I love this product, and would tell any of my friends it is wonderful for sleeping, I love that it plays 5 minutes of songs!! My son loves his seahorse, and he requests his "babee" before bed every night. He is one and a half years old, and has been sleeping with the sea horse every night since he was born. My problem is, the first seahorse I had for him lasted for almost a year, and he had completely hashed it by then so it was not a big deal to buy another one. I have however, since then had to purchse more than 5 new ones. It seems they are not made as well as they were a year ago. They are too cushiony to get the back closed, and the screws are screwed in so tight that it is very difficult to get the batteries out to change it and I end up stripping the screws, making it very hard to take apart and put back together. I love this product and hope that this is not going to be a continueing problem.

This is an awesome buy! My daughter loves the music and is quieted fairly easy depending on her mood! Couldn't imagine not having it. It is especially great for car rides!

We got this for our son when he was born.He would just lay there and look at it till he fell asleep.We've had it his crib since he was born, now at 10 months he stills loves it.VERY GREAT BUY!!

This was given to me at my baby shower. I used it from day one when I had my son so he knew it was time to settle down and sleep. He loves to cuddle it and I know if he's cuddling it during the day he's ready for a nap or doesnt feel well. Its wonder to calm down a sick baby. I now buy all my friends seahorses for their baby showers!

its soft all over..even the light area. cute bubble sound music. very relaxing..doesn't keep us awake at night like other crib toys. its also great to have for older kids.

We received this as a baby shower gift and it's got to be one of the cutest items we got the entire day. You can make the sounds louder if it's daytime and we just want her to play with it or softer if she needs something to drowned out the noise of her older sister but gentle enough to put her to sleep. Since she's only 4 months old and she won't sleep anywhere but her swing we set it on her changing table. I expect her to enjoy it even more when she's able to grasp things for longer than a minute ;)

This is a great item for various ages - I have purchased several for my grandchildren, the music is very soothing..only drawback is that it comes in only 2 colors...I have grandchildren in same family and we need to tell them apart!

My 2 month old son loves this seahorse, almost as much as we do. It instantly calms him and is great for puttinghing to sleep. It is a true miracle worker.

My grandson is a premme and he has alot of acid reflux and is very irritable. This seahorse relaxes him and puts him right to sleep...I don't know what my daughter would do without it..

I bought the seahorse hoping it would stop my one year old from screaming for an hour every night . It worked. I would definatly recomend this for everyone with small children. I even bought one for my 3 year old. They both take them every where. Alex calls his "baby". Great product. Bed time is a breeze now.

We have a Both soother in the babys stationary crib and used this in his portable crib. He absolutely loves it. I think this grabs his attention more than the soother now. At 4 months, he started pushing the seahorse belly to turn it on himself. He can't quite get the hang of the soother yet. I would recommend this product if you don't want to spend the money on a soother. It works just as well for about 1/3 of the price. We have had problems with our soother, but no issues with this piece at all!

i bought this for my 3 month olds first christmas. now that he is 4 months we are trying to establish a good bedtime routine. every night we use the music and soft light while rocking for a quite time. it really does seem to sooth him. the music plays for a little over 5 minutes, and that always seems to be the perfect amount of time!

It puts my baby to sleep so fast! It puts me to sleep faster! lol My baby loves to hold it when he sleeps. I have to buy more than one because I don't want to be with out it if it breaks or wears out because we use it so much.

I have bought this for every baby I know including my son. Even as a newborn it soothes them to sleep without overstimulating them or being overly annoying to the parents as some toys are! I will keep buying this especially with the great price!

I purchased the Ocean Wonders Soothe & Glow Seahorse for my son for Christmas. He was almost 12 weeks old at Christmas. This toy has been wonderful for helping him go to sleep, especially when he doesn't want to be held and rocked to sleep. The light keeps his attention and seems to help him calm down enough to fall asleep. The music also helps calm him down. The only thing that isn't exactly as the description of the item says is that the music and light don't go off gradually...they both abruptly turn off, and my son isn't quite old enough yet to be able to turn it back on if he needs to, so I have to go in his room to turn it back on for him. But I would definitely recommend this item! Also, for only playing 5 minutes at a time, the battery life isn't that long.

These seahorses are absolutely adorable! I bought a blue seahorse for my 11 month old son for Christmas and my 9 month old niece received a pink one. They both love them! My son will touch the belly light when I turn it on and studies it intensely and happily until he falls asleep or it turns off. I love how soft and soothing the music is and the light is just the right intensity. The plush is very soft and the stitching is high quality. I expect this toy will last for many years to come.

Since i bought it for my daughter (she was 2 months old then and 8 now) we can't sleep without it. Even when she wakes up during the night she presses it and continues to sleep.

My 10 month old Jacob received this when he was about 4 months old, and it's become a required bedtime companion. Many nights I've found him with his arm around the seahorse. I highly recommend. The only improvement I can request would be the option of having it run longer than 5 minutes.

My sisters kids gave the seahorse to my daughter, and there are times I think it saved us. It has been in her crib since she was a month old and she is almost 9 months now. For a while we had to take it everywhere. I would recommend the seahorse for anyone, it has even worked on mom and dad. So it really does soothe and its not loud but has a volume control so you can make it louder if you like.

I was skeptical about buying this seahorse, I remember the original glow worm design and I never really liked it. I think this one is much cuter though. A lot of other moms recommended this to me so I went ahead and bought it for my 4 month old. I can honestly say he LOVES it! Every night I put him to bed with it, I turn it on and he wraps his little arms around it, stares at it's soft glowing light and drifts off to sleep. My only complaint is it only plays music for 5 mins, which sometimes isn't long enough. However I wouldn't trade this toy for anything at this point, I'm very pleased.

