I was surprised when this seat was delivered because it was in its retail box. My son who usually hates his car seat immediately wanted to sit in this seat. He really likes the cup holders. I really liked how easy it was to adjust and get the right strap/headrest height for my little one. The seat looks so comfy and is very well cushioned. But I also like that some of the cushions can be removed because the summers here can be really hot. I appreciate it being able to be cleaned, which as a parent who has experienced a child vomiting in a car seat a time or 2 - being able to launder the cover is important. I was a little annoyed with the straps because they kept getting twisted, but I like the little strap covers and my son likes that the straps are not as stiff. At first, I found the chest clip difficult to open, but I've gotten the hang of it now. And I think ideally the crotch buckle should be a little longer. But other than those 2 small issues, this looks to be a beautiful seat that should last my little guy until he's a big kid. Let me begin by saying I've owned many car seats over my 11 years of parenting 4 children. I'm pleased to see Evenflo has kept up with the trends! This car seat is a 4-in-1 seat that accommodates new born babies all the way up until their booster years! It's very affordable for the life expectancy of the car seat and the quality. Below I'll be sharing a few of my thoughts and feelings with pro's and con's. First, I love that it has been safety tested for not only side impact collision but also it shows on the seat in small print it's been rollover tested! Now that's not something I've ever seen on a seat. I love them adding that to the seat, it's nice to see that extra reassurance each time you put your little love in. Secondly, you'll immediately notice the generous size width on the bottom seat portion, I can't stress how important that comfort will be to children as they grow and spread a bit. The cushions are very plush and comfortable. I really like the layout of the car seat. Cup holders are at a great location for young toddlers to use independently and deep enough that things can't be tipped over or kicked over (hello tantrums!). The head wings are close to the head but not like some out on the market that appear to be too close and cause unnecessary heat and block their view. I'm currently using this with my petite 27lb 3.5 year old and we are loving those features above. The seat is as I said wide which makes it great for growth and comfort but also the seat sits back enough to create a comfortable support for the legs and knees. That extra length is great as they get bigger and into the booster stages. Think: too short of seat length and long legs hanging over with no support, not comfortable! The car seat also offers 12 different thread less, one handed, head support adjustments. Which makes it be able to really accommodate to so many different heights of children to really get that perfect, snug, safe fit. The tightening and loosening mechanics are great and slide easily. I like the design of how everything clips in, easy and feels secure. Now let me say a few things that I didn't love as much... It was a little challenging to install with the secure tightener (its a red holder in the back of the car seat). I see the purpose for it and I definitely feel it's necessary but it takes some fidgeting with in the back seat of my Toyota Sienna. The last thing I didn't love was the car seat base felt a little slippery when tightening my kiddo into the seat. It certainly wasn't unsafe I just noticed it needed to be tightened to the car even more. So throw your body onto the seat while installing! However, I do want to state they have videos online for installation and it wasn't impossible and I like that you'll KNOW when it's installed correctly. Overall, well done Evenflo! We received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel! My husband and I have 8 kids ranging from 1 year old (preemie) to 16! We love this seat for my husband's commuter car. We can adjust it for whoever is riding with him. For example, when we take the baby to a doctor's appointment, we can flip it around, adjust the back, and it fits her perfectly. Then the next day our 6 year old rides with dad to the store. Flip it around, and use the car seatbelts. Then the 4 year old has a birthday party, you do the quick adjust back to fit her height and just like that you are set to go. Straps are easily at the right height, the cushions adjust to hold the littlest to the biggest kid. We love this seat!

I received this car seat from the Stellar Product testing panel. The seat is great and roomy. By far my favorite part is that latch system who ever made these buckles needs to get with all the car seat companies!! They are so easy to hook and unhook! My son loves his big boy seat he sits up higher in the seat which helps him to see out the window. Also the seat is easy to adjust from rear to forward also with just a few clicks it transforms to a booster. This seat is light weight and easy to change from car to car with little hassle. I would definitely recommend this car seat!

I was given this convertible car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love that the seat can be used rear-facing, forward-facing, as a belt positioning booster, or a normal booster and that it will grow with my children. There was a little bit of a struggle switching the seat for my 5 year old to use as a forward-facing seat, as the harness straps got caught in the slightly wrong position when reconnecting to base to the seat. That made the harness extremely difficult to tighten but once I realized the issue the harness worked great. Unfortunately, my car doesn't seem to be compatible with this car seat. The length of the latch hooks/tightening buckle are too long, and apparently my latch hooks aren't deep enough into the seat, so when trying the tighten the seat correctly the buckle runs into the seat before it is tight enough. Because of this the seat is unsafe to use in my car, which I am disappointed about because it does seem like a nice seat.

