Not happy
April 8, 2012
We bought this for our son for Easter. The bubbles don't work, and just make a mess all over the floor. This is the 2nd time we've purchased a Fisher Price item that didn't do what it was supposed to. I don't foresee making any more Fisher Price purchases in my future.

Worst toy ever
April 2, 2012
We purchased this mower for our daughter for Easter. Big mistake! It was the last pink one in stock and she loves bubble so we thought she would have fun with it. Wrong! Bubbles never came out of her mower! We tried everything the directions said. My husband even went out that night and bought some more bubbles to refill the bubble container because the ones it came with leaked all over the floor! We got those home, put it in it and still NO bubbles. Just another mess on the floor. We took it outside and even with one of us trying to use it, it only produced one bubble. Hard to explain to a 2 year old why her new toy doesn't work. I will research better from now on before getting her toys.

Works OK, Hard to Find Replacement BubbleContainer
March 3, 2012
My son enjoys playing with this toy. We haven't gotten to play with it outside yet but he likes the "lawnmower" noise. The problem is that the bubble container is now missing and I can't seem to find one that fits. Is it possible to order a new bubble container? I know that these mowers are still sold in stores; I just saw one today!

It will make your 2 year old mad!
October 23, 2011
I bought this for my sons second birthday, he LOVES bubbles! The only time bubbles came out was when the older kids were playing and they were 8 and 9 not the age for this toy. I thought I bought a bad one so I took it back and got a new one and then took that one back also and got another one that didnt work right either! I had to hide it from my son, he was so upset that no "bub bles" were coming out! Hard to explain to a 2 year old that it just a piece of junk and nothing mommy or daddy do can get it to work! Bad job fisher price!

Great Purchase at a Great Price
July 21, 2011
I started out with buying a Mater Fisher-Price bubble mower and was disappointed. The mower wouldn't put out bubbles consistently and after a short time became hard to push for my 2 yr. old grandson. I ended up taking it back and buying the regular red Fisher-Price lawn mower for my grandson. I was disappointed in the bubble mixture that came with it because it didn't make very many bubbles. We tried the brand Gazillion bubbles and the mower works awesome with this mixture.Wow! What a difference! If you have any of the Fisher-Price mowers, use this mixture with it. It is more expensive, but is totally worth it. My grandson loves this mower so much that he pushes it everywhere even uptown to the library! I think sending a bottle of Gazillion bubbles with the lawn mowers instead of what is packaged with them now would increase the satisfaction of the customers. This is a great toy!

My son loved it at first ...
July 15, 2011
My son loved it at first because he enjoys bubles and following us when we mow the lawn. The bubbles hardly worked but used up all the liquid, and we lost the bubble container. No other container seems to fit. Its now just sitting in the way.

We were disappointed in the quality & "fun" results of this mower! The bubbles didn't come out well at all & was hard to push to get the bubbles to come out. Very disappointed!

Bubble Mower
May 10, 2011
I purchased this mower for my 2 year old grandson for a birthday gift as he loves to help mommy and daddy in the yard. The bubble mower is a wonderful and very sturdy toy and keeps his attention for a long time; however, it should not be called a 'bubble' mower as the bubbler has never worked. I did not exchange it as reviews gave me the same news, but I took my chances; however, my grandson enjoys this immensely and wants to use it in the house, so we still have it. Please try and fix this problem.

NO BUBBLES
May 10, 2011
The toy goes through the bubble solution but 99 % of the time bubbles do not come out. NO BUBBLES !! I could have just gotten a regular lawn mower. I did everything suggested in the manual and the toy is still a bust. I really wish I had saved my money for the ATV for my son to drive around instead.

Extremely Disappointed
May 8, 2011
I remember having a bubble mower when I was a kid and I loved it. I decided to buy DD one after she became obsessed with bubbles about a month ago. Usually, Fisher Price has very high quality products that can withstand a lot of punishment. The mower does seem to be built to handle a lot of punishment, however if does not blow bubbles. The first one we bought only blew bubbles when DH ran across the yard with it. We brought that one back thinking it had been damaged somehow during shipping. The second mower does not work either. It does not get enough air pressure to actually blow the bubbles. DD still likes to push it around the yard, but we are extremely disappointed that it does not do what it is meant to do.

May 4, 2011
I absolutely LOVE Fisher Price with their quality and durability in their products for kids. I usually only buy name brand toys so that they are safe and last for kids. After seeing the mower advertised I decided to purchase several for my daycare and one for each grandchild.Well were we DISAPPOINTED!! I am shocked at the performace of the mower. The bubbles spill out easily when the kids mow, they foam a lot and won't blow and actually only blew 4 or 5 bubbles in the hour or so we tried to get it to work. We even tried several bubble brands to get it going and still no bubbles. Just a lot of foam on the ground and several sad children who were so excited to make bubbles in the yard. Im sorry fisher price but this product was a waste of time and money. :( Its great just as a MOWER to hear the sound, but it really should not be called a BUBBLE mower.

