I love ours! I love how safe it is. I never ever have to worry about the safety of my little man! I love that the material is so soft yet so easy to clean when needed! The color is awesome and its actually very light compared to many others we've seen!

I love the colors on the carseat and how much support it has.I also love the sensors it has to make sure your child is secure and also lets you know if child has been in there for too long.

Overall this is a great infant car seat. My favorite feature is how easy it is to adjust the height of the shoulder straps as the baby grows. It's just a super simple squeeze and lift! Way easier than my old car seat that I used with my other babies.

After using 2 different brands with my first two kids I thought why not try a third brand with my third baby! The first thing I noticed right away was how light the car seat was!! This is a huge plus since I have a chunky little man! I also found that the thin frame of car seat base was super helpful for putting 3 car seats in back row! The extra security features are also a major bonus! The only thing I was disappointed about was the fact that I could not find a car seat adapter to fit this car seat for my jogging stroller. But overall I highly recommend this car seat!

This is our fourth baby so we have had a few car seats in our house. This seat has so many great features. It is very well padded and the base goes into the car with ease and does not budge. I love that the straps can be held to the side when putting baby in. And let's not forget the Sensor Technology it really puts our mind at ease that baby is still moving and breathing on long car rides.

While we're still waiting on baby's arrival and haven't had an opportunity to test this out yet, we are very happy with quality of the seat. The design looks comfortable and it is fairly intuitive. It is also relatively lightweight, which I'm pleased with. For all its various safety features (including the sensorsafe), I feel confident and reassured about using this seat to protect our most precious cargo! Two small things. For some reason, this car seat in moonstone didn't quite match (color/design) the moonstone car seat that came with our Evenflo Gold Pivot Xpand travel system (we're expecting twins, thus the two car seats). It's not a big deal, but I'm not sure why they wouldn't match. Also, the car seat was delivered without the load leg -- but we'll follow up with Evenflo customer service soon, which I'm sure will resolve that small issue. Overall, very pleased with this seat and happy with how easily it can be used with our stroller!

Pros: comfy and super padded for safety. I really like how everything has its own place and compartment. Looks very sleek. Easy to buckle baby in. How it shows you how to angle the seat for the baby's different age. Cons: base is huge, wont fit in normal size car comfortably. Car seat itself and heavier than most. Arm on base that goes to the floor won't click in place. I found it extremely hard sometimes to unbuckle chest clip.

The car seat and the base are high quality and easy to get the baby in and out-nice seat belt adjustment. The base was a little hard to install and the support leg of the base broke while installing it. Needed more instructions on how to get that support leg where it needed to be. Nice that the car seat can easily fit into the stroller and other bases for grandparents and so forth

I wanted to wait a little while after getting this car seat before I wrote a review and now that I've been using it about a month I feel like I can confidently recommend this car seat. Things that I like about this car are: - It is very light weight, it's significantly lighter than another car seat that we also have (from a brand that starts with a C and ends in an O) and that helps save your back and arms when you have to lug baby around without a stroller. - The fabric for the seat is very soft, smooth, gentle on baby's skin and doesn't seem to pick up much lint or dirt. Other car seats have scratchy rough fabric that seem to catch every speck of lint and dog hair possible. - The sensorsafe technology to alert you to various possible issues to protect baby is very cool and helpful, I don't think anyone else has this tech and it helps with peace of mind. The chest clip lights up blue to let you know it's activated. Took a bit of figuring out to use it but that's because we had just bought a new car so I didn't know where to plug the receiver in. - Car seat overall just feels sturdy and well put together. - The support leg makes the seat very stable -Very sleek and modern looking, not grumpy or ugly. - The adjustable hood/sunshield works very smoothly & doesn't get stuck! I love this because on our other brand name car seat the hood gets stuck and will wake baby when you do get it to move again. This one is very smooth & quiet! Things I don't like: - Release handle to detach seat from base is a little picky, you have to press it then pull up. If you pull up while pressing release button it won't let go. - Base and seat are both fairly long so if you are a taller driver you may not be able to put your seat back far. We aren't giants, I'm 5'5" and husband is 5'7" and we have about 2-3 spare inches behind the driver seat in our 2019 VW Jetta. In our 2014 Chevy Sonic the cart seat touches the driver seat back and in our 2016 Toyota Tundra double cab there's probably an inch of space. I suspect the design is longer because of the support leg. - This is kind of a nitpicky thing but I don't like that the seatbelt buckles slide down the straps so easy because once baby is in the seat I'm often having to dig the buckles out from under her butt and it's a little annoying. PRO TIP- This carseat works PERFECT with the Urbini Reversi stroller using the included adapters the stroller comes with. I bought the stroller to use on its own but on a hunch thought maybe the car seat would work with it and it does!

