I love the toys and the colors of this rocker. My 7 month old daughter liked the toy bar. I think it should have another seat position that sits them up more and a taller toy bar. It seemed like the toys were right in her face instead of above her head. It was easy to put together. I like that you can wash the seat. My 2 year old son got it in and loves it as a rocker.

After getting the infant to toddler rocker there was some Assembly required but it was really easy!!! Just needed a screw driver and maybe 10mins time. :-). Then I put it down for my 10mos old to inspect....she loved it!! She loved the bright colors and the ease of getting I. And out of it. I liked that if she had been smaller when we got it I could have used it as a seat for an infant complete with safety strap. Also it reclines which would be nice for younger babies for napping/resting She kept getting in and out of it and laughing and clapping her hands!! I really like that it will be able to be used by her until she reaches 40lbs. It is very durable and seems to be a quality addition of baby necessities for our household!

We've been looking for a chair for our 1 year old daughter that didn't take up too much real estate in our limited living space. The Infant-to-Toddler Rocker filled that need well enough. Out of the box, assembly was fairly simple. The directions were clear, and there weren't too many parts to keep track of. Once assembled, our little one ooh'd and ahh'd at the colorful design. At first, she didn't quite know what to do with the rocker, but we sat her down with it in the rocking position and she immediately loved it. It doesn't hold her attention for too long, though, but not much does with a 1 year old. She will go to it a few times a day, sit down to rock for a minute or so, then go back to what she was doing. The kickstand feature is nice for when we think she's being a little too adventurous with the rocking. It keeps the chair steady and helps mitigate the possibility of her tipping the chair over. My only concern with the chair is there are only two positions for the seat back. It would be nice if it had the ability to go up one or two more times to provide more of a chair-like experience than a recliner.

Fairly easy to put together. Placement of the seat belt straps and activity bar seem a little awkward. Other than that, it's an awesome product. My daughter loves it!

I absolutely love this rocker!. As we all know the baby gear takes over our homes and oftentimes many items are only good for a month, if that. We have been very selective on the big footprint items that we bring home. However, this is one that you can truly use for well over a year. It is durable, easy to move around the house, and a life savor when you need to free your hands to do tasks that you simply can't do when you are holding, or even wearing, your baby. My 15 month old beamed when given the opportunity to sit in the "big kid" rocker. This will be a go to baby shower gift for me in the future.

The Fisher-Price Infant-to-Toddler Rocker is a beautiful transitional piece as your child grows. My daughter is 16 months old and is definitely interested in this chair. It is bright, cheerful and yet has a sleek modern look. The cover is machine washable and we love the pattern of the sweet jungle animals and polka dots. It can rock, recline and has a kickstand which makes the chair perfect for naps. The Rocker can hold up to 40 lb / 18 kg, which adds to the longevity of the piece. It was fairly easy to put together, though my husband and I found the instruction's illustrations a little confusing, especially in steps 3 & 4. The toy bar is removable and, though my daughter is a little old, she loves playing with it. There is one thing that I would change. To transform the rocker into "Toddler Mode" you basically thread the restraint straps through the back. There is no where to go the straps they just hang on the ground. They are quite long and are very attractive to my daughter. I fear that they could pose a hazard if not dealt with. I hate cutting off the straps because that means I can't use them if I have another child later. Also the middle part of the restraint that goes between the legs is not removable and it has a hard plastic buckle. Since it doesn't stay in place, my daughter is always sitting on it and then squirming to get out of from behind her back. Ideally if these pieces were somehow removable, this chair would be perfect. Overall, my baby loves this chair. This has now become her favorite seat in the family room and creates a nice little nest for her to nap in. I feel very fortunate in receiving this chair, though I'm afraid I'm going to have to cut the straps in the back which makes me a little sad.

