We are very happy! We received our Mara XT about 2 months ago and have traveled with it by car many times. We plan to take it on the plane next month to Europe for several weeks. It folds up so nicely and takes up very little room. The seat is very comfortable and the fabric is soft - our baby has fallen asleep in it multiple times. I love that it reclines, has a large sun shade and a sizable basket for a compact stroller. It's also very enjoyable to stroll - the wheels are smooth and handle grips comfortable.

This is a great stroller for traveling and a definite upgrade from your standard umbrella stroller. It's very easy to maneuver, is lightweight and is simple to fold up (even with one hand). The design and styling looks high end and the seat padding, large canopy and recline make it very comfortable and functional for kids. I'm able to use this for both my 2.5 & 4.5 year old (both about 33lbs) and they fit comfortably. I liked that the leg rest could adjust for them. The basket underneath is spacious and can fit a diaper bag or purse and the large cup holder is a great addition! I would like a solid bar for steering vs. the two, but that's a personal preference. This is my first experience with a Maxi-Cosi product but the quality is evident and I look forward to continue to use this stroller on the go and even for mile long neighborhood walks.

I love this stroller. It's easy to fold up and fits nicely into my trunk. It's smooth and easy to push. My little guy said it's very comfortable and he seems to be very content in it! I love the big storage bin underneath. It is perfect for shopping trips but also fits my little 10 pound dog when we go for walks!

We received the Mara XT Ultra Compact stroller for free to review. A lot of pros with this stroller, but we also have a few things we don't love about it. Pros: - Luxury seat for sure! My daughter is so comfortable sitting in this stroller. The padding is so soft (feels like memory foam) and the size is perfect. Plenty of room to get comfy. The straps are easily adjustable and do not irritate my daughter. Easy to snap on and off. - The wheels glide like butter compared to our other travel stroller. Easy to maneuver over bumps on the sidewalk. -The canopy is larger, which is great for naps. -The removable cup holders are great to save space when folded. Cons: -It's compact, but heavy! -There is no strap to hold when it is folded, which makes it awkward to carry. This is probably my least favorite aspect of the stroller. It's impossible to hold the stroller and my daughter at the same time. I would recommend this stroller if you are looking for an umbrella type stroller that is luxury, however, I would be hesitant to purchase this for long term travel as there is no easy way to carry/transport it. With some sort of strap it would be perfect. Compared to our competitor compact stroller, this one is a lot more comfortable for my daughter, but also a lot more challenging to open and close than our other compact stroller.

I got this stroller to try, I was looking for a better more compact stroller and I found it! I absolutely love this, I tell everyone I know to get it if they have or are having a baby now. It was easy to set up and once you have it done you will love it. It folds down for easy storage. You can use your baby carrier with it or by itself, very versatile!

The maxi cozi stroller is such a perfect stroller for any family with the little one. It's Easy so to store. It unfolds and folds so fast and simple. It's very universal for a hike, a stroll or even a cozy place for a baby to hang out.

My biggest complaint with travel strollers was that they are so cheap looking and despite being small not easy to fold but this stroller is neither. It looks so good! Well made and quality build. Its also so so so easy to fold. We have been travelling and didn't want to lug around our uppababy vista due to size so took this instead and it was so portable and easy to take this everywhere and fold it within seconds. The seat is comfortable and padded. The canopy is a good length too. The wheels are small so meant for smooth surfaces and not all terrain but I wasn't looking to take this on a hike anyway :)