I am genuinely very impressed with this infant car seat. We recently brought home our second son and was finally able to put our new car seat to use. I was pleasantly surprised at how light weight this carrier is and how easy it was to install in the car. As newborn, my son is fitting nice and secure in his new seat. The sensor safe chest clip is an added bonus for peace of mind. I am at ease knowing that my son is safe and secure in his car seat. The overall look of the seat is also impressive. I have received multiple comments about what a nice looking seat it is. I prefer this carrier over a more expensive one I had with my first born. I would most definitely recommend this product!

My wife and I love this car seat. We got this car seat right before my wife went into labor with out second son. I read through the instruction manual that night and was able to quickly install the car seat. My favorite aspect about the car seat is how easy it is to safely install it. The car seat base easily latches into the anchor connectors in our Dodge Caravan. The car seat base has a latching handle that closes over the anchor connector belt. This makes it significantly easier to properly tighten the car seat base to the seat. I have no problem latching the car seat base in and making certain it does not move side-to-side. There is an easy to read built level on the car seat base that lets you know if the car seat base is safely installed. The car seat itself is narrower than most other car seat models I have seen. I believe this is likely a safety feature that helps protect the baby from being shaken around during a car accident. The car seat sets down and lifts up from the base with ease. The car seat itself is a sleek black color that is very fashionable in my opinion. I strongly recommend this car seat to any parent looking for a safe and functional option for their little one.

Overall impression - This is easily the best infant car seat I've used. For a long time after I found out I was expecting, I drooled over a fancy infant car seat that was far outside of our budget. I loved it's sleek appearance, light weight, load leg (I'm a massive car seat geek and that kind of thing excites me), the ease of install, and others. Sadly, that seat was not an option for us, but I'm so glad I didn't spend the money on it. Here comes Evenflo, changing their image and blowing my expectations out of the water. The Evenflo Gold SensorSafe SecureMax is everything I wanted in the other brand's seat, plus more, and is actually affordable! In my opinion, the look of Evenflo's seats has changed dramatically for the better. It's definitely sleek and easy to carry. There are multiple points on the base that help you to know when it's perfectly installed, making the chances of an installation mistake much less. With very little effort I was able to securely install the base in my minivan. I love the no re-thread harness - I don't have to undo the straps to re-route them through the back of the seat to change their height. And more importantly in a Wisconsin winter, there are no holes in the back to let in bitter cold air and chill my baby. The headrest supports my baby's head well - she never has issues with head slump - and at the same time it does not restrict her face. The padding is very plush and durable, and the harness covers are so soft I wish I had some for my own seat belt. She does not feel constrained in her seat and often falls asleep in it. The canopy is generous and still allows room for the carry handle to go over my arm. Sadly I haven't been using it as I've had a winter cover on the infant seat. The seat clicks easily into the base and there's no question that I've got it installed correctly. The seat pad is easy to remove and washes beautifully. I also really love the idea of the SensorSafe on the car seat. No one ever believes that they would leave their child in the car on accident, but it's worth it to have backup because we all have days when we're not our usual selves. Unfortunately my van is too old to connect with the SensorSafe, but I use it when traveling with my parents or in-laws. I especially appreciate that it lets me know when it's activated by flashing when I clip my baby's chest clip. I've included several pictures of the seat when I unboxed it and installed it. I truly love this seat, and so does my daughter.

