Even in my very small 2005 Hyundai Elantra with 2 older kids. I did have issues installing the base but nothing that took more than 30 minutes. Which could be normal. The car seat isn't too heavy to carry around even with my now 5 month old who is 16lbs. After we started using this seat baby wasn't crying so much in it. One thing I don't like is the shade. It makes a loud clicking noise when moving I up to cover baby. Other than that I have no issues. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

I think this is a really nice product. Easy to install and light weight.

The shade cover does not open and close very easily, it gets stuck on the handle. Also the infant support piece is pretty thin and probably more for looks than support. But the fabric does seem to be very cleaning friendly and I am excited to try it out.

I have two kids, so I was really looking forward to having a lighter carseat to trek around and I was not disappointed. While I don't think the weight difference is THAT much better than the previous model I had, it has been making a difference in my ability to carry my daughter in the seat versus tossing it in the stroller. I really like the handle contour and find it more comfortable on my arm. I noticed the seat seems a tiny bit more shallow than a previous version I had (older daughter) and seems to fit in my car very nicely. The minor updates to the material and styling are really nice, but I still find that my daughter tips over to one side and I would love to see a little more padding on the headrest, but that isn't a huge deal for me. I love the base and found it very easy to install - the height adjustment is fantastic and made it a breeze. Getting the carseat in and out of my car has been extremely easy and I find the weight difference is hugely helpful here. The colors are really nice and I love the pattern on the cover - this is really nice and big to keep sunlight out! The only thing I would change with the cover is the clicking is so strong (honestly, this is a good thing, it is STURDY), but it always wakes my daughter up when I pull it down! Haha. I was so excited to see this car seat option as I always struggled lugging my prior car seats around killing my arms from the weight of them. This car seat didn't disappoint - it's noticeably lighter and easier to click into the base than my last car seat. I can snap it in to the base easily (the base was also really easy to install!) and it easily pops out and doesn't stick when trying to remove it from the base. The design is sleek and not clunky and the cushion for my newborn is a nice soft fabric. The fabric also appears easy to clean with a little spit up. Overall I'm really pleased with this car seat and excited for a great safe graco model that is also lightweight!

What I love about this car seat.. pretty much everything! Love how easy it is to tell when the car seat is in the base with the click to connect. I love how light it is that I after recovering from a csection can safely carry my baby in it. The look is fantastic and sleek. But the most important thing, I know my baby is safe and secure when in the car seat. There really are no cons to this car seat and I would recommend it to anyone who is expecting or looking to upgrade.

I received this car seat to test as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I used this infant carrier for my baby boy, who is now 3 weeks old. My first impression with this carrier was that the materials feel really cheap compared to most other car seats I have seen, including the Graco infant carrier that I used with my daughter who is now 2. The carrier is very lightweight and easy to carry around, possibly partly because of the cheaper materials they used. For the most part, I don't mind that they seemed to cut some costs without compromising safety. However, I like that most carriers have a rubber grip on the handle, because they feel a little nicer. I struggle with joint pain in my hands, so I would really appreciate a little padding of some sort to protect those sore joints. I liked that this car seat was easy to get in and out of my car. I really like the Click Connect system, and it is compatible with my stroller, so it is easy to transfer baby from the car to the stroller without having to take him out of the seat and wake him up. The car seat is not too difficult to install. The base just clips to the LATCH anchor system in your car. The hardest part is tightening the strap properly (you have to pull really hard) without messing up the leveling, but once the base is installed properly, it's a breeze getting the carrier in and out of the base. My favorite thing about this base is the adjustable head cushion. I love that it cradles my son's head nicely and keeps it from slumping to the side or forward, and it can move as he grows. Overall, it seems like a good option for caregivers who don't want to spend much on an infant carrier car seat. It does the job well enough.

The SnugRide 35 Lite LX Infant Car Seat is probably one of the best infant car seats I've ever used. The design is very parent friendly, and lightweight. The pattern that I have (Brody Fashion) is cute and gender neutral. The carseat and base were both super easy to install. I really like the adjustability of the base, allowing the angle of the car seat to grow with the baby, making it more versatile. My favorite feature of the car seat and base combo is the level indicator on the base. It gave me reassurance that the base was installed properly. With this being my 3rd child and having previous experiences with different car seat brands, you can absolutely feel the difference in quality versus others, with Graco improving over the years. The simplicity of the installation is what really sold me though. I would highly recommend this car seat and base combo to other parents. Although I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I would definitely have bought this product on my own. That's how much I love it. It was a win-win in my book.