My first thoughts opening the box was, oh this is nice! It's heavy, but not too heavy to be annoying. Has an ample amount of padding to keep my kid comfortable! I wasn't a huge fan of the slide to fit straps, but it seems like most carseats have that nowadays, so it is what it is. We adjust. We took our carseat out to the car, removed our old one and put our Evenflo Everykid 4 in 1 convertible seat in. I drive a minivan, so space isn't an issue, but I don't think it would be a comfortable fit in a smaller SUV or compact car. The installation: was kind of a pain. The latches for the anchor positioning, is great, I love that I don't have to fiddle and find where they latch into, and they just click, hands down, best ever. Getting the seat secure was an issue. I felt like no matter what I did, the seat wasn't secure. I was finally able to get the seat secure after removing the carseat and adjusting the recline. I'm not sure if it took so much due to it being new and I was just removing all the slack, or what, but it took A LOT to get it not to wiggle at the base. And I wish the recline positions were better labeled, with like numbers or weigh ranges, or something. I do feel that the chest clip feels a little cheap and thin, I'd personally like it to be a little more hefty than this one is. I also like that the seat itself seems to sit higher than our other one, so my child is able to see out the window better, she seems to like this a lot. We've never really had issues with car rides before. I love the cupholders, they're removable but still click in enough where the child isn't going to pull them out and lose them. Overall, I like this carseat and I will keep it in our main vehicle. The biggest draw for me on this seat is that it will carry us through the not only the toddler years but all the way through childhood, until my child is 120 lbs. We won't have to go shopping for a high-back or no-back booster and we won't even have to uninstall the seat in order to adjust it. My child loved having cup holders for snacks and toys and I loved how cushioned and secure she was when strapped in. The installation itself wasn't as smooth as I would have liked. You really have to give it some muscle to make sure everything is latched and secure. However, now that it's installed it feels extremely secure. I also didn't care for the design of the chest clip, I'd prefer to squeeze a buckle rather than push a button. Something about unstrapping her felt cumbersome. Apparently the new seat was so comfortable though that my kiddo fell asleep just a couple minutes into our drive. Her comfort in a car seat is just as important as her safety to me. Makes for a happy ride for the whole family!

