Great stroller system

I received the GOLD Pivot Xpand Modular Stroller featuring TileĀ® Bluetooth Finder Technology from the Stellar test panel. I will say it is a really nice stroller with quality fabrics. The carseat that comes with the stroller comes with SensorSafe technology which works to prevent accidentally leaving your child in the car, overheating, and notifies you if the chest clip comes undone or is unbuckled. The sensor was very easy to setup. You just plug the adapter into the OBD port below the steering wheel of your car and download the app and you get alerts right on your phone. The carseat also comes with the infant insert and the straps were very easy to adjust with no rethread design. The only minor downside is that the install for the base is belt lock off style vs a latch install. Very minor though as the install was still very straightforward. Having the SensorSafe clip makes it a great carseat in my opinion.
The carseat clicks right onto the stroller which made it convenient when the baby fell asleep in the car. The stroller seat is also very nicely made. The seat fabric seems to be very durable and semi- water repellent. It is not a compact stroller, but folds and unfolds very nicely. The frame of the stroller is very sturdy and nicely built. The handle bar is adjustable so that is helpful for parents that have a height difference. The stroller seat can lay all the way flat for when they are an infant. Once they are old enough to sit up, the seat has 3 recline options and can be faced forward or backwards. It can be used in conjunction with the carseat as well if you have more than one child. If you have two toddlers, you can purchase an additional stroller seat to click into the stroller. The downsides I saw in this stroller was that there is a minor sway to the stroller if you are changing directions quick and the cushion grip for the handlebar. The sway really isn't a big deal either as I was only doing the quick change in direction to make my kid laugh. Even though it swayed, the frame of the stroller still felt very sturdy and stable. The handlebar is just a foam layer for cushion and I just don't know how durable that will be long-term. Overall, I was very pleased with the stroller system and thought that it would be a great stroller that would last.
The Tile component of the stroller seems like a good idea, but I don't know how useful it is. It would be useful to find keys or your phone around the house, but the problem is once bluetooth reception is lost, it can only tell you the last known location. I had thought it would be nice as I've always been uneasy leaving a stroller outside of small stores or theme parks, but with the limitations of Bluetooth connection, someone could still walk-off with the stroller and once they're out of range, the Tile app isn't going to be able to help. While it estimates the range is about 400ft, I think the Tile is better for tracking objects in a situation where you set something down around the house and can't find it. I just find it hard to imagine a scenario where you lost a stroller without it having been stolen, and if it was stolen, you would only be able to know the last location before the Bluetooth lost reception. It is very nice for around the house though, as you can double click the Tile to make your phone sound if you've misplaced your phone.
