Terrible car seat. Brand new and I can't tighten the harness. I've watched all the videos and have looked at the instructions manual. NOTHING. How can I keep my baby safe when I can't get it tightened enough. Waste of money and will never buy another one.

I bought this car seat two days ago for my daughter for her 1st birthday. We haven't used it yet but I love the way it looks and the quality of this forever seat!

I bought this car seat maybe 3 months ago? I have a big baby so we moved her into it before the average age. It's a comfy car seat with good padding, BUT it's a pain to deal with. The strap to tighten the carseat is so hard to pull, I thought we had a bad car seat. Other reviews have the same issue. My next (and most frustrating) issue is installing it into other cars. The strap is so hard to tighten that I CANNOT tighten it. My boyfriend has a hard time too. I do everything I can. Pushing at the base and pulling, nothing. Usually I have to unlatch the side with the strap, tighten it, then try as hard as I can to anchor it into the car. I also try to sit on it to be able to pull the strap tight, but the issue is the strap and it's inability to tighten. As soon as I have to opportunity, I'll be replacing this car seat and getting rid of it. The point of the car seat is supposed to be safety, but it it's moving 5 inches every direction because the straps don't tighten, that's not safe.

So blessed to have gotten our everyfit 4 in 1. We were in a car accident last month, our car rolled over and our baby was safe and sound, not 1 scratch. Please buy and use your evrryfit correctly its the best item you can purchase for your babys safety.

My mother bought this seat for us as my son was outgrowing his other one. My husband installed it without issue and went to put our son in it and the pull to tighten the straps was extremely hard to pull. It will eventually tighten enough, but takes a long time and when in a hurry, bad weather, or anything like that it is horrible. We have to pull so hard that it actually moves the whole seat which isn't good either. We have had family and friends look at it thinking we were doing something wrong. Unfortunately the first day we used it, my son got car sick so we can not even return it. I feel as if it's not safe and it was giving my anxiety that my son may not be safe in the car. We ended up buying a completely different car seat. We have two cars so I was hoping to figure this one out, but it's not looking promising.

We have only had this car seat for 3 months. Why they use styrofoam for the headrest part is beyond me. It cracked in half so one side is entirely missing. I tried to order a replacement part for it but it's no where to be found on the website. This car seat was made in March 2020. It's now August and it's junk. But supposed to last all the way to a booster. Next time I'll go ahead and go with Grace like I had originally planned.

I bought this for my sixth month old as he wasn't comfortable in infant carrier on a long drive last month and we have to do the 18 hour drive again in a few weeks. So far we have done a a few hours trips and no complaining! Install was pretty easy and I love how simple adjusting for the perfect fit is. I wish I had gone this route with my oldest rather than buy 3 different car seats/boosters. I definitely do not regret this purchase and suggest it to all parents who want a car seat that will last for the duration of needs!!

Only have had for a month, seemingly good deal, bought two, one for each vehicle, one in store and one online, shipping was fast. Seems comfortable and my daughter likes it with the cupholders and the head rest is easily movable which is nice. Getting it tight enough not to move side to side was a pain, I am 6' 200lbs and had to kneel in the carseat putting enough down pressure to pull the strap tight enough after hooking it to the cars loops. Not an easily moving from car to car seat, and I cannot drive my car anymore with this seat behind the driver seat, nor can I ride passenger in my truck because those seats need to be all the way up on order to fit this carseat in. Cant wait to switch it to forward facing...!

The only complaint I have is the middle strap that tightens the shoulder strap is hard to pull when car seat is rear facing even the fireman that installed it noticed it. But other than that I love this seat and so does my grandson!

Easy to install, and my son loves it compared to the infant carrier. I just wish the strap to tighten the harness was a little longer and wasn't soo tough to pull- other than that love the style and colors and fit in my ford explorer great. The front passenger still has leg room!

So far I've had the carseat for about a week and my son and i love it!!! Its has great cushioning and is supper comfy! And since its a 4 in 1 we don't ever have to worry about him growing! Love it!

