This car seat has seriously thought of all the possible needs for carrying. This is a 3 piece seat: the car seat base, outer carrier, and inner carrier. The inner carrier you can detach from the outer carrier with one hand, while the other is holding the soft padded handles. Those soft padded handles are probably my favorite feature. The inner carrier is so incredibly lightweight! My other favorite feature is the crossbody strap and carry. I haven't needed to use a stroller with this because now I just use the crossbody carry. It seems more comfortable to me and a more agile carry method as opposed to needing a stroller. I now just leave the outer base in the car attached to the seat base and use the inner carrier as my main carrier to load baby in and out of the house. My baby falls asleep in this car seat so I would say he is pretty comfortable. It also comes with excellent padding for the newborns too. This car seat had features I didn't even know I needed. When the Coral XP came to my door, I was unsure what it would offer that I didn't already have. As a mom of two small kids (2yr & 10w) trust me when I say this car seat is a game changer. The straps?! Why has this never been a thing before! My chiropractor loved it because the padded handles support new mamas and our core and pelvic floors. We need all the support we can get, am I right? The strap made getting the whole family in the car easier when baby was fussy but big kid needed a few more minutes for shoes. I could gently swing her buckled in, while still having a hand to help the toddler. The inner core is so light and makes going in and out of the car a breeze. No more lugging heavy car seats to the fifteen postpartum appointments we have. My girl was small at birth and this car seat offered her the support her tiny body needed with the extra pads. They were a breeze to take out when she out grew them! That, plus the cover being machine washable has made the spit up not feel as stressful. Just toss it in the washing machine! I am so thankful a product like this is on the market. I will for sure be telling all of my new mom friends about this seat!! Pros: (1) I find that this carrier is much easier to carry than my previous brand. The old carrier was hard to carry on my arm with the canopy opened, while I feel like this Maxi-Cosi is much more comfortable to carry as the handle seems wider and allows for more space to feed your arm through. (2) My favorite feature is the fact that the internal carrier can be removed. Let's face it- although they are portable, infant carriers are heavy. This innovative feature gives you the option to leave behind the bulky base of the carrier in the car to lighten up the load when you're on the go. Just a quick push of a button and you can easily release the inner carrier from the outer. I LOVE the shoulder strap which allows you to wear the inner carrier across your body and evenly distribute the weight. No more awkward hobbling while transporting your baby in a carrier. This feature is great when you want to run a quick errand and don't want to be weighed down by an infant carrier. I even have a spare hand and don't have to put the baby down! Once you're back at the car, just pop the inner carrier back in the outer carrier that is already secured to the car seat base. (3) My baby seems to loves it! It is much roomier then my old carrier and she can nap comfortably in it when we're in the car. I've definitely noticed a difference in her temperament in the car since making the switch to the Maxi-Cosi and she is much more relaxed. Cons: (1) I have a small SUV and had to move my driver seat up a bit in order to fit this carrier in my car. A fix for this would be to secure the base either in the middle seat or the passenger side seat. If you have a car with more space between rows you should be fine. (2) limited colors. Would love to see the burgundy inner carrier paired with a black canopy instead of red.

I am pretty impressed by this car seat system. The design and fabric look very sleek and high end, which I can appreciate. Here's my breakdown: Base: Super easy to install and I was confident I installed it correctly using the level indicator windows on the side of the base and the load leg/stability leg is a great safety feature to have. Car seat: Great sun canopy, nice handle for carrying. My chunky four month old seems cozy and comfortable when in it. I like the covered belt release button so you're not searching blind for it each time. The belt straps don't allow enough slack for me to get my babes arms in and out easily and they do not cinch as easily as my previous carrier. Inner seat: Super light and an added convenience for short trips out or to a store where you don't need/want to get a cart. I'm a 6' mama and found the cross body strap really wasn't long enough for me to wear comfortably, but found wearing the inner carrier on my shoulder was still convenient. Would be perfect and super convenient for newborns and the young months. The release button for the inner carrier from the car seat was tricky to find at times, but that could just be me. Overall: Wish the weight limit was higher. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel when my son was just turning four months old. He's a big boy, and will outgrow sooner than others with higher weight limits. I love the innovation this car seat has to make a necessary product a little more user friendly, but found myself triple checking that I had the inner carrier secured correctly to the car seat and the car seat secured correctly to the base, one more step to worry about for me.

