master the magnetic chest harness, but once you do, it's easy to use. Now if only someone could do something about the clip-in harness. (In fairness, I have yet to come across a car seat that has both easy and secure clip ins!) It was also incredibly easy to adjust the seat to fit my LO. It took a little longer to work the latch system for installation. My LO was very comfortable in the seat. I think this would be perfect for long car rides and road trips. And of course, we love that this car seat will last throughout my LO's childhood. Although we received the 3-in-1 for free in exchange for our honest review, the price may have given us pause. But when you think about what the cost per use I will be, it's a great deal. For day to day use, as long as our LO needs the car seat-plus-stroller configuration in our travel system, it will be more convenient to use the travel system car seat. After that, it's all about the 3-in-1!

I recently received the Maxi Cosi Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat as part of the weeSpring parent panel, and I am so thrilled with its performance thus far! It brings a lot of useful, new, unique features to the world of car seats. As a mom of a 3 1/2-year-old and a newborn, safety is my number one priority with convenience being a close second. The car seat was so easy to install that I tried it out with both my kids in their required positions. It's a no-brainer for toddlers and up (so easy for them to get in and out) and the infant support pillows provided great support for my tiny newborn, though I wish the seat had a few more recline positions. I love how this seat grows with your child so you really only need one car seat for all your child's car seat/booster years! There is significant padding and protection around the head area (so important to me), and the magnetic chest clip can be released with one hand (as a mom, I am all for any task that can be taken care of even when you have just one free hand available!). My favorite feature though is the flip away buckle, which keeps the harness straps out of the way when getting your child in and out of the seat. This is such a smart, useful feature and it has made all the time spent getting in and out of the car that much quicker. As a plus, the seat is made of a beautiful performance fabric. It's super soft and washes well. My one concern about it is how badly it may pill over time, so I'm curious to see how it holds up. Overall, a great seat that grows with your child (and you!) as you navigate the "car seat years" with great convenience features, all while providing the ultimate level of comfort and protection for your sweet babies.

Spring assist is life!! I will hate using our baby carseat again (if I ever do) because I hate fighting with the straps and the "springs" make it so much easier! My little was 10 months when we were given this awesome seat through the WeeSpring Parent Panel so we never got to use the infant inserts but they felt awesome, soft material and just squishy enough for comfort. The material on the seat is soft, it appears like it will hold up well for washing's but thankfully I have not had to do it yet. The magnetic chest closure is great, it's taken a little while to get use to but I love it. I had to teach my husband how to use it but now that he finally got it he loves it too. Right now she isn't keeping drinks in the cup holders but she puts her toys there, I like that I can take them out and wash them. We have to drive an hour to get to town and my little girl thankfully appears to like the seat as well. She has more room to get comfortable than her baby seat and she LOVES that she is able to see out of the window a little bit more. It's not really a flaw of the seat but compatibility with smaller cars. I have a sedan and rear facing does not give a lot of space. This is the first convertible care seat I've used so no comparison but it is not ergonomically comfortable to get my little in and out of the car. Again not a fault of the seat but just a warning to those with sedans or smaller.

The Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat has been the perfect transition from our infant car seat. The fabric is soft and the seat is plushly padded. I love how comfortable it feels and the baby falls asleep in it most of the time. It was ready to install out of the box. My installation required an extra set of hands and tightly rolled towel to get it the proper recline. Overall, it was easy once I had what I needed. The magnetic chest clip is genius! So easy to get on and off. It makes getting a fussy baby into the seat a breeze. Just put both pieces over each other and they snap together. This car seat is the equivalent to a high end sports car with all the bells and whistles. To start the seat is very easy to install, two clicks of the latch system and one hard pull on the belt and the seat is secured to your car. Getting a baby in and out is just as easy as the installation with the flip away buckle that stays on the side of the car seat. My favorite feature of this seat is the magnetic chest clip, I originally didn't think it would be that big of a deal, until I was able to buckle my baby in with just one hand. The chest clip just comes together at the correct spot automatically. Once baby is in the seat I know he is comfortable with the added baby snug cushions, they are so soft, because he usually falls asleep in this car seat pretty fast. No crying baby in the back seat for me. The fabric for the whole seat is a nice neutral grey color that blends well with the rest of my car, it also feels nice and not scratchy. It's great to see all of the added safely features that I hope I never have to depend on but if I do, I know my baby will be protected with the best. This car seat really surprised me with its real easy chest buckle. I LOVE the fact that I can easily lock and unlock the chest buckle with just one hand. I have experienced some difficulties in the past with different brands' car seats but it was different with this new innovative car seat feature. I really like all the extra cushions for my little one. The fabric is so soft and luxurious. I hope they come out with more colors as my mom friends are asking about it. The best part is that I can use it for my infant and for my toddler. Since I have gotten it, I have been recommending this awesome car seat to my mom friends, and definitely would recommend it to anyone who is looking for the perfect long lasting and safe car seat!

We received the car seat as part of the weeSpring parent panel. We have been using it for about three weeks for our one year old daughter. Our daughter is small for her age. It was easy to feed the buckle receptacle through a different hole to fit her. The shoulder pads provide nice cushion, but are a little big for her small frame. The car seat was easy to install in a small economy car. It was too large to install in the middle seat without affecting the driver seat, but fit nicely behind the passenger seat. Leveling it using the drawn line on the side of the seat was easy, but we wish it had built-in bubble levels. The airy foam was thick and nice and felt barely warm to the touch even after sitting in the sun for the day.

This car seat is by far the most innovative and easy to use car travel product that we have owned. Not only was installation a breeze, its extremely lightweight in comparison to other car seats we have tried. I was highly impressed by the attention to detail when it comes to safety features and the added components of the seat make it a parent's dream. It has a magnetic chest clip that made getting baby in and out a breeze. We did fully adjust the seat to accommodate our toddler for testing purposes. It was so easy to transition, taking less than five minutes in totality. We have yet to remove the cover for cleaning, but I don't see any issues arising. On that note, the comfort of this car seat is unparalleled. It is extremely cushioned for extra comfort and extra padding removed quickly when we transitioned it to our older child. Full disclosure -- I received this Infant Car Seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel to review. Short of being exposed to the maxi cosi stroller system which my sister in law had for her kids, it was my first time using a maxi cosi product. The seat was super easy to install (only took a few minutes). I have a toddler and a five month old. As my five month old has severe reflux issues we tried him out in the convertible seat with the infant inserts (convertible car seats hold refluxy babies in a more comfortable position than the c positioning common to infant carriers). The straps were relatively easy to adjust once we got him in (headrest wasn't much of a concern because he's little). I have bad carpal tunnel so the magnetic clip and flip away buckles were a plus for me, I didn't have to fuss with them much. The infant inserts are nice and plush. I also really liked the low sides of the seat, as I didn't have to hoist him up and over to get him comfortably in the seat. I've had to wipe off spit up a couple of times already (the joys of reflux!) and the fabric has wiped clean relatively easily. Overall a great buy for the money, easy to use and install. I'm a fan!

The Pria Max 3in1 car seat was super easy to install using the LATCH system. My favorite features are the harness straps and chest clip. The harness straps stay up and out of the way so you can more easily put your child in the seat - such an awesome feature! And the chest clip is magnetic! You just put the top portion over the bottom portion of the chest clip and it clicks together in a second - it's made our morning dash to pre-k just that much faster and simple! I also really love the cup holders - first, there's two of them so you can stash toys or a snack in one, drink in the other. They're also close enough for your kid to actually reach what's in them. Our daughter is really petite and in her old seat, she wasn't able to reach the cup holder. This seat has made car rides a lot easier (and more focused for me!) without her asking me to hold her cup every time she wants to put it back in the cup holder. I'm really glad this seat comes with extra safety features too. We moved our oldest daughter from the center seat to a side seat when our second was born, so I feel better with this seat having the extra side impact protection. The fabric and finishes on the seat are also really nice and comfortable, and I love that it's both easy to remove and machine washable. As a mom to two kids, 2 years old and 2 months old, I feel pretty confident that I can tell a good car seat from a bad one. I thoroughly enjoyed trying out the Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car seat. My favorite feature was the convienence. With two young children, I often have my hands full, luckily this car seat makes it wary to get my children in and out. I also enjoyed how easy it was to install and adjust for different ages. Both of my children seemed to really enjoy sitting in this seat and it was easy to configure it for each of their ages/weights. Compared to some other convertible car seats I have used, this installation was easy and I was confident that we had done it correctly and my kids would be safe. Finally, I love how easy it was to remove and wash the cover because my two year old may be the messiest kid around.

I received this car seat as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and I couldn't have been MORE excited. I just welcomed my second little one, and have used only Maxi Cosi with my first, so I was thrilled to try out their latest and greatest. This car seat did not disappoint, my 2 year old got to preview his younger sister's new seat before her arrival and it was super easy to adjust to fit him, and to set it back to the newborn size after he was done trying it out. I was SO excited that this car seat had two cup holders (one for beverage, one for snacks/toys/pacifier, etc.), which made it easier for him to always have his needs at hand. I found it very intuitive to change the position to front-facing, as well as all the strap settings and headrest. Before my newborn's arrival, I did remove the cover to wash it and was pleased to see that the fabric stayed in brand new condition, and the process of removing/reattaching was simple and intuitive (even my husband could do it!) Since I'm now the proud parent of two small children and two cars, I was also happy to discover that installing/reinstalling to switch cars was also a smooth process. A final reason I will continue to choose Maxi Cosi that held true for this car seat, was the comfort for my kids-- I have seen that they are cushioned enough to be perfectly comfortable, and the fabric helps them stay cool/warm according to the season. I am so happy that I never have to worry that they are overheating or sticking to the fabric. Very happy I have a car seat my littles can use for years to come, and I can be confident they will be safe for all the rides along the way! If you want a car seat that balances comfort, safety and functionality, I absolutely recommend looking into this car seat for your next purchase-- infant or toddler, you won't regret it.

