Lovely playmat, very steady the arches will not fall onto baby. Bright colours, lots of different attachments that could also be used on pushchair/car seat. Toucan has lots of songs, 2 sound levels and switch to how long you would like the melodies to play. Toucan easily attaches to playmat and comes off. Only thing I would ask for is batteries prvoided for toucan but would recommend to friend.

I received this play gym approximately one week ago and my three month old daughter has loved using it ever since. It comes in a clear plastic carry case and is easy to open and assemble. There is a handy instruction booklet but, to be honest, you can assemble the play gym without it. It appears sturdy and the four legs, which fit neatly into the four corners of the mat, hold up the frame of the play gym. The material which the mat is made off appears hard wearing and small spills can be wiped off easily. Three AA batteries (not included) are needed for the toucan which enables the gym to come alive. There are various soft toys which can be attached to the play gym via convenient hooks. These include a monkey, elephant, toucan, a textured leaf which makes a crinkly/crunchy sound when pressed as well as a butterfly. A rattle is also present. The play gym is brightly coloured and stimulates all the senses of my daughter allowing her to develop her inquisitive nature. She loves the fact that the soft toys are all within reach of her when she is lying down and smiles and laughs when the music plays upon she moving on the mat. I like the fact that the music can be turned on to a "constant play" and "play when movement occurs". This latter allows the batteries to be conserved and keeps the little one interested in moving around the gym and exploring. She is constantly pulling on the soft toys and I like the fact that the monkey is slightly elastic meaning that she can pull it towards her. She also likes the chewy toy and has already begun gnawing at it. Prior to use I had some concerns that the gym would collapse with the legs popping out or rolling over when she moved from one side to the other. However, these concerns were quickly dispelled upon realising how sturdy the play gym was. Disassembly was a straightforward process and, although I have not done so yet, I would be able to put the play gym back into the carry case within a couple of minutes should I have wished. I like the fact that the individual soft toys can be individually removed and used as toys in their own right but are also part of the play gym. The only criticism/potential improvement I would have is that the toucan which sits on top of the play gym sits too high up from the mat. It would be nice if this was lower down so that my daughter could touch it. Alternatively, if it is to sit so high it would be nice if the toucan had a base which allowed it to rotate and move whilst playing music. However, all in all, an excellent product which will continue to provide hours of fun for my daughter.

Large colourful playmat keeps the little ones entertained. Detachable toucan which you can play with without the mat. Lots of lights and sounds, and so many colourful animals! The mat itself is removable and washable, which is a great feature when little (sticky) babies are going to be using it. Plastic storage bag is very useful for keeping the mat clean when taking it away with you.

Large bright play gym for babies, liked the toucan with music which was a nice extra feature. The large giraffe at side is a good addition as well as other detachable toys on the bars. It is well packaged and looks sturdy.

I would not be without the Fisher Price rainforest gym. It is my baby's favourite toy and she will happily lie underneath, completely engaged in it. There is so much to stimulate baby - lights, bright colours and patterns, textures, sounds and movable hanging toys. It is also a large enough size to accommodate two babies when we have had friends over to visit. I really like the sound and light function; it can be set to either play continuous music for 20 minutes or it can be movement activated. It has so many songs and sounds that the rest of us haven't got fed up of hearing them! The mat is so bright and colourful and of the reputable Fisher Price quality you'd expect. My baby has progressed from lying on her back and looking to reaching and rolling with the help of the mat. The toys are a great encouragement to her! When she is older she will enjoy the removable toucan toy with its lights and sounds. The mat itself is easily removable for washing and still looks as good as new after several washes. The carry bag is another thing I like, meaning we can easily take the gym away on holidays with us or to store it away in for future babies. It literally folds up in seconds. This is by far the best play gym we have tried, and I would recommend it to any new parent.

The actual May is nice and thick so we can lay it on the wooden floor and it's still comfy for the baby. Nice and easy to set up. It has lot of removable toys that the baby can engage with. Even the older children (1 &2) wanted to join in and play. The toy that sits on the top is abit heavy so I might not put it on top when the baby lies under.

