Great Stroller! Great customer service!
December 31, 2015
Before I give my review on the Maclaren Triumph, I just have to say how happy I am with Albee Baby! This is my first time ordering from you guys and I must say that I am highly satisfied! I ordered the stroller early morning December 30th, and my stroller has already arrived today, December 31st at 10:30am! I cannot believe that it came so quickly! Great job guys! I am recommending to you to every parent/parent to be that I know! Now, for the Maclaren Triumph! I originally had bought the Maclaren Volo but had to return it. My 6 month old daughter looked very uncomfortable and slouched when she fell asleep in it. Being that we live in busy Brooklyn, do go out a lot, and she does spend a lot of time in the stroller which she loves sleeping in, I decided that I just had to get the Triumph! The recline is GREAT. It doesn't lay flat but it is perfect for a tired baby who wants to take a nap. My daughter fell asleep literally within 15 minutes of sitting her in it for the first time. It's very lightweight! I am pregnant, and our Graco travel system was becoming too much of a hassle, even without the car seat. The seat has great support. It folds up easily. It is overall a great stroller. And the price I got it for with Albee Baby beat everyone else! I am a very happy mommy! I will definitely be considering the Triumph double stroller once baby #2 fits in it. Thank you guys for the great experience!
Pros
  • Recline
  • Weight
  • Durability
Best Uses
  • Recline is great if you have a baby who tends to nap in the stroller. Lightweight and easy to carry.
Cons
  • None!

Compact, light, fully functional
December 31, 2015
I bought the triumph because its a light weight stroller that folds using 1 swift movement. I live in NYC and use the subway with the baby, so the easy collapse in addition to having the strap to carry up and down the stairs is helpful. This stroller is durable, has a sun protected and it reclines. 2 very important features.
Pros
  • Sun protector, reclining seat, under seat cargo
Best Uses
  • Travel, everyday use
Cons
  • Price, though Albee had a good price

Best umbrella stroller
October 3, 2015
I recently purchased a baby cargo umbrella stroller and it was the worst experience I ever had with a stroller. I've heard so many great reviews about the maclaren strollers from my neighbors and friends....they were not kidding, it's the best umbrella stroller you can get. It's so much easier to take the bus or train with this stroller I really recommend if you take public transportation all the time.

I'm a big fan of the Maclaren brand. When my new Triumph arrived, I loved it! It was exactly what I was looking for. This is the first time I've ordered through Albee Baby and it was a great experience. The price couldn't be beat (I shopped around for months), it arrived quickly, great condition, A+. This stroller is sturdy, built to last. I have three boys,we are rough on our things, that's why I decided to invest a little more on an umbrella stroller. This stroller is so comfty that I'm getting rid of my full size Graco. This is all I need. If there is one downfall, it's the weight. The volo weighs 7 pounds (but doesn't recline), this one weighs 13 pounds. If it were just a couple of pounds lighter, it would be perfect. I'm a mom of 3, my advice is to get a light weight stoller from the beginning and avoid the big travel systems altogether.I have 4 strollers but all I need is this one. This triumph will be used as the primary stroller for years.
Pros
  • Sturdy
  • Reclines
  • Easy to clean
  • Easy to manuever
  • Handle positioning
  • Lightweight
  • One hand fold
  • Carrying strap
Cons
  • Although it's lightweight, it could be a few pounds lighter.

Great stroller
July 18, 2015
I bought this stroller for my 3 yo to use when we travel or are out and about. It is great: lightweight as the cheap umbrella ones but with all the features of the more Expensive strollers. It is very easy to maneuver even when using it with an older child and can be reclined almost flat. The new reclining system with a strap on the back of the seat is easy to use, and can be done with one hand. Overall. Great product, great price with the maclaren design that is always beautiful.
Pros
  • Lightweight, easy to fold, easy to steer, reclines
Best Uses
  • To use when travelling, for toddlers upto 6 year olds.