I received this item as part of the weeSpring parent panel. We received this seat just in time as we were looking to transition our 11 month old out of his infant seat. He had figured out how to undo the chest clip in his old seat, but so far he hasn't been able to figure this one out, so that's a plus in my book! Other pros: love the fabric- feels very plush and soft; easy to get him in and out - the buckles aren't tricky like some other seats and I love the flip away buckles. Cons- it's a little large- we have a large SUV so it's not an issue, but we did use it in other vehicles and it was tight in a car or smaller SUV; installation was a little difficult - really had to put a lot of weight behind it (and 2 people) to get it tight enough, and I would appreciate some level indicators. Overall a good seat and we will continue to use!

I received this Infant Car Seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel. It's large and sits up high even backward facing. I noticed it more when I looked to my back right in my blind spot that the old seat I had been using, so be aware if your car is on the smaller side. I drive an Equinox and have the seat in the middle of the backseat. The width of the carseat is nice because DD has plenty of room, and it doesn't feel like threading a needle to get her in and out. She also loved the view sitting just a bit higher and being able to see out of the windows better. The absolute best parts of this seat are the harness features. The magnetic chest clip comes together and apart very easily, and the button to release the straps is so easy to push. No more fighting to get the straps loose! I even got my daughter out while sleeping which doesn't usually happen, so this release button is magic. I took the cover off just to see how it works and got it back on no problem. Installation was pretty easy, had to read the instructions, but it only took about 10 minutes. There are a few options for adjustment, but not endless options, which I think is better because sometimes more is just too much to think about! Overall, I'm really happy with the ease of use of this seat, and thrilled that my daughter is safe above all else.

I love the fabric and color, the buckle which will keep my kid from unbuckling it himself, and the magnetic harness which keeps it open. I hate my infant car seat because I constantly reach under to grab the straps. We've only had this for a couple of weeks but it's much more comfortable with the cushioning too. My only complaint is the size, which is a tight fit in my Honda CR-V.

My baby is currently three months old and has been using this seat for about three weeks. My favorite feature of this car seat is the different reclining positions. It can be sat up straight or slightly tilted while my baby is awake or it can be completely reclined while my baby is sleeping so that he is comfortable no matter the occasion. Installation was very easy to complete - not any harder than any other car seat. The harness and headrest were very easy to use as well. I had no problems getting my infant in and out of this car seat. I was able to adjust the headrest slightly as needed. The magnetic chest clip is fantastic - very convenient and requires little effort. I also loved the fabric of this seat. Very soft and my baby seems to be quite comfortable every time he's in it. I honestly haven't really found anything that I don't like about this car seat.

I received the Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat as part of the weeSpring parent panel and what an awesome convertible car seat. The car seat is neutral colored black and grey and soft and comfortable. My husband installed the car seat with in minutes both rear facing for our 2 month old and forward facing for our 2 year old. This car seat is extremely easy to convert and adjust the harness and headrest. Plus my sons both rode safe in their different positions. My 2 year old especially likes that he can reach snacks in the cups. This is a great looking, functional, and very safe car seat.

i received the pria 3-in-1 convertible carseat as part of the weeSpring parent panel. it's a fantastic looking carseat and has many bells and whistles that i very quickly have come to appreciate. the "ez-out"/"flip away" buckles on the harness are a happy upgrade from our other carseats - no more bunching/pulling/tugging/wrist-bending to get in and out. i am super pumped that it converts into a booster seat so that is one less that i have buy later on - my children are 3m, 2yr & 4yr so we need LOTS of carseats and then will also need multiple boosters as they grow. i also found the install relatively easy/comparable to other carseats (i.e. all i can hope for!) and suspect i'll have no trouble washing the fabric when the time inevitably comes (haven't yet tried, small miracle). i want to love and find the cupholders functional, but my kids don't care about them as much as i'd like (i.e. cups still end up on the floor, each other...) i also can't give it a 5 star rating bc i need a narrow carseat to fit three across. i also need a carseat that doesn't necessarily need to use latch technology given the 3-across conundrum. would gladly lose the cupholders for a narrower seat! thanks weespring parent panel and maxi-cosi for the chance to try a product that can grow with your child/family - our favorite!!

I HATED this seat! I received it as a test from the WeeSpring Parent Panel and was so excited to get a convertible car seat to try, but I hated it! it was impossible to install rear facing (the lever you use to adjust the angle of the seat is under the front of the seat) and there were so many pieces to the infant insert that I couldn't figure out-I just hated it! I was also unable to install it quickly and I have two kids under two, I am good at installing car seats! It also felt big and bulky and it would be impossible to clean!

Wow! I received this car seat as part of the wee Spring Parent Panel and it's amazing! It's made of high quality material that is very cozy for our little one and has some great safety features! It's very easy to use and adjust for children of different ages. Which means you only have to buy one car seat! I loved the flip away buckles. No one wants to fidget with a baby in one hand and buckles in the other. The headrest adjusts with a quick pull. The magnetic chest clip is also a plus. Highly recommend this carseat. The feel and look is close to high end brands.

I received the Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible car seat through the wee spring parent panel and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with this car seat. I enjoyed how easy it was to remove the fabric and wash everything. My daughter sometimes get worked up and easily throws up, it's difficult trying to take multiple pieces apart to wash the fabric and clean out the seats and this Pria Max made it simple with only having to remove a few items. I like that the fabric is moisture wicked (this is huge bonus), the fabric is top notch premium material and after it was washed it felt the same way. I love the ease of the adjustable headrest, and is easily adjustable using one hand which is crucial for me, my daughter has been having growth spurts and it seems to accommodate her height perfectly. I like LOVE the magnetic chest strap features, it was really thought through and it is extremely easy to use! The straps stay out of the way when I am putting my daughter in and with a pull of the strap it tightens easily, I would have liked to see a loop at the end of the strap to stick your finger in to pull it, but nonetheless it was still easy to tighten and secure my daughter. Over all my daughter seems happier in this car seat, we tested her out in the living room before we put it in the car and she sat quietly and content strapped in, when we put her in the car she was very relaxed and comfortable and fell asleep instantly. I look forward to my daughter growing with this car seat into the next stage.

It's loaded with safety features and is a very comfortable ride for my child--everything you'd expect from a high-end car seat. I absolutely love the double cup holders. Why don't these come standard with every car seat?! Kids inevitably want a drink and a snack in the car and end up having to juggle one on the car seat because there's only one cup holder. Not a problem with this car seat! What I love most about it though is the ease of use. It was easy to install and easy to adjust. The harness and headrest adjust by pushing a slider upwards or downwards--no need to remove the car seat fabric and loop shoulder straps through slots. The only con of this car seat is that it's wide--this is not a good choice if you need to squeeze multiple car seats in your car.

We love this car seat! Our little one seems to really enjoy it. He doesn't cry when I put him in it like our other car seat. He also gets very hot and has left sweat stains in our other car seat and I haven't noticed that in this car seat. I love that it has 2 cup holds and that it holds the harness out of the way. It was super easy to install especially if your somewhat familiar with installing car seats. We love that it will last many years for our son! The Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat is one of the simplest convertible car seats I have ever used! Installation was a breeze, the latch system was simple to use and the clips were easy to unbuckle as well. From the magnetic chest clip to the flip away buckles, this seat is one of a kind. It is extremely light weight compared to the competition. I sampled the product on both a 11 month old and a 3 year old. The straps were incredible easy to adjust when switching between the two children. The headrest was a little difficult but its all about the proper angle and leverage. I'm short with a big vehicle so I needed to stand on the side to get the head support raised. The one handed chest clip made exiting more convenient when trying to get two children out of the car. The fabric is incredible soft and comfortable. On top of that, spills were no problem at all! The fabric wipes away nicely. We have 2 dogs and a cat so pet hair is always following and it wiped away very easy as well. This is my favorite seat I have tried and I have purchased three other brands. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a convertible car seat. I will be purchasing a second one for use on my 3 year old! As a mom of 3 kids 7 and under, I've tried quite a few car seats as they have grown. So, when it came time to upgrade the littlest child one to a convertible car seat I knew what I wanted. Soon after looking for a car seat, weeSpring Parent Panel offered to send me the brand new Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat in exchange for a review. Since the car seat theoretically checked most of my boxes I decided to give it a try. When I first pulled it out of the box I noticed the cushy seat and fabric. It seemed like it should be comfortable. Next, I looked at the functionality. It appeared to be easy to adjust and simple enough to install. I was not disappointed. I installed the seat in under 5 minutes. The recline function was easy and smooth to use and simple to have set at correct position to be rear facing. The LATCH system clicked right and was easy to tighten. Once installed, I tried adjusting the fit for my daughter. I found the QuickFit shoulder harness slid up and down seamlessly making it quick and easy to get the right fit. The seat also included the ClipQuik chest clip, which is a magnetic chest clip that makes for quick no-fuss buckling. It was easy enough to use but didn't make getting in and out of the seat significantly easier. This car seat gets an A+ for installation, ease of use and functionality. There were a few things I didn't love. First, I didn't like the bulkiness. It took up a lot of room and I had to slide the passenger seat up to fit it. Second, I hated the way the back looked and felt. When I looked and touched the seat from the back it reminded me of a lower end car seat. This surprised me since I have had other maxi cosi car seats. Third, the cup holders are significantly undersized. I grabbed a sippy cup and confirmed that no kids cup will fit in these cup holders. Overall, after using the seat I liked it okay. There is a lot to love in the way of convenience. If you need a car seat to be easy to use this one checks all the boxes!

