I got this for my baby shower. Put it together and tried to put my 6 pound son in it and it doesn't move event on speed 6. Worst thing ever I wish I read up more on this product before getting it..

I got this glider to review and in the past month it has been a staple in our household. In the mornings when things are hectic and I need to put the baby down to get breakfast and lunches made, the kids ready for school and out the door I get time as our newborn naps away. The 6 different gliding options are amazing and really let us work with his needs and the sounds are very pleasant.

This swing is so amazing, its compact - doesn't take up near the space most swings do. It looks and works great. It has been a necessity during the first 6 months of my son's life. All my 'mommy friends' comment on it and wish they had this swing instead

I purchased 2 of these for my twins and it was the best purchase I've made so far! As a mother of multiples you'll need all the help you can get. The various speeds and soothing sounds allowed me to keep my twins comforted while taking care of the day to day tasks that only increase while being a mommy.

Bought this with our third child and she would sit, play, sleep, and generally be content anytime she was in it. Wish the footprint was smaller, but love that it has a/c plug power adapter option and was simple to assemble.

I bought the Graco glider swing last month for my newborn who wanted to be held 24/7. What a life saver, she loves it!! Now I have time to go to the bathroom or do dishes, ha! It has tons of swing speeds, is quite, and I put it together, easily by myself. The colors are neutral and it reclines easily with one hand. It was one of the few swings I found that vibrate, which my baby really likes, she goes right off to dreamland.

My Baby received it as a gift since he was 1 week old. He is 10th months now and he still using it.

My grandson loves his new swing, he falls asleep in it and he is very comfortable in it.

I actually do not have one of these swings but daycare has them and my daughter would not stay in the one I have at home when she was first born but was always in this one when I picked her up. She loved it! I just bought one for my friend that is having a baby in a few months.

I just put this together and it was super easy. Love that it has 5 different songs and 5 different nature sounds. The 6 speed controls make it easy to ensure the right speed for my baby.

I bought this four months ago after trying at least three other swings/gliders and this one is by far the best. My only complaint is the toy bar. It is very flimsy and when you adjust it at all most times it comes unclipped and falls right off. I love that it plugs in so you never have to worry about batteries. I tried a couple much higher priced swings as well as neither compared to this one

My personal Graco Glider never worked. Whether I used the plug in or battery option it would only swing for a few seconds & then stop. The music box sounds like it was hit with a baseball bat. The only option that works on the whole glider is the vibration part which only works with batteries. I am very disappointed in this product.

This glider has been great for us, we used it several times a day when baby was very little & it was great for getting her to sleep. She is now 7 months old & 17 lbs & it still works great & swings well. We don't use it as often as we did for the first 3-4 months, it is more for fun or to hold her while I do something, but still useful. I have never had any problems mechanically as some other reviewers have posted. The little toy bar with the hanging toys does fall down kind of easily but we don't really use it anyway. It also fit very well in our smaller sized living room, as opposed to some of the swings. Overall was a very good purchase.

So I one of those people who reviews thing a lot before I purchase it because I want what I buy to be worth it. Well after all the non stop reasearch for the right swing I was going crazy, so my boyfriend decided to take over. He did very well with this he found this and did his research and decided to buy it. Our son love this he actually like to sleep in it more then he does his expensive bassinet we brought him. He loves the water sounds and the swing doped on either 1,or 2. We love that it plugs in but hate that you need batteries for the vibration to work. Since it does have a cord you doexpect it to be long but it really isn't and I hope in newer models they change that. We have had the glider for 3 months now and we hope we use it for a long time, and be a me to use it when we have a third child.

I was really worried about receiving this swing as a gift because of all the reviews. When we got the swing and had it set up, we loved it instantly! My 3 month is in love with her swing and loves the toy bar it comes with. I would HIGHLY recommend this swing to anybody!!

I bought this in hopes that it would be great by the features & design. It is the biggest piece of junk. After 2 months of use with a NEWBORN, it acts completely worn out. It hardly swings at all anymore. I can set it on "4" & it moves less than the first setting. It's almost like it tries to work against itself. I have made sure it's put together properly & its level. I couldn't be more disappointed with it & wouldn't give it away unless it is the dumpster. I only gave it one star because I had to for submission of this review.