We absolutely love this car seat. It is so soft and safe for our baby. My favorite feature is shoulder strap with nesting. You carry only a part of the seat which is very light and carrying it on the shoulder makes it very light and easy. Because of this, you can carry a baby for really a long time. Must have for parents who have to carry baby with them outside for longer period of time. It's very easy to remove it from base and also very easy to buckle and unbuckle. The canopy is wonderful feature as well, and is long so it'll definitely cover baby's face. I also love the fabric. It is soft, unlike a lot of plastic-feeling seats, but it's washable so it's easy to clean. The design is so smart and fashionable. Overall, amazing infant seat and I highly recommend! This car seat is definitely top of the line when it comes to convenience and comfort level. My favorite feature (besides the inner carrier) is the material and padding inside the seat. My infant looks like he is so comfortable and I don't worry about him being uncomfortable if he falls asleep while we drive. It's like memory foam in a car seat! I really like the Maxi Cosi Coral XP infant seat. It has all the safety features I desire, plus conveniences I didn't even think I would want! The light inner carrier was the BEST. I could carry it multiple ways and it didn't hurt my arm. I always complained how heavy and cumbersome our previous seat was, but no complaints about that now! I received the seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but the opinions are my own. Pros: The inner carrier is light weight and easy to carry. I can use the two side handles to carry by hand. I can comfortably put my arm through the straps and hold at my elbow like a handbag. If my hands are full, I use the crossbody strap wh The load leg adds another level of safety I haven't had before. The quick guide and stickers on the base give you all the information you need to safely install the car seat. I hate reading an entire instruction manual right when I get an item. I was able to install the seat and then read the manual later for the rest of the details. The base self tightens as you push down on it and lets you know when it's level and tight. So no more climbing into the back of car and struggling to pull straps tight! The padding inside provides nice head support without being too tight or hot. The padding on the inner carrier removes, washes, and reattaches beautifully. Easily washable is huge with a baby that spits-up a lot. Cons The canopy doesn't open and close well with the crossbody strap on. It also was difficult to install. Kept popping off when I bumped it taking the seat in and out of the car. Sometimes the inner carrier doesn't want to easily snap back into the outer carrier and I have to lift it in and out a couple of times. It wasn't a big deal once I got in the habit of checking it. It seems about average in width when installed in the car, but I had to move the passenger seat forward further than with our previous seat. The weight limit is lower than most seats.

When it comes to car seats, it seems like there can be very little new to them until Maxi Cosi came out with this awesome new design! Both my daughters hate being in the car so anytime a car seat can make it a little easier is a big win in my opinion. I was excited to try the seat to see if it would improve car rides even just a little. I am happy to report that it did. Most important for me is that my baby seems to like it pretty well. Like I said, she doesn't love the car but would fall asleep in this car seat pretty quickly after some fussing and seemed to be much more comfortable than in her previous seat. To begin, the installation was straightforward, and my husband was able to install it in it about five minutes. It fit easily in our midsize SUV, and I love that there is a load leg as an additional safety feature. There are clear guidelines to show if the base is correctly installed. Which brings me to another important point, the owners manual covers everything! I had trouble with a previous seat for my other daughter. This manual is much clearer and has better instruction. As for the seat itself, the inner carrier design is ingenious. I found it perfect for times when I needed to run into the store but didn't want to put baby in a structured carrier or have to carry her in the whole seat. The inner seat pops out easily with the push of a button and away you go. It allows you to keep your hands free with the cross body strap and is so much more light weight than carrying the entire seat. When having lifting restrictions this is especially important to me. Also with the current distancing guidelines, the inner carrier makes it easy to keep your baby right next to you. I like both the handles and the Crossbody strap, but I tend to use the crossbody more. This car seat looks nice and wipes up easily. The inner infant insert makes it more comfy for small babies. I received this infant car seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. The removable inner carrier component of the car seat is a very interesting concept, but the design is flawed. For example, the inner carrier component uses the two side straps to carry. It works great if using two hands, but as a mom with 3 kids, it isn't practical to have both hands available to carry an item. I wasn't comfortable using only one hand to carry both straps because I was afraid I would lose my grip on one of the straps and the carrier would lean heavily to one side with my baby inside. The other design flaw that I found was that removing the inner carrier component required two hands which again, isn't practical for a mom of 3. The cross body strap was awkward for me. It could be because I am short (5'1""), but it felt like the only place the baby could carry comfortably was directly in front of me, as opposed to on my side like a cross body bag. With the baby in front of me, the baby bounced quite a bit and didn't seem to care for it. On the positive side, this carrier was very light weight. If they could figure out a way to incorporate a hard handle for the inner carrier component, I think it would be much easier to carry with one hand and peace of mind. Overall, great concept but lacking in the design.