I have really loved having this car seat for my two year old. She is super difficult to get in the car and the magnetic chest clip and flip away buckles make getting her in the seat a lot easier. With this 3 in 1 carseat you can use it for many years! The rear facing position can hold babies from 4-40lbs. The forward facing position can hold children from 22-65lbs. The Belt positiong booster can hold children from 40lns to 100lbs and no longer need a booster seat. I installed this carseat in my SUV and was able to use the one click latch connectors within seconds. I also tried to install this carseat in my car but wasnt as successful because of the size of the carseat when in the rear facing position. This carseat has 3 reclining positions to make sure the child is sitting properly and comfortable. The carseat material is very soft and comforting to touch. With babies there are inserts to keep the baby sitting up positions correctly with the straps. One of the great things about this carseat is how easy it is to remove the fabric and inserts to wash because babies can be messy and I dont like spending a whole lot of time trying to figure out how to put the carseat back together. The cup holders are also recoverable and dishwasher safe to clean and keep the carseat looking clean and new. Safety is the most important concern when picking a carseat. The ClipQuick is a neat safety clip on the chest that allows you to remove toy child from the seat with one hand. To use the ClipQuik place your hand behind the clip and press and slide apart. I'm in love with a car seat...trust me, those are words I never thought I would say! Between having two kids and three cars that need seats (our two cars plus our nanny's), we have bought A LOT of carseats. I generally consider them my least favorite baby purchase--kids hate getting in them and I hate setting them up and installing them--but this is the Priya Max 3-in-1 is a game-changer. From the moment I took this carseat out of the box, it took less than 10 minutes to full set up and orient myself to it. Unlike other brands, where you practically need a Ph.D. in Engineering to figure them out, the Priya is a breeze to adjust. There are three recline options, an easy pull-up headrest, and easy to thread crotch strap. Installation was similarly easy. I chose the seatbelt option, but the seat has a LATCH option as well. The real magic comes when you put baby inside of it. The Flip Away harness is what dreams are made of. No fishing the straps from behind a grumpy or sleeping baby, the harness springs open, making loading and unloading easy peasy. And the magnetic chest clip is equally outstanding for loading baby up. The fabric is soft and luxurious and the cup holders twist out for easy cleaning. Most importantly, this carseat has great safety ratings. Though I hope we never have to test out this feature, I am confident knowing that there is extra padding around my daughter's head. This car seat has really premium fabric and comfort. I tried this car seat with a 10 month old as well as a 6 year old and they were both very comfortable. In most other car seats, my main issue used to be fishing the buckles out from beneath the child making the child very uncomfortable and also used to take a lot of time. Maxi cosi has fixed that with a very simple solution - a spring assisted crotch buckle pad which fans out as soon as it is unbuckled. There are clips on either side to hold the shoulder straps. The magnetic chest lock also helps in quick strap in. The lower LATCH also deserves a special mention. The red clips make unbuckling the LATCH a piece of cake. I was asked to review the car seat as part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel. When I received it, I could not believe how they fit all of the features needed for the next 10 years into one car seat! My favorite part hands down are the flip away buckles. This should become an industry standard. It eliminates the issue we all have of putting the child into the car seat without losing a strap or two behind them. Amazing! It's the little details like that on this car seat that I appreciate in this versatile seat. The fabric is really nice and the buttons are easy to use to recline the seat, or adjust the headrest height. Overall I think this car seat will be a huge win for our family.

This carseat is great for my petite 6 month old! I'm able to remove padding as needed, which has been awesome. I removed the head support padding but kept the lower padding. The buckles are super easy to do one handed as they use a sliding motion. Every cloth part is removable and washable. My absolute only complaint is that it's a little snug with my other 2 carseats. My toddler loves the Maxi Cosi 3-in-1 convertible carseat! The fabric is super comfy and soft to the touch. The magnetic chest clip is a great feature: my toddler loved the click and I wasn't worried that he could unclip it. The car seat is easy to adjust and I felt like my toddler had a great fit. I thought I had it at the right height before I went to install it, but I realized that it needed to be higher when he got into it in the car. The harness is also very easy to pull for the desired tightness. I think my favorite feature of this car seat is the easy to get to cup holders! My toddler has had a difficult time using cup holders in other convertible seats, but these were well within his reach. I love that the cup holders are detachable and can go right into the dishwasher! The fabric came off easily to wash; it was also not difficult to put the fabric back on to the carseat without having to pull the manual back out. The only drawback to this carseat was installation: I had followed the directions in the manual (which has a lot of information and is well laid out) but the car seat still moved back and forth more than it should. I had to have it installed with a car seat professional before I would have my child use it. I have had all of my car seats professionally checked, so this wasn't a huge issue, but something to keep in mind before use. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to test the Pria Max 3-in-1 convertible car seat as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I'd heard of the brand before but we'd selected a Chicco system for our infant/stroller setup, and therefore hadn't checked out Maxi-Cosi until receiving this car seat. I've tested it for a few weeks now and love the look and feel of the seat, and its ease of use and thoughtful features. And my young daughter likes it, too! It feels like they were thinking of ease of use and comfort for both child and parent when they were designing this seat, and that is much appreciated. I like that we'll be able to use it for quite a while, as well - my daughter is on the smaller side, so it feels like we'll have many years of use. We found the seat to be very easy to install (especially since we'd had practice!) and love, love the magnetic chest clip and flip away buckles. The buckles on our old system were always getting in the way of putting her in the seat comfortably on the first pass (not a huge problem, but once you don't have to deal with it anymore, you realize how annoying it was). We'd also tested a lot of other car seats while traveling (and reserving with the rental car company) and one of the biggest gripes we'd had with those was how tough it was to adjust the straps easily. And after using this Pria seat, it just highlights how much easier to use this one is than many others on the market. Most importantly, my daughter feels and looks safe in this seat. There's adequate cushioning to keep her comfortable and I am confident she's as well protected as she can be. I also really like the cup holders, as she's getting much more independent and always likes to have a snack and drink at hand! I feel lucky to have had a chance to test this seat. As a first-time parent, it was hard to figure out which equipment/gear to buy, as there are so many options and you don't know exactly what to look for in your first rodeo. This is a winner!

We just had our first baby and safety is top of mind for us. We've done a lot of research and this seat has many upgraded safety features in comparison to other brands. The fabric is plush and soft - I had no worries wondering if my 2-month-old was comfortable. The magnetic chest clip is a nice touch and the harness and headrest are very easy to adjust. I love that it can go from 4lbs to 100lbs, making it the only car seat we need! On the downside, my husband and I had a hard time installing it in our car. It was difficult to tell if it was level, and being new parents, we would have liked it to have a better system than eyeballing it. We have a new favorite car seat! Thank you #weespringparentpanel for providing us with this car seat to review. My son is almost two, and he took to the seat right away. He especially liked the two cupholders, which he uses as toy storage! There are so many great features on this car seat. It has a magnetic chest clip that makes it easy to unhook one-handed, and the harness is spring assisted, so the straps stay slightly popped when no one is in the seat, which prevents me from setting him directly on top of the straps every time he gets in the seat and having to dig for them. Straight out of the box, the car seat looks massive; however, even at 8 months pregnant, I was able to get it into the car and install it without difficulty. Adjusting the headrest and harness was also easy and quick. My only suggestion is that I would prefer an actual bubble level rather than just a line to indicate whether or not the seat is positioned correctly for rear-facing, especially if you have a newborn rider. Obviously, it is great that this seat transitions with my child from 4 lbs to 100 lbs and features side impact protection. Like the rest of the seat, the added pads for smaller children are soft and made in a comfortable, easy to clean fabric. Overall, we are impressed with this car seat and highly recommend it for those in the market for a convertible car seat.

When I received the Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat from weeSpring Parent Panel I was so excited to see that it could be used for an infant. We just brought our third child home from the hospital and unlike his sisters he hated his car seat. As we went to install the seat I realized that I would have to take him in and out every time we used it rather than using a carrier car seat. Having to do this with two other children did not sound enjoyable so we decided to use it for our four and six year old. The first thing we did was play with the harness system. I loved the idea of the ClipQuik auto-magnetic chest clip and flip away buckle. It was so easy for my girls to get into the car seat but getting out was very difficult. Unfortunately they couldn't get themselves out of the seat which for us is actually a downfall. My four and six year old can get themselves out of their current car seat which has been helpful since I am usually busy getting our infant out first. I have had friends who's children unbuckle themselves while they are driving and I would 100% recommend this car seat to them to overcome this problem. I decided to use the car seat mainly as a booster for my six year old. She was thrilled to try it out because she has been begging for a booster but I am very strict about car seats and wanted to make sure we found a safe one. As soon as we got it installed, which was super easy, I felt completely comfortable with the booster. She sits up high and the belt fits her little body perfectly. The one downfall is that she can't buckle herself in because of the height of the car seat. My absolute favorite part of the car seat are the two cup holders; especially since they are attached. My girls always have toys, water, snacks, etc. that they want to keep close to them and without cup holders everything overflows on the the seats. The two cup holders has helped contained the mess. Overall the quality and extra features are top notch but weren't what we needed.

he Maxi cosi pria max convertible car seat is lovely. To start, the cushions and fabric are buttery soft. They're actually cushioned too. The seat is well put together and you can tell a lot of thought went into it. It's comfortable and convenient which is every parents dream. It handles different colors but they're very modern. The strap covers are built into the seat so they don't slide around or come off. Those things get lost easily when your child figures out how Velcro works. The easy 1 handed check clip is a lifesaver. It's different than anything I've ever used before so it took a quick minute to adjust. But the one handed feature really comes in handy because parents don't have enough hands. The cup holder is pure magic. It's removable silicone and dishwasher safe. Those things get nasty even when you don't use them and it's hard to fit your big hand in to clean it. They thought things through when they made this seat. The only issues I ran into was the head adjustment, when sliding it up and down to adjust the straps and height. It was a bit of a struggle for me. It took 2 hands, big pulls, and a lot of wiggling. My daughter is tall so it was a struggle to adjust it for her. Other than that it was an easy transition to test it with both my front facing toddler and rear facing toddler. It fit in both cars, my Mazda CX-9 and my husbands VW atlas. I received this car seat from the weespring parent panel to test and leave an honest review. I recieved this car seat for free from the weeSpring Parent panel. The fabric is so soft and feels really comfortable! We didn't have to use the infant insert but they are also made of really great quality fabric. The magnetic clip and easy out harness are my favorite feature. It really does make it so much easier to get your baby in and out! It was also really easy to install, and that is something I find with all of the Maxi Cosi products I own. I would 100% recommend if you're looking for a car seat to take you from the infant size to toddler age. Both my 6mo old and my 20mo old could fit in it easily with adjustments made for their age/size.