I believe this car seat is worth what it is valued at. I love the fact that it grows up with your child and reaches all the way up to 120 pounds. It is a huge and heavy car seat, but given the life expectancy of the seat, it is understandable. I loved the ready clips for installation they made it super easy to attach it to the car. I was not a fan of the belt adjustment setup. The single sided adjustment makes it feel like the car seat starts leaning toward the side the belt is being pulled. The 5 point harness was very easy to adjust, and my daughter did not seem to mind it either. I also loved all the cushion that is surrounding her, it makes it perfect for long distance trips, and it makes me feel she is secured safely in the car seat. What a great seat! I love that the weight limit goes all the way up to 120 lbs. It is definitely a great value, just considering how long we will be able to use it. It's great in other areas too, not just longevity. For starters, it's a nice comfy seat! My 2 year old will even tell you, "I like my new seat!". It comes with a lot of extra removable padding, but we took those out to have a better fit for my little guy. Removing all the padding and seat cover was super easy, it even has little plastic knobs that secure the fabric onto the seat, which I thought was great. Huge plus when you have messy littles like I do, is that the fabric is machine washable and can even go in the dryer. This seat is by far the easiest car seat I've ever installed. Installing car seats has to be one of my least favorite things to do in the entire world. I live in South Florida, so installing in a hot car is the worst! You push and pull on everything, and in the end, no matter how hard you've worked, you still don't have a tight enough install. Not with this seat! I was pleasantly surprised when I had installed it correctly in ONE try!!! The SureSafe LATCH is definitely a selling point here. They pop right in, and have a little strap you pull to release the LATCH. I cannot stress how easy this install was, and this is my absolute favorite part of the car seat. They also have easy to follow install instruction videos that are nice to review before you install. Adjusting the headrest and recline is a breeze. No issues there. Adjusting the harness is also very simple. However when loosening, it does let out quite a bit of slack, which can sometimes end up with twisted buckles. It's not really a huge deal, more of an odd preference I have when it comes to car seats. Overall, great seat! Overall, this is a pretty good seat. I have 3 kids and have had 5 different car seats, so I have some experience with car seats! The seat is about average width, but is a little taller, which means you can install it closer to the edge of the car. It fits well in the back seat of my Toyota Sienna, with a decent amount of room in the middle between our other car seat. My main complaint would be that the chest clip is a bit stiff. I've only had the seat for a few weeks, so I don't know if it will get easier with more use or not. This could either be a pro or con, depending on if you have a child that likes to take their own seat belt off while driving. The seat belt lock off concept is new, and takes a little getting used to, but it only took me a couple minutes to get the seat installed vs upwards of 5-10 minutes I've wrestled with installing the old seat using the standard metal locking clip. The different modes (booster & backless booster) are fairly easy to switch to and from. For the price, this seat might be one of the best 4-in-1 option for anyone who doesn't want to spring for a high-end seat. Pros: seat belt lock offs are MUCH easier than using a car seat locking clip, not too wide, two cup holders, not too heavy, 4-in-1 with infant head and body pillows, the seat cover in multiple pieces makes washing easier, no-rethread harness, 10 year warranty. The Evenflo EveryKid 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat is a great car seat that you can get a lot of mileage out of. The car seat was easier to install in my Toyota Corolla than some because of the quick connector latches. I also like that the seat base was narrow at the bottom leaving more middle space between my 2 children's car seats. I tested it on my 2 children in both harness & high-back booster mode. 3yr old girl - 37lbs & 38" 5yr old boy - 40lbs & 43" My 3yr old daughter was excited that she could buckle herself unlike her previous forward facing convertible car seat as it was easier to push in the crotch buckle. I like that the chest clip is harder to undo than the previous seat for those times I don't want her trying to get out. I found the seatbelt bath in high-back booster mode a bit awkward, but technically I think it was a safe fit for both of my kids. The harness mode was great & the head rest more supportive than other seats, especially for slim kids. I love that it could be adjusted between the heights of both of my children very quickly. Other than the awkward belt path across the lap, my only small complaint was the organization of the owner's manual. I had to flip back and forth to different pages to find how to change between different modes & I'm an experienced car seat user. The seat is aesthetically pleasing with sleek lines and plush lining (most of which needs to be removed if used any way other than rear facing.) its a large, heavy seat with recline positions for rear facing and an easy to adjust head rest for quick adjustments as a child grows or if kids are sharing the seat in the same position. This seat will last your child through many ages and stages starting with rear facing 4+-40pounds, forward facing 22-65 pounds, high-back and no-back booster 40-120 pounds. I got this seat from Stellar Product Testing Panel to try and review. My kids couldn't wait to try it out, both forward face so that's how we've used it thus far. The seat comes all ready to use for rear facing, so it was a little bit of work to get it ready to use forward facing. The manual said to just slide the latch straps up and through but it was getting twisted in the shoulder straps so I had to completely remove them so I could make sure everything was untwisted and laying flat, it wasn't hard, just annoying. Installing the car seat was easy in theory, but I was unable to get it installed tight enough so it didn't move more than an inch even using full weight in the seat and pulling as tight as humanly possible, the straps would not tighten enough to not move more than an inch. I have a Chevy Trax and the seats are slightly slippery. I tried it in my husband's car, he has clothe seats and it installed without a problem! I let my kids try getting in and out of the seat once it was installed. The chest clip is rigid and takes work to get it clicked in and out. My kids are not able clip them together, something they enjoy doing in their other car seat. Once the buckles are clipped it, it is easy to tighten a child in by pulling the strap. When my kids get out of the car seat we loosen the strap, which is hard to do on this seat because the button is way up inside the seat. My kids are able to loosen themselves when exiting their old seat which makes things faster for me when we get out of the car, they are not able to do on this seat. If your child unbuckles their car seat while driving, this is the seat for them as my children are not able to do so! Over all this is a great seat if you can get it installed properly!

I received this "car seat" as a participant of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Might I add that it is amazing. I have experiences with other car seats and this is by far the best I've encountered. Mind you this isn't the detachable carry with you car seat. It's designed to stay in the car. The seat comes assembled with all the bells and whistles. It carries a bit of weight and the quality of the seating materials is very good. The material is both soft and comfortable but breathable so you don't have to worry about baby's comfort level. There are even simple directions on the side of the seat that aids in rear facing to simple booster. I put my 3 yo in it and she loves it. She's comfortable and loves the two cupholders. The headrest adjusts w a simple level to the height of your child. With just a few adjustments. I tried it w my 1yo. rear facing. It has these wonderful head stabilizers that offers protection in case it's needed but allows for free movement as well. I'm so excited that I can't wait to put my newborn in it. With the quality and safety features of the product. I have no doubt she'll be extremely safe and comfortable.