The Infant to Toddler Rocker was a great addition to my household. The assembly gave me a few moments of thought, my husband and I both had a hard time figuring out how to assemble the rocker using the given instructions. But we finally got the rocker put together and it is a nice solid, quality item. The seat cushion comes off which is great to allow you to wash it. My little girl was fascinated with the two toys that hang off the rocker, this entertains her for a good 15-20 minutes before she plays with other toys around her. The beauty of this product is that it is light weight and very portable, it isn't huge. Thus, I can carry it upstairs or downstairs to use. The best function I feel for this rocker is the adjustable seat, it lies flat and then up into a seating position. It lasts longer than other baby items such as a simple sleeper or chair because it is multifunctional. You can use it for so many months vs. just a few months. My baby is 10 months old and loves to sit in the rocker and watch me work. Whether that is in the kitchen or working in our office. It is a great durable, multi use, quality product I would highly recommend to anyone considering purchasing the rocker. You won't be sad you made this purchase, it is a great additional to your baby products!

We have tried several rockers like this in the past, and had issues with several. This rocker seemed to be better quality than our previous purchases. It was pretty simple and quick to put together and only needed a screwdriver. It came with all the parts and very well-written instructions. I really like the multiple seat positions so that when shes napping in it, I can lay it back further or if she is awake and wanting to play, I can move her into more of a seated position. I love the vibrate option and the colorful toys hanging, I do wish something on the toy bar made noise so it kept her interest a little longer. I love the durable plastic and how easy the seat part is to wash if we have any messy situations. Overall, I think this chair will grow with her and last many years to come for multiple children. I am very satisfied with the product.

Once I got it put together our daughter couldn't wait to play with the toys. She's one year old and I know this will last a few more years at least for her. She squealed with joy playing and rocking. This rocker was a piece of cake to put together! The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Baby was happy and comfortable as well as safely secured. Would recommend this rocker to any new mom or mom to be! Love how this rocker turns into a sitting rocker seat for toddlers so you get plenty of use of it :)

I brought this product as soon as my son was born. I brought it just to use it at my mom's House since I was staying there for a couple of days. At the end I ended up buying two chairs. One for my mom's house and one for mine. My son loves it. He loves the music, the rocking and he entertains himself playing with the hanging animals. But what I love the most is that my son has a reflux problem and the vertical/inclination position of this chair is just perfect for his health. He is a little happy boy. On the other hand, assembly is very straight forward. I did it myself in less than 10 min. Also, this product is not heavy at all, if I am cooking I take it with me to the kitchen without worrying if my son is going to fall since it is also very secure. It is very durable and a good investment. It doesn't seem like is made of cheap material and the colors are lovely. I definitely recommend this product to all the moms out there :)

The rocker was easy enough to put together, even with a sick and cranky 15 month old watching my every move. I love that it converts from and infant seat to toddler rocker, that the back has an upright and recline positions and that the chair has a kickstand for those times you don't want it to rock (though my toddler loves the rocking motion!) The seas is nice and deep, and, while I wouldn't trust my toddler to not fall out of it, she seems comfortable in the chair and doesn't really try to escape. The chair is a little tall for her to climb in and out of alone, but once she is in, she really does seem to love it. I do worry that she is going to rock over her fingers, since she loves looking over the edge and playing with the rockers, but that's why I continue to supervise her usage. The chair is pretty large, but no moreso than some of those plush chairs you might purchase for your child, and this one has many more features than those chairs. Even though I have a girl, I decided we had enough pink in the house and got the Midnight Rainforest design. Very happy with the chair. Would definitely recommend to someone who has the space for it.

My baby wants to be just like her big brother, and this seat helps her with this. As an infant, she was mesmerized with the hanging objects. She was a bit clingy, but I was able to put her into this seat and she would stay there quite happily for periods of time, allowing me to get things done around the house. Now that she is climbing and cruising, this seat is wonderful because after removing the toy bar, she has a "big kid" seat just like her big brother. The seat is strong enough to hold up to the daily wear and tear of a toddler, and I have great hopes of using it for future babies.

We got this seat in yesterday and got it put together which was very easy and right away my daughter was playing in it and loved it. She was able to sit up in it she is 5 months old. She loved the toys it came with and how it rocked (which she rocked herself to sleep in it). I love how the back you can change the position and the bar on the bottom where it can rock or not. I loved how wide the seat and base was it look to be very comfortable. And the cover comes off very easy to be able to wash it.

This is a smart purchase. The box was shipped very fast. There was no damage to the box which was amazing how some things are shipped. Once we opened the box it was very easy to assemble. The chair is bright and colorful. The stoppers on the front and back give the chair just enough rocking space. My favorite feature is the kickstand it makes feeding easy and baby stays comfy and safe. I think this would be a great product for any new parent. I love the fact my son can grow with the chair. I would definitely purchase this for a friend.