When the box got here it was all damaged inside was the car seat just thrown in there no protective plastic or foam it was super dusty like it was a display one horrible

Bought 2 of the everykid car seats for my kids. Ages 3 and 1. When I took the car seats out of the box, I had to adjust the crotch area for my 3 year old. When I did this, I noticed the harness straps were fraying and not in proper condition. This is not safe for our child to ride in and I will not be using either car seat. I can't trust it if one was messed up. Both have been placed back in boxes!

I love the style of the seat and the comfort of it. I just bought this car seat because i didn't want to have to buy another for my daughter to fit , but I want to find a stroller that can attach but I can't seem to find any that are compatible. It would be nice to have this available in a travel system. Are there any strollers that are compatible?

We bought this car seat about a month ago and on Easter we were in a rollover accident. When installed properly (which it was) it securely holds up great. We obviously replaced with close to the same car seat! During the rollover our daughter did not move nor was she injured! I would highly recommend this seat and in fact searched stores to find the same one. Didn't have much luck but like I said we went out and got pretty much the same seat. A newer model.

This car seat came at the perfect time, as we were looking for a car seat to move my little boy into from his infant bucket seat. Taking it out of the box, I got scared that it would not for in my car with the current car seat set up that we have. I have a 2003 Toyota Highlander with a convertible car seat and a high back booster already. Much to my surprise, this car seat fit in my back seat asking with the others to go three wide! I did struggle a small bit with installing it, as I only have the option for seat belt installation in my car. The instruction book was a little too wordy for me and I got confused as to exactly how I was supposed to pass the seatbelt through. Once I reread it for the third time and got the seat in the car, I finally got it successfully installed. Some things I love about this seat, are the fact that I could easily and quickly adjust it to fit ANY of my four kids if needed. I love that the whole cover comes off and is machine washable. I love the dual cup holders. A couple cons for me, were that it was a bit difficult to install it using a seat belt installation. The instructions weren't super clear. Also, I have a leather seat and I find that with a seat belt installation, it causes the car seat itself to slide on my seat. I have solved the issue by using a small towel under the seat, but I wish I didn't have to do so. I wish that the plastic piece that you use to adjust the recliner could have some kind of non-slip pad on it or something to prevent that. If these changes were made, I would 100% give it a 5 star rating! I'd just like to start off by saying I received this convertible car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. With that being said I really liked this seat, as did my soon to be 3-year-old son. The install was easy and painless, which is a bonus, straps, and headrest are very easy to adjust, another bonus when it comes to child seats. It has lower bottom profile sides ( even though it doesn't really look like it ), as well as vertical sides making it easy for him to climb in himself and not get his legs or feet hung up on the seat. We received the Livingston color option and I really am a fan of darker color fabric seats and they met the mark there with the color choice on the Livingston color option. The cup holders are also a great feature and the seat seems like a decent size, not super huge and the base is smaller than the seat itself, which might be a plus for those smaller vehicles. The price point is super affordable and even though I do have a few cons, it is not a deal-breaker, at all. So, as I stated I do have some cons, but again the features and value of the seat definitely outweigh them. I think my biggest con is it only rear faces to 40 lbs, would love it if it went to 50 lbs rear-facing, the cushion ( bottom back area ) that adjusts with the headrest height took a bit getting used to, but once we got it to where it needed to be it was fine and the headrest " wings " seem like they could be a bit sturdier. I bought this seat because it was reasonably priced over competitors but would rather pay the extra money for the ease of installing like my other car seats. I struggled for 20 minutes to install the car seat using the latch hook systems. I tried to switch sides and had the same issue. It should not be so difficult to install the seat. I ended up breaking the head rest trying to do the install. Now I have to order a replacement and debating on getting a different brand seat entirely. The buckles are tough and pinch at the legs for chubbier babies. The shoulder straps are not the easiest to tighten either.

My Grandma bought this for our baby and my baby really likes being in this car seat compared his old one. The cushioned head protective stuff is so cushiony! I feel safe with my baby inside of it because he?s head won?t shake everytime there is a bump on the road. This is a comfy car seat and most importantly well made and baby loves it!