First thing I noticed was how light this car seat is, even with the hard outer shell. Most car seats feel heavy without the baby, so add baby and it's very heavy. I really loved that you can take the soft inner shell out and carry the baby without the outer shell. Very convenient for quick trips! It does have a shoulder strap but this wasn't super comfortable for me. It is a very sleek looking seat as well, I have the graphite color which I love! My baby seemed to really like the seat as well, the infant pillows are very helpful to keep super little ones snug. The seat was easy to install, especially the base. It's a little difficult to adjust the strap height but overall easy. Love this car seat, definitely my favorite feature is being able to remove the inner soft carrier for a little lighter load. We loved this game changing car seat with the removable carrier inner insert! The car seat was easy to install in two SUVs with the latch system and our baby was very comfortable riding. The carrier made it easy to run errands and compared to hauling the entire seat was incredibly lightweight. I loved how easy it was to pop in and out! We tried the crossbody carry with the shoulder strap, but I never felt steady to truly go hands free, as our baby kept rolling towards me. Since I am petite, we had my much taller brother in law try it too, but he wasn't very comfortable with the strap either. So we ditch the strap and just use the padded handles to move around town! The Maxi Cosi Coral XP infant seat is very versatile, which is so unique in a car seat. I absolutely love that there is an inner carrier that is even lighter than the standard full carrier seat. I am a petite person and the fact that there is an even lighter way to carry my baby is a huge plus. The inner carrier weighs practically nothing. The soft padded carry handles were perfect looped on my arm or just carrying in my hand, but the added crossbody strap is a nice option to have as a more hands free option. This is my favorite way to carry my baby in this car seat. The seat overall is so sleek looking. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and keeps my baby cool. The sunshade is large and has significant coverage which is another great feature. The base was easy to install. Directions being printed directly on the base is convenient, and so are the red/green indicators telling you whether the incline is correct. I also appreciate the stability leg which definitely helped keep the car seat from shifting. The buckles and adjustments were easy to figure out and my baby always seemed comfortable with the shoulder straps super padded for extra comfort. It would be nice if the strap between the legs was a little longer or adjustable, since my baby is on the tall side, but overall it fit her well. My baby is already 27" long and I just wish we'd be able to use this wonderful car seat for longer than we'll be able to. I'm a second time parent. We were previously using our eldest child's basic infant seat that came as a travel system with a stroller. It got the job done, but once she outgrew the infant insert, she didn't seem very comfortable. But we didn't really want to move her to a convertible car seat just yet. Pros: - Very attractive styling. - Looks very comfortable and safe. - Installing base is super easy and quick. - Absolutely love the automatic tightening with the latch system; this right here is my favorite feature and would be enough to make me buy it. I hate hate hate fighting to tighten the straps manually. - The load leg makes the install super sturdy. - Shoulder strap and tote straps on inner carrier are extremely thoughtful. Makes it much easier to get both kids and a diaper bag to the car in one trip. - One button release on the chest clip. Cons (not many!): - Tight fit behind driver in my car compared to our other infant seat; had to move baby behind the passenger seat even though I'm only 5'5" and drive a Ford Explorer. - Inner carrier can be a bit awkward to get out at times. I received this infant seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have 3 children, a niece, have babysat for lots of infants, and have spent my entire 11 year nursing career as a postpartum/ nursery nurse, so I have owned and dealt with a multitude of infant seats. As soon as the seat arrived at our home, I unpackaged it and started reading the included manual and was so very impressed with how innovative and different it was from the many previous seats I have used and owned. The removable inner carrier component with the soft padded carry handles is SO convenient for carrying baby and so much lighter and more comfortable than the large plastic single handle of most infant seats. These were my absolute favorite part of this seat. Several times I would be standing in line at a store or elsewhere and would gently swing him using these handles and he would settle and drift off to sleep. Also, I am a rather small framed individual and when I carry typical infant seats, I feel like they always bump into my hips/legs while I carry them. This seat does not do that due to the setup of the handles. I also used the crossbody strap, which is very easy to put on and remove from the seat. The strap is very well padded and is very strong, thick elastic cord. It has a lot of bounce to it, so that as baby is being carried it has a bouncing/rocking motion that baby seemed to enjoy. Even with the significant padding, my neck/shoulder would only be comfortable with this carry method for short periods, such as running in somewhere to grab an iced coffee, pick up a few items, or carry baby into an appointment, etc. The base was easy to install in my van and felt very secure with the added stability of the load leg. My only disappointment about this eat is that it only had a 22 lb weight limit vs most of the other infant seats I have owned and used which go up to at least 30 lbs. Awesome seat, just wish I could use longer!