Our baby is small, 5th percentile in weight. The motor died less than a month after we started using the swing, when he was a newborn. I used Graco's online form to issue a complaint, and they sent me a replacement motor no questions asked. But it also died almost immediately. I've heard other complaints from parents about Graco swings and their motors. Don't bother. I love everything else in this collection, though.

we got this at our shower for our miracle baby and had picked this one bc of its size, reviews and it plugged in. It has worked great for us, my little chunker is 4m and almost 20 lbs and its still going strong. We keep it on the first speed for the most part and he still likes it even if his little feet are hanging over it a little. I guess my only complaint would be the vibration only works on a battery and since it doesnt light up when you turn it on like the speeds do I forget its on and the battery runs out every few days bc i forget its on, so that part of taking the whole cover of the swing off to change a battery gets old and annoying. but other then that it works great for us!

It's the only way I can get him to nap. It has the option to run on batteries (good of outside) or for the included a/c adapter (perfect for long time use). The assembly was easy (once all distractions where taken care of). The different sound choices are really nice. 16 songs and you can choose white noise, waves, rain, Mommy's heartbeat, or night time sounds. All very soothing.

Love this glider! Glides so smoothly it puts me too sleep lol. Only flaw is the bar with hanging stars comes off easy otherwise it works great and I haven't had any issues with it what so ever. My daughter is now 4 months old and 14lbs. Had it since I was 3 months pregnant. Great for helping to put baby to sleep on those restless nights.

I purchased this swing new one year ago and absolutely loved the gliding motion. I have used the product with a couple of newborns as I am a foster parent who cares for substance exposed infants. The gliding motion was super comforting to each of them. However I went to turn on the swing the other day and the motor was gone. The swing still looks brand new and I am very careful with the products I purchase. I would love to give this 5 stars but for the amount that you pay for it I feel it should last longer than a year, especially when the use was not constant. If you are certain you will only need to use this a couple of months and don't mind the price then this is a great product, just don't expect to use it with more than one little one.

My twin daughters love these swings. The foot print is smaller than a traditional swing, so they worked great for having 2! They have a lot of features, that we didn't even use; music, vibration etc. Also, Graco has great customer service we lost the hardware to build on and Graco sent us the hardware at no cost!

We simply returned the defective glider and the new one worked perfectly! Our now 5 month old son has been soothed by this product since he was born. He was 8lbs and 22in at birth, big boy! And he is now 17lbs and 27in and still enjoying it. The swing range is notably less (4"-5" each way on level 6) now that he's heavier and longer but it's still sufficient enough to soothe. Basically, if your glider is only moving at most, an inch in each direction, return it and get another one! A properly working glider made this mama very happy. And one more thing, it was too cute when he became old enough to notice and grab the hanging hedgehog and stars (we have the Happy Hedgehog print).

We received this glider as a gift for our first baby and we have loved it so far! Sure, little things like the bar not staying in place are annoying, but she never really had any interest in it anyways, so we just have taken it off and left it off. The glider itself is pretty great, swings like a dream. She falls asleep in it during the day for her naptime and it really soothes her with the vibrations. I love the height of the swing itself, not too high that it's obnoxiously big, and not too small that it's barely off the floor. It's a perfect height and size for our very small one bedroom apartment. We had to be pretty picky with the items we chose to have for her and this is one we definately have not regretted!

We got this as a gift and love it. It's easy to put together and our baby loves it. We use the seat regurally by it's self and the glider every day. At level 1 it glides our 14lb baby with no issues! Love it!

The only good thing is the glider still glides but hes only 11lbs so we will see. -Bar with stars falls forward or backward does not click into each position which is a giant design flaw since this is a glider so with each gliding motion it sends the bar further forward or backward. -Bar does not stay clipped on well. -Sound at lowest level is still ptetty loud. -My swing DOES NOT work without being plugged in -The vibration doesnt work, never has Im hoping I can get a refund or exchange from the store I purchased it at because its not worth the money I spent

I bought the glider in Dec my baby was born in Jan. When he born it was okay. But now 4 months at 17 pds. It moves soo slow. I thought something was wrong. But once I took him him out it moves just fine. I think this was a waste of money. I wouldn't recommend the product to any one!! Product was great while the are small but once they get a little bigger it doesn't work that great. Vibration works great. Not having to plug it is fantastic. And battery power last a long time...