We are the parents of a 4 year old, 2.5 year old, and 6 month old. Every new phase, we?re buying a new car seat. And we?ve always stuck to mid price range, affordable options. This car seat is worth every penny with the growth options and ease it provides. With ?how to? videos becoming more popular Parent Link is a great option if you have troubles with reading the manual. I personally always read the manual and do just fine following the instructions provided. To me, the biggest Pro to this car seat is the harness adjustment. SO EASY. No more fretting with the straps in the back everytime a kiddo hits a growth spurt. Or, if you have a cousin visiting that?s a bit taller or shorter, it?s so easy to click the button on top and raise or lower the headrest and straps as a whole unit. So nifty! This by far is my favorite feature. Another great feature is the latch release. This was my first time using a latch that you just pull the strap and WALA, no more digging around between the seats and figuring out which way the hook is facing. For rear facing the leveler was also a breeze to adjust. I usually try to think of ?cons? in feedback, but I really don?t have any for this car seat. Overall it came out of the box ready, I tested it with all three kids, and every time we adjusted or installed it was ridiculously easy! The padding seems comfortable and two cup holders are always a plus. I will be sending this recommendation out to every mom I know, as well as buying another! I was given this convertible car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I decided to use this as rear facing for my toddler. Taking it out of the box - my kid was very excited to sit in it and try it out! I like that it's very cushy and the pads are a nice material. They liked the cupholders! Installation for me was pretty difficult. We used the LATCH system and it took two people and I still don't think it's in there tight enough. I do like the easy release tabs that you can pull to remove the latches once installed. The instructions were not super easy but I did like the videos on the Evenflo website. I would love if the parallel marker could be on both sides of the car seat - it was toward the inside of the car on my install and was a lot of work to check it, go back around and adjust, go back around and check it, etc. Luckily I had someone helping me, but I prefer seats I can install by myself. The shoulder strap height is easy to adjust by sliding up and down, but it bunches up the back cushion which is a bit annoying, especially since you're going to want to adjust it with a kid already in the seat! I do find this seat to be a good value for how many positions you can use it in and how long it will last. I would still recommend it but mention that the installation (for me) was a bit difficult. To be fair, I think the installation on most car seats is a bit difficult but I've still been able to do the others on my own. But, other than that, I'd definitely recommend this car seat!

This is a great car seat! I love that one seat will last us through many ages and stages, from 4 to 120 pounds! The seat is a great value. It is reasonably priced and is made to last you up to 10 years through all stages and safety needs, newborn to booster seat. The seat was very easy to install. The ratchet system makes it much easier to get the seat fastened tightly in the car. I was able to adjust the harness and headrest to fit my child perfectly. She is very comfortable in this seat. My favorite feature are the cupholders! These cupholders are slightly larger than the ones on our old seat and fit her water bottle perfectly! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this convertible car seat. As soon I took this car seat out of the box I noticed how nice the material was. It's a very nice feeling that is easy to wipe off. I am a mother of two boys. One is four and the other is 2. Both of them are forward facing and still using the five point harness. So the first thing I had to do was follow the instructions to convert it to forward facing. I got a little confused with the instructions. It tells you to go to one page to see how to do it and then to go to a different page for some steps. It would have been easier to just relist the steps on both pages. But once I figured that out it was really easy to install. It isn't over the top heavy so that helped. When I put it in my car I noticed it wasn't as bulky as the other car seat in my car. Which is nice. I drive a big SUV but it still feels like we can be cramped with big bulky car seats. I let both of my kids try to car seat out to see how they fit and how it adjusted to them. It worked well for both kids. It's easy to set up for their weight and size. They both really enjoyed the fact that there is two cup holders. One for snacks and one for drink. The sides don't come up as high as our other car seat and so it gives the feel of a little more freedom, which my four year old loved. It also helped him to be able to get in and out on his own a lot easier. Which is why I decided to let it be for him. It's latches well and feels snug and secure on him. The release is easy to use. The only thing I noticed that I would change is that the latch on the chest harness is pretty hard to unlatch. That would be nice for a younger kid or one who tried to unlatch but, for my four year old who has to get out of a car rider line for school, it made it a little tough. I have to turn around and undo it for him. But that is miner. Even though we aren't using it yet I converted it to a booster to see how that would work and it was also great. Overall, I highly recommend this car seat. I think it is an excellent choice and a great value for the features. I think I will be purchasing another one for my two year old when it's time for him to upgrade.