I've spent many, perhaps too many, hours researching carseats. So when I received this carseat (thanks Stellar Product Testing Panel!), I was intrigued yet skeptical. But believe me when I say that this thing is ingenious -- it makes me wonder why no one has come up with this type of design before. It has an "inner shell" that easily removes from the "outer shell," the part which actually inserts into the carseat base. This design makes it possible to have an extremely lightweight way to transport baby to-and-from the car. And as a mom of two, I can tell you that weight of the carseat is one of, if not the most, important things to consider when picking out a carseat. Add on the cross-body strap, and you have pretty much the perfect carseat. It also comes with soft padded handles, but I didn't find myself using those as much. The cross-body strap was extremely comfortable (even with a 16 lb baby), and easy to use. In addition, the install of the carseat was by far the easiest I've ever encountered. Super simple and straightforward, and I think for first-time parents, this is crucial. It's also comfortable for my average sized baby girl, and it was easy to get her in and out of it. The fabric also feels very high quality. The only possible negative I can think of is if happens to not be compatible with your stroller of choice; otherwise, this carseat is tough to beat.

The removable inner carrier part of this car seat with the crossbody strap was definitely innovative in design however use of the crossbody strap for daily use did not seem practical for me. I don't leave the house without my baby bag which is a backpack. Wearing a backpack, an over the shoulder baby bag or even a purse is already a lot of weight pulling on a mother's shoulders. Add an crossbody baby carrier to that and the constricting straps are multiplied in uncomfortability. I did like that the shoulder strap incorporated a spring tension meant to adjust to your body and movement. However, the crossbody strap overall just didn't feel comfortable when worn on my very petite frame. Although not ideal for me, I can see this being beneficial for others. Although the car seat base is on the heavy side, the inner carrier is beyond lightweight. This was my favorite design feature as I loved using the handle straps of the baby carrier. The handle straps were soft and very padded which made carrying very easy. The car seat quality was very nice; it was soft, very cushioned, and my baby sat snug without any discomfort. This carseat is clearly on the higher end of the price range and it really shows. The materials feel much more expensive and luxurious than I expected. I was fortunate to receive this carseat for free from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We found it easy to install using the included instructions. I was concerned at first because it didn't seem to have the same head supports I was expecting. Our baby was just a few weeks old when we tested the seat so this was especially important. I realized once we actually installed it (vs trying it on the floor of the living room) that it tips at such an angle inside the car that it is more supportive than it first appears. This seat shines with the unique removable inner carrier. You can carry it with the handles or across your body. We preferred using the handles and found the cross body carry awkward. It is very, very light and really makes it easier if you are someone that carries your baby in/out of the house or to appointments this way. My only complaint is that, for me, the "travel system" is the name of the game. Since I already had a travel system, I find myself reaching more for my previous seat. But, if you're in the market and also like the stroller that goes with this seat, you can't go wrong!

