Great stoller
July 16, 2016
I've used our stroller maybe 6 times and the seat has already ripped from the seams (the corner where the back of child's leg rests). I understand after some wear and tear this could happen, but we havnt even used it but a handful of times. I love this stroller, its perfect, just very disappointed to pay that price and it ripped already.

Great double stroller
June 20, 2016
This really is a great double stroller. The seats seem comfortable and recline independently. The bar is a great addition that can be left on or removed to make the fold of the stroller more streamlined. The canopy is very large and provides shade to almost the entire stroller in all settings. The storage underneath is unheard of. It easy holds two fully stuffed backpacks with room to spare. It was a great stroller to use at Disney World and the neighborhood. The pockets within the seats are great for snack containers, cups or toys that kids might not be playing with at the time. You have to make sure the seats are reclined before folding it up all the way. IMPROVEMENTS: This is hardly a deal breaker, but I would prefer the sun canopy to be separate for each seat. I have no idea what goes into that or if it's possible, but with a taller girl on one side, she often wanted it raised higher so she could see, but that meant her younger sister was getting sun in her eyes which wasn't appreciated. It would also be great if there were carrying handles inside the seats so when you fold the stroller you could easily carry in with handles. It's a little awkward to carry in the folded position (and you have to fold it up on the Disney World buses).

Best Bang for your Buck
June 10, 2016
We needed a lightweight double (seems like an oxymoron, right!?) that could handle our baby twins and toddler (2 at a time, anyway), and the ScooterX2 did the trick! I love love love the huge canopy and basket, the storage pockets in the back are super convenient as well! It has a great push, very comfortable for me at 5'8". The break is easy to tap on and off with your foot, however its placement makes bumping it up or down stairs impossible and also makes attaching a toddler board in the back a no-go. Other than that, it's a fabulous stroller, comfy for babies and toddlers alike with great recline for napping and nice vertical position for sight seeing. Fun color options, and amazing price point! All around great choice for a double!!

Love it!
June 8, 2016
I purchased my X2 a few weeks ago and was very pleased with the quick shipping! The instructions weren't complicated at all, but switching between the two books and constantly rotating the pages in the picture book to ascertain correct assembly was annoying. I think the shade could be improved by making it a double layer so that less light seeps through. The sun is brutal in Florida. Love the reflective bits on the stroller. Excellent safety feature! I was skeptical of the claim that this stroller would fit through a standard door with ease, and was pleasantly surprised that it's true. No trouble getting it out the front door. The stroller moves like a dream and is actually easier to steer than my 3 wheel stroller for my toddler. The handle bar is a bit short and I do end up kicking the brake bar some times doing a normal stride ( I'm 5' 2" ). The leg supports on the seats are pure genius. My 18 month old is a bit short for her age and they help make her stroller rides more comfortable. All the storage is great as

Love this stroller!

We have been using the Scooter X2 for a year now and have totally put it through the paces, and we still love it. The Scooter X2 has a smooth ride/glide to it, and the wheels are large enought to take it off the sidewalk if necessary. Side-by-side seating has been great for our twin boys and we can still easily get in and out of standard doors with no trouble. The storage space and canopy are seriously beneficial. As a dad one of the features that is most important to me is that I can push the stroller easily without constantly kicking the storage area or rear axle; I'm 5'11". Lastly, as I said we've had this stroller for a year now and have put hundreds of miles on it in all kinds of weather on all kinds of trips, including theme parks, and the customer service team at Joovy has been awesome. Our dealings with them have been polite, very helpful, and prompt. We're big fans!

We have uses this stroller for day trips, grocery shopping, flight, subway travel, miles of city sightseeing, zoo trips and everything in between. It is the lightest side by side stroller we've found, collapses and sets up easily and the kids are really comfy in it. Heaps of storage for day trips, we fit diaper bag, picnic, water bottles, change if clothes and a little bit of shopping in this. It's a great in town on pavement stroller. Cons? Only moderate complaints here. Wheels get grit in them and become difficult to maneuver. Must be taken off and cleaned once in a while, an easy job. Not good for off pavement use, but not horrible either. Mostly because of the aforementioned grit problem. Joovy customer service is tops and after lots of miles of travel, you can easily order new wheels and get many more years out of this. Ours is 3 years old and just now needs new wheels. We are just now outgrowing this stroller as my older son is turning 4. He still fits and we could still get a few more months out of this. Would not hesitate to recommend. This has stood up remarkably well to the use we've given it.