Easy to use
July 11, 2015
Very happy with my purchase of the Maclaren Triumph. It is light weight, folds flat (enough), and easy to carry. The basket is small, yes, but I found that all umbrella strollers are lacking in basket space. The canopy is not nearly as bad as I had read. It is pretty good for an umbrella! I like the tall handles. It pushes very well and I can easily steer with one hand if necessary. My kid is comfortable, and seems to like riding in this stroller. Quick set up and collapse which is nice! Overall 5*****.

LOVE this stroller! Bought it to replace a larger travel system stroller (Britax B Agile) and my son seems so much more comfortable in this stroller! Easy to push and steer. Comfortable for both my husband (6 ft) and me (5 ft 6 in) to push.

A great stroller got even better
June 13, 2015
I bought the same stroller 9 years ago and it lasted for all of this time, through 2 children. Now it's on my third child and it was very dirty, and I didn't want to invest money to replace the wheels, so I was in the market for a new umbrella stroller for the bus, car, subway, looked up reviews, and nearly 10 years later, the maclaren triumph is still the top rated umbrella stroller. I couldn't be happier with this newer version of the triumph, there are so many things that are better than the old version. It has a deeper recline, a more gradual recline, bigger sunshade, easier to brake and easier to fold. It's a fantastic lightweight stroller. Only thing that I would improve on is the weight, when traveling by bus, I wish it was even lighter and more compact, but I chose triumph over the volo because I need sunshade and recline. If I am out all day, my child needs to take a nap. Albees has always been great as well. In the store, They always know their baby products so well, and can fix absolutely anything. Online they have been quick and efficient. I am always happy to support this store.
Pros
  • Recline is great, sunshade is good
Best Uses
  • Lightweight Umbrella stroller for short walks, car, bus, subway.

It is light and easy to use. You can open and close it with one hand. You can easily drive it with one hand. The feet don't touch the weels when you are walking. The lenght seat is not so much compare to other stroller but it is enought to be confortable. I am satisfacted of my purchase!

After having a travel system I wanted something lighter to travel with my 1 year old and two kids. This stroller has made it easy for me to travel via NYC transportation with its light weight and strap to carry on when needed to be folded. The stroller came ready to use and super easy to fold and unfold. Will definitely buy this stroller again!!!

Modest Buy
August 20, 2013
I like this stroller, however, I did have higher expectations considering its brand. The drive is smooth on various terrains (rode on bumpy sidewalks). It also comes with the rain cover, and the hood is waterproof. My biggest disappointment is in not having a window view on the hood. Also, the hood is too easy to detach; In fact, one or both sides of the slide-on hood will completely detach when I open/close the stroller - which makes for an increasingly annoying, sometimes embarrassing experience. I don't think the easy detachable hood was thoroughly thought - I would have created a way to lock the hood in place once the sides slid on.
Pros
  • The drive is smooth on various terrains
Best Uses
  • only one hand needed to unlock the safety harness
Cons
  • - no window view on the hood, no pockets for storing keys, etc.
  • - one or both sides of the slide-on hood will completely detach when I open/close the stroller

Great lightweight stroller
August 6, 2013
I bought this stroller to use for a recent vacation and for quick trips around town and have been very happy with it so far. It is lightweight, easy to fold and unfold quickly and maneuvers very well. The recline is also a great feature not found on many umbrella strollers. I gave it four stars because the canopy is pretty small and doesn't do much for sun coverage. Overall though I think it's a great stroller.
Pros
  • Lightweight
  • Easy to fold
  • Good quality
Best Uses
  • Travel
  • Day trips
Cons
  • Poor sun coverage

Great Stroller
August 1, 2013
Great quality. Extremely lightweight. Folds easily. Easy to wipe off/clean. Can push with one hand if needed. The net underneath is small. This is a drawback. I did fit dipers/wipes/sippy cup and some food items but it was tight. For this, I purchased the accessory bag to put on the back, which I love. It does not fully recline. However, it is enough for the little one to sleep. I had a hard time rationalizing spending this kind of money for an umbrella stroller, but it has been well worth it thus far.