Love that it's the Cadillac of infant car seats with so many innovations, but with innovations that I actually use. Love that it's a car seat and integrated inner nesting carrier so you can take just take the inner carrier (weighs 5 pounds only) out with a push of a button. So much less disruptive if you have a baby sleeping to keep it in the seat to go in and out of places. And faster in colder weather! The cross body strap helps distribute the weight and the padded shoulder is comforting. Easy to install in the car and you can tell it's secure with the MaxLock system. If you use it as a traditional stroller it's easy to remove from the car seat base, and easy to securely click into a stroller. Love that it's very easy to clean, including the machine washable removable cover. Keeps my baby cool, even when it's hot and humid. Plenty of comfy cushioning around the head and neck to keep even the smallest baby comfortable. We've been moving around easier and lighter than ever with this. We received this Maxi Cosi Coral XP infant car seat to try and it is a game changer!! I truly wish these were on the market when my now twin toddlers were infants. Taking them in/out of daycare using the soft handle carry or crossbody mode would have been so much easier than lugging two heavy infant seats. Now with our new baby it allows us to get to and from our daily errands with ease and no need to disturb her in the process by using our favorite soft padded handle carry mode. I LOVE the idea of this car seat. In practice it leaves something to be desired, however it's still a good enough and delivers practical value to be worth the money. I'll never go back to another car seat. The removable inner carrier is a GAME. CHANGER. It's light and makes carrying your baby into daycare, a store, or otherwise a breeze. I always dread lugging a car seat and this isn't like that at all! It's also compact so more convenient to put in a grocery cart. The downside on the carrier is I had a little trouble getting it in and out of the car seat. It took some finagling. Also, I found the handles to be a weird length and the cross body to be a little too stretchy, but because it's light it wasn't that big of a deal. I actually never take the full car seat out of the car (just the carrier), which is good because the handle on the actual car seat isn't very comfortable to carry. Perhaps our favorite feature was the self latching base. It was so simple to install (my husband won't stop talking about it). Our little one liked the seat. It seems like the straps may be a little closer together than other seats so it rubs his neck a little, but that may not be the car seat. Overall, I love this car seat. We loved the inner carrier that makes transitioning in and out of the car a breeze. Our little one is comfortable and fall asleep super fast in the seat. I personally love the cross body strap to carry our little on in this seat and it is definitely my favorite feature. The seat was super simple and easy to use. This is a super product.