I received this car seat as part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel. This carseat hasn't had much use yet as I am currently using our portable carseat that attaches to the stroller for my daughters first couple months but am hoping to switch over to it permanently here soon (once baby can hold her head up and it's easier getting her in and out). It is much more cushioned than my sons Graco carseat and much easier to tighten down. It does seem pretty large, which gives my tall husband less room to scoot his seat back (we have a toddler too, so 2 carseats in the back). So far we love it though and can't wait to use it more.

Living in an area that requires driving to run daily errands means I am in need of a carseat for my toddler that is easy to use without losing any of the safety features a mom wants in something that holds her precious cargo. Enter the Maxi Cosi 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat. This seat has been a dream! To start, I didn't have to call my husband to come put a little extra muscle into the installation, a common scene in the past. I was able to get it snapped in and tightened to the suggested tightness on the first time, so I was impressed right off the bat. The set up for the seat itself was simple and it is easy to adjust as your child grows. The fabric on this seat is extremely soft and the cover is easy to get off and on to throw into the wash. There are two cupholders that lock into place so my toddler cannot just pull them out and throw them. My favorite feature on this seat is hands down the magnetic chest clip. I have two young kiddos so I can be holding my younger child and get my older child unbuckled with one hand. It also makes getting my toddler into the car a breeze, even when fighting the occasional toddler tantrum because I can just flip the chest clip on instead of the added struggle of getting it clipped. When he gets a little older it will be easy for him to do himself as well! I love that this seat grows with my child and I won't have to look for another seat between now and my child outgrowing a carseat/booster. I have been using the Pria Max 3-n-1 convertible car seat for about a month now with my 1 year old. My favorite feature thus far with the car seat has got to be the magnetic chest clip. Its such a great feature to have because it allows you to open the chest clip one handed which ( all lot of moms can appreciate) My second favorite feature is the removable cup holders! you just unscrew them and you are able to wash them more often since they are so easy to screw and unscrew. The car seat was a little bit challenging to instal when it came time to tighten the strap to on the anchors. Otherwise everything else was breezy. The safety features on this car seat are fantastic, i have a relatively petite child and extra padding around the head and through out the car seat for the body support are greatly appreciated and makes me feel at ease knowing my kid is well protected inside of the car seat. The harness is easy to adjust along with the head rest with one button adjustments on both things. The slip away buckles that come with this car seat are helpful to have however as a busy parent, it is time consuming to put the buckles in place to keep them in position. The Pria Max car seat has great fabric that seems to be easy to clean. Its very soft and sleek however i do find that it gets a little hot in the head rest area. When I have taken my kid out at time I find there to be some sweat spots on the fabric where the head rests. I was able to remove parts of the seat cover and found them to come off without a hassle and they clean off easily. All in all, I find this car seat to be high in quality and would recommend it to my friends and family. I only buy car seats that grow with kids because I like products to last a significant amount of time and this car seat is a great mix of high quality, function, and endurance. This car seat is great! It looks comfortable and both my 4 and 1 year old like it. It's easy to install and to adjust. I love that the harness straps don't get stuck under my son. The magnetic chest lock took a couple tries to unlock but now it is so easy to use. An added bonus is that kids can lock it themselves (if you have an independent child like my 4 year old) but they can't unlock it! The removable, machine washable cover and cup holders are great too. The Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat takes car seats to the next level! It was extremely easy to install both front and rear facing in my SUV using the latch connectors. It was snug and secure on the first try without the need for any crazy tugging or pulling. I did not even need to make adjustments to my seat back angle or headrest. It was very simple to adjust the harness and headrest to meet the needs of both of my children who are ages 3 and 1. The magnetic chest clip is a feature I have never seen before, but now I don't know how I lived without it. My three year old can clip the magnetic chest clip herself which she enjoys and I am able to easily open it with one hand. Considering my hands are usually full, this is a huge bonus! The flip away buckles save time by being out of the way and eliminate the wrestling match that can ensue when trying to get a grabby child into their car seat. The fabric of this seat is very luxurious and satiny smooth. Other car seats' fabrics do not even compare. It was very easy to remove and reinstall the car seat fabric as well. I usually dread having to put the car seat fabric back on because it can be difficult, but with this seat it was a breeze. The fact that this seat is able to grow with my children is one of my favorite features as I would rather invest in a high-end long-term product. The side impact protection is second to none and I know my children are safe and secure which is one less thing for me to worry about. I have never had any other car seat that offers removable cup holders like the Pria Max 3-in-1 and I love the ability to pop them out quickly to clean up a small spill. I love this carseat. This is is being used for my second baby, so I knew what I liked and didn't in a carseat. My favorite thing is the ease of use. It was fairly easy to install as far as carseats go. The padding is great and the fabric is so soft. I love the magnetic chest clip. I was skeptical of this, but it's very secure and still very easy to release one handed. The headrest and straps are VERY easy to adjust! I love that the straps are on a spring, so I don't have to dig for them. The fabric is much easier to take off then my other convertible seat. My only con to this seat is that it's very hard to release the buckles. The button is just so hard to press. Maybe I'll get used to it as it's on the opposite side of my van than I'm used to. Until I morph into an octopus, I will continue to love parenting products that don't require the use of all my arms. The Pria Max 3-in-1 convertible car seat has an intuitive button magnet chest strap that can be unlocked with one hand and that's not even my favorite feature. The cup holders come out. They COME OUT PEOPLE!! With a counterclockwise twist, that hopefully my toddler won't figure out, I can remove it and actually wash out the sticky residue of ALL the snacks. I lost count how many times I've barely squeezed a wet wipe into a permanent holder to ineffectively scrape at gooey goldfish remains. Game. Changer. Another practical feature is the padded shoulder straps that flip up making it that much easier to wrestle all the curious wiggly arms into safety. It did take me a full review of the manual to make sure I adjusted them correctly and I ended up tightening them down more than I expected but toddler does not seem to mind. The car seat was a breeze to install. While I haven't needed to remove and clean the full cover yet, I'm so happy its totally washable. I received the Maxi Cosi Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat to try and review from Weespring Parent Panel. I have an almost 2 year old that seemed to love the seat! He usually is not the biggest fan of being in the car strapped down but he seemed more relaxed and calm when in the Maxi Cosi then his other seat we owned. The magnetic chest clip was a huge plus for me because you are able to unhook it with just one hand. When looking at the clip I swore my toddler would be able to unhook it but it is very secure and locks in tight. The seat has two removable cup holders that you can easily take out to clean. The fabric on the seat seems very durable and I was able to wipe up juice that had split. The one thing I look for in a car seat for a toddler is the ability to clean the fabric and this fabric seems like it will hold up extremely well. I love the fact that we will be able to use this car seat for a long period of time and the seat can grow with my son! It has an adjustable head piece that moves up and down easily as my son gets taller. Although this seat is made for infants as small as 4 pounds, I don't think I would use it for a baby that small. This is solely because for an infant I like to use a carrier car seat where I am able to move them in and out of the car without removing them from the seat. I also like to have the ability to click the car seat into a stroller. This will be the car seat we now use for my toddler! It has everything and more you would want to justify the price. It's a great buy overall!

I received this Infant Car Seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel and was so excited to give it a test run and review. I have two kids, a 1.5 year and a very tall 3.5 year old. When I received the car seat I was ecstatic to find out that the seat would not only fit my 42" tall boy, but it would last him for years to come! Such a relief as he was just outgrowing his current convertible chair. This is the one stop shop for infant car seats. You can use it from a tiny baby (it comes with all the necessary pads) and it will grow with your child until you eventually convert it into a booster seat. Seriously brilliant. The seat itself was easy to install. It has latch connectors but I used the seatbelt method as my son is over 40lbs. What I appreciate was how easy it was to adjust the headrest with one hand. This seat comes with a magnetic chest clip which I was a little skeptical about at first but I have to say it is easy to use and impossible for my son to unclip himself. It comes with handy harness holders on the sides of the seat and 2 cup holders, one on either side- all not necessary features for me personally, but nice to have. One feature I have not used but is great for younger children is the 3 position recline. We do travel a lot on planes and I would be excited to use the recline feature on our next plane ride as we like to encourage our kids to sleep when we fly. The fabric of the seat feels smooth and luxurious and there are tiny perforations on the seat back part to keep your child cool in the hot summer months. It comes off completely for washing which I have not tried myself but am so happy about. This seat is not wide like some other ones I have seen on the market. I have not needed to try to fit 3 across the back of my car so I can't vouch for whether or not it could work, however, it does fit into my larger sedan very well and there would easily be space for two people to sit without car seats. My son gives it a thumbs up and so do I!