I have a newborn and a 2-year-old, and I am excited about the versatility of this car seat! With 2 little ones, I'm looking for something that will last for a while, and this hit the spot! My favorite feature is that it can last from infant to older children and converts into a booster! This will save us from having to purchase multiple seats as our kids grow! Pros: -Easy to install! We watched the installation video from Evenflo, but probably didn't need it. The latch system was very intuitive. -Great for multiple stages! I am using it for my toddler, since it can easily adjust as she transitions from rear to front-facing, but it has secure and snug inserts for infants, too. -Easy to adjust! The headrest and level systems make it easy to adjust as they grow. It only took seconds to adjust the head rest and shoulder straps for my toddler. My only complaint is that adjusting the crotch buckle took a little more time and effort than the shoulder straps. Overall, a great value for an all-in-one that goes from an infant seat to a booster! This car seat is amazing. Installing it was a breeze and only tookna couple minutes. Its very simple to adjust the harnes setting without having to uninstall and take apart, you just hit a button and raise or lower the back. Padding is super soft against baby. I love that the Evenflo EveryKid 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat will last from the time your little one is born to the time they outgrow a booster. The seat is a great one for extended rear-facing your child as it allows them to rear-face until they're 40lbs or 40" tall. Installation was easy! The quick connector latches work so much better than standard latches and makes securing the car seat in the car a breeze! My favorite thing is the ease at which you can adjust the headrest and straps (no threading straps!!). Just squeeze and move! That means you don't have to take the car seat apart each time your child grows or when using with two different children. A huge plus! I really only had one complaint. In order to get the angle correct when rear-facing (the arrow on the side parallel with the ground), the recline had to be all the way back. This meant that my two year old was pretty much laying down when in the seat and also that we had to either use it in the middle position of our mini-van or would have to move one of the front seats way up. I wish it could be a little more upright when rear-facing.

Baby gear is life. With two growing toddlers, it is important for our household to pick out gears that are overall safe and adapt to each kids needs. We like the style (color and design) and 12-position height-adjustable headrest which is prefect for growing kids along with their ever changing size. The car seat was easy to install into our minivan but not so much in my husbands KIA sedan (the latch was harder to attach since the seats do not recline). We have yet to have a snack or diaper accident on the car seat - but we appreciate the black color only because the dirtier it gets the easier it is wash off :)

We have a smaller car, a Ford Focus ST and the carseat my daughter had before was very large and bulky and she hated it. This car seat is not very big or bulky considering it is a 4-in-1 convertible carseat. It fits great in our car! It has an expiration date of 10 years which means you will truly only ever need the 1 carseat for your child. There is a latch system for a very easy install which took a few seconds to install in our vehicle. The harness system on it is also very easy to use. This carseat adjusts to your child easily with little effort. My daughter was absolutely excited that she had not just one but two cup holders! This carseat has exceeded my expectations. My daughter loved it so much that she fell asleep in it on our first car ride. I highly recommend this carseat to everyone with a child!

I was able to try this car seat through the stellar product testing panel. The first thing I noticed upon taking the car seat out of the box was that it was very sturdy. The only thing I had to do to put it together was put the cup holders on. My daughter has a bad habit of taking off cup holders and throwing them so it was nice that these don't just pop off. They need to slide and click in place. I also love how this doesn't seem nearly as bulky as other convertible car seats and has very nice padding. I was able to easily adjust the straps to fit my daughter. The only issue I have is that it can be a bit challenging to get the latch tethers tight enough when installing it in the car. i ended up needing another person to help me which is a bit of a hassle. All in all I think for the price its a decent car seat.