I have been installing car seats since 1998 when my first nephew was born. I now have a 5 year old and a 1 month old of my own and I can say, this is the most secure infant seat I have ever put in. I installed it in a sedan with bucket seats and there was no movement in the base at all once installed! The load leg really makes it feel solid. The electronic features that confirm the baby is buckled in and not too hot are great features to help ease your mind with a new baby in the back seat where you can't tell for yourself. As for the comfort of the baby, it is top of the line! I was using my previous seat for the first few weeks because I had installed it before I got this one and I wasn't able to install a new seat right away after c section. With the old seat the baby screamed every trip. The first time I put her in the SecureMax I could tell she was more comfortable. It almost hugs her and her legs rest much more comfortably than they do in the other seat. She never made a peep and even fell asleep! I really do love this seat because it's easy to tell you installed it correctly, the added features let you know they are safe, and my baby is so comfy. I would definitely recommend it!

Overall, a very nice car seat. Extremely easy to install, level, and adjust straps for baby. I loved how I can move the headrest (and straps) up and down with just a button and pull/push. I loved the stabilization foot! Great idea and seems to give more safety. It does have a lot of restrictions as to where or how it can be used, and we could not due to a raised floor in the center of the backseat where we put the carry carseat. But it looks like other positions could utilize it and I feel it really adds a good safety feature. Installation was quick and nearly painless using the lower Latch system. Tightening was heavenly compared to many other carseats. So easy. And getting it level was also very easy. I could actually see this carseat base being a realistic one to move between multiple vehicles without a bunch of hassle. I'm taking a star off for the Smart Sensor. It was buggy for us and you have to have a 2008 or newer car to utilize it. Our car is a 2007, so we borrowed a friend's for the day to test that feature. The sensor app can only be active on one phone at a time. So if both parents plan on using it or taking this carseat with them, they'll have to muck about with turning it off on one phone before connecting the other. If only one wants access it might not be so bad. The app also has a nifty feature to add an emergency contact number and all the urgent notices will be sent to that number as well as the connected phone. So you could almost get by with just having the primary driver having the app and just chance it with the other parent, I guess. The sensor warns you if the buckle is unclipped while driving, the temperature, and if the baby is left in the car. You have to drive the car for it to start connecting, so we drove it around the block once, without baby, to get out setup. That was fine. The warning we had issues with was the baby left in the car. So the first buggy part of this feature happened right away. We got the base installed and got prepared to borrow the car for a day. We put our youngest in the carseat and clicked it into the base. We had the car on because it was cold. During the time it took to get youngest clicked in and then try to get the eldest child into his seat and everything ready to go, we were already getting "baby left in car" warnings. My phone, which was connected at the time, was sitting on the center console of the car, not two feet from the baby. It wasn't like I'd walked far away from the running car with baby in the seat, which would seem more likely that I'd "left" than that we were sitting in a warming car in the driveway, not moving. It doesn't seem to sense phone proximity to car seat, only that the car seat is in a running vehicle that isn't moving. When I didn't acknowledge and "save" the baby fast enough, it sent the warning to my hubby's phone, which was the emergency contact. Fine, we acknowledged, got on the road, and all was good... Until later that day. Hubby had to go to work later and took the car. Baby, car seat, and I were at home. Carseat was unbuckled and baby was not in it. Hubby's phone was the last connected to the app. Sometime, I'm assuming shortly, after hubby left the car to go into work, the app started screaming at him that the baby was still in the car. Hubby does not have access to his phone at work, so the notification went unacknowledged. As my number was the emergency contact, I started getting notifications that baby was left in the car, and that the car was at his work place. And since hubby could not acknowledge the notifications from his end, I got those messages all day long. I ended up silencing the app. We uninstalled it as soon as we gave our friend's car back. The idea is great, but the execution is poor. Perhaps if we had longer than a day we might have been able to get it sorted out, but as it was, I don't feel that feature is as good as it could be. The app is not even Evenflo's. It's a third party who does Sensor Safe for a lot of different manufacturers. If Evenflo could take this in-house and give it the quality their other products have, I think it might be great. But as it is, I do not recommend this seat for that function. I do, however, recommend it for the safety foot, ease of installation and transfer, and how seriously nice it is to carry this carseat. Super ergonomic. It's a nice carseat, just don't get it for the Sensor Safe.

