Very well made stroller!
October 16, 2012
My February 2012 edition of the Maclaren Quest is made of superior fabric and aluminum, compared to the Uppababy G Luxe - and other top strollers. The fabric is also a heavier gauge, rain-proof material as compared with the latest model Maclaren Quest. My model even came with an extra well padded, removable, washable seat and back cushion, beautifully coordinated with the pencil grey and celery green color scheme of the stroller. The stroller also came with a color coordinated rain cover. The two handed seat, fold-back, mechanism is really not a problem as compared with the one-handed mechanism of the latest model. Though the February, 2012 model does not fully recline, it does recline to four positions, which is fully adequate for infants over three months. The $169.99 sale was well worth the price of the stroller.
Pros
- The things I most like about the Maclaren Quest is its superior structural integrity and lightness. I also like the fact that it has a convenient shoulder strap as well has a carrying handle.
Cons
- A movable Sun shade, which extends to sufficiently cover baby from overhead Sun would have made the Maclaren Quest a perfect stroller.