We were so happy to see this package on our doorstep after ordering it. We were so eager to put it together! Although our son is no longer an infant, he is still young and small enough to utilize it as a chair to sit on, and we thought he might enjoy it during playtime and story time. We were correct! It's only be a day, but... He owns quite a few other Fisher Price pieces with the elephant, and he was thrilled to see the elephant's face on his chair. It just looks fun. He sat in it while we read him his favorite book over and over again. (It's a very short book.) The chair is lightweight, easy to move, and it feels durable. Plus, it was easy to put together. it was a success in our household!

Product was fairly easy to assemble, the side rails were a little hard to get snapped into the front, but once I got them snapped in everything else was easy to put together. It is light, which makes it easy to move it from room to room. It seems nice and sturdy. I have a 2 year old who has already tested its durability and it seems like it will be great for him. I have both an infant and a toddler and have used it for both of them. My 2 year old doesn't usually like to sit in one place for to long and it got him to hold still and watch a movie, he loves the vibration feature and he likes to make it rock. My 5 week old doesn't really like the vibration feature (I think it is too strong for her right now) but she loves when we rock her in it. I like that it has the kick stand so that you can make it so it doesn't rock, it also puts it in the perfect position to let my baby nap in it. The toys on the toy bar are fun and bright colors. The bar snaps into place easily and can be easily removed. The seat itself is bright colored and my 2 year old loves naming the animals that are on it. It seems sturdy and the material is soft and wipes clean easily. It can also be removed so that you can wash it, a feature that I always love. Overall a great product, I like that both my kids can use it and that we will be able to use it for longer than a lot of the other baby products that we have.

This product was pretty easy to put together. i did need my husband to click the side pieces in for me. Otherwise i was able to do it myself. My daughter is one and was very excited once it was put together and climbed right it. she loved it. However did make me a little nervous that she would fall backwards when climbing in it since the chair rocks. It is very stable and she is not able to tip it over. I love that this product can be used for many different stages of a child's life.i would of loved to have this product when she was younger. it is easy to remove the cover and wash it. its light weight and easy to move from room to room. Over all a great product and we are very happy with it.

This product for sure was not engineered correctly to be a rocker. It is a very nice chair, but it is definitely not any rocker. It has NOT removable front feet which make it absolutely impossible to make any rocking movements. So naming this product a rocker is misleading. However as a chair it is very comfortable and colorful. Also easy to fold and put away. And it is light weight without taking much space so you can take it with you anywhere if needed. I would recommend it as a chair, but get something else if you want a rocker.

She quickly learn to first use her feet to turn it on until she was able to sit up and turn it on. When she wakes up in the morning she turns it on. We call it ''monkey tv" Advice use rechargeable batteries as your baby will love using this nightly.

great product,it helps out so much. like when we go over a friends house.now we can take our baby out of the car seat.and put her in to this.our baby get so relax.so yes buy one and use it when you go to somebody house to eat or something

With the light on, this soother is very bright in a crib at night. It is great for tummy time though. My son didn't like being on his tummy on a play mat but pops his head right up when we turn on the soother in front of him on the floor. Other toys/music didn't hold his attention like this one.

My six-year-old granddaughter has been using this since she was an infant. She still wants it when she goes to bed (and I sing along). We plan to buy one as a baby shower gift for her cousin.

I was skeptical at first when I got this. However it has been amazing. It reclines back for the baby to sleep and sits up and rocks with the toy bar to keep the baby occupied. The seat also vibrates. Now that my little one is older and starting to walk we have removed the toy bar and he loves to sit in his own rocker. Perfect chair and I love that it grows with the baby. :)

My child would not sleep in her crib but loved sleeping In this chair. It's soft and comfortable, and easy to wipe down. I bring my child into the kitchen and all around the house in the chair and they love it. Now at 6 months we use it mostly by the front door when we bring the baby in from the car seat and want to put them on something. I even mastered changing a dirty diaper in the upper recline position. The only part we never used was the dangling toy bar. When in the two lowest recline positions it puts the toys too far away for little baby hands to reach. It made the baby more angry that they were out of reach so we detached the bar.

