Space Saver High Chair Indeed
July 16, 2016
We were in need of a new high chair to replace our bulky old one from 5 years ago-Our criteria: take up very little space, easy to clean, under $100 (Under $50 would be perfect). This space saver option met our needs, plus some. I debated purchasing another FP Healthy Care Booster Seat, since we had great success with that: very compact, EASY to assemble, transportable, inexpensive, but this updated version offered more bells and whistles-important to us was the ability to modify how we use it as my son grows. I wish I would have gone for the darker pad color in hindsight. The dimension of chair pad can be deceiving and make the actual seat look smaller, but it is more roomy than expected. I only wish that the pad wrapped around covered the sides of the chair, so that any food crumbs stayed on top of the cover. I truly like how secure the straps are when I buckle him in (he is 10 mo old) and the fact that I will be able to adjust how I buckle him in as he grows older. He is content and enjoys sitting at the table-interacting when we eat. The tray slides on and off easily and can be stopped at different intervals. I haven't tested all of the other options-like the recline feature, or removing the back simply because we aren't at the stage yet -but it meets our current needs.
