Hated the music at first, but over time, it became very soothing to both bubs and me, relaxing us both into a peaceful sleep. I am now searching for a 2nd one for baby number 2 as I love this musical mobile

i bought this not too long ago .. and the leaves stopped working the animals get stocked to the leaves ... very dissapointed !!

This seems to be a lovely bright thing when setting it up, but within a few weeks I came across the same problem that it seems many others have... the leaves stop the rotation from happening, and even when my engineer husband rigged the leaves out of the way, the thing still got jammed. Waste of money.

I love this mobile! We also had the aquarium but it didn't last. I have used this for BOTH kids and six years later the leaves stoped moving. My daughter still loves just the music so I leave it for her. Wish I could figure out what's wrong because she loves it so much but we certainly have gotten our use from it! Maybe we'll get another. Haha

My son loved it, however the leaves stopped working and has been useless to us ever since!

I brought this for my neice who lives in Australia. During the first couple of days we assembled it for her and used it only for the music (which worked perfectly) then later after 2 days we tried adding the swing, however when we did it just turned slightly once and then it stopped. :( very disappointed. The main reason why we got it for her was for the motion along with the music.

I want to change this to a 5 star after we are able to use it. I actually haven't been able to use it much, I just got it from a consignment shop for my grand babies and the remote was missing. I can't seem to find where to order a replacement remote. Can you help me with this please?

My baby loves it, and I love it also, but the leaves get stuck and then won't work properly. Very disappointing and frustrating

I bought this machine and no two thing work together either it spins and no music or music and no spin this has really changed my mind on fisher price products

I did buy mine for my granddaughter at a charity shop very cheap in great new condition. Like others it didn't rotate when I got it home. Because I didn't pay much I unscrewed the top part off and took off the leaves and animals. I checked that the motor was running which it was. The inside was very simple, nothing broken and a little band from the motor was stilled attached. I put the top gear piece on and checked it was rotating properly which it did. Then piece by piece I put it back. Works perfectly and I love it. As I said it is simply designed and I think if the motor is still running, the problem lays with the top gear not catching to move it around. I think that this could only happen if the top leaves are pulled or jerked from there spot a little or push in too hard when assembly knocking the gear out of place. If you open it up and re-adjust this it works perfectly. We have had no issue since doing this. I know most may not want to do this, and it may void warranty, but this was easy for me as I brought it second hand.

we bought this mobile for our daughter she lovesthe movement..but off late the leaves dont rotate once the music button is pressed we have to give it a little push and then it starts. Also the music volume is very very soft sometimes not audible even whhen we put our ear to the speaker.

The music plays but from the very first time we turned it on the mobile doesn't turn. Terrible product. And to see how many people have the same review. So disappointing, to think that Fisher Price keeps selling this thing. Terrible.

Its a great mobile, if I say anything negative, the sight won't let me post it. But I have bought 2. They really are great and entertains. But the won't keep turning, therefore my rating. I'm attaching a picture of the two mobiles side by side. Notice that the names of the composers are in a different order on the two mobiles. But both mobiles lay the same songs in the same order. One of them must be wrong and I don't know which one. Overall I love the mobile, but can't recommend dur to the issue with the rotation.

I bought this mobile for my grand daughter and she loves loves it. She can be sound asleep and if it shuts off she starts to cry lol

My son is two months old and it worked fine. It just stopped spinning. It will spin if I move it but not like it was designed to. I would never by another fisher price item or recommend their products to anyone I know.

I read all those reviews about this mobile but still bought it. Its really great at first, great idea with remote control, soft music and cool toys. The only thing is that it stuck sometimes and stop moving around. I manage to fix it by pressing on and off buttons several times.

We got this mobile as a gift in 2010 for our oldest daughter. We used it every night until she was almost a year old. It was put in the basement and then made the move to our new home. Our 2nd daughter was born October 2013, so brought out the mobile again. Like some other stated the leaves on our mobile began not working, or at least one leaf. I figured out that if I kept the one leaf up, everything else worked fine. I finagled it to stay up and used it with out issue. Eventually, the leaf began working again and we haven't had any problems. Still a favorite at our house.

We bought this after my son had a similar one in the nicu when he was first born. We absolutely loved it and could not have done without it. The music was pleasant, as a professional singer I found it to be soothing and lovely to listen too... not too "babyish" We never had an issue with it like many of the other reviews, and in fact used it for almost two years, our son loved it so much. Maybe we were just lucky but it was a fantastic mobile for us. Highly recommend.

What a cute mobile. It had the potential to be another fabulous product from Fisher-Price. The design is so good that even though it never worked right, our baby still likes it. It flat doesn't work. Like the other reviewers, the mobile portion works intermittently at best. The remote only works to turn the mobile off after it's been started on the base unit. Such a beautiful product if it worked... the music is even tolerable to professional musicians (us). If you want something that works right out of the box, this isn't the mobile for you and your baby. The grandparent who bought this usually researches everything for months, I wish he had for this mobile.

