I absolutely love these! The hospital only gives you so many so I love that Frida made these and are easily accessible at the store or online. They are the perfect size (a bit heavy but not a deal breaker for me) the cooling sensation was a little hit or miss for me some hot very cold and lasted a long time while others were barely cool and didn't last long at all.... That being said it could have easily been user error and not the actual product. I like that eight come in a box and for a reasonable price.

After just having my child these Frida Instant Ice Maxi Pads are heaven sent! They give a gentle cooling that is such a relief just where I need it. It literally instanly gets cold and stays that way for several hours!

This product is great not only does it work for postpartum but I also like to use it during menstrual cycle when everything is sore or crampy. Helps ease the cramps of period as well. Definitely recommend this for postpartum care as well as if you get bad menstrual cramps.

Okay, these are pretty great! Say goodbye to the ice stuffed diaper. These are wonderful. They are cooling and soft. I would say the cooling is about 25 minutes or so but for someone with a third degree tear its amazing. At one point it felt almost too cold! Only complaint is I wish they were a tad bit longer. I will recommend to all the new moms to pack in their hospital bags for post delivery!

Instant ice maxi pads have the best results and will have you feelin tremendously better than before using this amazing afterbirth pad. I have had 3 kids and never had any product give me results like this one. I highly recommend anyone giving a natural birth to try these products out.

I recently bought these as a gift for my sister in law and she said they helped her tons after her delivery. The coolness it provided for her gave her relief and alleviated swelling and pain. Instructions were very clear so she was able to pop them before putting them on and atleast have one less thing to worry about. Since they were Maxi it also helped her not have any leaks.

On top of the many "life saver" products frida creates, the post maxi ice pack is a game changer. It lasts much longer than the ones you receive while recovering in the hospital and they are about 2 inches longer in both width and length. They helped me with post part in inflammation and certainly with recovery in general. I also used them on my neck as a nice distraction afterwards. Only recommendation would be to have a thinner barrier between the ice portion and padding itself to allow for a "cooler" effect.

I absolutely love this brand. Frida Baby and Mom. All their products are super helpful. For a new mom, I'd recommend going down their list of products and just adding them to your registry. This particular product takes away the mess & added stress of making your own cooling pack. And trust me, you will appreciate the relief :)

These ice pads are nice to have on hand but i will say they're not 100% comfortable. Yes the hospital gives you some ice pads when you leave but it's nice to have extras. It is a but uncomfortable when sitting as I feel it's a bit bulky but it's not horrible. They lasted a good amount of time for me too. I would buy again if needed.

I was surprised over how heavy and bulky these padsicles are! They aren't very comfortable to sit on and when you get up to walk around they are heavy. They also weigh too much to pack in your hospital bag and also take up quite a bit of room in your bag too, so I would opt for a different brand if you are planning on taking any to the hospital with you for delivery. They aren't the most absorbent pads either, so I would recommend wearing these at home inside an adult diaper or something to catch the extra flow. They only stay cool for 20-30 mins, compared to other brands and homemade padsicles. I probably won't be purchasing these in the future or gifting them to any other mommas.

Fridamom knows exactly what moms need with these Instant Ice Maxi pads. They are truly a blessing for postpartum recovery. All you have to do to make a cool pad is to fold it and wait for a snap. It lasts roughly a half an hour and is very soft and absorbent.

I wanted to love these because the cooling sensation after birth does definitely help but there were some things that I didn't like. You get 8 individual wrapped pads. They are absorbent but also provide cooling. To me the cooling wasn't too strong but it did help some. The pad is not super absorbent and they are thick. So it isn't the most comfortable and they are kind of heavy. So overall this really wasn't a favorite of mine. They did provide some relief. They just need some tweaking.

I have never seen maxi pads instant ice before. They not to big or to small. They get cold but its smoothing. I tried one to see how it works before I have my child soon. These are a must. I will have these in my hospital bag. I wish these was around when I had my other 3 children. The product display has a nice wrapping that can go in your bag with no problem.

I loved these! I had a second degree tear and stitches and I was just overall miserable. These pads are huge but they were perfect for me since I just stayed home, it absorbed all the blood and left me nice and cool down there. I gradually stopped bleeding to where I could downgrade to smaller pads, however I still used these when I would feel any throbbing or pain, the cooling sensation would help. The only thing I would recommend is to not wear it for so long. Sometimes I would wear it after the cooling sensation wore off and I just felt squishy and gross. And it is a bit expensive for the amount you get but if you're just looking for some cool and quick comfort for your lady bits and you don't care about the size then I def recommend these!

I cannot say enough how nice it was to have these products post pregnancy. Made the world of difference and made my time recovering actually manageable.

Can't even begin to say how much I LOVE these pads. Giving birth can take quite a toll on a body. A cold ice pack is the greatest thing ever postpartum. Frida pads even have the added benefit of being absorbent. With my first child the hospital gave me latex gloves filled with ice. They were an absolute mess as there was no absorbency, the gloves would get wet once the ice began to melt and it was uncomfortably cold with ice immediately on the skin. The Frida pads have changed everything. They adhere directly to your underwear, are absorbent, soft against irritated skin, long enough to cover front to back, don't get wet and last a really long time. Helps the swelling and irritation immediately. Very easy to use. A bargain for the relief they bring! Pack them in your hospital bag. You won't be sorry!
