Great stroller, few quirks
September 22, 2017
Overall I do really like this stroller. It rides so smoothly, and handles bumps like a dream. The reversible seat is amazing and very simple to use (while baby is not in the stroller, though, which is slightly unfortunate), and the adjustable handle works very well for all heights. The stroller really is quite nice, but there are several things that would greatly improved the stroller. First off, the car seat adapter has been discontinued, which is very frustrating if you want to use the stroller with an infant carrier. Also, when facing forward, the highest seat position is still just reclined enough that my son won't lay his head back, he sits at attention just slightly forward. That isn't a big deal, but it just isn't super comfortable for him. (Note, rear facing is not like this) The biggest thing for me personally, since I store my stroller in my vehicle, is the lack of ease/bulk/clunkiness when collapsing and opening. The triggers to open and close took awhile to figure out, and even now will sometimes stick. I'm not sure if it's user error somehow, a faulty stroller or just a bad design, but it is irritating, but I do open it and close it at least twice a day, that may not bother others as much, and it is nice that it folds up with the seat facing either way. And it doesn't latch closed like even most cheap stroller, there is a rubber strap/latch, but it's difficult to move and not user friendly. It can't be done 1 handed without extreme caution/skill, so you'll need somewhere to set the baby while opening/closing the stroller, which may be problematic, depending on your needs, and it doesn't collapse very small. Overall, I love the big rear wheels (easily removable to save space) reversible seat, smooth ride, beautiful (and cleanable) fabric, adjustable handle, large basket and cushy seat, BUT with all its quirks, you're not getting something seamless and luxurious. It's a trade off :-)
Pros
- *Smooth ride
- *Large rear wheels
- *Cleanable fabric
- *Adjustable handle
- *Reversible seat
- *Large basket
- *Large Canopy
- *Soft, comfy seat for baby
- *Collapsible front or rear facing
- *Great brake
- *Covered foam bar (not chewable), also removable
- *Front wheels lock straight/can pivot
Best Uses
- If you store it open, it eliminates most of my frustrations :-)
Cons
- *Somewhat difficult to collapse, 2 hands needed
- *Doesn't collapse very small
- *Doesn't latch closed, flops open without unwieldy strap
- *Seat needs to sit up a bit more in forward facing
- *No car seat adapter (currently)
