We opened it put the pieces together and the lights turned on. Clicked the buttons all it did was play music.

The cry detection is very cool on this with the multiple settings.

Good settings on this swing. The only down side it's noisy. It sounds like a washing machine being on.

I brought on before my baby was born and my baby was born November this thing doesn't even work it just swing once and stops what is that graco u should recall this product

Bought this for our first worked great at first for the first month maybe 2 then vibration went out then then swing stopped working. Customer service sent us a new one got the new one. New one worked maybe a month. Would not recommend can get so many other ones with WAY more patting and comfort then this one. I wouldn't waste the money. There is little patting it is pretty hard we would put a few muslin blankets under baby to make it more comfortable.

Love it!!! Read a lot reviews! Some saying it don't work right! Couple motions swings that take a sec to get going. No biggie to me! Been using it for a week no complaints at all!

I was gifted this at my baby shower It's not a good product it wakes my baby up out of his sleep when it starts malfunctioning, It was used for 1week with out a problem, the first time it happen it didn't do it until a week after but now it's back to back on the same day.  

I was so excited to buy this. However, I can't even force myself to use it. It is so loud. The movements are so jerky and rough that it is absolutely NOT soothing.

I got this as a baby shower gift for my first child and loved it then a little after 1 month of using it rocks then stops and won't continue to move very disappointed as this is an expensive item and was helpful with soothing baby when would work.

Bought swing in feb for baby due in July.... Baby was born in June and the swing vibrate already quit and it makes very loud noises when swinging. Jerks baby around bad when switching settings! Worst swing I've ever purchased.

Soooo... wonderful swing and my newborn loves it, used it every day... however, this is now the SECOND graco swing I've gotten him attached to & has now broke! This one legit sounds like it's about to blow up and gets louder and louder the minute you turn the thing on... now I got this for a gift so there's nothing I can do about it in regards to returning ect. Which stinks esp cause this is soooo expensive.. but we legit have used it all of maybeee a month (and not even excessively used) and this is already happening... can't figure out what's wrong with it & im beyond dissatisfied and disappointed with graco at this point. Won't be going with another graco product just for the same thing to happen to me again. My baby was IN LOVE and now yet again we're on the search for something else and costing just more money that as a single mom still on leave, I really can't afford right now:/

I got this as a gift and I am wondering if this product is good for a newborn baby?

I loved this swing but using it for our second about two years later and it won't turn on. The light will blink blue a couple times but won't turn on no matter what we do. For the cost this should definitely last a bit longer.

I loved this swing it really helped with the baby but after a month of using it, it stopped working. It only plays music, the vibration and none of the swing setting work anymore.

I got this at my baby shower and my baby used it a lot however it just stop rocking. It turns on and makes noise but won't swing. I'm alittle upset I was hoping to use this for my next child and that's why I justified spending so much for this one.

I bought this for my son who has loved it. We didn't use the cry feature because it always out music on and we didn't really care for that. However when my son is in the swing he likes the vibration on. The vibration no longer works now and so it's just a big music box that he doesn't want to be in.

I love the swing my daughter sleeps quite comfortably in it, I like that you can take the bouncer off and take it with you all over the place.

My swing does everything but that, swing! I love the features and it even wants to switch when it detects crying. But it doesn't move!!! I gave this to my niece for her first baby and am embarrassed she can't use it. My star rating would be higher if it worked.

Some of the features stopped working after 3 months of use. It only cuts on when it wants to. A friend has the same device and theirs stopped working altogether.

Bought this for my toddler 2 years ago worked fine then. Baby didn't really care much for it so it didnt get too much use, but we put it away knkwing we would be having another. Now 2 years later the light turns blue when plugged in, but IT EILL NOT TURN ON AT ALL. This machine cost way too much for it to die like that for no reason.

My baby loves this swing. Thought she wouldn't like it but she loves being on it . Best purchase i have made.

This swing is great and does the job when the little ones just needs to be soothed. Definitely gives your arm/body a break when you're facing your breaking point. Just remember that it is meant to soothe and not the solution to everything; hunger, diaper, general attention, your soul... got to give it to the little one.

I bought this swing for my daughter due last October, worked fine for less then 5 months. Now we can only use it as a expensive music player. Wish I went with a different one.

I am a new Dad. I currently have a five week old baby that often cries in the middle of the night after feeding. Trust me when I say I try to do everything in my power to calm the baby. It's almost annoying how quickly this thing will calm/settle your child. If the baby starts to fuss, it automatically detects it and sends the Graco in a different vibrating/ rocking mode while playing some eloquent music. 90% of the time, the baby immediately stops crying. This is worth it's weight in gold.

The motor and the base no longer rocks back and forth :( needs a warranty for these kinds of things

The swing doesnt make a sound or move. It just blinks. Do i have to open it to help calibrate.

My parents got this swing for my baby shower, it is super easy to put together. I love that you can put the seat any direction you like. I also like how deep the seat is, my newborn does not slide around at all, however he has only been home for 2 weeks and doesn't like the swings yet so we have just been using the vibration on low. It started out great and he loved it, but now even on low the vibration is super loud. I can't even hear my son breathing when it is on. The vibration has gotten louder in these 2 weeks and he likes it to stay on when he is in it so with it running while he is in it, it has started to make different noises than the vibration and it sounds like it is going to go out. The cry detection is a great idea, if it worked right. It has never worked when he actually cried, but when I take him out of the swing and he cries it will turn on. Also he was in it last night with just the vibration on when all of a sudden the swing and music and vibration all turned on full blast and scared him awake since he is not a fan of the swing yet. Over all, my parents and I thought this would be a great swing but it turns out the product it's self is not the best. It is made well but the technology is a little messed up.