The Graco SnugRide 35 Lite LX infant car seat is very light, sturdy, and easy to install. Getting the car seat in and out of the car is simple and painless. It attaches and detaches easily, making the transition to and from the car effortless. The clicking sound is a little loud, but my newborn does not seem to mind it, and continues to sleep peacefully. (She typically decides to wake up when I'm getting into bed or sitting down to eat.) The car seat handle is safe to use in the car in any locked position. I leave it up which makes is very easy to carry in and out of the car. I don't have a stroller compatible with this car seat, so I just carry the car seat from the car. If it wasn't so lightweight, this would be a lot harder. The base installs with either a lap belt or latch. I found the lap belt to be more secure as I had a harder time tightening the base with the latch. The base does not have a belt lock-off like some other models, so your seat belts must be able to retract and lock. I also installed the car seat with just the lap belt (no base) and it was very simple, just a little more complicated for getting in and out since you must undo the seat belt every time, but it's a great option when traveling/flying. The adjustable recline and level indicator give me peace of mind that the car seat is in the correct position for my five-week-old daughter. The level indicator clearly shows how to position the seat correctly. The newborn insert is nice, but the head padding is in an awkward position for my newborn. I wish it was a little more padded. Also, the sunshade is flimsy and gets stuck when I pull it back. Overall, this is a great car seat, especially if you don't want to feel like your walk from the car to the house is the Arnold Schwarzenegger bicep workout. I had the following requirements for a car seat: easy to get in and out of the car, light enough to carry around for quick school drop offs and secure for infant and larger baby. The SnugRide 35 LX car seat has fit all of our needs nicely. My husband was able to install the adjustable base using our car's anchor system quickly and easily. The car seat is light enough to carry around while dropping my older children off at their schools. It's very easy to pop on and off the base. The baby feels secure with the included infant headrest and the chest clips and latch are both easy to clip and i clip. Great product! I just bought the matching Graco car seat carrier for longer trips. I'm looking forward to its arrival to see how the two products work together. In short, great car seat!

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The color and weight of this car seat are a great neutral for either gender. It connects easily to the base and is easy to get in an out. The weight cannot be beat. The baby seemed comfortable in the seat and did not appear to get easily overheated. I do find that the chest clip buckle is too small and punches adult hands easily. I also did not like the placement of the buttons for bringing the carrying handle up and down- I found having them in the front versus the back made the process of changing handle position more laborious. I also think that the umbrella cover clicks haphazardly and unevenly. The clicking was loud, waking a sleeping infant. Good seat for the price, but definitely needs some improvement with maneuverability. I'm sure this is the trade off for the light weight.

I liked this car seat because of how easy it is to use. Installing and removing it from the base was so simple. My favorite feature is just how light it is to carry! We are using this with our second baby, who is 2 weeks now. I was very surprised at how light it was when I took it out of the box - a huge help for me carrying it around! The seat is easily latched into the base and then easy to take out with the one button release in the back. So far it is very easy to carry with it being so lightweight. The adjustable base was a quick and easy install, and the 4 position adjustable recline on it helped to install it in my car since my seats are a little more sloped down where the base latches in. The canopy on the seat is a little loud when pushed back and forth startles my baby every so often, but it may loosen up over time. I personally chose seatbelt because the standard anchors are sort of hard to remove if you need to uninstall often. The recline indicator on the base is very helpful, but not my favorite. It can be a little.confusing to read depending on the angle you are viewing from, which is mostly only an issue when you're trying to get that extra bit of recline for a newborn. It's super easy to get the seat in and out of the car, and I'm not breaking my back carrying it with baby in it. I received this product through the stellar product testing panel. The car seat was easy to carry. Similar in size and weight to other lightweight options on the market. Before installing I put my newborn in it to test fit and ease. The actual material of the car seat is more of a vinyl feel and not much padding. What I did like is on the sides of the car seat you had little areas where you could slide in the seat belt to hold while you were placing the baby in the seat so they wouldn't get in your way. Installation was extremely easy. I found that if you adjust the clip before hooking it in the latch you can get it a lot tighter. Finding the right placement level based on age was also very easy.
