I recently upgraded to the Graco Snugride 35 Platinum. Everyone in my house absolutely LOVES it! After receiving it I couldn't help but love the color. It is Ion (all black) and it is perfect for girl or boy! After pulling it out of the box I realized how comfortable it seemed. The material is so soft and I felt like my newborn would be so comfy. The manual provided really helped me to ensure proper installation in my vehicle and how my child should correctly be placed in the seat. The one handed adjustable handle is AMAZING! It is so easy to put up and down when dealing with a newborn and toddler! I also love the feel of the canopy. It is a soft material and it doesn't wake the baby when I move it up and down. It also shades the baby perfectly. Lastly, it is so easy to put the baby in and tighten and loosen the straps. The 5-point harness also eases my mind, knowing my baby is safe. The quilted padding is so soft and comfortable and best of all, it doesn't slide all around when putting her in and tightening the front-adjust harness! The 5-point harness is intuitive and easy to tighten and loosen to get our daughter in and out without a struggle. We also love how light the car seat is! We have to move it between cars and sometimes carry her into the house in her car seat when she's napping, which makes it super easy. I'm guessing that the designers of this infant seat must have multiple children of their own because they paid close attention to detail. It's so easy to sneak my baby in and out of the car or stroller without him waking up. This infant car seat has Click Connect technology which is awesome because it is compatible with other Graco products. I "Click Connect" him into the car seat base or our stroller with seamless ease. He doesn't usually wake up because it's really that smooth and easy. The next thing that I like is that the Silent Shade canopy is easy to adjust without disturbing my baby. We live in Texas, so we appreciate the flexibility to gently adjust the canopy. Finally, the 1-Hand Adjustable handle is easy to use.