My wife and I love this car seat. This is the third infant car seat we have tried and it is by far my favorite. My wife and I got this car seat the night before she was planning to be induced with our second child. As I'm sure many parents are, I was flooded with emotion and concern about the safety of my child. I thoroughly read the car seat manual to make sure I fully understood the safety features and best practices. Installation of a car seat base has never been easier. The anchor locks have an easy latching system that makes it easy to transfer the seat between cars. Our 2-year old's car seat still has the metal anchor clips that are a bit of a pain to take on and off. There is a handle in the center of the base that presses down on the belt and secures it in place. This makes it much easier to cinch down the base as recommended in the instruction manual. The base also has a level showing the optimal positioning of the car seat. When we lived in Wyoming the fire station scheduled appointments for people to come in and make sure their car seats were properly installed. With that car seat they cut a piece of foam to help level out the car seat. No need in this case. If you are at all concerned about making sure everything is properly installed I wouldn't hesitate to consider looking into whether your local fire station has a similar program. The car seat belts were already in the perfect place and did not require any difficult adjustment. Although, reading through the manual it did not seem like adjusting the seat belts would be that difficult. This infant car seat has a narrow frame than most other car seats I have seen. I am not positive as to why but I believe it may be an added safety feature. It seems like it would add extra protection in an accident. The car seat sets down and clicks into the base easily. Lifting the carrier from the base is no problem as well. I was especially impressed with the head & neck support. There is a latch on the head support to easily slide up and down to adjust to the side of the baby. Our last car seat had a strapped on foam neck rest that was not nearly as functional. The car seat belt also has covers to protect the belt from rubbing against our little guys neck. These covers have Velcro making it easy to remove and clean if necessary. The car seat does not come with the fleece liner shown in my attached pictures. We purchased that from Eddie Bauer to keep our little guy snug in the cold Alaskan winter. I was especially interested by the safezone load leg feature of the car seat. However, our '05 Dodge Caravan has the seat storage system the load leg is not compatible with. Therefore, I haven't got to test it out yet. In my opinion this car seat is very stylish. The narrower frame makes it easy to carry at your side. The car seat is a vibrant black. All around a very nice look. Our little guy has slept peacefully on several long (2-3 hour) car drives we have taken to visit the grandparents. We have had this car seat for over a month now and I feel very comfortable with highly recommending this car seat to protect your little one.

Pros First, this carseat looks extremely comfortable. My daughter looked really comfy in this carseat. More importantly though, the carseat looked sturdy and safe. It was relatively simple to install and took very little time. I was intrigued by the SensorSafe technology. It is a really nice feature to know that your child is safely secured in the event of an accident. Cons The strap system for adjusting to a growing baby in this car seat is overly complicated. It took longer to figure out how to adjust them than it did to install the carseat. However, this is just something that will just take time to adjust to. Overall I really like this carseat and think it is a wonderful way to keep your baby safe and give you peace of mind.

This seat was easy to install! I love that it has a higher weight than many seats and also the sensor as our little one has learned it clip and is working on undoing the chest clip as well. The seat itself is light weight. The base with the load leg however is heavier than most bases.

This seat keeps my premie snug and secure. It was easy to adjust for the right fit. I love the peace of mind the safety sensor offers. It's definitely a plus the seat is stlyish dark colored material and does not show wear.

