I bought four of these, two for each car. These were extremely hard to install rear facing using the latch system...but once installed, my 1year olds seems to really like them. I have a 2011 Mazda6, and my husband and I are both 5'8" and we have plenty of room up front with these in the back seat. We haven't installed the other two in the other car because of the difficulty...we have an appointment to have them installed at a dealership that offers installation for carseats.

We love this carseat. While it has a couple faults, we like it enough to have three of them. For one, you can't beat the price for what you're getting. High weight and height limits and our daughter loves the seat. We've tried using some others and finally just had to order more of this one because she didn't like the others. LOL.. The latch can be hard to release so I would say not easy to install and uninstall often using the latch system. We use the seatbelt currently. We like how the bottom flap thing does so whether you're rear or forward facing, the seat lines up perfectly with your car's seat.

We got this seat for our 14 month old a few weeks ago. She loves how comfortable it is and we love how easy the buckles are. Most importantly we love that it kept her safe when our van got totalled only days after we installed in. We will be replacing our seat with the exact model.

My Graco 65 is easy to install and all the adjustments are easy to make. I bought this to use while I have my grandchild. There's instructions on the side, in the booklet, oh and there's videos too! My grandchild is forward facing, climbs in easily to be buckled in. I highly recommend this car seat!

Awesome car seat! Smooth pull system for the shoulder straps. Great fabric. Very squishy padding. Cup holder works great. This is our second car seat and we should have bought this one sooner.

I really like this car seat and the ease of installing it. You can easily secure it by the tether straps and hooks or by threading the seatbelt thru the base. Just make sure you tighten it well. My only wish was the foam headrestraint falls when a child is taken out. If a strap could be sewn on the top and flip over the back and Velcro. It could adjust up or down as they grow. This was the third Contender that I have purchased! I wanted all of my family members that transport my daughter to have this seat. Its easy to install, small enough to fit in the backseat with other car seats, and includes all of the safety features of much more expensive seats. It is easy to clean and the adjustable head rest makes making adjustments a breeze. I highly recommend this product!

I want to like this car seat. But I just cant. It is hard to tighten, seems like there is some resistance that shouldnt be there. I also have trouble where one strap is often looser than the other. Its random and not always the same side. I also wasnt happy that it didnt come with strap covers. The straps dig into my little ones neck and leave marks :(

My baby looks and feels super comfortable on this one. Granted, it is a bit larger than I thought but it is still super convenient. Love the cupholder and the fact that you can adjust the height with the touch of a button.

I wish I was happy with this carseat but I am having to settle. The belt is hard to pull tight and gets stuck. I have done everything I can and I think it's just they way it was built. I have to use two hands to pull it and it's still hard. My daughter has a different Graco and I don't have this issue.

We have used it for about a month. I love how sturdy it is. It came ready to use and was really easy to put into the car. My daughter climbed right in, she loves it which tells me it must be comfy!

Only dislike is the button to loosen straps is too hard to get my finger into. It's covered.

I've just started using this car seat and so far I really like it. The only problem I have is that I want to use the anchors as well as the seat belt to hold the car seat in place, but I can't get the anchor straps to reach the rods behind the back seat in my 2015 Nissan Altima.

I bought these because we are expecting twins. Have not used them yet! Once we use them I come back and write review. Also got Pack & play that looks really nice.

I bought this before I had my baby girl in November and she fit into it when she was two weeks old. It's easily adjustable even while she's sitting in it and the harness straps don't leave markings on her skin like many other seats i know.

I had to put towels under the seat to level it out for rear facing and I had my brother put it in for me. My daughter loves it especially the cup holders for treats and toys, I do wish the snap for the crotch was longer if she was a boy i don't think it would be comfortable. There may be a way to adjust it to make it longer but I haven't found out how to do it yet. Pretty tight fit and I have almost clipped her thighs a couple times (she has chubby thighs). I just installed this car seat. Very well made and has a lot of features. The only two features I wish it had were pads around the shoulder harnesses and one on the lower latch so it would stay forward instead hiding under my sons bottom so I have to fish it out every time. Other than that this is a wonderful car seat and you can't beat the price!