Keep Both Kids Happy
July 6, 2015
My friend and I went to walk on some trails at the local park with a total of three kids (2 yr old, 5 mo old, 3 mo old). I had my five month old in a carrier and grew tired so my friend had her 2 year old hop out of the stroller so that I could rest. I ended up pushing her ScooterX2 with the two babies and was amazed by how easily such a large stroller could move. I loved the large canopy and how the seats could recline independently from each other. After all, not all kids nap at the same time! Another favorite detail of the ScooterX2 was its truly enormous basket. It held two backpacks, a large blanket, jackets, and some toys. It's amazing how much you need to take with you once you have kids, and the basket allows you to bring everything along. When it was time to put the stroller in the back of her SUV, my friend collapsed it without any struggle at all. Just an hour with this stroller and I was convinced that I will be purchasing one for myself if we end up having another child.

We just received our new 2015 joovy and are in love! It's light weight folds down nicely and fits in my cars truck! I have a sedan by the way!! The new tires are amazing and it steers Great even with a huge weight difference on each side. My daughter is 6 months old weighing 16lbs and my son is 4 weighing 42 lbs and 42 inches tall I didn't think I would find a stroller that had the 3 most important things, great storage (which is so important if you wanna go anywhere with two kids for more than an hour!), would fit my tall 4 yr old boy comfortably, and fit in an average sized car trunk but I did! It's this joovy right here!!!!!!

High End Features, Quality Ride!
November 25, 2014
I received a sample to facilitate review. I am the mom to a 2 and 4 year old, plus I babysit a 9 month old. I am pleased by the quality of the Joovy brand. For my older children we regularly utilize the Joovy Caboose Stand on and LOVE it. Since this is a full-size double I did need to adjust to a heavier weight ( as you would with any double). It fits through doorways and does maneuver very well. However I most appreciate the basket space and independent recline. The 9 month old naps and requires a full diaper bag. My two year old is more active and edging on potty training so this allows me to be on the go with all kids and meet the needs of all. The independent recline straps are incredibly easy and I do not have to disturb the little one to adjust! The one hand fold, is a beautiful feature. I love the color, reflective striping and all of extra storage pockets for travel! Fabric is durable and easy to wipe off! and I love the over-sized canopy with window! GREAT Stroller!

LOVE THIS DOUBLE!
October 8, 2014
I researched double strollers for two months before i purchased the Scooter. Ive had it for about three months now, its lightweight, folds to nothing, fits thew every door ive tried and is the most compact double ive seen. With having three kids in 3.5 years, this stroller is amazing. Theres enough room for our 4 1/2 year old to sit with lots of room and our 3 year old and 1 year old love it! its easy to open, love the storage pockets and the cup holders, the canapy is huge, theres tons of leg room and it handles amazing. My only complaint? The wheels are small for a double. Its great on walks as long as we stay off gravel and sand (ex, at the park) and its a bit hard to get up onto curbs. Overall a fantastic stroller. Also, the customer service is amazing!! Im looking to replace my single now and am hoping for a sale soon! ;)

Does not roll as smoothly as they say
October 7, 2014
I bought this stroller to travel with. After our flight the area that the cross bar clips into cracked and broke while being handled by airport personnel so I cannot say it is durable. When we first got it, it worked great. Folds easily, has lots of underneath storage and very easily for my kids to climb in and out. My kids are maybe a combined total of 6 pounds heavier than when we got the stroller in december (70 total) and now when they are both in it the tires roll terribly and turning is almost impossible.

Not for heavy kids or on uneven ground
November 26, 2013
I spent many hours deliberating over which stroller to buy when pregnant with my second child. Was excited to find this one but a year & 1/2 later, selling mine because I can hardly push it if the surface is even slightly uneven. I bought it mainly for taking walks on paved road or to take to the mall. Together, my kids weigh about 65 lbs., so they are far below the weight limit. The canopy and storage are awesome, and my kids are comfortable in it, but it needs major improvement on the wheels. Also, one of my front wheels got bent somehow when I folded up the stroller so that makes it even worse. I would still recommend this to someone having twins because of the positive features, and you would probably get a couple years of use out of it, but not to someone with a heavy child or children of different ages.