My daughter was so excited when she saw this gym, the vibrant colours and animals really appealed to her. The toys are lovely and you are able to move them, she enjoys taking the parrot in the buggy with her too. Her brother (6) has also enjoyed playing with her - the sounds, feel and toys are very inviting. She has spent hours on this gym I would definitely recommend this to anyone! Great bonus that it is wipe-able material and machine washable.

Was given this item as a gift and my son seems to really enjoy gazing up at the colours and listening to the music. The mat is quite padded so makes it a bit more comfy for him - some of the play gyms I have seen have a really thin mat and I would wonder how comfortable that would be for a little one who is going to be laying on it for periods of a time. It doesn't come with batteries which was a little annoying as had to go to the shops and buy some - luckily they are only AA batteries it needs - but still a hassle to head to the shops with a new baby. Looking at the price of the gym I would have thought throwing in some batteries for free wouldn't cost Fisher Price a huge amount. The musical toucan is great, but is quite a solid plastic - for a newborn it is nice to have soft items. but still the toucan can be removed. It is very easy to assemble - haven't tried taking it to part yet, but I am sure it is very easy. I like that you can machine wash the mat and that the rest of it is wipe clean. The Toucan has a variety of nursery rhyme songs and has a short or long play mode and volume control. It has a lot of things to stimulate their senses - i.e lights, mirrors, colours and sounds. It is a very well made baby gym and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is expecting a baby. It keeps your baby entertained for a while enabling you to get a few things done around the house!

Very good baby gym. Easy to assemble and good quality. Keeps my son entertained for very long time. Has various activities and sounds, all in a reach of his hands. Toys can be detached and used not only when on the mat. I would definitely recommend this product.

A nicely cushioned mat with an extensive array of toys to keep your little one entertained for as long as possible. I was sent this toy to review. My son is a little too old for this now (he's 11 months) so we gathered the younger offspring of friends to give it a try. It seems more sturdy and easy to assemble than other versions in my experience. Considerate to have the option to play 20 minutes of tunes rather than having to go back over and over to press buttons and jangle toys at your baby. I also like the feature of reactive noises from the toys when baby moves. Will it keep them quiet for a while? Worth a shot, especially when bought for a comparable price to competitor playmats. Warning: be careful that the arch doesn't ping out and whack you in the face when you open it :-/

Recieved this a week ago when I opened I thought how colourful it was and then how many different things there are for baby to do and see. Is a great aid to encourage baby to explore.

Straight out of the box my daughter loved this item. Thick, padded washable mat with loads of things to keep little one interested. Great range of sounds and lights for all round stimulation and the option of a take-along toy that's a familiar part of playtime. Can't recommend highly enough.

Got this babygym for a friend's baby. They both absolutely love it! Bright colours and good quality materials. The new musical toucan is an absolutely favorite. Baby is 5 months old and I can see her getting lots of use out of it still.

Mes conclusions : je ne le trouve pas différent des autres si ce n'est plus flashy et brillant par les bords mais j'ai tendance à ne pas aimer cela. Ce que je recherche d'un tel produit : couleurs attirantes pour les bébés (vous l'avez), zones qui font du bruit (vous l'avez), zones de tissus de textures différentes (vous l'avez, surtout avec les bords tout doux), un miroir pour attirer la lumière et ainsi l'attention de bébé (vous l'avez), des éléments à suspendre (vous en avez plusieurs et à différentes hauteur et je trouve cela bien, Bravo), que les éléments soient détachables (vous l'avez, notamment le perroquet qui est VOTRE valeur ajoutée car un vrai jouet en plus). J'ai bien aimé le lion qui remonte sur un des arceau car c'est le meilleur moyen pour inciter bébé à basculer sur le coté. La taille me parait bien également, même si je me suis toujours demandé pourquoi les tapis n'étaient pas rectangles puisque bébé ne fait souvent que rouler latéralement sur lui même.... J'aurais aimé : une zone de musique et/ou de lumières dynamiques. Cela augmenterait encore le prix mais cela attire réellement l'attention de bébé et l'incite à basculer sur le coté, voire même sur le ventre ! Etape motrice supplémentaire ! Votre prix est un peu cher (85€ il me semble). J'avoue que je ne l'aurais pas forcément acheté à cause de cela, même à 10 ou 20€ près. Il y a vraiment tout ce que l'on recherche dans ce tapis des couleurs vives qui permet à bébé de s'éveillé, de la musique attrayante pour bébé, des jouets amovibles qui ce détache, on peut les utiliser dans la poussette, mais aussi plus tard quand il grandisse. C'est un super achat qui dure dans le temps et qui est super pour l'éveil. Pour les parents on peut régler le niveau sonore et ça c'est super. Je le recommande à tous mes amis. C'est le MEILLEUR TAPIS.