I was super excited to get this car seat & had high expectations for the brand. When you take it out of the box it looks lovely! I really wanted to love the inner shell cross body carry strap but, it was very uncomfortable on my shoulder and neck. It's not comfortable! When it wasn't in use the strap (which is semi rigid) feels awkwardly in the way. I ended up taking the crossbody strap off the shell and used the inner straps.... by putting my forearm thru them. Also you can not expect to ride share anywhere and just pop in and out because the inner shell alone cannot be used in a car alone. You HAVE to attach the inner shell back to the outer part that can then be buckled into a car on its own (or with the base of course!) BUT by having to use the outer shell you add back all the weight and more you probably wanted to avoid.... so you have to then throw it all on the stroller! It was very frustrating for me to not have the options to move about the way it's advertised. Also there is no canopy on the inner shell! The standard carry handle is on the larger outer shell piece along with the canopy. That being said the canopy is very flimsy and doesn't actually come out enough to give baby adequate protection. Mine came out of the box with fabric twisted and the whole thing lopsided. But again I feel at this price point they missed the mark! The seat fabric is very thin and there is zero padding under baby's bottom and not much anywhere if you remove newborn pad. There is a hard plastic ridge along the seat where baby's legs/bottom is and another across the back... they're shockingly prominent imo! I've never had ridges like this on the baby side of a car seat! At this price point I expect more NOT less comfort and padding! It's almost like they completely forgot that inner shell is where your baby is going to be.... seriously no styrofoam, no padded materials! This thing is a back saver! I can't believe this hasn't been thought of before now. The most important thing to me in a car seat, besides the obvious safety, is it's weight. The lighter the better because I carry my babies everywhere in these. I thought I had a light car seat until I felt the maxi cosi coral XP. The removable insert is ingenious for not only the weight but the ability to carry it so much easier. I've had back problems from carrying my car seat in the traditional way and the XP's design has saved my back! The flexible handles and the shoulder strap are so much easier to carry and make my 18 pound baby manageable to carry. To be honest I wish I could hug whoever came up with this design. The Maxi Cosi Coral XP has got to be the coolest infant car seat I have ever seen! It's so different from any other car seat on the market right now. I was fortunate enough to receive one of these seats as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The seat is definitely a game changer for parents. It has an outer carrier that can be removed from the inner car seat carrier and baby can be carried in it using the two padded carry handles or a crossbody strap. I wasn't sure if I would like the Crossbody strap, but I actually found it to be surprisingly comfortable. I like that it can free up my hands to do other things. Having this lighter weight carrying option is so convenient. I have trouble with my wrist so using the padded carry handles was way more comfortable than carrying the entire seat. I'm not currently bringing the baby into the stores because of Covid, but when I need to run a quick errand it's been nice not to have to lug the whole car seat with me. I can just pop the carrier out of the car seat shell and be on my way. It's also great and much easier to manage when you don't have a stroller handy, or need to climb a flight of stairs. The padded insert is also nice as it can easily be removed and machine washed & dried if soiled. Installing the seat was very easy. There is a guide with numbered steps right on the base. I've never installed a seat with a load leg before, but this couldn't have been easier. It was very quick and the indicators on the seat base show GREEN to ensure it is installed properly. What a great safety feature! The built in lock off is another great feature that made installing the base super easy. This seat can also be installed with out the base for traveling, for instance if you need to grab a taxi or Uber. This seat is nearly perfect. One feature I wish it had is a canopy on the outer carrier to keep the sun out of baby's eyes. Other than that, I absolutely love this seat. I will definitely be telling all my

I'll start with this: I really like this car seat! I received it as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It solves the problem of a giant, heavy piece of plastic swinging awkwardly against your legs while you struggle with the keys/your bags/your other child. The inner is light and small enough that it's portable even with the addition of a chunky baby. I love the retractable padded handles; they're convenient and comfortable, and my baby likes to grab them. I often babywear, but this seat saved me on occasions when I forgot a carrier or needed a safe place for baby while sitting down myself or chasing after my toddler. I didn't quite get the hang of the cross body strap, however. Installation was easy and only required a little pushing down on the base when using the latch system. There was no ambiguity about it being in correctly or tightly enough. I also appreciate that it has a load leg to absorb extra impact in the event of a collision. It's a pretty substantial, safe feeling infant seat. Along those lines, it's pretty bulky. I couldn't install it next to my toddler's convertible seat without them touching, so I had to reconfigure. It also takes up a fair amount of front to back space, so it's not ideal for a smaller vehicle. Another downside, and the reason I didn't give it five stars, is the 22 lb weight limit; larger babies would outgrow it before their first birthday. As a bonus, the canopy on the outer shell is nice (though I had to finish assembling mine), it's attractively designed, and the inner doesn't take up much space sitting around the house. Overall, I like this seat a lot and it has fully replaced my old one.

I was given this infant seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Maxi Cosi Coral XP infant carseat has an inner carrier is easily removed from the main carseat and can be carried multiple ways. Let me tell ya'll this is a game changer. The crossbody/shoulder carry made school drop offs and pick ups much easier and allowed me to have free hands for other important things. So much better than lugging around the full carseat in the nook if my arm.

