i ordered this for my son because it was unlike any of the mobiles i've ever seen. he really wasn't interested in any that i'd shown him. i love the bright colors. however, the way it attaches to the crib really isn't safe. the wooden "screw" stick out too far, && it would absolutely hurt a child if they bumped their head into it. i couldn't believe that it actually worked that way. my son absolutely LOVES to look at it though. i'm not entirely sure why they call it a mobile, when it isn't mobile at all. lol. you have to move it for them. i don't know about anyone else's child, but mine doesn't like looking at anything stationary. i knew that when i ordered it though. just think it would be awesome if they made one that actually moves.