Love this car seat! Advanced safety features like the sensor safe and load leg make this the safest car seat I have ever had. I have not seen these features on any other seat available. The sensor safe was easy to install and use. The load leg was easy to use and makes the seat feel like it won't budge in a crash. My little one fits in the harness snugly and was so comfortable, she fell asleep after just two blocks of driving. Not as heavy as other infant car seats we have used in the past so it is much easier to transfer in and out of the car. The colors go well with the interior of my vehicle as well. Would highly recommend.

I love the look of this baby car seat. The smart sensor safe is a blessing. It alerts you if the seat is in the wrong position or if the straps are too tight or not on correctly. It fits your little one up to 35 pounds. It comes with a safe leg zone which is a blessing as it doesn't get the little ones feet caught between the drivers seat and their foot area. The base was very easy to install. It anchors easily to your car anchors and if you have an older vehicle you can always use the seatbelt to fasten it in place. The buckles are easy to close and open and the belt is easy to adjust according to your baby's size. This is definitely worth the money and is comparable to other high end products.

I love the design in this car seat. It looks fancy and very modern but the best part is the sensor safe technology. This feature gives great peace of mind to any parent. Driving and being on the road can be scary and at least you know your bundle of joy is protected safe and well buckled in.

The look and features of this car seat are nothing less than luxurious. There isn't one part of the seat that isn't covered in a memory-foam like padding, even the snap between the legs has it's own padded area. It includes an attached head support and provides a body support pad under the bottom/body part of the child for added comfort. The head support is NOT removable from what we can tell. One of the greatest features is the strap adjustments. With other car seats, we have had to remove the seat, then weave the straps in and out of slots to get the correct fit. This car seat has built-in strap adjustments that you don't even have to remove the seat for. With just a simple slide (on the front, above the head support) it adjusts the shoulder straps up and down to fit your kiddo. SO EASY! This car seat is also 2 inches slimmer than our current car seat. With a small SUV and 2 car seats, those 2 inches make a difference. It's nice to see technology being incorporated into the car seat industry. The seat connects to an app through blue tooth and alerts you any time the car seat lock is opened or closed. It also tells you the temperature of the car seat. We live in a coastal community with lots of heat of humidity; it is nice to know the temperature of our child, especially if you do not have rear A/C or heat availability. When the sensor detects the seat in the back, it sends a signal and reminder on your phone to check for the car seat. So far, those are the only functions we've seen on the app. I would like to see them add more features other than reminders and temperature information. Even if you didn't want to use the app and added technology, this seat is a great option (you don't HAVE to use the app). The make of the seat and added safety features that are built-in (load leg) makes this a great consideration.

When I took the car seat and base out of the box I new it was a high quality product. The feel and look of the seat was sleek, yet comfortable. It looks thinner than my older model and actually fit better into the car... which is great when you have more than one child. I am used to the LATCH system being a bear to hook in or unlatch but instead of the old snap-in style, this is more of a buckle, with a release button. Huge improvement. The load leg seemed a bit silly at first but after watching a safety video, I am glad we have it. Hopefully we never have to see it in use. The only thing I wish Evenflo would change is the carrying handle. The button to move it is in the front of the bar. If you have smaller hands (as most women do), it's awkward. You have to kind of push and pull it at the same time. It was not difficult for my husband, but was for me and my 10 year old. Usually those buttons are in the back of the bar. As far as the sensor system that hooks into the car, it was a breeze to install and works great. We have a quiet baby and I have always worried about forgetting her. I have even left my purse in the backseat to make sure I don't! The sensor gives me so much peace of mind. Thank you EVENFLO!

This new car seat is amazing! Not only does it look very stylish, but it has amazing safety features, which is the most important part for a car seat. The "SensorSafe" sensor that connects to your car gives us extra piece of mind and the stabilizing lef for the car seat base adds extra security. Having the option to use the anchor system to attach the base vs only a seat belt is great! Our son has been extremely comfortable and secure in this car seat and we are very happy to put him in it and ride all over town.