Works great for my two little girls!
June 1, 2013
The ScooterX2 fits {laying down!} in the back of my Expedition EL with all three rows of seating in use! That means I can keep it in my vehicle at all times and still have room for other things -groceries, suitcases, sports equipment. The stroller folds out and up quite easily. I am a bit stroller-challenged, so it did take me a few minutes to figure things out, but all is good now. Other Pros: The colors! I simply love the color of our stroller -we chose greenie. The canopy is huge and provides lots of coverage for the little ones. It has adjustable reclining seats and a five-point harness to hold our adventurous little girls safely in place. It handles well for everyday use. The basket is huge and can hold a ton of stuff. It fits through regular-sized doorways. Two cup-holders and zippered pouches can be found on the back of the stroller. It's affordable. It can be folded up with just one hand! Cons: The stroller doesn't handle too well off the beaten path. It's great for flat, solid surfaces and even grass, but once you hit soft dirt or gravel, it's tough to push. The seats must be fully reclined before folding up. This is easy to do, but sometimes we forget. If you are looking for a heavy-duty stroller to take off-roading or jogging, this is probably not the stroller for you. If you are in the market for an everyday, lightweight double stroller, you will love the Joovy ScooterX2!

I had higher hopes!
May 27, 2013
Just an FYI: This is the first review I have ever done on a product! ...I bought this stroller after we had our second child. I researched double strollers for a long time before deciding and came across this one. I choose this one without testing it (wasn't in stores yet), but decided I liked the price, storage space & canopy. When I first purchased it, the stroller seemed nice. However, after only 5 months it started creaking and it seemed to get harder and harder to push. My girls are not at all heavy by the way. We have now had the stroller for a year 1/2 and I hate pushing it. I don't mind short trips to the mall, but long day trips are a killer. This stroller NEEDS better wheels. The wheels are so small for a larger stroller and it doesn't work. I wish I had spent a little more money on smoother stroller! To give a positive note, I did buy it directly from Joovy and I did receive my stroller quickly. Also, I still like the canopy and storage...the reason I purchased it. Just wish I had thought about the tires more.

Great Stroller!
April 16, 2013
When I first had my son, I only got a full size stroller & the older he got, the more I needed a lightweight stroller for everyday use. The Scooter fit the bill PERFECTLY!! I'm 5'2" & my husband is 6'1" and we can both comfortably push this stroller. (Most lightweight strollers I looked at were way too short for my husband.) The basket underneath is huge and can accommodate my diaper bag, plus the storage pocket on the back is great for my keys and smaller items. It's easy to steer and the unfolding/folding process is super easy. I'm so happy with this stroller & I'm glad I made this purchase!

It's got flaws
March 5, 2013
We bought this stroller a little over a year ago. It is a wonder type "umbrella" double. If you are expecting to take it out in the snow or to the park off the path it's no good. We had a jogging stroller before this one and it just doesn't compare. My jogger would maneuver easily around anything and everything, and it was an incredibly smooth ride for the kids. This stroller isn't terrible but it isn't great either. When we take walks I hit my foot on the brake so I cannot have big strides. My husband refuses to push the stroller on walks because it is hard to push with two kids in it. I would spend money elsewhere especially until they work out brake flaw because that's just annoying honestly.

Wanted to love it...
January 26, 2013
Bought the Scooter for my toddler because I loved the look and seat capacity- my 2 year old is 34lbs & 3 feet tall- well above average size- so I need years of use. Unfortunately, after using it for several months, my husband could not get past the awkwardness of the handle and I could not get past the difficulty maneuvering or the awkward fold. If those issues are adjusted, I think the stroller could be fabulous. And I love Joovy! But the Scooter just really fell short with us.

I love my stroller!
November 26, 2012
I am very happy that I got this stroller. It is so easy! I did quite a bit of research and was very glad that I chose this one. I especially like that the seat goes from almost upright to pretty flat which works perfectly for my grandson who likes to sit up and see things - then I can lay him back if he gets sleepy.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stroller!
April 25, 2012
I LOVE this stroller. I have 3 children. Twin 1 year olds and a 4 year old. My twins have been riding in the stroller since 2 1/2 months with the Snuggin Go's (also highly recommend). It's easy to setup and take down. The children can climb in and out unassisted without anyone touching the stroller and it does not tip!! It takes up to 90 pounds and so when my 4 year old gets tired he rides in the middle on the front and it's still easy to meaneuver (on smooth ground). The basket, HUGE, the canopy, HUGE. I'd recommend this stroller to anyone with more than 1 child.