I got this after we found our newborn could lay flat on her back to sleep. we bought this and she slept in this til she was 3 month then moved her to the crib. we baught a second one to go to daycare and she is still usign both a year later. excellent purchase!! suggest it to all.

We got this used in the old blue puppy/kitten print when I was pregnant with my first. I used it from the start as a place to safely put baby down. I kept it in the living room as my go to baby "spot". It was great for naps! I also could bring it in the doorway of the bathroom to keep baby close as I showered (that rare mommy luxury that for me was luckily not so rare thx to this!). I was surprised at how soon she figured out she could grab the mobile toys and play music. She's going to be 3yo next month and at 35lbs still occasionally naps in it lol! We had to retighten the screws a while back but other than that it has been fine. We also love that the cover can be thrown in the wash and air dries so quickly. I'm pregnant again and hoping this will get us through the next baby too but if not I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. I love how versatile this has been!

We have twin boys & they're huge. We bought these when they were six months and we've loved them ever since (over a year and a half ago). The covers are machine-washable and hold up VERY well (be sure to dry on low heat or air-dry. They are nice and light so they travel very well. They are sturdy and the boys still fall asleep in them (thanks to the seat vibrations). One chair does rattle when it's on, but I tuck a napkin up under the battery pack and it's gone. We're nearing that 40 lb weight limit and I will be sad to see these go. We would totally recommend these rockers/chairs.

I skipped the swing; we had no bassinet or fancy stroller. We had this rocker. It is a great rocker: sturdy, light to lift, cute, and convenient. My son used it to nap at least once a day for his first 6 months. I used to leave him by the door so he could doze off with a view. Now, at 8 months, he's strong enough to rock himself all the way forward and touch the ground. No more using the rocker for alone time! He still plays in it, supervised, when he needs a break from crawling. I'm excited that we'll be able to use it for a few more years! Just sad that I can't leave him in it for an afternoon nap.

I loved this so much I wanted one even before I had kids. My daughter loved playing with the buttons and all the sounds. I just wish there had been a way to plug it in! It was rather difficult to get on-and-off the crib for battery changes so we never put it back up when we had our second child.

I has bought a chair like this five years ago. Which only started taring on the sides the last two years. I believe due to his weight. But this one i bought for my second child. I only had it for a year and it is taring so bad on the sides that cotton falls and hangs of the side. It started to ripe after the first wash. (now my child can see it and now pulls it out more, now i have cotton balls everywhere. If i knew how it fit it i would.) it looks like they changed the material from five years ago. The new design no longer has the same material on the back which now causes the fabric to make cotton balls after washing. I did not have this problem with the old design. The new design has a shorter belt buckle strap, which i do not like. although, i do like how the belt is sewed from the middle, then from the side like the old design. The velcro on the back of the chair i did not like on either designs. This new design has a 4L x 1H inch strip of velcro and the old design has a 3L x 2H inch strip of velcro. Neither was strong enough to support the weight of a 8 lb baby, which i believe its due to the quality of velcro they used. Both velcro stripes on both chairs are 2 inches away from each other. They should make it a 5x5 inch velcro to accommodate any weight. I believe the only thing supporting the back of the chair is the head rail going around. I think the slacked at this design from the old one. They are suppose to improve not lack in the newer models. oh, and they should allow us the upload pictures in the reviews..

I have had three of these! One for each of my children. Best investment yet, and the music is even soothing for my husband and I when we hear it through the monitors. When our daughters became older then loved pushing the parrot so it would turn on the soother. I would buy another one when we have our fourth child!

I purchased this item 5 1/2 years ago when my grandson was born. I knew I would be doing a lot of baby sitting and wanted something safe and entertaining for the little one. He loved it and when his sister came along she loved it. She insisted on crawling up into it and napping until she was age 3. I am passing the rocker on to a good friend of mine who is a new grandma. I have given several of these as gifts to new parents and everyone says it is the most versatile and wonderful gift.