Bubble lawn mower did not work and blow more than a few bubbles every few minutes. Didn't matter if you went slow or fast, didn't matter the weather or if it was filled or not, just didn't blow bubbles as promised! A very disappointing Easter present for our granddaughter. Would not recomend to anyone.

Not a good toy for the price
April 5, 2011
I read the information about it needing to be humid to make bubbles. Well, I live in Orlando and it still doesn't make bubbles. It says you have to walk 15-20 steps for it to start. I walked for 30-40 steps and the bubbles wouldn't come out. It makes a cool noise, like a motor sound when you walk. But, for almost $20?? It is not worth it.

Son Very Disappointed
March 27, 2011
We had our son's 2nd birthday party today. He received this mower from his Nana. My son loves bubbles and couldn't wait to get his mower outside and play with it. So when we got done opening all of his presents, he rushed outside to try out his new bubble maker and was very upset when he couldn't get bubble to come out. I'm very upset with this mower because it put him in a horrible mood while we still had a few guests here. I'm taking it back tomorrow and will definatly make sure to read reveiews for any fisher-price toy before buying it.

We only used the bubbles for about 6 months and they worked fine but are completely unnecessary. This has been one of my sons favorite toys for over a year and a half, he is now 3, He loves to mow the carpet at grandmas house (which is why we do not use the bubbles). Now that we are having a second child I am going to buy a second one for our house.

Bubbles Don't Work
August 16, 2010
My sister purchased this as a gift for my 22 month old son. Needless to say I am very disappointed in it. The bubbles rarely, if ever work. Sometimes we can get them to work briefly if we push the mower very quickly. My younger sister had one of these when she was a toddler (early 1990's) and it always worked very well. It was the old design where you pour the bubbles into the tiny resevoire area on the side of the mower. And you'd get tons of bubbles. I'm not impressed by this new system of adding the bubbles. The mower itself is fine but the bubbles are what keeps my toddler's attention and it's never worked well. Very disappointing.

Very fun product
June 16, 2010
My son loves his bubble mower. He follows Dad around the yard when Dad mows, it's so cute! I appreciated the quick easy set up, only 2 things to do and your child is ready to mow. The only negative I have is that I am having a very difficult time finding refills of the bubbles. Can't find them in any store and online says sold out. Other than that, its a very fun toy, holds my child's interest, priced very affordable. The mower is very durable as well.

Great Lawnmower
June 13, 2010
The lawnmower is lots of fun and not too loud. The bubble feature is virtually useless. The bottle of bubble soap lasted less than 5 minutes and most of the bubbles popped in the grass. It might have done better on concrete, but we were out of bubbles by then.

My two love their lawnmowers
May 23, 2010
I one got this back when my son was only 18 months old and the bubbles didn't come out. But he loved the noise and the lawnmower aspect. Now that he is 3 he has no trouble making bubbles come out. I think it just needs to be pushed faster.

Junk
May 20, 2010
This mower is the biggest disappointment I have purchased for my grandson to date. It didn't even make ONE BUBBLE!!! For 20 bucks I would at least expect a bubble since it's called a bubble mower and it even comes with a bottle of bubble stuff. I am extremely disappointed with this and will think twice before ever purchasing a Fisher Price toy in the future.

Great!!!
April 30, 2010
The mower works the same as it did when I had one. The bubbles don't well like they are supposed but that means nothing to my 3 yr. old son. He just loves the idea of having a lawn mower and be able to go out with us and "help".

Kids Love It!
April 26, 2010
My daughter got this for her 1st birthday. She will be 5 in a few months. We still have it. The kids still follow their dad around the lawn while he's mowing. My younger daughter is almost 3 and she loves it too. This toy has withstood weather and tough play and it is still going. I've given this as a birthday present a lot. In fact, I'm shopping today for another party. Yes, the bubbles don't work that great, but the kids don't seem to notice. In fact, we haven't used the bubble part for years and that hasn't stopped the kids from playing with this. For the price, it's still a great buy even without the bubbles. Buy it for the lawnmower features and don't sweat the bubbles.

Where are the bubbles
April 22, 2010
My son got this for Easter and not one bubble has came out of it but that could because as soon as you put the bubbles on it they just spill right out.Son loves it but I'm sure he would like it more if the bubbles came out.

Worst purchase ever
April 19, 2010
Like the previous post said, the bubbles leaked everywhere and hardly any came out when used. We have two other neighbors who bought the mowers and they have the same issue. None of use use the bubbles at all now. Did Fisher Price not do any product testing on the mower?

Fisher Price bubble mower.
April 5, 2010
I bought a fisher price bubble mower for my 3 year old son for Easter. Imagine my disappointment when on Easter morning , we put it together (according to the directions), My son was bouncing with excitement. I was so disappointed to notice that the bubbles just drip right out the bottom of the mower. My son did get a few bubbles to show up by running like crazy pushing this lawn mower and tripping all over himself trying to get more bubbles to appear. Very disappointed in this product. I have 5 children and my 3 year old is my youngest. For many years I have been a satisfied customer. Not this time.
