The overall comfort for my infant seems fine - I like the amount of cushion It offers. But there are several [rather large] issues I have with It for the amount I paid. First, more times than not I will hear the car seat fully click into place AFTER I've already started driving. I always feel confident I've got It locked in only to find out it's not which is scary. Second, most times It takes two hands for me to get the car seat unlocked from the base. It gets stuck way too often. Lastly, I got the pure Cosi fabric - I've only used the car seat for 6 months and the fabric is already ragged and snagged all over. My child is not mobile enough for the car seat to look warn.

This car seat is not worth the money - it has a junky feel about it. The straps are nearly always stuck and impossible to adjust, your kid will be screaming by the time you are able to work it out. The latch process that allows you to take the car seat out of the car is also mushy, routinely gets snagged, and doesn't ever fully 'click' in like other car seats, leaving you wondering if it's on there. That function has nearly stopped working completely on ours - meaning we can no longer take it out of the car. Overall this is an cheaply made car seat that is not worth the high price tag - the kid's grandparents have a Grecco car seat that was less than half the price that does not have these problems.

I have been using this seat for over 2 months. Positives: It has some great safety features. Stability leg, air cushions in the headrest, nicely padded shoulder strap covers. The seat padding also seems VERY comfortable for baby. Negatives: The seating Position is too upright for a newborn. The car seat is a struggle to get in the base. My wife has a chicco and that seats itself into the base with a very audible click. It takes almost no effort to lock into the base as it guides itself into the correct position. The maxi cosi, by comparison can be VERY difficult to get the seat aligned with the base. You actually have to tilt the seat in a more upright position to lock it in the base. There is no way to tell if you are close to being in the right position. It is very frustrating and makes an already too upright position worse. This is no longer an issue when baby had head control. This could be an excellent car seat with some improvements. In its current state, there are much better options, especially for the price.

While this infant seat is super soft and looks comfy for my baby it's just not wide enough. My baby is an average size 6 month old and is squeezing her shoulders in. Unfortunately, we have to buy another seat now.

The seat is comfy lots of cushion, Seat is uncomfortable for her she looks like she is being squeezed by the chair almost as if she didn't fit. She does fit.

I own 2 Pria max for my toddlers. Absolutely love those. Owned a Nuna for them as babies. Decided to stick with the Maxi Cosi for my newest baby. She was born a preemie and is now just over 2 months and her shoulders barely fit in this car seat already. Very disappointed as I will probably have to be purchasing another infant seat that will fit her very soon! Shoulder width is just too small.

I wanted to love this! I have 2 of the pria 85 max car seats for my toddlers and they have been amazing! This car seat however doesn't seem to be nearly as cushioned.. it squeaks when I carry it from the styrofoam. The canopy does not stay and pops loose. Not nearly as sturdy as I was expecting after loving the other ones we have...

The Canopy is so hard to open and close. You need 2 hads to do it becaude the wire used to hold it up is flimsy and u have to move both ends at the bottom to make it stay. They couldnt even bother to have the marital colored inside the canopy. The matrial is cheap. The extra safty bar that comes with the base is usless. Does not stay properly. Baby sits way to upfront in the set would not recommend for new born. And yes there is plent of room for baby to grow but it narrows to the top so as ur baby grows the shoulders get tighter and tighter . Very uncomfortable for child.

My girls started using these car seats when we brought them home from the NICU at just 5lbs. They are almost a year old now and these car seats have held up great.

When you use the supplied latches to clip into the car seats, you can't tighten the latch belt tight enough to keep the base unit from moving right to left (more than the recommended one inch). We are new first time parents and want to eliminate anything that can lead us to worrying--and sadly this feels unsafe. We've asked several people and we've been told it is installed properly, it just slides too much right to left between the two latches. We are going to the police station tomorrow and if they say it is unsafe, we will return for a full refund.

I have loved this car seat for our baby from the time she came home from the hospital at just five pounds and on. It's incredibly supportive and easy to adjust as she grows. The infant insert kept her secure and comfortable, even at her smallest. We've found it easy to install in multiple cars, but it did have to be on a side seat in our SUV, as the support leg was too long for the floor in the middle seat. I love how light the car seat is, and the handle makes it easy to tote around in various positions. We have a car seat ready for the next stage, but I plan to keep our baby in the Mico Max Plus until she reaches the max height & weight.