My baby has used this mobile for 4 weeks, maximum of 30 mins per evening. It worked well when assisting putting him to sleep but after 3 weeks the leaves stopped going up unless someone physically assisted them, thus rendering the mobile useless and one unhappy baby when his mobile did not go round. really disappointed with what i thought would be a lovely toy for my baby.

My son loved this Mobil it's a great idea, the leaves stopped working and the Mobil needs to be pushed to move. It's a shame this stopped working after 6 months.

This is the best thing that I have bought for my daughter. I mainly use if for one thing which is the jungle noise. I switch it on when she goes in her cot and she is normally asleep within 2 mins, it is amazing!! Before I bought this she would not sleep on her own, it has been a god send. She is now 11 weeks old and sleeps 12 hours with one feed in the middle of the night. Any other time she stirs I hit the jungle button and she's asleep again in minutes. I highly recommend this product!!!! I don't normally do product reviews but I had to share this to all of you mums and dads wanting a good nights sleep! If your after a mobile to entertain I wouldn't buy this one, if you want a sleepy mobile this is perfect.

Such a shame as my son loved the jungle mobile but after 9 new batteries in less than two weeks it was a let down - the jungle leaves freeze or jam causing the mobile to stop then my son was becoming upset.

The Rainforest Peak-a-Boo started off well- bright colors, great interactivity, but soon after we got it the leaf and butterfly mobile motors stopped working. Very disappointing. Sounds like this may be a common fault. Does Fisher Price replace parts??

I am not impressed with this mobile. Y do the leaves not work going in and out??? After countless new batteries they still don't work and it kind of puts the rotation outa whack. I think I could have bought something better for less. :(

This is a great looking mobile and very sturdy but unfortunately due to two major issues it is useless at this point. 1) it does not properly fit the crib. We have convertible cribs and in order to install product safely it has to be mounted so close to the corner of crib that my son has to look backwards in order to enjoy it. Wish there was an adaptor available for the convertible cribs. 2) the volume is to low and doesn't grasp my son's attention. This properly wouldn't be that big of an issue if we could install the mobile more towards the middle of crib. I am hoping that there is an adaptor available for this product and I'm just not aware of it.

We purchased this and read all the reviews. Like so many others we figured that the ones that had motor problems were few and far between. That was until the third time we used our mobile. Our son loved it and we thought it was beautiful but then the palm leaves stopped moving and jammed up the whole rotating motion. We replaced the batteries and it didn't help. Now every time we try to use the mobile it will work for about a minute and then slow down and stop. We basically have to stand next to it to keep it moving. It has been the worst product we've purchased and we are returning it. Our next mobile won't be Fisher Price. Listen to the reviews and don't buy this mobile! You'll be disappointed!

I would love this product if it didn't consume four "D" batteries each week. My twins love falling asleep to the moving, light up animal lights. However, four "D" batteries only last for one week. We don't even use the mobile each day, nor is it used excessively. Once you calculate the cost of batteries plus the cost of the product you'll end up spending just under $300 for the first 7 months (right before the kids will start pulling up). What a dissapointment!

My twin boys enjoyed this colorful toy but were equally frustrated when the mobile stopped moving - also 2 months of use!! Replaced the batteries still does not work !! extremely frustrating - tried to disassemple the top item where the motor was and its impossible to put it back together! very frustrating for me and my boys!

I like the music, and that it has a volume control. The night light is a nice feature as well. It's not super bright, but enough to be comforting. The remote is a waste imo. I have to get so close for it to register that my little one can see me, so I might as well just go in and push the button. I was very disappointed that when I went to use this with my newest baby the leaves don't work anymore. I thought maybe it just needed new batteries, but they still aren't working. I am bummed, because my son really enjoyed it.

We have been using this toy only for a month and now the leaves and the toys stop moving. It seems like they stop moving when the leaves are going up (too heavy maybe?). If i give a little tap to the leaves to go up, they start moving again. Our little baby girl really enjoys the sound and the mobile, so i really want to keep this toy. I sent an email to the customer service to respond. I would recommend this to a friend only if they give a good solution for this.

I bought this mobile for my twin boys, they love it but unfortunatelly after less than 2 months of use the leaves and the animals don't move. The music and the light still works. At the beggining we thought it needed new batteries, but even with brand new batteries it won't move, I'm very disappointing because the boys used to enjoy the mobile.