April 25, 2013
Love this smaller umbrella stroller...nearly 12lbs it's easy to maneuver, fold up and go. I have a VERY small car and this fits nicely in the trunk.
Pros
  • Lightweight, sleek and easy to push with one hand.
Cons
  • Small, cheap materials basket. Sun cover clips too easily slide off.

Lightweight but poor quality
March 25, 2013
I purchased this stroller in blue, seven months ago. While the stroller is lightweight and folds up nicely, the seat has ripped, the rain cover has ripped, and the under seat basket is falling off and the stroller pulls to the right. Maclaren's "warranty" requires me to take the stroller to a repair center to have it fixed, instead of just sending a replacement seat cover. traveling 45 minutes to a repair center is not worth my time, so I'm going back to my heavier but sturdier Baby Jogger City Mini.
Pros
  • Lightweight, extremely portable, and folds up nicely.
Cons
  • Useless under seat basket, and poor construction and customer service.

Bought the stroller for our first trip to Disney and it was awesome! Now I use it as our everyday stroller, too. My 3 1/2 yr old son enjoys it and says he is comfortable! I highly recommend.
Pros
  • -the snap on the seatbelt-smart toddler not strong enough to unbuckle himself!
  • -folds and carries easily
  • -steers great with one hand

Stroller
January 22, 2012
Overall, super cute stroller! It definitely doesn't seem like a sturdy/ durable stroller for the price it costs also, the storage area is super hard to get anything in or out of.
Pros
  • We bought this item for the purple color and it being light weight
Cons
  • It wasn't very sturdy and didn't seem to be built to last. It seemed more like a $50 stroller. The sun canopy is flimsy and attached poorly. The storage basket is hard to get anything in or out of

Great Stroller & Fast Service
June 16, 2011
First of all I did not know what to expect when I placed my order on June 13 2011 being that the item was so heavily discounted. I thought something had to be wrong but after reading Albee's return policy I figured I had nothing to lose. Well they exceeded my expectations - not only did I receive my purchase within two days from placing my order (I live on the EC in NY) but the box was immaculate, as was the internal packaging and the stroller smelled like a brand new car lol - that was how pristine everything was. Also the item came with full certification manuel (as it should but as I stated before being that it was discounted you think something would be missing). The package was easy to track thanks to Albee's email update that includes the tracking info for UPS. A brilliant experience and my little one loves his stroller after test-driving it around the house he promptly fell asleep in it. The stroller is lightweight and compact being that it's new the joint's to break buggy down are a little stiff but that is to be expected. I wish I had this stroller a couple months ago, my little one is 7 months old even his dad likes this stroller as he doesn't have to haunch over it and he's 6'2.
Pros
  • Color
  • Lightweight
  • Easy to drive/navigate
  • It's exactly as described

Great deal
October 20, 2010
Bought this stroller for trip to East coast. My 12 month old looked comfortable. We were pleased that we could take the stroller all the way to the gate (if you get anything but an umbrella stroller, I believe that you will be made to check it in like luggage...meaning you will be carrying your little one through the airport!). We pushed our daughter in this stroller from one end of Central Park to the other; we noticed that most of the other kids were in some sort of Maclaren. The brown color is dark as mentioned in other review and the pink piping is hot pink. I think it's cute for a little girl and not too girly for my hubby to push. BTW, my hubby commented that he thought the stroller was awesome because you can push it with one hand and it still goes straight (on smooth surfaces). The hinge covers are included in the box.
Customer Images
Pros
  • -quality construction and quality material
  • -rolls smoothly
  • -excellent price for a Maclaren
Cons
  • -does not really get very flat even when fully reclined
  • -seems heavy for an umbrella stroller (but, this is only a slight dislike as I really like the quality of the stroller overall)

color little different and has recall adapters
May 21, 2010
Was a little upset that this is not a new model stroller and it still has the covers (due to recall) that goes over the hinges. I was ordering this to replace an older model. Those covers cause an issue folding down and do not match this fabric. Also the color is so dark brown is is almost black and the pink is hot pink not the soft pink it looks like