I really like all of the different features of the car seat. My son actually enjoys getting in the carseat now. I love that there is 2 cup holders. I mean for a kid that means filling it with toys and either a drink or snacks, but if it makes my kid happy then why not. I also like how it seems to have room for leg space. It was very easy to install in the car. We have an SUV and there is definitely enough room. Adjusting the harness at times can be a little bit challenging, the other part that I am not a big fan of is where the straps are sitting. They seem to be more on my kids legs than around his waist and I'm not sure if this is something that we can fix or not. Good value, easy to install. Like that its a 4 in one so wont necessarily have to buy a different one when he outgrows it. Everything adjusted easily. The only issue we had was figuring out how to adjust the crotch buckle, but quickly figured it out. Just took a moment to figure out how to disengage the seats. This car seat was easy to install and has so many features! It did require a little reading to make sure we were using it right but they make it as simple as possible. I so terribly badly wanted to love this seat! There are some super great features and other features that are not so great. I?m glad that they thought about parents and budgets because hey let?s face it car seats are expensive and sometimes it?s hard to drop that dough so an under 200 option is fantastic. Upon pulling this out of the box I noticed 1. How heavy it is and 2. How padded it is. The heaviness I wish could be changed because it sure is hard for me to wrestle two kids then a massive seat in and out. Holy cow the padding is so cushy and nice but I felt kindly overkill personally. My kids enjoy the comfort of padding but not so much that they can?t see or they?re crowded. Pretty sure my smallest is a little claustrophobic... the toddler wasn?t as bothered by it however it did make it quite a bit harder for him to see out. My absolute favorite feature of this seat are the latches that hook into the metal tether part of your vehicle. Oh so simple! I love that they?re trying to help save your thumbs and fingers a little here. The straps are seemingly simple in the back to fix however the crotch area buckle for my toddler and chunky monkey were a definite problem area. I feel my spouse and I are well versed in car seat safety and installation but this seat was an absolute PAIN. I thought I had it very well installed on the farthest back recline for my 7 mo old and when we got down the road I looked back and it had slid even further back as if it was so top heavy it was going to go into the floorboard...my husband wrestled it, I wrestled it, my dad wrestled it and we cannot one figure out why it?s doing that. Right now it?s in our extra vehicle just so it?s there if we need it but seriously hoping not to. I have become a big fan of convertible car seats since using an infant carrier and then a convertible with my three year old. So I was excited to try this one out courtesy of Stellar Product Testing Panel! One thing I really like about this seat is that I can also use it as a booster in a few years when my oldest matriculates from the convertible. This is truly an all-in-one carseat for a really good price. My son thought it was great that it had two cup holders because then he could have two drink choices. The installation of the seat was not difficult because it is done using the Latch system (if you have it) like a lot of other car seats. However, I did think it was hard to change the settings from infant to toddler. I had to look up the videos online, once I watched I had a good feel, but still got a bit flustered. I also think that the harness buckle on the bottom is a bit tight (too close) to my kiddo, and am hoping it doesn't become prohibitive for use as he gets a bit bigger. Overall, seems like a great seat!