This car seat is amazing because you don't need to go to the store and buy multiple car seats for different stages. It was not complicated to instal because of the quick latch connectors as well as the belt path. You can adjust the headrest depending on your child with 12 positions. This car seat has multiple headrest positions that can be ajustable for your child's weight and height. As you can see I have a 1 year old and a 5 year old, I can use it for any of them because it ranges for kids from 1-10 years old. I got it just in time for my one year old boy. I would like to start by saying I am already an EVENFLO car seat owner and LOVE IT, however this new seat is even better than my 1st EvenFlo convertible car seat. The newer model is less bulky, but offers the same protection for my children. The cup holders are a HUGE improvement and will actually hold a cup/bottle unlike my current seat that has the elastic outside for the cup holder. The seat is pretty easy to install in the car. The most difficult portion of the install with is pulling the quick latch tether tight enough to have the seat firmly in the car. I will say my own Evenflo seat is easier to install because you didn't have to pull the tether to tighten the latch it was self-tightening when you added weight to the seat. The seat is heavy, but I accept that is safety feature and assuming it's meant to prevent the seat from sliding and remain in place where is was installed. EvenFlo customer service was easy to work with as well, my seat arrived without the cup holders and the directions clearly stated NOT to use the seat without them. I reached out to my point of contact with Stellar product testing and EvenFlo overnight-ed the cup holders to me at no cost. ** Disclaimer I did receive this product at no cost to me thru Stellar Product testing. However, I was a fan of EvenFlo products prior to getting this car seat to do try in exchange for an honest review.

I was excited to receive this car seat to try out for free as a member of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have a 6 year old and a 2 year old, and I decided that this seat would be great for my 2 year old, as she is still using a forward-facing 5-point harness. The seat arrived in great condition, on my doorstep, from Evenflo. Upon unboxing, the first thing that I noticed was that it was a bit heavier than the seat I am used to, but then her previous seat isn't able to convert to a booster. I then sat down and attempted to read the instruction manual to find out how to install the seat as forward-facing in my car. This lead to a LOT of frustration on my part. I was able to figure out how to install it using my car's seatbelt, but not how to use it with the lower anchor connectors (UAS). It was not intuitive. God bless Evenflo, all I had to do was get on YouTube, and Evenflo has graciously provided instructional videos on how to install the seat in every configuration. I was able to find the video I needed with a little bit of searching. Even if I couldn't find the video, I would have been able to hop onto Evenflo's website and talk to a Customer Service rep (the chat was very useful). I was able to set up the UAS the way I needed and install the seat into my car. The Quick Connectors are AMAZING!! No more hunting for the bars in my seats and bending every which way to connect the UAS. A simple push towards the bar, and they clicked into place. The red release loops are amazing. I think even my parents (who are almost 80 and arthritic) could use these Quick Connect UAS. They were a little difficult to tighten, but they tightened well. My daughter likes this seat, which is also a plus. I like knowing that I won't have to buy a booster seat for her, as this seat will convert when the time comes. Overall, this is a great quality seat, built to last for a long time. The setup is a little tricky, but I think it's worth it.

This car seat is great! It was very easy to install and set up for our 2 year old size (my husband states). Most of my family (husband, parents, myself) have a hard time loosening and tightening the harness on other carseats before. However with the harness on the Evenflo EveryKid 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat. My 2 year old can buckle the top buckle, to keep her happy, and my mother that has arthritis can loosen and buckle the belt with minimum struggle. I look forward to adjusting this seat as my toddler gets older and not having to worry about buying a new carseat for every stage of her childhood. This car seat is excellent! Lightweight, but durable and well constructed. I love that there are so many different ways that you can use it and that it grows with your child! The cup holders are nice for when the child is a toddler, making it easy to have a sippy cup near by. I love that I have three kids and that this car seat can be used by each of them! This carseat is great in theory. It is much more compact than the other carseat we were using for our 2 year old. I love the fact that it is rear facing as well as a forward facing car seat so that it can literally grow with your child. We didn't use the rear facing feature on it as my daughter is in a car seat she already loves. Instead we used it forward facing for out 2 year old and I must say the clips to latch into the seat so you don't have to use the seat belt to buckle up the carseat and it was very easy. Here comes the hard part... It was VERY hard to tighten the latch system. I wasn't strong enough so the carseat moved back and forth a little bit. I had to have my husband fix it and in a situation where you don't have a spouse or someone who is strong enough to pull it tight then you cant put it in safely enough to use therefore you would have to buckle it up using the seatbelt instead which is fine but it should just be easy enough to click it into the latches and be done. The car seat had no issue reclining. The headrest was able to move into the right position for my child but the harness didn't tighten easily either! Which was very frustrating. I don't like hard hard it is to tighten and loosen. It shouldn't be. My favorite feature of this car seat though is that it is a 4-1 and can grow with your child. Plus the fact that it is compact and I can actually fit my 3 carseats into the middle row of my Journey without any issues of space. Taking this carseat out of the box, I thought it was rather heavy. That was ok, because I just figured it was a sturdy carseat. When I took it out, the only assembly was adding the cup holders. Easy enough, they just snap in. I was trying this for my 3 year old so I took out the extra cushion and head support. I raised the headrest to the correct level and noticed that it was really flimsy. That was a turn off. I continued to install it in my car. Installation was simple. The clips we're probably my favorite part of the carseat. They snapped in easily and when I ultimately removed the seat, they were easy to remove too. Clipping her in was ok. The shoulder straps we easy to connect. The strap between her legs seems kind of short. She was complaining that it was tight. I couldn't figure out how to loosen it (or if you even can). Overall, this wouldn't be my first choice of carseats. But I will use this one in a pinch if needed. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I love this Evenflo 4-in-1 car seat we just got sent by Stella Product Testing panel in exchange for our honest review. I think all parents, especially baby wearing moms, who have no need to take infant car seats in and out with every car trip, will love this seat. Our 2 year old really likes the comfort strap guards & adjustable headrest. The only thing different about this new style of seat was that I had to watch a quick YouTube video on how to adjust the crotch strap.(since the car seat has the reclining base built into it for smaller babies) I really like that this seat is suitable for as small as 4 pounds all the way up to 120 pounds when adjusted & we dont have to keep 4 different car seats in storage! I can't wait to use this one with my future little ones!