When I 1st installed the mobile, my daughter was quite distracted by the moving animals. As she grew older, she became less interested in the mobile, but was still calmed and distracted by the lights & music. Now that she is able to pull herself up, she will press the buttons to turn on the music herself, and has grown to enjoy watching the actual mobile again. I love this mobile for her, but wish I could find the musical pieces sampled by the three composers so I can get the complete versions to play for her.

the leaves and animals move soooo slow my baby lost interest after about a minute and hasn't wanted to look at it since. I wish I could send this back but already got rid of the box and everything.totally not worth the $50+shipping

Love this mobile. The characters look down at him vs him looking up at the underside of an object as with other mobiles. Brilliant colors and whimsical music is very entertaining. Love the multiple music, motion, night light options. Could use a longer timer option (for his active days). It is stimulating and soothing. He appears entertained and can focus on the movement. He looks at the base from where the music plays so the colorful nightlight is entertaining too. I grew up with Fisher Price and was thrilled for this to be my son's first FP toy.

Along with Bach, Beethoven and Mozart there's the white noise maker. And between the four of them, if baby is even close to tired, he'll just be completely lulled to sleep by the quiet music and soothing motion of the animals circling over him. At 9 months, when he started crawling around, we turned the night light off, however, so he wouldn't get distracted by it and try to tap the light. In the morning, we now know if baby is awake when we hear Mozart playing in the nursery!

This is a great addition to the crib. My son really enjoys following the floating frogs. I love watching him follow the motions.

Since around 11/2008 have had 2 for twins-one not functioning properly after a # of months. Leaves sometimes prevent rotation. It would be nice to have a consistently functioning product. Idea was great-colors great-theme great-just needs better QA.

My son likes this mobile quite well. It doesn't hold his attention for long periods, but mobiles aren't really designed for that anyway. I did find that the light is very weak & might as well not be there. The thing I love most is the batteries last a very long time.

We looked at many mobiles before putting this on our baby registry we were hesitant due to the cost but all alternatives seemed so chintzy and of poor quality. Our son is now 6mos old and he still LOVES this mobile, even though he doesn't like the start of "nap time". He will watch the little bugs and night-light while listening to the music which calms him down. We like that it plays for awhile. The only issue we have is that he has a sleigh crib which made it nearly impossible to attach the mobile. We ended up attaching near the head of his crib it could not attach to either side. Also about a month ago the mobile stopped spinning but daddy was able to get it working again. So far no issues with going thru batteries "too fast".

i love this product because when i play at night time my son has a light and a music and toys all at one time

We've used this since my daughter was born and now she's 9 months. It puts her to sleep and also keeps her amused in her crib while I can get things done! It's great!

Bought this for my twins as newborns, They are now almost 2. I removed the mobile when they started standing, but the music box is still on my daughters crib, she refuses to let me remove it and turns it on herself evry night when they go to bed. The music is very soothing and quiet, we hardly hear it through the monitor, but my kids insist on having it. Remote feature didn't get much use, even though I have line of sight from my side of the bed did not have range to work from our bedroom to theirs (20-25 feet).

We have loved using this mobile for the past 15 months. My son enjoys pushing the buttons and selecting his own music, and watching the animals go 'round. The music is very soothing and there is a nice variety. I never had a need to use the remote, but did notice it did not work well when I initially tried it out. Maybe that's why I never used it. I have noticed in the last couple months the motor in the mobile slowing down and have been using a separate soother. But today for his nap I tried to turn the mobile on and it is dreadfully weak... I even put brand new batteries in it. The animals just can't make it past the leaves when they come down! I am very sad... But my son went to sleep just fine with only the music. I will try to contact customer service to resolve this problem. Maybe I can buy a new motor? I would love to refurbish this product for a possible next baby.

I was looking for an engaging mobile for my son. In the end, this was little better than a cheap wind up one. The batteries die quickly and are a pain to change. The noise of the mobile turning is loud, so I never could use it to put my son to sleep, only when I needed to have him play in his crib for a few minutes. The music is nice and I liked having a variety of classical options.

We used this mobile for a year and still use the music box portion at 15 months old. I would suggest this product for anyone who could use a mobile with a remote for the music.

My son is 19 months. We recieved this at our shower. It still hangs on his crib. While at this point he's not so much interested in the music he loves this animal noises and also watching the animals spin around. I was nervous before he was born about registering for this and the soother because they aren't the cheapest. I have NEVER been disappointed with either of them!!!

I got this as a shower gift from work and we set it up for my son as soon as he moved over to his crib from his bassinet. That was when he was three months old - he's now 9 months old, and it's going strong. I have never had any troubles with it, other than the remote has to be pretty directly in line with the mobile (but I never use it anyway). The music helps him fall asleep, and the mobile was fascinating for him when he was younger. I'd recommend this to anyone.

I got this for my older daughter when she was about 3 months old. She used it until she was about 2 (liked to push the buttons to turn the music on and off); then I handed it down to my newborn. My newborn is now 14 months and the mobile is still going strong. Don't know why other people had such trouble...Only thing that didn't work well was the remote (needed an exact path and had to be pretty close), but I didn't care about that.
