We got this seat for my daughter when she was around 5 months old. And she LOVED it! It fit great in my car, I felt that she was safe in it, and I loved that it was a rear and forward facing seat.

Just bought this car seat for my son and it arrived today. I immediately installed it in my van and it fits perfectly and was super easy to install. Also very lightweight compared to the convertible car seat I had for my daughter a few years ago. My son is very comfortable in it. Highly recommend!!!

I had this seat for almost 2 years. We got into an accident the car hit the wheel inches behind where my daughter was sitting. Going around 25-40 mph my daughter left un harmed with just a bit of a scare. The carseat did its job perfect. I would recommend this to anyone.

I was looking for a reasonably priced convertible car seat that would be flexible enough to use for grandchildren of varying ages when needed. After doing research and reading reviews I decided on this one because of the easily adjustable shoulder straps and head restraint. Push a button and slide, rather than take car seat out and move straps. So much easier to adjust between use for kids of different sizes. I just installed it and it was fairly easy and sits pretty tight. I think it is a really good seat for the price, and since I do not use it on a daily basis. As other reviewers have noted it fits well in a smaller car without sacrificing safety features.

This carseat was puchased for use in my "backup" car for occasional pickup of my granddaughter. My daughter purchased hers first, loved it and the features, and we decided on this similar seat for me. Love the cup holder and the expandable headrest to use as she grows. Just one of several Graco products I have!!!

I bought this product a few weeks ago since my 9 month old was growing out of her infant carseat. It's so easy to take her in and out of this compared to before. She seems comfortable and usually falls asleep, and she's not as scrunched. I do wish there was a little bit more padding around her head but she seems fine (I'm a first time mom). We're buying the same one for my husband's truck. Oh and it's really affordable!

This car seat does not come with shoulder pads for shoulder straps which causes a red rash when the neck of the child rubs against it. I feel like shoulder pads should be included with this item

We bought this seat almost a year ago and are just now able to use it for our 10.5 month old. The seat is great because of the adjustable headrest and the easy to adjust straps. My daughter loves her big girl seat and doesn't fuss when it's time to get in the car. Thank you Graco for making such a great seat that my daughter can grow up with.

I have only had this car seat for a few days and my son and I both love it. It's comfortable for him, not to mention even in the rear facing position he is high enough to be able to see out of the window.

We actually just put my 2 month old in here because he was getting to tall for his infant car seat that was frankly uncomfortable. In this it's secure and we NO fuss! Not even a peep sometimes and he falls asleep soooo easily. The only downside is you don't have the luxury of just taking them in and out without disturbing their sleep but small price to pay for their comfort. Really glad we switched him out! As a first time parent I wish someone would have told me sooner!

I bought this for my son when he transitioned out of the car carrier. It had great ratings and my son seems to love it. He likes that he has a cup holder too, he stores his toys in it.

I have not had any problems with this carseat at all. We got it when my daughter was about 6 months old and She is 3 now and switched her to a booster. It is an amazing seat.

We had a Graco infant seat and upgraded to 2 Contenders almost a year ago for both of our vehicles. It was a very quick and easy install and the seat has easily grown with my son. I feel completely comfortable with his safety in the Contender, which is a huge bonus. It was also easy to care for when we had a throw up incident. I will continue to purchase Graco products in the future as the products are great, as well as the customer service.

Just bought this for my 6 month old son who is very long for his age and outgrew his infant carseat. He loves his new Graco Contender 65. It's very comfortable for him he absolutely loves it! It has a lot of nice padding and just looking at the car seat you can tell it's extremely safe. My favorite part is how it will grow with him so it's going to last a long time.

Bought this as a travel car seat for an upcoming flight. The cheaper seat I originally purchased from another manufacturer was difficult to install, felt cheap and took up alot of room front to back. After alot of additional research, purchased a Contender after returning the other manufacturer's car seat. Will see how it fits on the plane on our upcoming trip but the weight is lighter than our everyday seat, I like that it has a level built-in and recline foot and the no-rethread harness is a plus at this price point. Was able to do a test install in our cars both with latch and seatbelt and get a secure install. It is higher priced than other travel seats and slightly heavier but I will also use this as a back-up seat and really wanted something I was confident I could install in a rental car and on a plane and felt like a quality seat.

I have this carseat for my 3 year old and I absolutely love it. Very easy to install and perfect for my small car since I needed a compact front to back and this was perfect for that.

We tried this seat and another seat to use for travel and my son hands-down preferred this one. We like that the seat has good safety ratings, is lightweight enough to lug through the airport, and is easy to get a tight install in different cars. The harness straps take a little extra effort to tighten and I wish they had strap covers, but the seat seems cushy and the cupholder is handy.

This has been a great car seat to transition out of our infant seat. It is extremely easy to install and fits rear facing in our honda civic with plenty of space for the passanger side.

Bought this as a second car seat for my truck. My little guy is going to be facing forward in this and he seemed to fit and be comfortable in it so far. The main seat used for him is the graco forever seat. He is still facing rear in moms car but going to transition him after we see how he does in this seat. He is 2 and about 30 lbs so he is well within the guidelines to turn him around. really easy to install with latch system. Would recommend this seat to anyone.

We bought to car seat a month ago because our baby was about to outgrow the infant car seat height wise. We used it for the first time on vacation and our baby loves it. He loves it because he can see out the window now and has more room than the infant car seat. We bought a second one for our other car and it was so easy to install with the seatbelt or with the latch. We are happy that we can use it for the next few years and not have to worry about our baby outgrowing it as fast as he did the infant seat.

We have only had this seat for a week and we already love it. The arms are low enough that we can comfortably get our LOL in and out, even if she is sleeping. The cup holders will be nice as she grows. The strap adjustment is a cinch. It is adorable and affordable.

I was looking for a car seat for my car (I'm the Grandma). I tried two different ones and returned them before purchasing the Graco Contender 65. One of the car seats need pool noodles to get the proper incline and I just don't feel that is a safe option for my grandbabies. Also, I could not get a tight fit with the returned car seats. I was so pleased the Contender 65 fit perfectly in my Honda Accord (with no pool noodles) and I got a secure, tight fit the first attempt. I also love the adjustable head rest/should straps without having to take the car seat apart to adjust them. I feel safe with my grandchild in this car seat!

My son loves this car seat! It is very safe and is also very comfortable for our little guy. My only complaint is the size of the car seat. We have a small crossover and it literally takes up all three seats. It is hard to have any other passengers. Overall, I think this car seat is excellent and the brand is fantastic!

I just purchased this car seat yesterday and I love it already. Easy to use and install into my car. It's a little bigger than I expected, In the rear facing it hits the back of my front seat and I have a Ford Edge, not a major issue for me as I have short legs and my seat is moved up when I drive. I have 3 young grand sons, 2 are still rear facing and 1 is forward facing so ease of transition was important to me. I would recommend this car seat to friends and family.

I bought two of these for my soon to be one year old because he was starting to get fussy in his infant carrier. I was worried he would be too small for a convertible car seat since he is in the 5th perfect but he got perfect. He is much happier and loves storing his Pacis in the cup holder.