I tested this car seat out for the past month in a 2014 Subaru Forester and 2019 Honda Odyssey with a 36" tall, 27 lb. almost 2 year old and a 24" tall 13lb 2 month old who cannot hold his head up. I'm 5'7" and my husband is 6'2". We took this car seat on a 12+ hour road trip and everywhere in between and I can definitely say we love it! What we love: in the more upright rear facing position required for any baby that can hold their head up, this seat fits really well in the Subaru Forester allowing for a generous amount of leg room for the seat in front and for the kid in the car seat and gets a SUPER tight and secure fit with both LATCH and seat belt installation. We all have long legs in my family and finding a car seat that fits in the car and gives EVERYONE leg room is near impossible, this one fits the bill! Everything is easy to remove, and wash AND dry (car seat cover, cup holders). This car seat survived every kind of mess, the fact that you can put it in the dryer means that you can get back on the road fast without having to put your kid in a damp seat. There aren't a ton of weird crevices in this seat so hosing it down was a breeze! Easy to get kids in and out of with the magnetic chest clip and spring loaded harness. This was so helpful with my squirmy bigger baby as I wasn't digging under him while he was kicking. It's also very easy to switch between kiddos! What we didn't like: for kids who can't hold their head up the installation is a little clunky. In the Subaru, we needed to use a pool noodle and the seat took up way more room front to back, almost all of the front passenger leg room. This is a non-issue if you're using this seat for any baby that can hold their head up! Seatbelt installation may be hard for people with bigger hands, but it's still easy! While we received this product to test as part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel, we will definitely be purchasing another one once our little guy grows out of his MicoMax 30

Let me first say that I am so impressed that my 4 month old and (very tall) 3 year old were able to share a carseat! I was in the market for a booster seat, anticipating that my infant would eventually inherit her big sister's convertible seat, and it would be time for a harness-to-booster. We were so blessed to receive this carseat as part of the weeSpring parent panel, and it is exactly what I had in mind for my older child, but I decided to try out on my infant too just for fun, and it was a great fit for both of them! The thing I appreciate most about this seat is that it's built for practical longevity. Snacks and potty accidents will have you replacing your car seat long before the child hits the height and weight limits, so what I love about this seat is the *machine washable* cover and dishwasher safe cup holders! It really could last you through the pre-school years. It's also pretty solid, and felt well-made in terms of safety. Installing the carseat in the rear-facing position took some time. I'm a stickler for a good installation, and I did end up needing to place a rolled-up towel to the get the angle perfectly level. This is not a seat that I would plan to move from car-to-car on a regular basis. The forward-facing installation was much simpler; just your typical threading the seat-belt through the back. I've used car seats where the seat lifts up for installation, but this is one that requires you to kind of reach through blindly. Once you get the general hang of installing car seats though, you won't even think about it. Speaking of installation, a MUST-HAVE for any non-bucket car seat is an easily adjustable harness. Some carseats require you to un-install the whole thing just to raise the shoulder height (and let me tell you, kids grow fast!) With this one, it's SO EASY! You just press a button and raise it as high as you need in a few seconds. Overall, I would highly recommend this as an everyday car seat that you can buy once and be done!

The Pria 3-in-1 is such a beautiful carseat! The high quality of the materials and fabric make it look so sleek and premium! I also loved how cushioned my newborn was secured into this seat - the headrest and additional infant bolster are the best padding I've seen in a carseat yet! It's also really easy to get my baby in and out - the magnetic chest clip and flip away buckles make it so I don't have to fumble around to get the seat ready while holding the baby. Although I do wish the chest clip contoured to the baby a bit better - it seems to sit a bit awkwardly on him and it's kind of hard-edged underneath. But I'm pretty sure my baby is super comfy in this seat - we were using a carry carseat before and he would scream the entire time - in the Pria, he just contentedly hangs out or sleeps! I'm really impressed by the Pria and I appreciate that the Maxi-Cosi brand continues to deliver on uncompromising safety for my baby! This is an amazing carseat! My daughter just turned 14 months and I admittedly had her in the infant seat too long but she's a small kid. This seat came just in time! The fabric and cushioning are so soft - she looks so comfy in her new carseat. The soft sides make me feel at ease if we were ever in a crash. I love that it goes from rear facing to forward facing and finally to booster seat, it's well worth it to not have to buy yet another carseat or booster in a few years. The best thing about this is the magnetic chest clip. It's so easy it practically clips itself. The headrest is so simple to adjust, which also moves the straps up and down. It's nice to be able to adjust that without having to completely uninstall the carseat. We had a small issue getting the seat tight enough when we were installing, but after adjusting the back of the car's seat, it is now perfect. The color is nice (we have the nomad black) and the fabric looks stylish and comfortable. We adjusted it for our 7 week-old baby and found the chest clip to be a little overwhelming for his size (9 lbs). I'm sure it will be fine when he's a little bigger. Overall, I think it's a very nice and good-looking car seat. I'm excited that we will be able to use it for several years and stages- both rear and forward facing then booster mode. The features set it apart from other convertible car seats - such as the ClipQuik magnet chest clip and the flip away buckle, which keeps the buckle from getting stuck under your child when you put them in the seat. I e been a fan of Maxi-Cosi for a while and this product doesn't disappoint.

The Pria Max 3 in 1 Convertible Car Seat met my husband's standards. My son loves it because he sits up high and seems comfortable with all the padding. Getting him in the car seat is easy thanks to the spring assist EZ out harnesses that magically stays off to the side and the Magnetic chest lock is a life saver because I don't always have two hands to use. Adjusting the height of the straps is the easiest thing ever (see video). This design lets you push the button and pull up or down to adjust. I really appreciate this convenience and it again goes one more step to fitting well and being safe. The material is soft and easy to spot clean. We haven't had to wash the entire thing yet, but as easy as it is to spot clean I have high hopes for a full wash. It feels soft like moisture wicking material, which keeps the little guy cool on long trips. The cup holders are lower than most car seats and more convenient because they don't interfere when placing my son in the seat. Other car seats catch my daughter's foot, shoe, etc. The infant pillows provide support for baby boy, keeping him tight and snug, which means safe for a car seat. The install was the easiest we've done by far! It feels so sturdy and strong that I know my child will be safe in it. The extra padding makes it extra cozy, too. The harness and headrest were super simple to adjust and get a good fit. The magnetic chest clip gave me that extra feeling of security. The fabric is extremely easy to remove and wash for the inevitable messes that littles create! Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market for a new car seat! I received the Maxi Cosi Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel to use and review. The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the box was the fabric. It is so soft and cushy. It is also machine washable which will be very convenient in the future. Installation wasn't the easiest, but we got it in. Because of the size of the seat along with the installation hassle, I wouldn't recommend switching this seat between cars. The harness and headrest are super easy to adjust and the magnetic chest clip and fly away buckles make getting baby in and out so much easier. And even though she is still rear facing, my daughter can now see out the windows to look around which she absolutely loves! I look forward to using this seat for many years to come. I was so excited to be given this product to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. My favorite things about it: it is SO plush! I loved the material, as did my toddler (she enjoyed stroking it). I loved the safety features, the head pillow, it was fairly easy to install, easy to get my kids in and out, and it just seems like an all-around very comfortable seat for my kids to ride in. I wish that the seats in my car felt like this! I took off a star because I like having a travel system with a newborn (I tested this out with my 1-month old and 2-year old) because it's nice to not have to wake up a baby when moving her in and out of the car. A drawback to me is that because the chair is so plush, it's also fairly wide -- in our mini-SUV, you would *not* be able to seat an adult in the second row if you have this plus another car seat. We like having the flexibility of having an adult ride in the back if possible. That being said, I am not sure if it would be possible to have such a luxe feeling car seat that is also narrow enough to allow for a backseat passenger.

I received this as part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel. I really liked the feel of the fabric and found that in even 100+ degree weather my daughter's back still felt cool and dry, whereas it was hot and sweaty in her old car seat. It fits well in the back of my Prius behind the driver seat and both my husband (6') and I (5'4") still have decent leg room. The installation instructions where great, but I would have like more instruction on the seat inserts (like are what length or weight they should be removed). In the picture my daughter has the seat pad in place, but we removed it because it wasn't needed. Overall I'm pretty happy with this car seat and think it'll last us for the long haul.