The Maxi-Cosi Mara XT Ultra Compact Stroller is a great lightweight stroller option. For being able to attach an infant car seat, this is the lightest and most compact folding stroller I have ever tried. The stroller is easy to lift in and out of the car with one hand and folds so compact it can fit almost anywhere. I really like how slim the fold is compared to other compact stroller that will fold flat but are still wide. The stroller is easy to open and close, even with just one hand. I love the rigid cup holder attachment, which is a feature that is typically not included in such a lightweight style stroller. The reason I gave this stroller four stars instead of five is due to maneuverability challenges and weaker frame when compared to similar style strollers. I had issues getting this stroller up onto the curb when using it in a shopping center, I ended up having to turn around and back up onto the curb due to the design and strength of the stroller frame I was unable to get on the curb going forward. The frame of this stroller is also less rigid and appears weaker that that of similar type strollers. There is a lot of five when moving the handle bars side to side. Although I have not had any issues with the stroller frame as of yet I feel this is definitely worth noting. Overall, I really like the stroller as a compact, lightweight on the go option. I would recommend it to others looking for just that.

Firstly, as someone with 3 kids, we've had a lot of different strollers in all sorts of styles and brands. This stroller blows them out of the water in terms of how smooth it drives. You can barely even tell you're pushing anything at all. It's very light weight. The most lightweight stroller I've ever owned. All three of my kids actually WANT to get in and go for walks in this. It has hidden features that are really lovely. The shade sail has a zip that extends it out for a very large covering. This is something we looked for, for a very long time. There is also a nice little hidden Zipper to keep small things like keys. Overall I love this and very much would recommend it.

This Maxi-Cosi Mara XT Ultra Compact Stroller is nice and compact. It folds easily and doesn't take up a lot of space. It stands upright nicely when folded. This stroller maneuvers very easily, seat is wide and comfortable for my tot. The suspension is great this stroller has a bouncyness to it. This stroller also has a decent size under carriage and a nice cup holder. The only con, is its hard to raise the front end pushing down on handles to get up and down a curb. If you are looking for a very light compact stroller, this may not be for you as its not the lightest. Other than that we love this stroller and highly recommend.

This stroller is amazing!! It folds up small and is light! I like that it fit each of my children comfortably. My son is tall at 22 months and he was very comfortable in it. Even my daughter who is 3 and over 3 feet tall fit in there with room to spare. My favorite part was that it folded so easily. If you have a smaller trunk this stroller is a perfect fit.

I have three children and I've owned more strollers than anyone needs to. From the cheapo $15 umbrella stroller to the $500+ multifunction double stroller, I've owned them all. As far as handling this stroller is a pleasure to use. It steers amazingly, locks securely, and can be maneuvered with one hand. The downsides... The stroller is lacking trays and cupholders. There is nothing for the child and just a single cupholder on the right side for the person pushing. We bought a removable accessory for the person pushing that creates cup holders and a tray. However we did not find a good solution for the lack of child cupholder. Also there's very little as far as sides go when the seat is positioned all the way up. My daughter is about 1.5 years old and was able throw herself almost all of the way out of it. Thank goodness for secured straps otherwise she would have fallen out. Overall I would recommend this stroller as a really good purchase. It's nimble, yet lightweight and compact. The issues it has are small and fairly easily mitigated.

I really like how compact and lightweight this stroller is when it's collapsed down. Very easy to move and store. It is easy to open with minimal effort for use. When fully opened it is still pretty compact so it's not bulky to push around. The wheels work great and are easy to maneuver. The comfort grip handles make it nice when you're using for long walks. The stroller itself is very nice quality and seems to be plenty comfortable enough. At least that was my impression when the kiddo fell asleep in it. The basket under the backside provides ample space for toys/snacks/diaper bag etc. The canopy isn't very big, but it does a good enough job keeping direct sun blocked.