Have tall/big toddler try this one
March 8, 2012
I purchased to use with my tall and broad shouldered toddler (3yrs in July) and my baby due in July. I have used it with my toddler solo and with two toddlers and it functions very well. I was not disapointed. Pros: Price (compared to similer doubles on the market). It includes cup holders & belly bar that you can choose to use or or not, zipper pockets on seat backs, pockets inside each seat, large under basket, and easy fold once I got the hang of it (same as any stroller). I love the break bar, it's a one step process which engages both brakes at the same time (and you can feel when it is locked and unlocked, no accidental rolling across the parking lot while unloading). My toddler is very comfortable and has plenty of room in this stroller. He asks me to take him out in his "new stroller". Cons: I gave 4 stars because there is room for improvement. I do not like the type of foam on the handle, I don't think it will be very durable and it feels strange in my hands (I may make a cover for it myself). An adjustable height handle bar would be good for families like mine (I am short & my husband is tall, but he makes due). I would like an optional single side tray that could hook on the bar but it's not a deal breaker I will come up with something. The stroller is not infant seat compatable and states not for infants under 3 months (for the price I'll make due). The max weight limit is 45lbs per seat toatling 90lbs which may seem like alot to some but my toddler is 35lbs now, we only hope the the next 10 lbs go slow so we get to enjoy this stroller before he out growns the weight. I would have liked to have more color options to choose from, like the Caboose colors but Greenie is actually a good color, easy to spot in a crowd and similar to the bright green that seems to be popping up in all kinds of decor and childrens items. I recommend this ScooterX2 Stroller. It is a great value and comes complete (no extra charges), (trust me I on-line shopped higher priced strollers before I found this one and I purchased it on-line sight unseen, I was so nervous buying something I didn't get to test run but no regrets now). We use it for indoor/outdoor mall walking, park walking on sidewalks, I have not tried it on grass or dirt yet that will come this spring when it warms up.

Awesome Product and Customer Service!
November 2, 2011
I have never written a review on any product I have purchased but I am so impressed with the Joovy Scooter X2. I purchased the stroller for our trip to Disney World. I already had a Contours tandem double stroller but was not a fan for numerous reasons. I wanted a lighter weight side by side stroller with reclining seats, a big canopy and under carriage storage. I have a 3 year old boy and a 6 month old girl. This stroller has it all and so much more. My kids were very comfortable riding in the stroller for the 10 days we were in the parks walking around. Everything stowed nicely under their seats. The canopy protected them from the Florida sun. The seats reclined fully for their naps. It turns so easily and locks perfectly. I can not say enough great things about this product. The ONLY negative I have is that the bar that goes across the front of the stroller gets dirty easily from folding the stroller up but it is removable to wash. I also would like to say that the airline we flew broke that crossbar and would not compensate us. When I called customer service regarding a replacement bar, the man was so empathetic and extremely helpful. A+ customer service!

I love it but things are missing
August 16, 2011
When I first got the stroller, I was a disappointed with the size. My friend was over with her city mini and when we compared the stroller folded next to each other the joovy is wider and taller. The back wheels being outset make it like 1/2 inch wider and I cant get it through my gate but the city mini does fit through my gate. However, once I took it out for a spin, all that stuff about size did not matter so much. I LOVE the way the stroller handles, it turns so easily. I love how sturdy it feels when pushing over uneven pavement. My kids are very comfortable in it as well. The only thing I would like to see different is that the bellybar were not so far away from the kids. I like to attach toys to it but my baby can not reach it because it is so far away. I ALSO THINK IT WOULD BE A GREAT IDEA FOR THE COMPANY TO MAKE AN ATTACHABLE TRAY FOR THE KIDS. But I love the parent cup holders and the zipper pockets, the LARGE baskets and the little pockets on the insides of the baby seats. I especially love the color!

I love this Double Stroller
August 4, 2011
I own the Scooter Single Stroller and I loved that stroller and still use it to this day for Bug. So when I saw that Joovy had come out with the ScooterX2, their new Side by Side Double Stroller, of course I had to have it! I couldn't wait to see if I loved this Scooter double stroller as much as the single. I am so happy to report that I definitely do! Let me start by saying that one of the biggest reasons I love the Scooter is because of it's large basket underneath. So I was so happy to see that the Joovy ScooterX2 Double Stroller also has a large basket underneath (and I mean large). You can easily fit 2 diaper bags under there or one diaper bag and shopping bags. Joovy says "The basket is bigger than any stroller basket on the market, period." While I haven't tried out every other stroller on the market, I do know it does have a big basket and having it is so nice. Something that I love about this stroller is the independent reclines for each seat. When you are out and about your kids get tired at random times, not usually at the same time. So being able to let one nap while the other sits straight up is so nice. A must have, I believe. The seats recline to 149degrees so your child can nap comfortably while your out. You can easily recline the seats with just one hand and you can adjust the seats to any position (so many possibilities). Another great thing is that the width of the stroller is just 30 inches, so you don't have to fold it to fit through a doorway. My Bug is a pretty tall 3 year old and I love that he can still easily fit under the large canopy (with room to spare). He also fits comfortably in the large seats. The wheels have sealed bearings making it easy to push (even when you have two kids weighing a combined 90 lbs.). And the double front wheels make it stable which is a must if you have an older child that likes to jump in and out like I have. And in case you don't want your child jumping in and out their are of course 5 point harnesses and a removable bumper bar. I am loving the 2 cup holders and two zippered pockets on the back. It's nice to be able to store keys, cell phones, toys, etc...in those. Something else I am loving is the one handed fold, it's really easy and can be done really quickly. It folds flat and can fit into the trunk of my car. I am loving the Joovy ScooterX2 and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a side by side double stroller!