As a brand new mom, I experienced a bit of anxiety prior to driving my newborn son around for the first time. It was important to me that my baby was not only safe, but also comfortable - and I wanted something that looked good in the back of our car. The Pria Max 3-in-1 checked all of these boxes! My son sits snuggly in the carseat and seems comfortable on each ride we take in the car. The newborn inserts provide him with all of the extra padding he needs, and it give me peace of mind knowing he is safe. The inserts are also very easy to install and remove. From a strictly aesthetic perspective, the carseat looks sleek. The interior fabric is soft and comfortable for my child, and it feels thick enough to pass the test of time. Hands down, my favorite feature of this carseat is the magnetic chest clip. It seems like such a simple concept, but it truly makes taking my son in and out of the carseat a breeze. The fact that the clip can be operated one-handed is a major plus, especially when one hand is already occupied. I do need to mention that install was slightly confusing. The steps were laid out in an understandable manner, but I struggled to find the clips to anchor the seat at first and found the pictures to be confusing at times. However, now that I have installed the seat once, it won't be an issue moving forward and know that when the time comes to change to a forward facing setting, the process will move much more quickly. All in all I have been very satisfied with this carseat and know we will be getting plenty of use as my child grows. I was given this Infant Car Seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. All of the small inconveniences you may find with a car seat are addressed and eliminated with the Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat from Maxi Cosi. My favorite feature (aside from obvious safety feature importance) has to be the strap and buckle design. The lower buckle has a removable padded piece that holds it forward when not in use. This adds a comfort feature for my daughter as well as an incredible convenience when putting her in the seat. The shoulder straps are also innovative, in that the pads are attached to the back. They stick out a little when not in use to further simplify the process of putting the child in the seat. It also saves time on repositioning the pads every time you put the child in or take them out. Additionally, there are convenient clips on the sides to hold the shoulder straps out of the way when not in use. The chest clip is magnetic, which I've found to be somewhat more convenient than the usual buckle. Install was easy using the latch system in my vehicle. The car seat itself seemed big, but once it was installed and tightened it allowed the front seat to be in the same position as it was. I find that when my daughter falls asleep in the seat, she looks very comfortable. The fabric and design are beautiful and classy. I have not had to remove the seat cover to wash yet, but it looks very easy. The cup holders are shallow but in a great position for easy access. I love that they screw out for easy cleaning. The headrest is easy to adjust and the straps adjust right along with it. Finally, I must mention the safety features which are, of course, most important. In addition to comfort, the padded seat and sides provide tremendous impact safety, even from the side collisions. The car seat seems taller than some, which isn't surprising as this car seat works up to 10 years old. I'm looking forward to many more years with this car seat!

As a busy Mom living in the Texas heat, there's nothing that I love more than baby gear that reduces stress while being outdoors, and let me tell you, this car seat does just that! It has truly made our daily lives so much easier! Our fussy toddler actually sat in this car seat without complaint and even said "cool car seat, momma!" He's 90th percentile for weight and height so we love that this car seat can accommodate up to 85 pounds in the future. I love the magnetic clip. First off I was given this Infant Car Seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and the timing could not have been more perfect. Our daughter was turning a year and growing out of her current infant car seat so we were in the market for a convertible car seat anyways. I will admit that this seat was not on our radar and not one that we were considering, but since it was free I figured I would give it a go. And boy am I glad I did. My daughter LOVES this seat. The fabric is super soft and comfortable and she loves the cup holders to put her bottle in once she is finished. She passes out in the seat almost every time we get into the car since she is so comfy in it. The adjustable seat back is a breeze and I love the magnetic chest clip and seatbelt holders, which make getting her into the seat so much easier. I was worried that she might figure the magnetic clip out on her own and unbuckle herself, but once I gave it a try I realized that there is a bit of a trick to it that she won't be able to master for some time. The cup holders come out easy for cleaning as does the car seat. You don't even have to uninstall the car seat to remove the covers for cleaning which is amazing. The only issue I did have was with the directions for the install. The install was super easy, but the directions were a bit confusing if the Level 2 recline was being used (which is what I was using). It made it seam as if the level line did not need to be level for the Level 2 recline and only needed to be Level for Level 3, but that is not the case. After a few head flops I adjusted the recline to level and we were good to go. So far I love the seat and I am very happy with it.

If I could give this product more than five stars I would. There is nothing about this car seat that I do not absolutely love! My initial impression was that it looked very comfortable and luxurious. The fabric is soft, it is breathable, and the color is perfect. I also noted that the cup holders are removable, making every piece of the seat easy to remove and clean. Safety is of course my number one concern when choosing a car seat and I felt good about what I read as far as the energy absorbent foam and protection of this one. It also couldn't have been any easier to install. It is hard to choose a favorite feature of this seat, but as a mother of three, ranging from newborn to three years old, I was extremely excited that this would be the only safety seat I would ever need. I tried the seat with all three children and it was simple to adjust the harness, headrest and extra cushions to accommodate each. I look forward to trying it out as a booster in the future. I will admit that I was a bit skeptical about the magnetic chest clip and flip away buckles. I feared the magnetic clip would be too easy for an adventurous toddler to get out of, but I'm happy to say that I ended up loving it. I am confident it is safe since it still requires a certain combination of motions to unbuckle and as a bonus I can work it one handed, which is always helpful when getting three kids and their stuff in and out of a car. The flip away buckles also turned out to be handy, I don't find myself searching behind my child for the straps. Overall, I one hundred percent recommend this seat to anyone searching for a safe, comfortable, convenient and long lasting car seat! This thing rides like a dream! From opening the box, you can tell that the Maxi-Cosi Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible carseat is going to be comfortable. The fabric is soft, the infant inserts provide excellent cushioning, and the fact that you can easily remove it to be washed is AMAZING. My favorite feature of this carseat is the magnetic chest clip. SO easy to quickly snap your kiddo in there and get going. I also really like that you can hold the harness back with the side clips. I can't tell you how many times I was pulling the straps out from underneath my son in his old carseat. I'm so glad I love this carseat, because it is going to be the LAST carseat I ever need! My son is almost 1 year and is still rear facing, but eventually this seat can turn forward facing and then become a booster seat. Making these transitions should be pretty smooth, because the headrest is easy to adjust and it also adjusts the harness height simultaneously. No pulling straps out the back and feeding them back in every time your kid has a growth spurt! My only con is that I have found it a little hard to pull the chest straps. Not impossible, but you definitely have to put a little muscle into it. That might be a good thing though? Then you know it's secure! First thing I noticed about this carseat is the size. Anyone purchasing a convertible carseat, especially one that transitions into a booster, knows that they are huge. They have to be to be safe for children at each stage. The Pria Max 3-in-1 isn't the best in terms of leaving front to back space, my husband can't get comfortable with in behind the drivers seat. Additionally, I believe all car seats, especially high end ones like this, should come with a bubble level to help parents with the install. Other than that, I love this carseat. The cover is machine washable, which is great if you have a baby with reflux issues like I do. There's enough pillows that you can customize the support around their body and head. My son cries much less in this carseat than in an infant carseat and I believe it's because of the cushy pillows it comes with. I am so in awe of the magnetic chest clip. It's so easy getting him in and out of the carseat, the straps are never in the way. I've installed a lot of carseats as well; this one was pleasantly easy to get in and out. The latches have buttons so that if you have to switch cars, you aren't fiddling with the latch system trying to get the car seat out. Since I'm using this for my 2 month old, I can't say much for forward or booster mode, but I'm happy that I get to use it for the foreseeable future (ie till he's 10). It also has tons of features that include the magnetic chest clip that you can easily take off with ease. As well as the easy to adjust harness. One of my favorite things about the car seat is the way the harness is kept away from the neck and focuses more on the shoulders. On top of that it was very easy to install in the my vehicle. And also how easy and effortless it was to remove and install the infant inserts. Last but not least I love the way in protects my baby when she's in it none of her limbs are exposed or just hanging out of the car seat. As a part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel I was able to test the Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat on my three kids ranging in age from almost 5 months to 4 and 6 years old. I was able to get a comfortable fit for all of my kids. This is my favorite feature of the seat, the ability to grow with my child. I have never used a car seat with a magnetic chest clip so I wasn't sure how I would like it but I found I loved it! It took my older kids a few tries but they got the hang of it too. The clip looked a little large on my infant but she didn't seem bothered by it at all. Getting my kids in and out of the seat was easy thanks to the harness holders. I also like that the harness can be used up to 65lbs. I like keeping my children in a 5 point harness for as long as possible. The seat comes with extra support pillows to get a small baby in the optimal position. The EZ out harness was just as the name describes, easy! I like the shoulder harness pads and that they can be removed for smaller babies. The pads are connected behind the seat pad so it gives full coverage to prevent chafing on the neck. Removable cup holders are definitely a plus. The fabric also comes off easily which is another plus when dealing with little kids and their messes. Installing the seat was very straight forward and simple. I like using the latch system but tried both ways for installation and didn't have a problem with either. The seat really is quite versatile in fitting a wide range of kids (birth on up). My 6 year old (who is more the size of an 8 year old) fit in the seat but I felt it was getting a little on the small size for her but it still fit her and she seemed comfortable when I tested it on her. All in all this is a great seat and I would recommend it.

The cushioning is super cozy, thick, and feels like a cloud. Can I please have a mattress made out of this material?! haha. And you guys, the two cupholders are removeable with an easy twist. Such a small thing, that makes a huge difference. They can also be put in the dishwasher, which is glorious. My "name brand" carseat cupholders are literally screwed in, and can't be removed without a tool...no thanks. And I absolutely LOVE the magnetic chest clip. I can't tell you how many times I've accidently pinched my kids fingers in their old car seats because of the traditional closure. This magnet feels so much safer and easier to use.

I actually really like the design of this car seat. It's a sturdy, good looking chair. My husband installed it fairly easily but we took it to the Sherrifs office just to double check because it felt a little loose. They confirmed it was installed correctly. My son is almost 4 months old and he looked really secure in the seat, which was obviously important to me. The magnetic clip / buckle in front wasn't as easy to open as they had claimed however. Took a few tries and still takes me a few tries to open it. The seat feels a bit too heavy for my young son but I bet it will be fine as he continues to grow. This car seat was a huge pain to install. I tried, my husband tried, my dad tried. It took both my husband and my dad, one had to hold it down while the other tightened with all their might. However, after that ordeal I LOVE this seat. Luckily we don't move the seat from car to car, I would not recommend this seat to those who do. The magnetic chest clip is awesome, the fabric is soft and comfy, my son's head does not fall forward when he falls asleep in it. Overall, we are very happy with this car seat. We were so lucky to get to receive the Maxi Cosi Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat courtesy of the weeSpring Parent Panel to test out for no charge. It is a very versatile car seat that can be used in children from 4 to 100 lbs. All of my kids, except for the one who can't talk, were fighting over who should get to use the new comfy car seat. It has some seriously awesome and unique features, like a one handed magnetic clip release that I can actually do with one hand. This doesn't seem like a big deal, but to be able to unbuckle a child with my only free hand is really helpful. I also love the EZ strap holders on the side because you can easily hook the straps out of the way while your child gets in the seat. This really helps prevent twisted and tangled car seat straps. The feature the kids liked best was that it had two cup holders, and, as a parent, I liked that they were removable and dishwasher safe. It is a very study car seat and has great safety features. I especially love the Quickfit harness adjustment feature that raises the harness and the headrest at the same time just by pushing the button. That made it so easy to get it to the safest headrest height. The fabric is super soft and cozy, and it wipes off very easily, which is essential in car seats. It is a little bit wide, but I was still able to get a snug install pretty easily in my vehicle with either the lower anchor install or seat belt installation. The instruction manual is so awesome and easy to follow, with very detailed step by step instructions that help ensure you get a safe fit for your specific child. The best thing about the Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Sear is that not only is it safe, and has great added features, but it has the capability to be an infant car seat, convertible car seat, and a booster all in one. The combination of a beautiful car seat with so many added features and the 3 in 1 capability is hard to beat. So far we are really loving this car seat.