We received this as a gift and it has been a life saver! As a second time mom, I appreciated have one unit with both the vibration and swing together. It helped save on space and I always knew where to find it. Very easy to assemble....I did it by myself and it was done within 30 minutes. When I had questions about the unit, customer service was very kind.

My lo has outgrown this swing (she is now 11 months) but if she could still use it, we would! I used this for my 4th child. I have had 2 other swings in the past. This is by far the best. It doesn't take up much room and the motion is very smooth. The only thing I could say negative is that I didn't like the music but I just never used it.

Just purchased the glider and It so slower on the highest setting number 6. Our baby is only 9 pounds. Box says good up to 30 lbs. Absolutely not true. I wouldn't recommend this product unless you want to swing it using your hand.

I bought the glider xl about two months a go for my twins, let just say its a lifesaver.

We bought this when my Son was 6/7 weeks old. It worked great, a little tough to put together, some of the holes were not aligned correctly w the frame. He slept in it because he had reflux. We started putting him in it again lately because it's the only thing getting him to sleep (we are going tthrough sleep regression) He is 8 months and 20lbs and even though it moves, it is nothing like it used to be. I doubt it would budge if he was weigh another 5 lbs.

I agree with all the other posters that say it doesnt work and is way too slow! My 8 lb baby never liked this swing because there was zero movement. Now he is 10 lbs. still doesnt like it. Wish I could return. Will make me weary of all other graco products. If you can- return this!!

My baby is sensitive to the jerky motions of swings, she dislikes them. I purchased the Graco - Glider LX Gliding Swing a few weeks ago and she loves the smooth fluid like motion this item gives it quickly puts her to sleep. I have noted that glider works faster on floors without carpet however she doesn't mind the slower speed it gives on carpet. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a sensitive baby.

I bought this swing because (on my 3rd child) I feel they like the gliding motion better than the rocking. It has been the best purchase BY FAR. Everything works as expected and he is almost 15 lbs. He LOVES playing with the bar with the hanging toys very much. Well done GRACO.

My husband and I were given this as a gift for our first child, expected at 2/21/2014. We were able to put it together very easily. Our favorite feature is that it seems more compact than a lot of the other swings we looked at when registering. We also like that it is essential "couch height" and not as close to the floor as some of the others we looked at. Looking forward to bringing our baby home in the next few days and seeing how this works for our little bundle of joy.

We love this product, although when the vibration part is on it is fairly loud and the toy bar falls off easily. Other then that this product is great!

It was a great place for my 6 lb newborn to nap, but once he passed 10 lbs, it was just too slow. Now at 11 weeks and 16 lbs, the highest setting (6) moves the swing about an inch in either direction. Of course I no longer have the box or I'd return it for a regular swing. The specs say it's good up to 30 lbs... not even.

I added this item to my registry and it was purchased. when I had my child I was so happy and egar to use the item it was one of the first used and it didn't work. the vibration mode didn't work nor did the swing glide. the only thing that worked was the nursery rhymes that came factory equipped on the product. im not happy at all because this is my second child and with my first as well as my second graco is all I use

This glider saved us on nights when our baby just wouldn't go to sleep. We love the faster speeds on it to put him to sleep. Works like a charm. I do agree with the previous poster that the bar with the dangling stars does fall off too easily. We actually  just keep it off now. Also, it seems like our son is starting to get a little too long to fit in it (he was 24 inches last time I checked at 2 1/2 months old) and it got noticeably slower when he hit around the 11/12 lb mark. We thought something was wrong with it at first. But we still have some time to get more use out of it, and he still seems really comfy in it. I think this product is worth it for those stressful first few months. 

Love the glider. It functions well so long as it is level. The baby loves it with one exception-the toy bar pops off at the SLIGHTEST touch an it is designed in such a way that it is impossible for the baby to actually reach and touch the toys. Also, would have been nice to have some interchangeable toys to attach to the Velcro straps. Other than that, the glider itself performs well.

This glider has so many great features. We love the variety of sounds/ music and that it is a smoother rocking motion than traditional swings with 6 speed options. Its important to know that when you first set up the swing and try it out- it doesn't swing hardly at all until you put weight in it (baby) and that it is slow to get going. We thought ours was broken we we first tried it :-)