I purchased this car seat for my son while I was pregnant, I chose this car seat because I have two other kids and I wanted something light. I don't like how my son sit in the seat and looks very uncomfortable.

Just ok. The base comes loose from the seatbelt often and I have to constantly reinstall it I even got it installed by certified specialists at the hospital and it is constantly coming loose which scares me. Also, I was unable to buy an additional base for my husbands car and I did not know this until after we already took the product out of the box and threw the box box away. I think they are available now, but back in Feb/ March I couldn't purchase one which was very inconvenient for our situation. I like the cooling fabric, but the infant insert covers it up and my newborn gets very hot and screams. I am sure that would happen with any car seat though. I like that it is light weight and has the pop up buckle feature so you don't have to go digging under your baby for the buckle.

We love this car seat! We are first time parents and felt very overwhelmed when we started looking into car seats and strollers. The Maxi Cosi Plus was suggested to us by a family friend and decided to look into the options. We found the car seat easy to install as well as easy to understand the directions for the stroller and additional seat. The stroller frame and wheels are durable for city sidewalks as well as gravel and grass (No getting stuck!) Not only do we love it but more importantly, so does our baby girl! We would definitely recommend this car seat and travel system to any parents!

I was very pleased to receive the Maxi-Cosi Mico Max Plus Infant Car Seat from weeSpring Parent Panel. I love its safety features, especially the stability leg and side impact support. It also looks much classier than many other car seats and I appreciate how easy it is to install/remove the padding. I also like the extendable hood, although it only extends it a couple of inches. It easily snapped into my Maxi-Cosi stroller. Also, although the base is quite heavy, the seat itself is lighter than others at the same price point - something I definitely appreciate with how much I end up carrying this around! The only downside is the base is quite large so may not fit as well in a smaller vehicle.

As a parent of a 5 month old boy and 2 older girls, car seat safety is priority. I was given the Maxi-Cosi Mico Max Plus Infant Car Seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. The car seat looks nice, has a great canopy that extends very far to protect the baby. Installation of the car seat was easy, there was no movement side to side, although it seemed to have a lot of movement up and down. We were very excited about this new car seat and when we went to use it for the first time, my son was too big for it. He isn't huge but he's a pretty big boy. His shoulders were too snug and he was uncomfortable. At 5 months, he was 17.5 pounds and 27.5 inches. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the car seat! Had we got the car seat when our son was an infant, we would have loved it!

The safety ratings for this car seat is amazing and that was the most important thing to me above looks and whatever else but this car seat has it all. The installation was very smooth and easy. I love that it has the stability leg for the extra protection. The fabric is soft and luxurious for baby's sensitive skin, and it is breathable. The handle is easy to carry and I love that it's curved in design so I can see by baby better. It's not heavy like the other similar car seats. They managed to pack safety in but still be on the lighter side. The large shade is fantastic. I also have the Lila stroller system and it clicks so easily that traveling is a breeze. I received this from the weeSpring Parent Panel.This is an extremely attractive car seat that's clearly well made with a lot of soft padding that creates a comfortable and stable seat for our infant. One of our favorite features is the ergonomics of the handle for carrying-it makes it very easy and comfortable to carry the car seat in and out of the car. It also clips in and out of its base in the car and in and out of the stroller very quickly and easily. The extra long sun canopy is great, too.

This car seat is great! I LOVE that the seat fabric is machine washable...and so easy to remove and replace. I found it very easy to install the car seat base into our SUV. I also really like the stability leg and the easy to use level on the base. Both made installation a breeze and provided a sense of security to this anxious mom. The seat is super lightweight too, much lighter than the car seat we used with son. I anticipate this being very important as I juggle an infant and a toddler. I thought the zippered canopy is a wonderful touch. It's nice to be able to pull the canopy almost completely over the seat, either to shade the baby from the sun...or from curious strangers. There was one small issue I had with the canopy. It seems a little flimsy and doesn't seem to pull down in one swift move. Rather, you have to pull on each side to make it even.
