Very well made. Bought it for my grandson to be used in my full size car.... Only negative is that it much too wide, side to side..... It dominates the back seat... very uncomfortable for passengers on either side....squished!!!! Now searching for a narrow car seat... what do parents and grandparents do if they have a small car?

We've found that the harness straps do not tighten evenly, so that one is always looser than the other. We have been unable to remedy the issue on our own.

I had a friend buy this for me for a gift. We have used it for about a year. Just the other day my husband was putting my son in the seat and he bumped into the headrest and it made a cracking noise and is all loose. I am afraid to use the seat now and will have to go purchase another one. Its disappointing that the seat only lasted a year. We have other graco carseats in the other 2 cars and they have been great. Also disappointed that I don't have proof of purchase to return the seat. I can't imagine what could have happened in a accident if my husband bumping it broke the headrest.

I originally bought this after my daughter was 2.5yrs and liked it so much I bought another for my son since he outgrew (by height) his carrier. Neither one complain or cry. They're currently 3.5yrs ff and 16mos rf. Installing rf was a bit of a challenge and I had a hard time getting it tight so my husband had to do it for me. The car seats are on the bigger side, so if you have a smaller vehicle, I wouldn't recommend this car seat unless you're getting just one seat.

My 15 month old son and my father were in a head on collision. Both adults walked away without any serious injuries thanks to seatbelts, and my son walked away without a scratch thanks to his car seat! He is 30 lbs but was still able to be rear facing because of the Contender 65's 40lb RF weight limit. I just purchased 2 Extend2fit car seats so he can remain rear facing until 50 lbs now! Thank you, Graco, for making quality products at an affordable price! It gives me peace of mind now, more than ever, to know no matter who he is riding with he is properly restrained in a great car seat.

Loosening the belt seemed impossible, but was finally accomplished by moving the belt millimeter by millimeter. It was a long process. The seat itself seems well-constructed and the children seem comfortable.

I bought this carseat when my granddaughter was getting too big for her previous carseat/carrier. I love how comfortable, durable and safe this carseat is for her. I really like the idea that it grows with the toddler. It was also a very good price for the value.

This seat just came in the mail. It was very easy to install and my 10.5 month is very comfortable in it.

Bought this for my son at about 8 months old. He loves that he can see out the window since it's tall enough for him to do that. Only complaint is hes 15 and a half months old 31" long and he looks so so smooshed leg wise and he's not that long for his age.

This is a great car seat. I love that it is less bulky than most car seats. The ability to convert it to fit the childs needs are great. I would have given it 5 stars, but there is one issue. When I put my 2 yr. old in it, the bottom strap is almost to short to buckle, even though I have loosened the straps.

Bought this for my youngest once it gets warm. It is perfect fit on my medium size suv

I'm not happy with the positioning of the straps at the shoulders. They seem to sit too far out on my baby's shoulders. I also am not a fan of the fabric. He slips around in it. Wish I would have los a little more and got another myride.

I bought the my ride 65 convertible car seat for my first son back in 2012. We had to put him in this car seat at 6months because he had outgrown his infant seat. He loved it very comfortable, he stayed in this seat for 3 years. I kept the seat being that it doesn't expire until may 2018 and will be installing into my car this weekend for my 7 month old because he is getting to big for the infant seat. I would recommend.

We just bought this seat, after struggling to find one to fit in our small car. It fit perfectly and our 4 month old loves it! Wish we would have saved all the trouble and got this one first!

I bought this yesterday. My baby took her first ride in it. She is 13 months and read facing. She sssmed very comfortable and even fell asleep. I like the cup holder and used it to put cheerios in. So far so good.

easy to install, comfy for my kiddo and super easy to install and adjust. honestly, my only grump about this seat is: the cup holder. it's great that it's removable so that you can use it on either side depending on what works for you but you can't get it in tight and it's easily knocked out w the slightest bump. it would be awesome if you could just clip it in/out somehow.. if that's the only gripe, you're doing great Graco! (I've used several Graco seats, loved em all)

I bought this seat today. My daughter is front facing and she was super excited about her new seat. I was too, it was so easy to install. It took me only minutes and it was perfect. It's easy to adjust and secure her in. I'm glad I made the switch from Maxi Cosi to Graco!!

I purchased this car seat for my 7 month old after a month and a half of searching for the perfect seat. Adjustments are easily made and the seat feels sturdy. It also fits perfectly rear facing in my Ford Focus which was an issue we were running into with other popular brands. My daughter loves this seat and she has plenty of room to grow due to adjustment options.

We bought this car seat before our son was born. We really like this car seat. It grows with the baby with easy to adjust harness. Car seat seems to be built more sturdy than other car seats we looked at. It is padded and is comfortable for our baby. We liked it so well we bought a second one to have one for each vehicle instead of swapping it around to our other vehicle. Covers both rear and forward facing and is good up to 65 pounds. We recommend this car seat to anyone.

We've only had this carseat a couple weeks but love it so far! Our daughter seems happier because it sits up higher and she can see out the window. The pattern is super cute! The only downfall is that it's pretty big but the positives definitely outway that!

I just bought this car seat 2 weeks ago and I love it. It was super easy to install, easy to switch in and out of different cars, easy to level and most of all easy to take on and off my baby. The movable headrest makes having to adjust shoulder straps a worry of the past. I love it. And the best part is my son will use it for the next few years since it converts! Yay!

We got this car seat four years ago when I first had my daughter it is a wonderful well padded car seat easy to install my daughter loves it and now we are passing it along to my youngest daughter to use since she outgrew her other car seat I recommend Graco products especially their car seats to anybody they are well manufactured products.

I was looking for a car seat that was reasonably priced. I love that it is easy to set up and it doesn't take up a lot of space in my car. My son also seems to be comfy in it which is a plus. I plan on buying another one for my daughter.

I originally bought my daughter this car seat when she was about 4 months old. She never got to use the head or hips pads so I don't know personally how those are. She is now 3 and we just received the same car seat for her after being in a roll-over accident last month. When asked which car seat I wanted to get her I automatically chose this one. During the accident, she was only belted in through the back, not using the tether and she did not move an inch. The car seat stayed in the truck and there was no problem with her harness buckle or straps after. Of course we clipped the straps on got rid of it but I am 100% sold that this car seat saved my child's life. Its easy to clean. Tough to take out of my car using the tether system but since we hardly rotated it through vehicles no complaint there. She loves the two cup holders and it must be comfortable because she never complains about sitting in it for long periods of time.

I like how it has simple adjustables straps that I will never have to thread through the back and can be adjusted by moving the headrest up and down. Good quality. Comfortable. Easy to install. Going to take some getting used to since we had an infant carrier before but our 6 month old needed to be upgraded to something better that she can use for years to come!

We got this around Christmas for our daughter, she is absolutely in love with it. We used to fight putting her in the car and she would cry but now she happily goes in her seat. Nice car seat. The head contender adjustment is of great help to keep baby comfortable. One thing might be able to improve is, when using rear-faced, the fastening belt is not that easy to stretch snug.

I like this product. I cant say much about it as I just bought. The one thing I don't like is how hard it is to unbuckle the top as to move the sraps up and down. Otherwise its a good car seat