Having 4 children and having used many different brands and types of carseats, I was very intrigued by the idea of an all-in-one carseat. However, I feel it tried to do too many things and ended up not being great at any of them. Rear-facing, I couldn't configure it in a way that I could fit my 2-year-old in the seat; the straps were simply too tight (even with all extra inserts removed). Forward-facing, my 4-year-old fit, but the straps were almost impossible to tighten and loosen for regular ease when buckling. As a booster seat, my 6-year-old fit, but my 8-year-old did not (too small). Overall, it was very difficult to wrangle into the various modes and I felt it wasn't easy to use for the regular in-and-out of repeated buckling/unbuckling. There are so many things we love about this car seat. First of all, it's SO versatile! This is the first 4-in-1 convertible car seat we've ever owned, and we love that it is designed to fit our little one through virtually every stage of growth. Installation was incredibly easy as well. Our little one's favorite features were the cup holders! Though it made for a much bulkier car seat set-up, he loved being able to easily access his drinks/snacks/whatever item he chose to store in there. Our only "complaint" (and I use that term loosely) was that buckling the 5-point harness was not the easiest at times. The chest buckle didn't feel as sturdy as other brands we've used - but we still felt 100% safe using it. The button buckles were difficult to manage, especially if the fabric surrounding it got snagged or wasn't positioned exactly right. This 4-in-1 convertible car seat could not have come at a better time! My one year old son had already outgrown his rear facing infant car seat and was in need of a rear facing car seat for his size. I love that this car seat will grow with him! It's so comfortable that he knocked out on the first car ride in it. Adjusting the seat to properly fit my son was pretty easy and installing in my vehicle was pretty easy as well once I decide the best location for it. Since we are currently using this rear facing I had a difficult time deciding were I was going to place it inside my SUV. Putting it behind the driver seat was a tight fit and the driver seat could not be adjusted comfortably. Putting it in the middle was a little difficult because the positions of the anchors in my car and how close it was to my daughters booster seat, made it kind of difficult for her to strap herself in. After a little repositioning and major tightening to make sure it was properly secured, I decided to install in the middle seat because it fit better and I always feel safer with my little guy in the middle. The Evenflo EveryKid 4-in-1 car seat has 3 rear facing and 1 forward facing recline positions to keep your child comfortable. I struggled with this at first because I couldn't decided which recline I liked better and which recline Luca was more comfortable with. There is no need to uninstall this car seat to adjust straps as your child grows because the 12 position headrest and no thread harness straps make this process so simple. We love the easy to remove cup holders because easy to remove means easy to clean and with little ones this is a must. Keep in mind that when you recline your child it does tip the angle of the cup holders. I recommend making sure that whoever utilizes the cup holders, like mom, dad, cousins, etc while sitting by your child only puts a drink in the cup holders that have a lid. I made the mistake of putting a drink with a lid and straw in the cup holder and it spilled when we went over a bump because of the angle. I received the Evenflo EveryKid 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. When I unboxed it in my living room, I was instantly impressed with the neutral design and roomy seat. It looks and feels like the Cadillac of car seats! My 1.5 year old son hates sitting in car seats so I expected a fight when I placed him in it to adjust it properly. After I had finished adjusting it I unbuckled it to let him out but he just sat there for a couple of minutes. He eventually got out, grabbed his favorite blanket and cup, then got right back in it! I had to struggle to remove him to put it in the car because he didn't want to get out of it! It was super easy to adjust the harness and headrest to his body and the seat in the car. It has the latch hook design as well as the car seat buckle capability which is convenient for me because it'll be moved from my car to my husbands often because he likes this seat better than out previous one and I'm not budging on giving it up either lol. It has great sized cupholders. Two! Which I'm excited about because he uses one for his cup and the other for his snacks. I feel so fortunate that we got this seat for a review but it's definitely worth the money! I will be recommending this seat to new parents that I know.