My sister bought this for my daughter when she was only a couple weeks old. The seahorse is fabulous for when we go on long drives to visit family, for putting her to nap, and for putting her to sleep for the night. It would be nice to have a changeable option for how long the music goes (as other posters have mentioned, sometimes the 5 minutes are enough, other times, I need to push the tummy twice or three times before it's long enough), but other than that, I love the design and the beautiful music (which doesn't bother my husband or me after multiple plays!) and soothing ocean sounds. My sister and I both grew up on Fisher Price toys, and my favorite "lovie" was one of the "blanket buddies" shaped like a bunny by Fisher Price made back in the mid 80's. My sister loved Fisher Price's little floppy lamb stuffed play toy when she was little and when she saw the seahorse, it reminded her of the years of soothing that she received from that item. I'm happy that I can pass on the love of Fisher Price toys to my daughter (and hopefully any subsequent children I have). Please keep making fabulous products!

I love this seahorse. I purchased it after reading blog after blog of skeptical mothers who had tried this seahorse and found it to be so wonderful. I was also a skeptic. My daughter (now 5 weeks old) loves this thing. She is totally entranced by it when I turn it on at night in her crib. She totally forgets I am there. My only complaint is that it goes off after 5 minutes and sometimes it takes 15 minutes to lull her completely to sleep. I just stand there and keep touching the seahorse's belly until she is sound asleep. It's awesome. the music is sweet. I know it's just a matter of time til she can turn it on herself. A wonderful toy. I will purchase this as a gift for all my new mommy friends!

My daughter recieved this as a Christmas gift when she was 6 days old. It has been a life saver. Many nights my daughter had trouble sleeping. I would squeeze the sea horse to start the music and my daughter would go right to sleep. She is now 8 1/2 months old and I still use it to help her to sleep. My niece is currently pregnant and I plan to buy her baby one.

My mother bought this for my son. He loves it! I can turn it on and he'll usually calm right down. The music is soothing and the seahorse is so adorable. I don't think that the packaging does it justice though. When I saw it in the box, I didn't think that it was cute at all. But, once the packaging was removed, it is just precious. Definitely a good buy for any small child!

"Glowie" (what my kids call it) is wonderful. Unlike other glow toys it plays for five minutes; it doesn't shut off after one short song. It also has a volume adjustment so that is nice. My son has one at home and one at Grandma's.

This is a great toy to soothe and entertain your child and can be used from birth. It plays different songs and lights up which provides comfort at night.

my son got this as a birth gift from his cousin. we put in the bassinet with him and let him look and listen to it till he fell asleep. it would always quiet him and he still loves it at six month when he wakes in the night he puts himself to sleep by sqeezing it. i wish all of his toys held his attention this long. definate keeper

There are nights we couldn't live without our sea horse. We would litterly have to keep it going all night to keep our baby sleeping and even now at 8 months old we still use for nap time and to help put him to sleep. We have only had to replace the batteries once.

My son recieved the Soothe and Glow Seahorse when he was two or three months old. He loved it from day one and immediately abandoned the overhead mobile. It's soft, a beautiful color, and plays songs that are easily recognizable, but are enhanced by cute bubble sounds that match the ocean theme of the product. My son is now six months old. We often sit him up to play, surrounded by toys. We always include the Seahorse and it remains a favorite. He cuddles with it and, at this point, can mash the toy's tummy to start the music himself. This product is inexpensive but, for us, has proved invaluable. I honestly believe that we will continue to use it daily for a long while to come. Again, my baby just loves it and I would highly recommend it to anyone with a small child.

I wanted to get my son a glow toy like I had had when I was little but when I saw this I just fell in love and when I brought it home so did my son who at the time couldn't care less about any of his toys. This seahorse became an instant bedtime necessity. I don't know how many times my son has fought naps or bedtime only to instantly tourn it off, roll over and go to sleep to the soft glow and soothing lullabies of this awesome next-gen glow toy.

We bought this when our son was about 6 months old and he LOVES it. He is now almost 2 and WILL NOT go to sleep without his seahorse. If he spends the night somewhere, it has to go with him. When my husband was in Basic Training we had a 13 hour car trip to go to his graduation and caden was 10 months old and I was dreading that drive but he would go right to sleep in the car with his seahorse!! We have since had a new addition to our family and she is 9 months old and LOVES her brother's seahorse so I think I am going to get her one as well! This is the best product I have ever bought. I received this as a shower gift and did not use it until the baby was born. Since she began sleeping in her own bassinet- she goes sound to sleep with the seahorse every single night. The classical music is soothing and puts her right to sleep. When she is not sleepy- I let her hold it and she is amused by the illumination from the seahorse's belly. I highly recommend this product for all sleepy babies!!!

We got this toy as a gift when our daughter was 11 weeks old and ever since then she has been in love with it. If she is crying I close the lights and light up the sea horse...the music and the soft glimmer of light sooth her and hypnotize her almost immediately!!! She has now associated this toy with sleep time...she literally gets excited since she realizes she will eat and sleep. The music and light last about 5 minutes just long enough to keep your baby busy in the bed and make them fall asleep slowly...I now feed our baby with this toy by her side and then put it in the crib with her to ease her to dreamland...I would highly recommend it:) By the way...I only said that the toy is moderately fun since it's not really meant to excite your child rather to calm and soothe them.