I bought 3 of these car seats and love them. The only thing that I wish it had was a second cupholder. If I have to get more car seats, that's the option I'll go for.

We bought a second seat, identical to one we already had, when our two grandchildren came to visit. The youngest needed the bigger seat and we were pleased with the first one so we got the second just like it. One faces forward, the other backward. They are easy to install and use. For grandparents who only need to use them occasionally, it is nice to know that we will be able to use them for a long time when the grandchildren come to visit.

My daughter is loving the extra space. We just took a 16 hour drive and the extra padding was perfect!

It was hard to secure in the car, tried to both ways to secure the car seat and ended up having to use both the seat belt and the tether on the car ankers to secure the seats. but my girls love them, they are comfy but not to hot, their old car seats would make them sweat.

The only hang up I have with this seat is the placement of the lower buckle. Where you buckle into the base of the seat. It sorta seems to be up a little high for even my little guy. Leaves me fishing for the base of the buckle to get him buckled in. Other than that, looks good! Super easily adjustable head and base of the seat. Love the built in cup holder. Trying to teach my son to not throw his cup to leak everywhere and place in the holder. Fits nicely. Glad we got it.

I bought this for my 8 month old and he's seems to really like it! We took it on a 20 hour road trip and he did amazing in it.

This is the second seat I've bought of this model in the past 6 months. My husband originally went with a different seat for his car but I loved mine so much so I bought him one too! This seat is so spacious and comfy for our son! When he falls asleep in the car, which he does often, his head doesn't slump forward like it has in other seats. I love graco products and will never stray from them! They are exceptionally well built and last through the years. Thank you!

Impossible to tighten the latch strap. It still moves too much using the seat belt. It seems too top heavy.

Super easy 5 minute install and my 10 month old loves his new seat. I'm so happy with this seat! I really wish it came with strap covers, we didn't have any with his graco infant seat and his neck was so red. I'm having a hard time ordering some for this seat, but that's the only minor setback I've had so far. Overally I really love it.

Its a decent carseat but wish you could adjust the recline when rear facing. Bought it for my car when I have my grandson and ended up giving it to my daughter for her husbands car. I am going to purchase the extend to fit because the recline adjusts when rear facing. Somewhat disappointed.

I bought this a couple weeks ago and I wish i would've switched my son over sooner! He is so comfortable he falls asleep within 10 minutes of being in the car. It was so easy to install even being rear facing. With 4 kids and having gone through many car seats I would say this is the best one yet. I am definitely impressed.

This was given as a gift to me at a baby shower and when we tried to use it, we couldn't because the adjustment strap that tightens the harness wouldn't BUDGE. I HAVE GOOGLED AND THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THESE CAR SEATS. Was very upset because I completely swapped out he old car seat and installed this one to be unable to use it.

We love this carseat as an extra in my husband's car and also in both Grandma's cars. It's not too big or bulky so fits well in any vehicle. We had no issues installing it and my son fits comfortably in it. Plus, I love that it is a safe seat that won't break the bank!

I just got this car seat in the mail yesterday and I love it! The reclining feature is amazing and also the little pockets to tuck the seatbelt clips in so they aren't in the way when you're taking your baby in and out!

Once installed from a you tube video, I felt accomplished, and our son is so comfortable now.

Love the cup holder and colors, and ease I do adjusting the the head rest. Everything else? Not a fan. Like several others who have stated, it's hard to get super tight with the LATCH System, and I am constantly fighting and readjusting the shoulder straps to achieve a secure fit. Often times one side is looser than the other. I honestly have anxiety every time I strap my son in, especially when others need to strap him in. My mom cares for him, and we sometimes need to swap cars. Sometimes she doesn't have the strength to fully strap him in! Huge issue! I've found if I move the headrest up, tighten the straps, then move the headrest back down to shoulder height, I can sometimes achieve a secure fit. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend. Too much of a hassle on a regular basis.