I got this a month ago as a free sample and I am pretty satisfied with the product. My 5 months old loves to play the hanging toys, especially while seating supported. we also take the toys on-the-go or for tummy time. The only negative thing about this product is that it doesn't keep my baby entertained as much as I expect so. Overall, it's a nice toy to have and we use it everyday!

This product has exceeded my expectations. There are a number of detachable toys included that are great with the mat and can be removed for on-the-go use. I like the detachable parrot that plays the music. The mat provides a soft place for my infant to play on his stomach or back and he seems to discover something new each time he plays.

I received this product for free from Mattel for my fair and honest review. First off this was so easy to put together! I had this put up in a couple minutes! The mat is very big and colorful, with a really cool jungle scene! There are lots of hanging animals and places to put them. You can arrange them different for when baby is on their back vs. tummy . There is also a neat spinning monkey right on the top in the middle. My daughter loves grabbing him! There is also a toucan that sits in a nest deal on top. You can adjust it to play songs and animal noises every time there is a vibration. So when your baby reaves and tugs on a toy a song or jungle noise plays. The Toucan is removable so it can be taken along when traveling. The beek lites up when a song plays. My daughter loves the lights! The mat actually looks pretty comply too. My daughter has actually fell asleep on it a couple times! All in all I love this product. The only thing I'm not sure on is the price. I probably would have never bought this on my own as the regular price is about $70. On sale it probably isn't too bad of a price. I would have paid $50 for this if I were to buy it. I've included a picture, and wanted to note there is a removable stuffed giraffe but it was off at the time of the picture. That's another thing that can be carried around!

This activity center is fully loaded! The bird on top plays music and lights up. It is easily removable and has a handle for a child to carry around. The different toys are easy to hang for play time and can be wrapped safely around the "legs" of the center ensuring your child doesn't pull one off and hit themselves. The toys can also be taken off easily and played with individually. There are extra loops for adding more toys to the center, or changing them around to suit your child's favorites. There is also a little mirror that can be moved to different areas of the "legs," allowing the child to see themselves in any position. The mat is a good size and a baby can easily lay on the entire mat without hanging off the edge. It is also very soft and slippery, making it easy to wipe up spit-up. This is a great activity center!

We have multiple activity gyms but our baby loves this one the most. It's even better than we had hoped it would be! It is bright, colorful, stimulating, and the perfect size. We like that it is very well made. The mat and bars are well padded and do not contain any sharp edges or small parts. It is easy to assemble and put away. The toys can be wiped clean and the mat can be machine washed. All of the toys can be moved around and reconfigured with ease and I can even add other toys to add even more variety. The toys are all fun and engaging and keeps baby entertained. The gym is wonderful for working on fine and gross motor skills. My 4 month old baby loves to lie on her back and reach for/pull the toys, look at herself in the mirror, and watch/listen to the musical bird. She even likes to do tummy time on the mat, which keeps her attention with the vibrant colors. The gym will grow with baby as she is able to sit up, scoot, and crawl. My 2.5-year-old toddler even loves it! She likes to put a blanket over it and make a tent and pretend she is in the rainforest. She especially loves the bird and plush giraffe, which are a good size. We love this Fisher-Price activity gym! It is definitely a must have for both parents and babies.

The ensemble was very easy, it took me less than 10 minutes to put everything together. The toys are very cute, easy to clean, grab and you can change all positions. I was surprised when I saw the giraffe, was so cute and big. It's perfect to teach my son to roll over and for tummy time. The playmat has bright colors and the silk on the border makes it look even nicer. It's very light and easy to carry around. We kept the carrier to take the gym to mom's. Always put the playmat on carpet because it's not very padded. Don't forget to get 2 AA batteries. The only thing I believe is the mat should be a little bit large, after that I'm pretty much satisfied with this activity gym. I absolutely recommend this product.