I'll admit, I had never heard of the brand Maxi Cosi, so when I received the carseat through the Stellar Testing Panel, I could only compare it to the carseats we had from our first baby. I was impressed with the color (we chose coral) and the quality of the fabric and how cosy the carseat looked. I also was a huge fan of the fact that the carseat cover came off super easily compared to other brands, so washing it was not a huge deal (as all parents know who have sweated furiously over putting together the carseat again after washing). The carseat lifts out of the carrier to revel a very light and portable carrier, which was amazing as I had just had my second c-section. I wished that we had this carseat when leaving the hospital!!! However, I will say that it does take some finesse to get the carseat out of the carrier base from the car - its something about the angle you have to pull up on while holding the straps together AND pushing the button below the carseat, but as always, practice makes perfect. I put together and used the strap once or twice, but I did not find carrying the baby in the carrier with the strap the most comfortable and honestly, it got too heavy. I wished the strap was a little longer. Actually, it seems that by 6 months, baby is getting a little big for the carseat. Initially he enjoyed the snug fit (like I said, it looked so cosy!) but now that he is bigger, it almost feels a little torturous to wrestle him in there (he's only in the 67th percentile). He gets hot rather easily in it but he does enjoy holding onto the soft handles. Overall my favorite feature of this carseat was the inner carrier. It light, it has nice material, and its cute. I wish it was compatible with my stroller!

We love our car seat love the inner carrier love that I could take it out of the actual car seat using the strap to use it as a cross body was the best no more hurting my back or arm thank to stellar panel for giving me the opportunity to test it

This car seat is so neat! I LOVE the removable inner carrier, as it's so much lighter and compact to bring into the house from the garage. I'm small and not particularly strong , and I can transport my 11 pound baby with one hand using the side handles, whereas with my previous car seat I had to use both hands, because it's both heavier and bigger. I do need to use the whole seat when at the park with my older ones if I want to use the canopy, though. But the handles make it so easier to move the seat that it's not a problem. It also fits into my older strollers from other brands. I wasn't able to thoroughly test the cross-body strap as I don't live in the city anymore, but I would have loved this 5 years ago! Another feature that I LOVE, especially compared to my previous seat, is that the base installs so easily with the LATCH system. No need to fight with the straps; I only needed to push down on the base and they wound up automatically, and I knew it was correctly installed via green/red indicators. Everything was a breeze to install and I almost didn't need the instructions manual. Finally, my little one looks very comfortable in this seat! First of all, you can tell this is a high-quality car seat the second you open the box! The fabric is incredibly plush and durable - meaning it's extremely comfortable for my little one. The biggest factor that separates this car seat from any others is the carrier nesting system. I've never used anything like it and I was a big fan! The inner carrier easily separates from the rest of the car seat, making a run into the grocery store quick and easy. I loved the ability to carry the car seat using the crossbody strap, giving me the ability to have free hands (aka wrangle the toddler!) Plus, it's always nice when car seat installation is a breeze. I used the LATCH system to get the base secure in my car and it was easy to do! Plus, having the ability to use the baseless install when she needed to go for a quick ride in dad's car was a joy. The Maxi Cosi Coral XP Infant Car Seat is so light and easy to tote around! With having a toddler and a newborn, I need something light and easy. I love how comfortable the straps to hold it are. They stretch when you pick up the seat, so they aren't still or uncomfortable to hold onto. The shoulder strap is also super convenient. I love that Maxi Cosi really thought of everything with this seat! We had originally planned on skipping the infant seat because the hard plastic handles are so uncomfortable and the seats are bulky. The Maxi Cosi Coral XP is none of those things! The install was extremely simple! The little stabilized leg for the front made it seem extra secure in its place. It is really easy to get the seat in and out of the car. The cover also comes off for washing really easily. I am super thankful that Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me this seat to try out. It has been a dream for crazy daycare and preschool dropoffs. It is so great I would pay for it 10 times over again. There isn't a seat on the market that compares!

We have really enjoyed the Coral XP seat, the baby appears to be very secure and comfortable in the seat. The removable inner seat had a number of excellent benefits for me. It's much lighter and less bulky than maneuvering a full, hard shell seat. The hand straps made for a much more natural carrying experience compared to traditional car seats. The shoulder strap is an excellent addition when you want to keep baby in the seat without the stroller, or don't want to transfer to another body carrier. Instillation was very quick and easy, more so than the Keyfit (which I still considered easy). Once level the excess straps almost auto-retract rather than tugging at the strap. My only wish is that it had a higher weight limit. Overall very satisfied. I received this car seat as part of Stellar Product Testing Panel.