I love how easy it is to install into the car and the legs helps so much with making sure it's leveled and the sensor is amazing let's you know with the clips aren't buckled correctly and when you shut your car off it makes a noise to remind you that the car seat is connected to the base. I am currently 5 months pregnant however my daughter is 1.5 years old so we installed the car seat and she is currently using it. The material is very comfortable and appears to be very durable. My daughter has room to grow and looks very comfortable. My daughter has already split chocolate milk on it & my husband said it was easy to wipe down & clean. I enjoyed how easy it was to install along with the load leg that makes this car seat so easy to load and install. The sensor was easy to Install and the app was easy to download and I'm excited to see the technology continue to grow with the safety of our future children in mind. I love that the car seat itself is easy to carry and doesnt hurt my arm and it is very lightweight so it's not a pain to carry into the store or house. The features that this infant seat come equipped with are hands down the best on the market without the hefty price tag. The time an infant spends in this size seat may be limited but the safety that it offers is most definitely not. From the extra padding,headrest that secure the baby, to the sensor safe light and sounds, I couldn't ask for anything more to keep my daughter safe. I love love love this car seat and can not wait to see what else will come out in the Evenflo GOLD brand!

Lightweight compared to other brands, lots of cushion to keep the little one comfortable, super easy to install. The new features(like Load Leg and Sensor Safe) bring more reassuring about the safety of my little one.

I really loved this seat, easy to install, not to mention so pretty! Only downside is the top part of the buckle is a little hard to snap.. I imagine it will get easier with time though.

Over all Impression: My over all impression of this car seat is that it is so awesome, it is not super heavy like some others that I have used before, so when caring my 17lb daughter in it, while yes she is heavy its not big bulky seat to lug around with her. I was very impressed from the moment I pulled it from the box with this seat. The base: The base was a breeze to install the foot on the back while I was like what is this is supper European and will help to give support to the over hang that the base will have of most seats. The photos will show it installed in my 2016 Van as this is my primary car but I have placed the base in to my husbands 2015 civic and 2011 Chevy Crew Cab and it fit well in both those car as well. I am really weird when I put my kids car seats in I know that the rule is no more that 1" of movement from front to back or side to side but I try to have no movement at all and the arm that helps make the latch system tight and or seat belt is an added benefit the seat did not budge at all. The Sensor Safe: The sensor safe, as I am sure there are a few that think it is "dumb" that they would not ever leave their child in the car. I think that it is amazing and so innovative and amazing, it chimes to let you know the car seat is in the car, and when the chest clip is not hocked in all the way. (I have a child that at 10 months old would un do his and get out and the sensor safe on evenflo was the only thing to let us know he was doing it before we'd arrive.) it also will send and alert to your phone though an app!!! Um this is amazing! If sensor safe helps one family from the devastation of leaving their child in the car then in my humble momma opinion its done its job and done it well. Chest clip: is a tighter buckle and un buckle than any seat I have tried also, again this could be that its brand new or that they have made it a bit sifter, either way I am loving that because again I have a child that not much older than my baby figured his out, and was climbing out of his seat. Ease of Use: This seat was so easy to install and place and take off that base, the head rest moves up to change the strap height, yes you read that right, no more fussing with re threading as the baby grows. This seat is supper easy on all its adjustments for tightening the straps to moving them up to installing it in the cars. Comfort: this seat has a soft cover, the canopy moves easy up and down, my child loved getting in to the seat, the head support was amazing in the sure fact that it stays in the seat all the time. Looks: this car seat not only looks sleek, it doesn't look cheaply made either, it is super nice. Value: The price point is not to shabby either, it's a reasonable price that most all families can afford. Peace of Mind: I know that I'll have peace of mind when my little one uses the car seat and already know that the stroller has given me peace of mind! The large canopy is so amazing! This car seat is beyond amazing; I love all the features it has to offer! The sensor is amazing and loud enough you will definitely remember that there is a child (though it's one of those things everyone has an opinion on)! I Love the softness of the seat!