I've had this for about two years now, and have used it for two of my three kids. Love it so much, but did come across getting a purple light on the sensor? I can't find anything anywhere about a purple light so I'm not sure what this means.

As much as this thing costs you would think it would be better quality. After a month we started having issues, it became louder than it already was, a month and a half in, the vibration just grinds and growls and doesn't do anything, and 2 months in now, the swing wont start rocking unless you pick the whole thing up several times, as if something isnt lined up anymore. Just very unsatisfied with this swing in specific. Love almost everything else from Graco, but would not recommend this swing.

I got this for my son when he was 4 weeks old, and he LOVES it!!! It has good options for movement, sound, and the vibration is the best part. He's a gassy baby, so the combo of swing and vibration puts him right to sleep. I also love that the seat is detachable, and is safe to carrier him in, unlike other bouncer type products. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is because the shoulder straps were not long enough to fit my son. He was 12lbs at a month old, and they did not fit. So my suggestion is either get rid of the shoulder straps and improve the waist straps, or make the shoulder straps longer. As for the cry detection, the only time it's gone off so far is when I was running the vacuum, so I'm not sure if his crying set it off, or the noise of the vacuum did.

My boyfriend bought this for our son he isn't even 2 months and the vibration stopped working a couple weeks ago. I love this product but that fact that I haven't had this product that long a the vibration doesn't work sucks

My baby girl would cry everywhere else and on this she sleeps for so long and does not cry at all I like that it has different motions

Got this as a baby gift from our registry. Our little boy loves it! Nice and snug.

I wish I had not spent the money on this and just bought a regular swing. I have attempted to utilize this multiple times and it makes her cry more! The movements seem too fast at times which make her cry. Also I've tried turning the cry feature off and it picks back up.

I will not recommend. I initially purchased this product and it was not rocking or swinging. I returned it and got a replacement and now the replacement is even worst. It doesn't rock/swing nor does vibrate. I am totally disappointed as I was looking forward to this as a first time mom and using this product.

I bought this 4 months ago and the motor has stopped working. The swing won't move at all , I'm very disappointed because I was excited about this swing.

Initially we absolutely loved this swing and it was a life saver. My son loves the vibrate function on his bouncer, but we were going through batteries like crazy. It was amazing to find something that plugs in and has vibrate. It's also really nice that the swing is compact and doesn't take up a ton of room. Unfortunately the vibrate function stopped working about a month or so in. We still use it as a swing, but are pretty disappointed about the vibrate as that was the main reason we bought it.

It stopped working after 10 min of taking it out of the box. Graco is making it a hassle to get it replaced.

We love the product, but there are two features that could be improved; 1) the volume setting could be set louder than what the loudest is set for, and 2) the equipment itself is as long as the loudest volume setting. In other words, hearing the music settings are more relaxing than hearing the equipment itself. Other than that, we're still pretty happy with it and so is our little one!

I'm a first-time mom with a two-month old and this is BY FAR one of my favorite baby items. The Sense2Soothe Swing feature really works! My mother has nicknamed it the "Nanny Swing" because it automatically calms my son when he starts crying. Everything is completely automated. We were shocked to see it in action the first time. It's definitely worth the money and I highly recommend it!

I bought this for my fourth baby a year ago online based on all of the great reviews I read. The set up was VERY EASY! I already loved the product from the description of features and it is very cute and doesn't take up much space in the room. Once I started using it I noticed the motor is very loud and it did not detect crying unless my baby was extremely loud and also moving around. So this did not work well for newborns. The vibration setting went out after a month of using it. If you put it on the second or third setting for speed it will detect "noise" and change the setting you had it on. There are no replacement parts for the fabric at all for any tears or stains. I personally would not buy this product again.

Very useful for calming our baby down and having a place to put her when we need our hands free. Our daughter loves the swing motions and the sounds. It helps calm her down right away when she's getting fussy!

I got this swing for my son. I've literally had problems with it since day one. I can't turn the cry detect off, and it will change up settings all the time even in a quiet room. I will have it set on a setting my son loves, and then 10 seconds later it will change the setting to the slowest it will go making him extremely upset, or it will just completely cut off. A huge waste of money as I'm ready to throw the entire thing out.

My surer just tested the product and it wasn't working. Fortunately they did that before the baby was due. I would hope, especially if you are making products for new borns, that your quality assurance would be a lot better.

My daughter Turned two months yesterday, and today in the swing has started making this grinding noise when it's not turned on kind of like a motor struggling?

We got this as a baby shower gift 3 months ago and honestly don't like it. The motor in it is awful and always malfunctions! The swing is very jerky and will bang for words and backwards very hard. My child hates this swing. The motor constantly stops working too Becuase the swing is on and doesn't swing at all. On top of all this the " sense to soothe" doesn't work at all never has. Highly don't recommend. Stick to your traditional swing please

Just bought it on amazon website. We are about to try it with our first baby. Hope it will help with her colic.

This is an amazing swing! My daughter LOVES it! Where was this 3 kids ago! I love the cry technology. my daughter grunts a lot before she starts actually crying so it doesn't pick up on her crying until she's super mad and it wont soothe her because she's grunted herself awake at this point. ha ha! but it does soothe her very well if she is awake when she goes into it rather than waking up in it.

This has been great for us! Always worked as it was supposed to. Cry detection is so cool.