Having a rapidly growing 2 year old, something that can grow with my child is a must! And this car seat does just that. Some of the pros of this car seat are: -Versatility- can be used from 4lbs clear up to 120lbs. -Tons of features including rear facing, forward facing with harness, high back booster, and no back booster. -Extremely easy to adjust! This is huge for me as it allows to quickly adjust the proper fit to my ever growing child. No more having to take the car seat out of the car to adjust the straps. And I love that the headrest automatically adjust with the straps. -Machine washable. Let?s be real, kids are messing so the fact that I can easily wash the fabric is a big plus. -Easy to secure into your car with the Quick Connector Latch. -Lots of cushion. We make many long trips to visit family and with how padded the seat is, our 2 year old is much happier on this trips. -2 detachable cup holders. Making there always a place available for my littles water bottles and occasional toys. Some of the cons for me with this car seat include: -Heavy. I have had many different convertible car seats and this one by far has been the heaviest which makes it more of a hassle to get it in and out of the car. -Wider then some. Having three younger kids all of which either need to be in a booster seat or convertible car seat, the width of a car seat is something I pay attention to in order to make sure they will all fit in my mid size SUV. With this car seat and another convertible car seat, it didn?t leave much room for my son to sit in the middle with his booster seat. All in all I am very impressed with this car seat and would recommend it to others! And most importantly my toddler loves the car seat which is most important of all because if she is happy in the car, then we all are happy.

The Evenflo EveryKid 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat is very sturdy and attractively styled. The additional padding for newborns and infants is easily removed for toddlers. I found this seat incredibly easy to install by myself as it arrived fully assembled via Stellar Product Testing Panel. The two cup holders also snap on with ease although my toddler can pull them back off by himself. The no-rethread harness is a favorite feature and the headrest adjustment can be done one-handed. Overall, I like that this seat comes already assembled and the latch connectors make it a simple install. The harness adjustment and removable infant padding make it a breeze to use. I absolutely adore the fact that this seat lasts from birth up through backless booster. As a parent with three in seats currently, I am always in search of maximum efficiency in budget and space-saving; this seat offers both. I do wish that the cup holders snapped in more permanently but I think Evenflo was wanting easy removal for spill cleanup.

I tried the Evenflo EveryKid 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat out on my four-and-a-half-year old and two year old; both are between the 80th and 90th percentiles for height and weight. Just as with all car seats, there?s a slight learning curve when it comes to installation and figuring out how things work, but I quickly got the hang of it. I appreciate that almost every kid can sit rear-facing well past his or her second birthday and possibly close to their third. My two-year-two-month old child is in the 90th percentile, and she has several pounds to go before hitting the 40-pound weight limit for rear-facing. At 22 pounds, this is 2 pounds lighter than our current car seat that allows extra leg room. It feels about the same in terms of ease in moving the seat in and out of the car. Depending on the color you get, the price is comparable too, as are the LATCH systems, adjustable headrest, and seat belt. What?s not comparable is that the EveryKid will last much longer. For safety purposes, I plan on keeping my kiddos in some sort of car seat or booster until they outgrow them, so that fact that I don?t have to scour reviews and decide upon a booster in coming years is a bonus for me. The third option, to use a normal adult seat belt with the high-back booster, was pretty cool, and my four year old thought so too. Though these have nothing to do with safety, I did like the TWO cup holders AND one snack tray; kids love accessories, right? And I totally believe they?ll wear them out. Speaking of food-related things, the cover is machine washable?yay! I haven?t had the chance to see how well it repels stains, but I?m looking forward to trying. My two big issues are: 1) There is no bubble indicator to show if the seat is properly and safely installed/reclined. I?m really trying to figure out why Evenflo decided to do away with this important feature. I?ve used it religiously with every other car seat we own, so it makes me feel uneasy not to have one on this car seat?which is why I?m giving four stars. 2) In the forward-facing position, you only have one option for adjusting the recline. Big bummer, especially if your kid is used to another car seat with this feature. Sometimes they just wanna lean back and rest their little eyes, and they can?t do that much with the EveryKid. The other features are great, but for my kid, the lack of recline options is a real damper for her long car-ride experience. So, thumbs up for ability to grow with your child, price, style/look, ease of installation, adjustable head rest, machine washable cover, and cushioning, and thumbs down for recline options and lack of bubble indicator.