I own a few strollers City Jogger, UPPAbaby G Luxe and GB Pockit. Compared to the city jogger this is super compact, but compared to the other two not so much. The basket is huge and there's a cupholder. The recline is great and the wheels can withstand uneven city sidewalks. When it comes to being portable it isn't as good as the uppa baby (has a convienent strap to carry) or the GB Pockit (takes up so little room). I look forward to using this more with baby #2

I have twins, so I am always looking for strollers that do two things: cut down on the amount of room they take up and are easy to open/maneuver with one hand. This one fits both of those requirements! It folds up compactly in order to fit in small spaces and I imagine it being perfect for apartment living where storage is minimal. To open it up, you just unclip one little clip while it is on the ground, pull up the handles and snap it into place. The same goes for breaking it down -- the push of one button and then fold it into place. My husband even said, "Woah! Look at that!" as I folded it down with a baby on my hip! I would definitely recommend this stroller to others, especially those looking for compact, but still with good handling. The basket underneath isn't huge, but that isn't expected in an umbrella stroller. It even comes with car seat adapters, so you'd be able to use this stroller from infant through toddler. The only thing that could make this stroller better is if I had a second one for the other twin! ;-)

This stroller is compact, lightweight, but still very durable. The storage space under the seat is functional and the seat has a good recliner for little nappers!

I absolutely love the Maxi-Cosi Mara XT Compact stroller. It's the perfect fit for my family. We take walks every day and I've found the size to make it much easier for me to get it in and out of the house. My son is comfortable in it. The storage basket is perfect for my water bottle and his cup. It's so easy to fold and it doesn't take up much space. This makes it a better fit when I'm putting it into my car trunk.

This stroller is the Cadillac of umbrella compact strollers. It is heavy duty and is so easy to maneuver and it works great in "off road" situations.

We have another stroller that is lighter and more compact, but doesn't have as much space and features as this one. It's great all around stroller that won't take up have your trunk space but doesn't sacrifice space and compartments.

The Maxi-Cosi Mara XT Ultra Compact Stroller is a great option for those times when you want a lightweight stroller or your vehicle is limited on space (think travel!), but you could use it any other time you will be taking your little one out. We have a couple strollers and they all fill specific needs and uses for my family. Personally, for extended use, unpaved ground, or running/walking, I prefer different stroller options. Our little one is 8.5 months and can safely sit/lay in the stroller. Our nearly 2 year old is able to use this as well, so when I only have one child with me, this stroller will be sufficient. Carseat adapters are included with the stroller, but I do not use this feature, so can only confirm that the adapters can easily be inserted and removed. For me, opening the stroller isn't a one-handed task, but folding it up is. A few of my favorites on this stroller: zipper storage (perfect for phone and keys and thin wallet), compact fold, large removable cup holder, adjustable recline padded seat, removable front wheels (for storage), large canopy with peek through flap, front swivel wheels (easy to maneuver, smoother ride), and it fits through doors with ease. There are two things I am not loving: the storage basket and handlebars. Now, this is not a full size stroller, so it is also unfair of me to hold these against the stroller, as I would not expect a compact stroller to have a large basket, nor adjustable handlebars. As the photo shows, my large diaper bag doesn't fit in here, so I had to grab a smaller backpack bag that I stock with only necessities. Overall, I am definitely satisfied with this compact stroller and recommend it to those in the market for one.

The Maxi-Cosi Mara XT Ultra Compact Stroller is a truly fantastic stroller. The stroller looks quite luxe and the seat is cozy for my son. I love the basket size and the comfortable handles. Most of all, I love how small it folds while still being a useable size when open. Highly recommend! My only critique would be that it could use a bigger storage pocket or something for holding keys/phone.

This stroller was great to assemble. Very easy. Love the smooth ride, how tall it is and the comfort. It's so light, which I absolutely love. It navigates well on uneven sidewalk. The cup holder is a great bonus. My 2 year old loved riding in the stroller. He was very comfortable. I liked that I didn't have to hunch over to push it and the generous storage space.pp The only issue is that the straps are extremely difficult to adjust. We eventually gave up and let it be loose.

A well made stroller is very important purchase when you have a young one as it's one item you use so much! I currently own the Uppababy Vista which I LOVE! but sometimes I want more space in the trunk of my car and this one is perfect. This @maxicosiusa Mara XT Ultra Compact stroller comes with the front two wheels not attached but everything else is already assembled so I just screwed on the wheels and it was ready to go! Took only a few minutes to figure out how open it and was so easy to fold back together. I also love that it has nice padding on the seat and can also recline. The cup holder that comes with the stroller is also an added bonus as you usually have to buy accessories like this separately. I will definitely be taking this on road trips or when I need to go somewhere quick. Nice job Maxi Cosi!