My daughter is super comfortable in it and I love having the cupholders to hold her bottles. It was a little hard for me to install because I am not strong enough to pull it completely tight but my husband was able to get it in no problem. My three year old daughter said "mommy I love this seat". The expansion on the headrest made it easy to set up the perfect fit for her. The seat was the easiest seat we've ever installed and it felt really secure from the beginning. It also has several reclining positions that make it convenient for those times she naps in the car. Installation of this car seat was easy. Adjusting to fit my son was fairly simple, as well. My son thinks it is comfortable and likes the cup holders. I like the cup holders, too, because they can be removed for easy cleaning. They also hold taller bottles better than the cup holders that are just an elastic strap. Considering all the features, I think this is a good car seat for the money. One thing that I am still getting used to is the head rest part sticks up taller than others I have used, and it creates a larger blind spot when I am looking behind me. This car seat made me think of tiny house building - "How many cool tricks can we fit in this space?" My 3yo son is 42lbs and over 42", so we started by modifying to the backed booster. My husband and I agreed that, for this seat, videos might be more helpful than written instruction, especially for re-lacing the 5 point harness. Once we figured it out we could see the cleverness of it. With a new baby on the way, I love that we can readjust the Evenflo EveryKid 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat when needed for #3! Safety and comfort for any of my kids with a few minutes' effort. The cup holders went on so easily and I love that they won't tip or fall like on previous seats. The padding is thick and squashy but I don't know how often I'll want to remove it for washing. It also looks too straight when forward facing but seems to fit well when the child is in it. The best endorsement is from my 3yo who, when sitting in this seat for the first time, announced, "It's so comfy!" I love knowing he is safe in a tested but still comfortable seat. If you've never used a 4-in-1 car seat, you are in for a treat. Coming in at a similar price point as most convertible car seats, the Evenflo Everykid is amazingly versatile and easy to adjust as your child grows. And judging by my toddler, who wanted to be strapped into it just for fun, it's apparently pretty comfortable, too! I really don't have any complaints. This car seat was so simple for me to install into for my 18month old.. all I had to do was latch it on and recline the seat. My daughter does not like the car but she actually sits comfortably in this car seat during our ride. The price point is great, and I will be using it for years to come. The buckle is a little stiff so I have to really press it to get it off of her, but I don't mind to much because i know when she is older she will not be able to take it off during the car ride. We have both a 5 year old and a 2 year old. We decided to upgrade our 5 year old's car seat using the Evenflo EveryKid 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat. We were excited that she can continue in her 5 point harness for quite awhile keeping her extra safe! Then she can continue to use the car seat as a high back booster and eventually a no-back booster. The car seat came with the crotch buckle in the rear facing position so we had to move it forward into the forward-facing position. This took a bit of time to figure out because you have to remove the bottom of the seat from the back to adjust the crotch buckle. Once we got the crotch buckle situated properly we moved on to installing the car seat. Installation was a breeze! The headrest can be moved up and you can raise the back padding so you can easily reach and tighten the seat belt. I recommend placing the seat belt into the lock down before completely tightening so it's not so tough. While adjusting the straps to fit our daughter properly we found that we could barely pull to tighten the harness. Realizing we had probably not re-attached the bottom of the car seat to the back properly we had to uninstall the car seat to fix the problem. Luckily, that only took a minute since we had already figured out how to work it and installing the car seat back in place was simple! The harness straps on the one side seem to get twisted with the bottom buckle often, but it does easily untwist back to normal. While playing with the other features of this car seat we found that adjusting the recline was incredibly easy. We were very impressed! It also seemed to recline perfectly for a newborn which is impressive for a 4-in-1 car seat. We love that it has two cupholders so our little one can enjoy a drink and a snack. The cupholders are deep enough so I doubt we will have any cups tipping over! We love how the headrest has 12 positions making it easy to find the perfect position for our child! Overall we are very impressed with the Evenflo EveryKid 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat and think it is a great value to grow with your child! This convertible Car seat is a Minimalist's dream because it can literally be the only car seat you need to buy! I love the size of it, it has bulk (for safety) in all the right places but still stays pretty small/slim (for those of us who need to put 3 car seats in a row). I have 4 kids who were each able to try out their seat size and all 4 usage options are great. I love that there are so many setting options to make this the right fit for any kid at any stage. There's a lot of little details in this car seat that make this car seat a stand out favorite for me (the buckles, the latch system, the adjustable back, the REMOVABLE back when you get to that stage). Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this convertible car seat. This is a great car seat for the price, esp since it can grow with your child. I did not use it rear facing because my son is already too big for that, but it is such a great seat. There is a lot of padding and my son seems super comfortable in it. When we had it sitting in our living room after we got it together my son kept going over to sit in it. He loved sitting in it and kept asking if we can go to the car. One thing I was not a huge fan of was there was no bubble indicator that tells me if it is level when I was installing it, which is not a huge deal but it def would have helped. You can not beat the price since it's a grow with me seat and he can use this all the way up to when he's a big kid. Installing it took a little bit of time but it was not terrible, I will not be taking it out again because that would probably be a hassle if you had to take it out and put it back in for different cars. The straps were really easy, ans I love that the bottom buckle stays in place so I'm not having to dig under my son everytime I want to strap him in. This is a Big plus for me because I have used another seat that I had to keep reaching under my son to get it and it was a big hassle everytime. The padding is nice and soft and keeps my son really comfortable. It has 3 setting for reclining but it doesn't really have numbers of where it is so a little hard to see which position it is in. The head rest is easy to move and can be adjusted for my son's height. I think it is really convinient and easy for me to get my son in and out which I love. I would def recommend this car seat, esp because of the price.