We really like this carseat for several reasons. All three of my girls can fit in it and they are ages 2, 5, and 8 years old! It is really easy to adjust the height with just one hand. It is comfortable according to my 5 year old & my 2 year old seemed comfy in it. We like the large cup holders, shoulder & between the legs pads for comfort, and the seat sits a bit higher so the kiddo can see out the windows better. The harness and reclining part were also easy to adjust to fit each child. It wasn't too difficult to install with a seatbelt and once put through the locking mechanism the seat belt and seat did not move. Thank you Stellar parent panel product testing to review this product. Having 4 kids, many nieces, and nephews, and doing in-home daycare for several years I have seen so many car seats. Many of the extra bases are super light. way to health. hard to load, hard to change in vehicles. hard to adjust setting and hight as they grow, The Evenflo 4In 1 was a nice surprise. It can be used for the newest of babies all the way up until they can be in boosters and forward seating. The Bonuses of this product is that is heavy-duty. It has a 10-year lifespan to get you through all of your safety car seat needs. It is easy to adjust as your child gets older with a quick button to slide parts around. I can definitely be turned into a harness car seat for those toddler years and then again to be used as a booster seat with no back as your child ages. The only cons I can add are that it is quite heavy and I wouldn't want to move from vehicle to vehicle easily. They do have appropriate straps to make installing it with the latch system easy but it is a bulky heavy seat if you do it often. For the infant stage, I would use it as an extra in Dad's car or maybe Grandma's car because you don't 'wat to remove it to have the baby out in the carrier section like you would in so many other infant carriers. The baby would just be put into this one safely but without removing any of the car seats. PROS, Heavey duty easy to install, the longevity of life (1o year expiration) as your family grows. easy to use and adjust the setting with growing children, Not super expensive. I received the Evenflo EveryKid 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat to test from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and am so glad I got to try this product! For reference, I drive a 2007 Honda Fit (very small car) and have a 3 year old who is 30 lbs and 35 inches tall. The directions that come with the seat are simple and easy to understand, though some of the pictures are a little dark and hard to make out. The car seat is a breeze to install and the quick connector LATCH is fast and easy to attach to my car. The car seat feels secure after installation. The seat was super simple to adjust for my little girl. The padding is nice and soft, and she says it's a very comfortable seat in which to sit. My daughter put the washable fabric to the test in the first week of us (by getting sick in the car seat). I removed the fabric and washed it per the instructions and had it back on in no time. My daughter's favorite features are the 2 cup holders; she uses one for a drink and one for her snacks. I like the no rethread harness so I don't have to remove the car seat to adjust it as my little one grows. This car seat is a great value and worth every penny!

I received the Evenflo Everykid 4 in one car seat as part of the Stellar product testing panel. The installation was a breeze. The connectors have a quick release function that make it so easy to move, my parents could do it. The only thing I didn't like was the strap pads were made from a material that feels cheap and come off to easily. Other than that, I am very happy with this car seat.

We received this convertible car seat from stellar product testing panel to use and review. I thought the value of this car seat was good and would fit perfectly for most applications. The car seat conformed nicely to our child and provided north than adequate side impact cushion along with adjustability of the seat belts. The way the seat anchors are setup are a definite plus, it was nice not having to force my fingers down to disconnect them. The installation was very straight forward and a breeze with the anchors. One thing that was a little concerning is the lack of support on the base, if you get the anchors right enough the seat doesn't slide much but if it is not completely right, the seat can move forward and back making the seat not match the level, especially with leather seats that have a steep declination . I thought the snug protection and adjustability are the best parts of this car seat. Thanks to Stellar for this product test!