The Pria Max 3-in-1 convertible car seat is one of my favorite car seats. The versatility this has is one of the best yet. I have three children from 5 years to 4 months and they can all comfortably ride in this car seat . I requested this seat for my littlest so he would be able to grow with one chair. Starting from the top, this chair has wonderful features including an easy to wash cover. (You don't even have to remove the harness straps to get the cover off!!). It also has an adjustable headrest so no rethreading everything - which is why it's pretty simple if another child needs to use the seat. The chest clip is magnetic (what?!), so it snaps in quickly and is rather difficult for a little one to remove themselves (for those escape artists..). Also, the company will send you another type of chest clip if you or your child/grandchild are unable to be near something magnetic like that due to medical devices. When getting the kids in and out, I can loosen the straps and tuck them to the side in harness holders (one of my favorite parts of this seat). It makes getting a little baby in and out much easier. The seat has a nice amount of cushion and comes with a bunch of accessories; strap covers, infant head and body pillow, and seat cushion for the really small babies. The cup holders are removable by twisting - I like that for the ease of cleaning. I did recline mode 2 for rear facing with latch and that made the seat level in my Honda Pilot. Install was a breeze as well, the seat is a little lighter and less bulky than others. Currently my baby is 16lbs, my daughter 34lbs, and my oldest son 51lbs. I use the harness on all of them. My older two enjoy using the seat in forward facing position (seat belt, not latch) but I have yet to switch to booster mode with my oldest as this seat is intended more for my littlest, when he rides with me. We love our new Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat! The look and feel of the car seat is all cozy and comfy with the added bonus of extra safety features. My favorite part of the car seat is the magnetic chest latch, making daycare drop off and pick up at least 16x easier. My 7-month old's favorite part is the cup holders, which we know will come in handy as he gets bigger. I am so glad to be able to keep using this car seat as he grows! First off, I received this Infant Car Seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel for an honest review. It could not have come at a better time as I was in the market for a new car seat as my baby turned one. I love that this seat looks like a tank. It is sturdy, well cushioned, and seems comfortable. Fabric is good quality, not scratchy and easy to remove to wash (which I already did, cold water, turned out brand new). The magnets make it easy to use the inserts but I'm still struggling with the magnetic chest clip. I can use it fine, but it is not as easy as the instructions make it out to be. Baby loves it, looks comfortable (falls asleep pretty quick in it when we go for a ride) harness is easy to adjust. I did take a point off because it is not easy to install. Also if you have a small car you might have issues with having enough room to install or to tilt back for comfort. This may not be a big issue if you place the seat in the middle (have space to tilt back since there is no front seat to block) but we put her by the door and the seat in front of it definitely has to be set forward. These are easy hurdles to surpass though for a safe and comfortable ride.

I received this car seat as part of a parent review panel in exchange for my review. Overall i think it is a great convertible car seat. It is a bit bulky and had we had a little trouble installing it, but it took less than 30 minutes to get it in and adjusted the first time and less than 15 the second time. It looks really nice and sturdy, I think I will get several years of use out of it. While it is bigger than my infant seat, my baby seems comfortable and a lot less hot in it. Her back wasn't sweating after an hour long drive in traffic. The buckles are really easy to use. I like the multi position recline, it will make it easier to keep her rear facing longer.

I absolutely love the harness holders because I don't have to try and dig it out from under my child because she's sitting on it. Also, a close second is the padding on the lower buckle because it tends to get hot in the summer and this provides protection for both my child and me. The cup holders are very easy to remove and replace. The harness system was easy to adjust and apply although I did consult the manual to ensure I was doing everything correctly. The seat was also easy to install in my vehicle and there is still room for another passenger on each side of the seat, so even I can sit there when I strap her in. I am pleased with the safety measures taken by Maxi Cosi as they help me to feel more confident that this seat will help keep my child safe while in a vehicle. I'm also excited about the multiple functions and the ability to use this seat for years to come. The magnetic chest clip has required somewhat of a learning curve for me as I'm more familiar with other types of closures. I'm not sure when my child will be able to reach the cupholders, but as of now she can't when she's buckled in and she's 12 months. I mistook the pillows for infant supports so I took them out but now I can't remember exactly how they were positioned when the chair arrived. Perhaps labeling the pillows more clearly would help. I'm also not sure how well this would fit in my husband's sedan as he doesn't have nearly as much space between his front and back seats.

So I recieved this carseat from the weeSpring parent panel to test out and I absolutely love it and so does my little one. Since we've recieved this I started using it right away and it was so easy to get in the car and ready for my little one. I absolutely love how soft and cushy it us for him and he hasnt been as fussy in the car and actually sleeps this carseat is a lifesvarr for me. I have 2 older kids also and this carseat is so much better then what i used to have for them I feel like its much safer i love the magnetic close on it, its so much easier to get to him in it... All around this carseat is a 10 for me and I would recommend it to absolutely everyone!!!

I am currently expecting, and when this baby comes we will have 3 under 3 years old. So we are no stranger to convertible car seats! This is our 5th so far, across 4 models and 3 brands and it is hands down my favorite. I received this car seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel in exchange for my honest feedback, and I couldn't be happier. The car seat is super plush and seems so comfortable, and it even got my 10 month old to nap in the car which he just simply never does. When you're putting the baby in, the chest clips kind of stay out of the way so there's a lot less wrestling there (a feature I didn't realize I always wanted!). The magnetic chest clip is super easy to use and although convenient, it does make the chest clip more bulky and I worry more about whether its in the right spot than with the conventional clip. I would warn that if you are looking for a slimmer seat, this one is not it - its pretty wide. We have a van so there are no issues there, but there's no way we could do 3 across in my husband's sedan with this seat. It was pretty easy to adjust to the size of my babies, and to install - very similar to most others, but I will mention that it doesn't have a bubble level so it just requires paying a little bit more attention. Overall with some small criticisms I would still say this seat is a favorite!

Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel, I was given a Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat to test out. Upon opening the box, my husband commented on how cushy the seat looked and I love how soft the fabric is. While the car seat didn't spare my husband and I our traditional car-seat-installation argument, it was very easy to install and tighten(meaning that the argument was just us and had nothing to do with the car seat). My 3 & 5 year old kids have been taking turns riding in the seat and they both think it's very comfortable. I like that it looks great and is safe. My 3 year old son loves having 2 cupholders and I love that they are easy to remove and can get washed in the dishwasher!! One of the very few cons about this car seat is the height adjustment. It's actually kind of hard to do physically because it's not quite a button and it's not quite a pull so your hand doesn't quite know what to do to get it to work. Since my 2 older children tend to switch between car seats depending on who is in the car, I wish it was easier to adjust quickly. 2 of my favorite features on this car seat are the magnetic chest clip and flip away buckles. Now my crazy, energetic children aren't getting tangled in the buckles in their rush to get out of the car! The magnetic chest clip actually makes it easier to get them buckled in quickly and It's awesome that I can undo it with 1 hand!! I love a children's product that grows with them like this car seat and I would recommend it to anyone considering buying a convertible car seat.

We have two little ones in our household, a toddler and a newborn. Baby gear is pretty much our life. Maxi-Cosi has always come highly recommended in my mom groups, so I was super excited when I was given the Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. For reference, I use it with my toddler in my crossover. Those who are familiar with the brand already know that Maxi-Cosi consistently offers some of the most luxurious and comfortable fabrics on the market. This seat is no different and is made with the same quality materials we've come to love and expect. It feels great, and is cushioned to keep your little one comfortable. My child seems happily relaxed in this seat and we've had many successfully car naps since installing it. 

My favorite features of this car seat are the buckles and harness. Being almost two, my little guy throws some epic, floppy body tantrums. Getting him into a car can be a difficult and arduous experience. Thankfully, this harness actually stays in place, meaning the straps don't flop around and get stuck under your child. This makes it super easy to get them in and out without struggle. I also loved the easy slide magnetic chest clip - it's easier on your fingers to just slide it, and you don't have to struggle with clipping them in. The back of this seat is high, which makes it great for growing alongside your child. However, the tall back can make it harder to see your child if you are using backseat mirrors, so you'll need to readjust those when installing this seat. The cupholders are also a little smaller, which for us is a non-issue as we use the cupholders primarily to house whatever our favorite toy car is that day (as my toddler prefers his cup by his lap). All-in-all I would consider this one of the nicest and most functional seats on the market. Its the high-end quality product you'd expect from the brand. If you want something stylish yet durable that will last you years this is it.