Great double strolle for tall toddlers!!
July 21, 2011
I have really tall two+ year old twins, and I mean tall. People ask if they are 4 and 5 years old ( one is a little taller than the other) and they are 2 and a half years. So I spent a great deal of time googling over and over : lightweight double twin stroller for tall toddlers with full recline seat position, charting the manufacturers specs on height and weight for each stroller, along with price, reading all the user reviews, and finally came to the conclusion that the Joovy Scooter x2 is the only stroller that might fit the bill. By way of background, I already own a $1,000 inline tandem, a double jogger, a double umbrella stroller, and a double inline umbrella stroller. We have already outgrown all of the aforementioned strollers. I like to go for long walks so I can get some exercise while my kids nap so the full recline for tall toddlers was a must have. So, I am happy to report that the Joovy Scooter x 2 is a great double for tall toddlers! My son, the taller twin, can lie down flat and still has another 2 inches above his head before we outgrown this one. It is built like a well built umbrella stroller, so it is a bit heavier than a regular double umbrella, but there is a lot more headroom and it folds up compactly. The sun canopy.. I cannot rave enough about it, it is fantastic for nappers and sunny days, it is unbeatable coverage. The storage underneath is also plentiful. It's maneuverable, and good for city streets. I think if I had found this one first, I could have saved some money on all these other strollers. The cons: This is not a stroller that can double as a jogger, so it is one star short of being an all around perfect "the only stroller you need." But, no one else has invented that yet anyway so you're not missing anything. It is a good around town, walk on the rec trail type stroller. Another con, I'm 5"10 and my toes bump the brake bar when I walk. Not a lot, nothing painful, but I always have to remind myself to take shorter strides when I first start walking. In short, if you are looking for a lightweight double twin stroller for tall toddlers with full recline seat position, this is it, it's a great investment. Joovy, consider me a fan!

Easy to get kids strapped in, easy to recline seats, canopy actually covers kids, leg extender nice for toddlers. Wish there was cup holders or clip in tray for kids, foot rest needs to be bigger or more practical for older kids, foam on handle twists, need to replace with something that does not spin or move.

Perfect for our family
May 22, 2011
I use our scooter x2 for long walks with our 6 month old, 22 month old and our 85 pound lab. My favorite part about this stroller is that I can push it with one hand if needed. If I could change one thing I would make the sun shade a little bigger. Other things I love about the stroller are: huge basket underneath, 2 cupholders and pockets for parents, belly bar, brake bar, turns on a dime, folds easy and my kids are comfortable and happy in it. Joovy customer service is awesome as well.

My twins stand out their new scooter X2!
May 9, 2011
We utilize our Scooter X2 every day for neighborhood walks. The stroller stands out because of its bright color palette which is great for car traffic. There is plenty of room for our twins and their toys in the seats, and occassionally our cat jumps in with them. We like the extra large umbrella and the flexibility it provides, as well as the deep underneath storage area.

Amazing!
May 2, 2011
I am thrilled I found this product. After researching, reading reviews, and "test driving" double strollers for months I had accepted that to get what I wanted I was going to be spending at LEAST 400 dollars and still not get exactly what I was looking for. When I came across the Scooterx2 it seemed too good to be true.....well, it is NOT! I LOVE it. I have a 19 month old and a 3 month old and while a car seat attachment would have been great I purchased a support insert and lay the baby down flat and he rides safely and comfortably. It is compact and lightweight for a side by side and my 19 month old loves the bright color (green). When they say they filled a big hole in the double stroller market they are absolutely correct! Thank you Joovy!! I look forward to some accessories, hopefully, such as a snack tray.