This product was bought in 2006 now in 2011, I am using it with a child. I do like that you can change the settings on it such as the volume, the light on and off, and the motion on and off, as well as nature or lullaby songs. However if you choose to have the Motion, Light, and music on it sucks down the D batteries like no tomorrow. I have found though that with the 3rd baby to use this product (but my 4th child) That I used it more as background noise so didn't have the motion, or lights on, because of this the batteries have lasted MUCH LONGER. For example with everything on the batteries lasted on adverage 2 months - 2 1/2 Months. Only the Music in the last 16 months I have changed the batteries twice. I have always used a HIGH quality battery.

This is a very sweet crib toy, but I wish it had a little more for my baby to play with. It has just a few small buttons and songs, but I would like if it had a toy that my baby could spin or something similar just as an added way for her to play when she wakes up.

We bought this chair for our first baby for something for him to sit and play in, and also because it is easy to cart around with you when you need to go out. We used it right away when our second baby came along and even put it in our pack n play to keep him out of my toddlers reach. When our second baby got sick (bronchiolitis) at just a week old he needed to sleep on an incline for a few months (doctors orders) and he actually recommended this seat as it works perfect for a bassinet that has the slight incline for a newborn. Now at 6 months our baby still loves to play in it! I love how versatile it is! Worth every penny!

We used it in my daughter's crib, now in my son's. It does what it's supposed to. I don't know what this loud noise is the other person talked about. Mine doesn't do that. Great Product!

I had one for my son 8 yrs ago and knew exactly what I would be getting for my daughter. This seat is for EVERYTHING! When she was a newborn I leaned it back and used it for a bassinet and now all my friends babies are out growing the bouncy and this seat is transitioning with my daughter, she still sits with plenty of room and we feed her often in this chair and all food wipes right off with a baby wipe. I love this chair and it is the only bouncy I'd ever have or suggest. My son continued to use this seat throughout toddlerhood.

i bought this for my two month old son and he loved it! it's very comfortable. unlike some other fisher price products, when i lay my son down in this, his head is down and not tilted up. sometimes bouncers that tilt his head up would make him crouchy when he wakes up, but not this one. it's also a great convinence when traveling, he can sleep in this comfortably. this can also hold toddlers, which is pretty neat since other bouncers reach a certain age.

I bought this for my 2 month old son and he loved it!he would cry if i put him in the bouncers with unstable legs so my husband had to return it. We didnt had to return this one. The features are attractive and we've gotten many compliments on it. we're going to keep it around for our next child. Thanks fisher price!!!

I bought this chair/seat for my daughter when she was just a few months old. It is sturdy, comfortable and really cute! When she was very small, I did have to use a seat insert to keep her from leaning over to the side. The toy bar was pretty, and she did enjoy playing with the hanging toys. She is now 17 mos. old and still loves this chair. She gets into and out of it herself, and loves to sit in it like a "big girl" and rock or look at a book. I really like that the safety belt tucks into the seat pad and is easily accessible should it be needed. The toy bar we took off and stored in her closet for future use. It does take up more than a little floor space, but the wider footprint makes it sturdy and stable enough to be safe for an infant and a toddler. It is also very reasonably priced, especially taking in to account how long a child can use it. All things considered, I love this chair and would recommend it highly. If we have another baby, I think we would have to buy a second one, as I don't think my daughter will be willing to share.

It's a good seat, but not big enough for a toddler to fit into with out their head hitting the bar at the top. (That doesn't stop my 2 year old though!) The only issue I have is washing it. I took the seat part off, but there's still a board in the back part that doesn't come out. I'm wondering if you can actually put that into the washing machine. Good quality seat overall.

I purchased a chair just like this 12 years ago for my daughter. Then purchased another one 9 years ago for my son. This item is great. I still have both chairs for my children to use for their children. They both still look great to. My children used this chair until they where to big to sit in it. I am now going to purchase this chair for a friends baby shower.

My daughter loved this rocker from the moment we put her in it! She had colic and the vibrations calmed her down and shortened her crying spells and this was when she was only 3 weeks old! She is now almost 3 months and still loves it only now we put the activity bar on it and she loves it! It was a life saver when I was walking around with a crying baby for hours on end, it was a safe place to set her in it.

We've had this seat since my daughter was born. I loved it as a seat when she was little (although it doesn't really have anything to support their heads) and she loves it as a seat now that she is a big girl. I would definitely recommend this product.