We received this seat from Stellar Product Testing panel to test and give our honest opinion on it. So let me start with what we like about the seat. We like the red release loops on the latch anchors, makes it much easier to unbuckle; there are 2 cup holders like the brand name seat for our older child so both can be alike; the color is a nice gray and black. But that's about it!!!! We are using it in a forward facing position. It took me 30-60 minutes just to unbox the seat, remove the extra pads, figure out how to unhook the rear anchor strap, reference the manual on how to switch the latch strap from rear to forward facing, get the seat pad elastics off the hooks (why not just use snaps like our other brand name seat has??), and then I had to search through the entire manual to find where to move the crotch buckle from one position to the other which you have to do for forward facing. In order to move the buckle you have to remove the bottom of the seat (booster only mode). Ok done now I move the buckle not so bad put the seat back together and the tightening strap is out of its slit so I have to remove the seat again and reinsert it. Get the seat in the car buckle the rear anchor strap, attach latch straps do a test and straps are twisted!! What the ???!! Remove bottom of the seat again to untwist them, apparently you have to be careful when you slide the bottom on it can twist the seat belt where it attaches underneath. Slide it on and yep the tightening strap came out again!! Frustrated by now is an understatement!! Slide seat back apart rethread the strap carefully slide seat on making sure seatbelt is up straight and all is right. Tighten down the seat by putting my full weight in the seat and pulling the latch strap. Oh and by the way there is NO leveling bubble like on other seats! It's still LOOSE!! Like major wiggle loose! Try again! Nope! Give up put kid in the seat drive to my husband and have him try. The seat still has way too much play but it's as tight as we can get it. We will be giving this seat to my parents for my oldest for a high back seatbelt booster only!! I do not recommend this seat and if I had bought it it would be returned for a better name brand!!!

A few things I love about this seat: It goes from an infant seat all the way to backless booster. It has a 10 year life before expiration. The rear facing weight limit is on the higher end. It has several different recline positions. The LATCH system was easy to use when installing in my SUV. The one thing I didn't love: In order to move the bottom strap to another position you have to take the whole thing apart. My son seems to like this seat more than others we have used based on the lack of fighting when strapping him in. Lol. It feels extra cushy so he stays comfortable on longer trips. I received this carseat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel to use and review. What a great carseat for anyone who wants to bypass an infant bucket seat with their kiddo. It is easy to rear face, front face, and take down to a booster seat. Easy to install, takes up about as much space as any other carseat, so no difference there. All in all, I would recommend it!

This car seat gets an A+ from me. I'm a grandma and my grandson recently started facing forward, which now makes it too hard and time consuming to install my daughter's car seat in my car when I watch my grandson. My only criteria for a car seat are safety and comfort, and this one more than delivers. It even has some "bells and whistles" like cupholders and nice material. The directions to install were clear and I could safely secure it myself. It was frustrating and took me about 15 minutes to adjust the crotch strap, but now that all the straps are adjusted to the right fit, I don't have any complaints. My grandson says he's comfy and I'm confident it's safe. I'd be surprised if there was a better bang-for-your-buck car seat out there. Overall, I would say that we like this car seat but it has a few things that are nice to know when purchasing: On the positive side: it seems very safe for my 5 month old- his head is held well and he seemed pretty comfortable in it, more so than our infant seat. I like the look of it, it's very sleek and the all black option is not an eyesore. It has about a million ways to adjust it to fit your child, so I would think that it would work for most everybody. On the con side: you really have to read every ounce of instructions to use it properly because it's a little different than other seats. It takes two people to get it installed well. One to push down on the seat as hard as possible and the other to pull the strap. Otherwise it will slide around too much so if you need to take it in and out of the car very much, you may not appreciate that. It's pretty bulky/wide. This is fine in a bucket seat but it would take up a significant amount of room on bench seats. For the price, I think it's a great seat. Those are just some points I would want to know when buying. I was surprised when this seat was delivered because it was in its retail box. My son who usually hates his car seat immediately wanted to sit in this seat. He really likes the cup holders. I really liked how easy it was to adjust and get the right strap/headrest height for my little one. The seat looks so comfy and is very well cushioned. But I also like that some of the cushions can be removed because the summers here can be really hot. I appreciate it being able to be cleaned, which as a parent who has experienced a child vomiting in a car seat a time or 2 ? being able to launder the cover is important. I was a little annoyed with the straps because they kept getting twisted, but I like the little strap covers and my son likes that the straps are not as stiff. At first, I found the chest clip difficult to open, but I?ve gotten the hang of it now. And I think ideally the crotch buckle should be a little longer. But other than those 2 small issues, this looks to be a beautiful seat that should last my little guy until he?s a big kid.