I was given this Infant Car Seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. It has many amazing features that I prefer over car seats I have utilized in the past. To start, the car seat is light weight and not bulky. This makes it easy to transport and I'm sure will come in handy if we ever have to bring it with us on an airplane. The actual design of the seat is beautiful. There are different shades of color and patterns incorporated, making it very stylish! It has two cup holders that are removable and dishwasher safe! They are a little on the small side, but are perfect for holding toys. As opposed to other car seats I have owned, the shoulder straps on this car seat are built in so they don't slide up and down or twist and turn as you are trying to strap your child in. This is very helpful and my favorite feature! When installing the seat, I preferred the seat belt like clip provided to tether the seat as opposed to a hook I've seen on other car seats. Loosening and tightening the harness is easy and I found the magnetic chest lock to be very user friendly making it a breeze to secure your child quickly! The infant pillows and cushions on the car seat feel extremely comfortable and are very soft and plush. It has phenomenal safety features including crash absorbent technology all along the sides of the seat. Best of all, it's built to grow with your child allowing them to use from birth to 100 lbs! I received the Maxi Cosi Pria Max 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat as a gift from the weeSpring Parent Panel. Having previously just installed a separate infant carrier for our 3 month old daughter that was quite troublesome, I had some apprehensions about installing a new car seat. However, I was incredibly impressed with just how easy the install was for this carseat. We installed the seat in the rear-facing setting based on our child's age and weight (3mo/12 pounds). We selected the "latch" option when installing in the backseat of our SUV. Having the item as one piece made it quite simple and was properly installed with level lines in a matter of minutes. Upon using this seat for a couple of weeks following receipt, the biggest areas we were impressed with were the following: 1) Versatility: Being a first time parent, it was daunting to think about how many items you need to care for your child. I absolutely love that this car seat can be used from newborn all the way up to 100 pounds. If only we'd had this when we left the hospital! :) The multiple inserts and neck supports make it so easy for us to use this from now until our daughter no longer requires a car seat. This was a huge relief in my mind, and makes a lot of financial sense for my family. Many friends of ours were not even aware seats like this existed when I discussed the features with them. They were under the impression an infant, toddler and booster seats all needed to be purchased separately as their child grows. Not with the Pria! 2) Advanced Features: One of the things I feared when putting my child in this seat over the infant carrier was that it was not as much of a relaxed incline for napping. However, I loved seeing the recline option for our little one. Whether it was a quick trip home from the grocery store where she fell asleep, or a recent road trip to the mountains, it was amazing to be able to get more nap time out of her by reclining the seat slightly and still knowing she is safe

Wow this is an amazing car seat! It has so many features that my infant car seat didn't have so I'm blown away by all the features. The assist EZ out harness makes putting the baby in so much easier and I don't have to poke around looking for the straps stuck under the baby. The comfort level is also amazing; there is plenty of soft padding including the infant pillow and the region where the belt buckle is also padded to provide extra comfort. The shoulder harness also has pads so the belt doesn't dig into the baby. One of the best parts of the car seat is the magnetic chest lock. It took me a couple tries but it can actually be unclamped with one hand which is awesome when you have the baby in the other hand. The car seat material is awesome and can be removed for easy washing. The only thing I would change is making the car seat slimmer in general for people who have compact cars. I own a smaller 4-door car so this car seat works fine when it's forward facing but a little bit challenging to put the baby in when used rear facing. Other than that, this is a great car seat and very comfortable. I received this Car Seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel.

We're using the new Pria Max 3-in-1 thanks to the weespring parent panel (provided to us for free)! Things we love: This thing is SO COMFY. I want one for myself. It's padded, all the lining is removable and washable, and it came right on time after Babu threw up on his infant carseat (which does NOT have a removable/washable cover). The headrest and straps are easy to adjust and clasp. He also seems happier being up a little higher where he can see out of the windows better. Things that could be better: The seatbelt attachment does not have a clamp like our infant carseat did, which gave us a little more peace of mind. Unfortunately, our car doesn't have a LATCH system in the middle seat, and carseats don't fit well anywhere else in the backseat. Also, it would be nice if the included pillows had velcro to keep them in place. I could get velcro myself and install it, but I guarantee you that I will forget I've considered it two minutes from now. All in all, we like this carseat! Our kid is safe, he feels snug and happy, and he naps when we drive. That's what we want out of a carseat, especially one that lasts until he's 100lbs!

There are so many positives about this seat, but by far the biggest selling point is the fact that it grows with your child. Car seats are pricey no matter what age they accommodate, and it's crazy from both a cost and storage perspective that until now, I've had to buy one for each stage of development (infant, toddler, booster). Friends & I used to daydream about a truly convertible / all-age car seat (being totally serious about this), and I'm so glad it's finally on the market! The second-biggest selling point is that this one has a cover that can go in the washing machine -- no small feat for a car seat based on the others I've owned and spent hours stain treating and scrubbing and even once sending to a professional cleaner. Safety features seem great, it's about as easy/difficult to install as the others on the market. Kiddo seems comfortable. The only drawback to me is how heavy it is, but again, that's about on par with the other car seats I've owned or tried out over the years -- a pain for city dwellers who need to bring it on cab rides, etc., but a non-issue for suburban / rural parents who can leave it installed in their car.

We had the opportunity to receive this car seat as part of the wee spring parent panel. This car seat is great! It was so easy to install, you had options to either use the seat belt or anchors when installing. The fabric was soft and machine washable. We washed it once and there was no fading still looked bran new. The EZ latch was super easy to use, definitely a thumb saver. I couldn't get enough of the removable cup holders and they were dish washer safe! My only thing about this car seat is it is a little bulky. So any smaller vehicles would have a space issue if they have more then one child. My mid size suv, along with my other child's booster made it a tight squeeze. We then put it in our full size truck and had plenty of space. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family!

I was given this convertible car seat to try as part of the weeSpring parent panel. My 10 month old is a little chub and I was excited to get her out of her infant car seat. I loved that it came fully assembled right out of the box. I sat it up on the floor to get a good fit for my daughter before installing. The fabric is wonderful quality and feels super luxurious. I didn't need the bottom or back cushion for my daughter, so I removed those. They came right off easily. I am happy it has a cup holder on each side, and the fact that they are removable and machine washable is even better. The little holders for the chest straps are super handy. They are a little tight at first, so you need to use two hands to get the straps tucked away with them, but maybe after more use they will loosen a but and it will be a one hand process. My favorite feature is the magnetic one hand chest buckle. This is a serious game changer!! After using this smooth buckle, I decided to ditch our other convertible seat, which also happens to be the same brand but an older model, and buy a second one! I drive a compact electric car, and the installed easily with the latch system. It was fully reclined for rear facing mode, and still left enough room for the front seat passenger to ride comfortably. This is also huge for me because most rear facing seats are way too big. I feel confident that this seat will keep my little one safe for years. The padded head rest is cozy and not too close to her head. She doesn't seem to mind it, and hopefully as she gets older she will find it comfy to doze off in. It is easy to adjust the headrest with one hand too. I haven't had to remove the fabric to wash it yet, since it repels liquid so well! Some formula spilled on it and it actually repelled it! I am lucky to have this wonderful seat!

This is a super luxurious car seat. We have other adjustable 3-1ins from another well known brand and this is just so nice. Pros: COMFORT: The seat is very plush. We tried this with our 2 year old and our 3 month old. Both seemed comfortable and we were easily able to adjust the headrest to make sure they fit appropriately in the seat. CLEANING: The cover is WASHABLE. It's awesome that that it can go through the dryer, which is unheard of for car seat covers. It was very easy to get the cover off and on if you follow instructions. STRAPS AND CLIP: The straps are so amazing and simple to adjust. An added bonus is that the clips retract on the side of the seat to hold the straps when the child isn't in the seat are perfectly placed to help prevent twisting. The magnetic clasp is pretty neat and doesn't seem at risk of the child unbuckling which was what I was concerned with about that feature. WEIGHT LIMITS: The rear-facing weight/height limit (40 lbs/40"), but the forward-facing limit of 85 pounds is better than many other combo seats. INSTALLATION: The latch connectors were easy to use. I had some difficulty tightening so if this will be moved between cars, it may not be for you. Con: SIZE: This is a large car seat. I wouldn't recommend this for rear-facing in a small car/suv. We had to move up the front seat in order to set the car seat comfortable in our mid-size SUV while rear-facing. If your child is short, it may be fine. Overall a nice buy. First off, I will start by saying this is the third brand of car seat that we have used between two kids. Some of the features, I thought were awesome. Some were just so so. Not necessarily bad, but I would expect more from a high end car seat. One of the things that I loved about the Pria Max Convertible car seat was the fabric. It was very nice and plush and super comfortable looking for our baby. I have not yet removed the fabric to wash it, but I do think it will be pretty simple! The color is great and will definitely not show dirt easily down the road, either. I loved the flip away buckles. It was so nice not having to dig the straps out from underneath the baby each and every time you put them in the car seat. That was by far, my favorite feature! I also really loved the magnetic chest clip. It's a bit bulky, but it's a cool new feature that I enjoyed as I could unbuckle it with one hand if needed. The car seat was simple to install, but have never found any install to be particularly tricky. One of the things that I thought they could have done to make the car seat a bit more luxurious is to have a leveler. This particular car seat has a sticker with a line on it so that you can make sure it's level. The other car seats that we have used have had the ball leveler or liquid leveler installed on the car seat. I also would have preferred at least a few more reclining positions. I didn't think that in any of three that were provided that my little was quite as reclined as I would have liked. The strap is also super long, so our guy always had it in his mouth chewing on it! None of these were deal breakers, just little things that would have made a bit more difference! For such a high end car seat, I would have thought these few things would have been perfected.