I think this is a great travel stroller. This stroller is a cross between a traditional umbrella stroller and a more sturdy stroller. We use this stroller for a travel stroller for our toddler. It's perfect for him because he's comfortable enough to fall asleep in it, the shade protects him from the sun, there's plenty of storage underneath for snacks/shopping bags and the padding just makes it overall a comfortable experience for him. I highly recommend this stroller for travels or your daily stroller if this fits within your budget.

I really like how compact this stroller is. We put it in the backseat of our car with 2 car seats and it fits perfectly so I have my whole trunk still. It will be perfect to travel with. The seat is comfortable and you can adjust the seat so the baby can lay down which is nice. I do wish it came with a tray in front to feed the baby a snack, but that is my only complaint. We have been using this stroller for a week now and really love it. I would highly recommend buying this stroller if you need a compact option.

I love this stroller it's the perfect on the go stroller doesn't take up half my trunk like other strollers this is so compact and the perfect stroller to always keep in the car when getting places around or for when traveling. Next time I'm going to travel this stroller will be coming with me. It has a nice size basket for when I'm shopping at the mall for all my bags. Best compact stroller to have.

This stroller is simply Amazing! My son loves it. Quick and easy set that shows it was made for baby. Sturdy construction but yet super lite. All I can say is you are on the fence get this one as it will becombaby. new best traveling friend for baby..

Very happy with This stroller. I was surprised by how light it was considering how well it is built. I am a firm believer that weight means quality but this has me rethinking that. My two-year-old daughter fits great in it. My four-year-old son may be too big. It folds up and Comes Out easily. My wife can get it in and out of the car easily. Going to recommend this stroller for sure.

Easy to use and comfortable for my 13 month old. Wish pocket on the back was larger as my phone barely fits.

I was provided this stroller in exchange for my honest review. I have two toddlers and have many strollers ranging from the deluxe modular jogging type, to the cheap umbrella strollers. I find the Mara XT to be the perfect blend of them all - with the features you need in a more deluxe stroller, but with the compact portability we all need in today's busy world. I LOVE pushing it around because it glides with so little effort. I truly honestly love this stroller and would recommend it to anyone.

We absolutely love this ultra compact stroller because I don't have to worry about having enough space for groceries/shopping etc because it folds up so small! Also, it's crazy easy to fold/unfold which is so nice for a busy mom like me that usually only has one free hand.

I have three daughters so I normally use a double stroller, but when I have only one kid in tow, this is my go-to stroller. It's ultra-compact which makes it great for travel. One of my favorite features is being able to fold it with just one hand. This comes in super handy when I have my hands full! I also like the the spacious storage basket. The recline on it also great and the sunshade provides ultimate defense from the sun for my little one.

I think of this stroller as a really great hybrid of an umbrella style stroller and a full size stroller. Like if these two styles had a baby, this is what that stroller would be. It has the compact benefits of an umbrella stroller without being as bare bones. The seat is comfy, the safety belt goes over the shoulders instead of just over the lap, PLUS there's a nice-sized basket that can hold quite a bit. It's definitely not as sturdy as a full size stroller. It's not wobbly! And in fact walking around with it is smooth and easy to maneuver, but it definitely has a less-sturdy feel to it. It also has infant car seat adapters which is so nice if you have a Maxi Cosi infant car seat. Overall, this is a great second stroller or travel stroller option. If space is super duper tight, you could probably make this your primary stroller. For us, it's a great compliment to our standard-sized stroller.

Love this stroller! It's small and easy to fold and unfold. Super easy to steer, and is light weight! Also love that you can connect some of the infant car seats into it instead of using the bigger bulky strollers!