I love this Stroller!!
April 11, 2011
I love this stroller! It is the perfect size, not a small umbrella stroller but not a big stroller. Just right in the middle. I love that the seat reclines so my son can take a nap. My 3 year old is tall for his age and I love that he fits easily under the canopy with room to spare (another hard thing to find). My absolute favorite thing is the really Big basket underneath. I have had such a hard time finding a stroller this size with a basket like this. I can fit my big diaper bag underneath along with a few small items. I am really happy with the quality of this stroller and it is the stroller I use each and every day!

Loving my new Joovy Scooter!!
February 19, 2011
First of all let me just say that I absolutely LOVE what Joovy has done with this stroller. With my first son (who is now 6.5 years old) I was all over the place about what I wanted in a stroller. I ended up buying at least five strollers before he turned two! I know..craziness. With the baby I'm due with now (in five weeks) I knew exactly what I wanted. Lightweight, functionalbility, attractive, & for a good price. I got all that with the Joovy plus more!! I put it together myself..8.5 mos pregnant & all. It took me 20 minutes. Its a very bright highlighter green color. I dont mind that at all. That means my new baby son will stand out from all the other strollers:) I put my 6.5 year old in it and his head DID NOT touch the canopy. I also put my 5 year old niece in it & she fit perfectly. I dig the pouch in the back of the stroller. I dont always carry purses so I can easily store my phone, my wallet, and a few other small things. The basket is HUGE! I mean huge. I purchased a rather large diaper bag & I was kind of nervous about it fitting. Not anymore. The Joovy has it all. Im a bit of a materialstic fashionista. This stroller definitely fits my taste. I love it!! Im so glad I didnt settle on a huge bulky ugly travel system. My advice to moms trying to find the perfect strollet: shop around & research until your completely sure. Then buy a Joovy:)

A Stroller with Great Head Room
February 12, 2011
I use this stroller for all my trips to the store and walks. It provides comfort and convenience. I love the larger seat, large canopy and the fact that it offers great head room. It's perfect for me with a preschooler that weighs 45 lbs and a toddler that weigh 25 lbs. The over sized basket is a huge plus and I find that it's very comfortable to steer. There is a parent cup holder and the pouches in the seat are perfect for storing toys, snacks, and a sippy cup. I love the zippered pouch that is within reach for me to put my cell phone and cash in. The fact that it offers straps to secure a carseat is a huge added plus and would make this ideal for the first time stroller purchase that will last through the years. *stroller provided for review to the night owl mama. Thoughts and opinions expressed from actual use of this product and 100% my own.

Love this stroller
October 7, 2010
First let me start by saying I really like this stroller. I'll start from the top and go down. The unique handlebars are a lot more sturdy/durable than they might appear. I was happily surprised. An initial reason I was drawn to Joovy- the exceptionally large sunshade. The seat is large and comfortable- and it reclines so my son can be comfortable while he naps. Gigantic basket. The brakes are very sturdy, yet the easiest I've used- and this is my 4th stroller I've owned. I love them- and when I was showing my mom the stroller tonight, she even bothered to mention how great the brakes were on her own. The wheels on this stroller are fantastic. They are comparable to my large Chicco stroller wheel. They glide effortlessly - and because of this, you can use this stroller one handed if necessary. My son is 2.5 and I can easily push him one handed if I want to. That is a HUGE plus to me- especially because there isn't a full parent tray. It's so frustrating to be holding something- even just for a minute and not be able to push your stroller even an inch forward. This is NOT a problem in the Scooter. I did have a Kooper before I bought this. The Kooper is a beautiful stroller, but the wheels always gave me problems and you absolutely cannot push it one-handed in the least. I think the Kooper is a great choice for some parents (there are a lot of them out there that LOVE the Kooper)- but I was happy to give up the umbrella fold for the Scooter. My only other complaint is how it folds up. I think it will be OK once I get more used to it - it's just a little awkward at first- my guess is that it folds the way it does to make it more compact. If you want a smooth ride for you and you child- and a stroller that's somewhere between a smaller, no feature umbrella and a full travel size stroller- THIS IS GREAT :)

Joovy Read My Mind
August 26, 2010
I am EXTREMELY impressed with Joovy's Scooter Stroller. I feel like Joovy read my mind when they designed this stroller. Joovy took all the things I really want and need in a stroller and brought it to life in the NEW Joovy Scooter. Everything about this stroller screams family and mom friendly. Thank you Joovy for reading my mind and for continuing to make high quality strollers that continue to impress me.