My bottom line on the Evenflo Everykid 4-in-1 is that it is superior in it's ability to correctly adjust to different vehicles and seat shapes at an excellent value for the number of included features. While many newer carseats offer a cushiony ride, convenience features such as no-rethread harness and the like, very few are able to adjust so well to the proper recline necessary for safe use without needing to place a rolled towel or blanket beneath the back edge in rear-facing use. I was delighted to find that this seat was more than able to do that, even though the manual does include instruction for adding this if the seat isn't able to recline as much as needed for your particular vehicle. This is one of my favorite features of this seat. It makes it much easier to transfer the seat between vehicles or just remove and re-install it when needed. It also makes it so that the seat is more securely in-place than most seem to be with quite a bit less effort needed for installing. I would love if it also had the self-tightening latch strap but that's a relatively minor annoyance which just requires a bit of muscle to pull the strap to proper tightness. At 37 weeks pregnant and juggling a busy 2-year-old I was still able to install this on my own into our midsize SUV and felt very comfortable with how securely it was installed! When I first started to read through the user manual for this seat I was admittedly a bit intimidated by the sheer amount of information and features there where to learn about. Some of them I'm still exploring until I feel more comfortable with them. For me it was easiest to go through the manual once then keep it with me while actually installing the seat and read back through the sections specifically pertaining to the methods I intended to use the seat for (rear-facing, infant use in this case) as I installed it. Adjusting the harness up and down is very easy and the one-handed adjustment lever at the top of the seat slides very smoothly. The included latch system does not require pinching and twisting as some do, making it much easier to install or remove. The fabric is soft and the seat feels very comfortable with plenty of cushiony support for little ones. The buckles clip and unclip smoothly and without unreasonable effort required. I was also pleased that the chest clip is a flat-buckle rather than a top-bottom pinch buckle as those seem much easier for toddlers to unclip when they shouldn't. This seat is a bit bulky to carry or maneuver in or out of the car when installing but seems to have a smaller seat-print than many in it's category, allowing it to sit fully on more vehicle seats and not impede the seats on either side of it as much. The seat does require the cupholders to remain installed for rear-facing use, which doesn't seem to be an issue as they don't protrude beyond the edges of the seat anyway, but I have noticed once installed they seem extremely difficult to pull back off which could present a bit of a challenge for cleaning them. Overall I am very pleased with this seat. The extensive, but appreciated, features make it a bit of a challenge to learn to begin with so do plan to set aside some time for that. Once you have the general idea it installs very smoothly and seems much more capable of a secure and proper-install than most in similar categories!
