I recently had the opportunity to test out the Highpoint Belt-Positioning Booster with Backless Mode through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. First of all I noticed that this is a relatively light weight seat, and I appreciate that! Hauling heavy seats in and out of the car to vacuum is not my idea of fun. I decided to use this booster with the back attached. It was simple to take on and off and super-easy to clip in place in my car. I like that the seat isn't too wide and doesn't cover up the seatbelt buckle in the car. I've had trouble with other boosters in the past. My child said that it is comfy and they like the cupholders. The color-coded belt paths make it easy to keep the seatbelt in a reachable position so that it doesn't need to be re-threaded every time we get in and out of the car, that's great. I think this will be a nice seat for my 7 year old.

I received the Britax Highpoint Belt-Positioning Booster with Backless Mode to test it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Upon opening it, I was very happy with how lightweight the seat is, even with the back attached. It was extremely easy to install and the seatbelt colored guides make it easy to know where to run the seatbelt. My son, 5, was really excited to get into this seat, he did not really like the one we had previously, as it was very hard to pull the seatbelt through the guides to buckle in. This one is much easier for him to buckle himself without help, a win for me! He has commented several times how comfortable the seat is and the adjustable headrest is easy to use. The cupholders are very sturdy and easy to remove, as needed. I like the idea of the adjustable crotch strap for increased safety but my son does not really like having to run the lap strap through the buckle and frequently just won't use that strap, unless I force him to. I am keeping him with the back on the booster for now, but I did remove the back and reattach it to see how that works, and it is pretty easy to connect. Overall, we really like this booster seat and love that we will be able to use it for quite some time since we can remove the back when he is ready for just the booster seat.

The seats seem to be well constructed with nice fabric finishes. It's a quality product that I'm accustomed to getting when you buy Britax products. The only reason I deducted a star in the rating is that the manufacturers date on the seat is July 19, 2018 with an expiration date of 2028. It will work for us but it is disappointing to know the seat is already almost 2 years old just out of the box.

I was given this booster to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We really liked it! My son is 5 years old (about 50 pounds) and he has been in a harness carseat, so this was our first booster seat. We kept the back mode on, we didn't feel he was big enough for the backless mode yet. Because it was our first time using an actual seatbelt and not the harness, it took some time getting use to that. Pros: - Lap belt position crotch strap - Extra level of safety, and helps your child sit in their seat properly. It is also adjustable, so it can be tightened or loosened to fit your child as they grow. - 3 levels of side impact protection - not all boosters have that! - The headrest - it's adjustable! So it can move with your child as they grow - which means it's easier to get the shoulder belt to fit properly on their shoulder, not cutting into their necks like other boosters. - It's easy to install and lightweight, so if you need to move it to another car it's SO easy! It's no longer a dreaded chore to move the carseat!!!! YAY! - It's comfortable! My son loves this booster! - 2 cup holders that are perfect sized. Con: - You have to waste a lot of time tighting the belt manually, because the booster won't allow the seatbelt to retract on it's own.

Based off my sons weight and height per the instruction recommendation I used the booster with the high back attached. Out of the box I noticed the booster was very light in weight. Attaching the high back was a very quick and simple 2 step process, attach the cup holders (2 of them!) and the booster was ready to be installed. This booster has the Latch system to hold the booster in place which ensures that if there is any impact, the seat is secure and my child wont be thrown or the booster wont slide from underneath him thereby causing the seat belt to possibly injure my child. This is important because many booster seats rely on the weight of the child to keep the seat in place. I Love that its easy to install and that its light enough to easily transfer the booster (with or without the high back) from one car to another car. The color coded belt paths makes it a no brainer as to where the seat belt is to be attached. The side impact panels on the high back head rest is another feature that I like. I am anticipating that I will definitely be using the high back mode for the maximum height and weight allowed. If I had one suggestion it would be to add a little table that can somehow attach to the chair so that my child could set his books or tablet on.

We had the opportunity to test this booster thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel. We are already fans of the convertible car seats by Britax. The impeccable safety record is the most important to us. The color-coded belt paths make it easy for all of us to see how to use the seat properly. It is fairly easy to change to a backless booster, although I was convinced I broke the seat based on the huge crunch sound it made when the back came off. The manual described it as a "click". Perhaps having a tab or something to push rather than just rotate the back until you force it apart would make it a bit more user friendly. Although, it is a great thing that the back doesn't come apart from the booster too easily! My favorite feature of this booster is how easy it is to adjust the height of the headrest! Oh, and who wouldn't LOVE two dishwasher safe cup holders?!

I was SO excited to receive this Highpoint Belt-Positioning Booster with Backless Mode as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. First off, the Asher color was a great, neutral color for my black leather seats without being too boring. I was most intrigued by the "crotch strap" that assisted with proper positioning of the lap belt. I saw this as a nice transition from the 5 point harness that allowed my child to buckle himself properly. The latch system was great - though not as easy as some other brands. But it's not meant to be AS tight as the other seats, so I was OK with it. The material is easy to clean and comfortable enough. I like the seat, overall, and would recommend it to others.

I am loving the Highpoint booster! I have been using it mostly for my 4 year old son who has recently grown big enough to use a booster seat. The belt positioners are great for helping me make sure he is safe and I love the belt hook between his legs so I know he isn't gradually slouching/sliding down and into an incorrect position. My 6 year old daughter has also used it and it is super easy to adjust the headrest height so the belts are positioned correctly. My son hasn't quite figured out how to buckle the belt himself but my daughter had no problem using the color-coded belt paths to get herself buckled in correctly. The back is also very easy to take off if we want to take to another car. It is pretty wide (and heavy) with the headrest on so I envision using it mostly in our minivan where it fits comfortably. Our second row now has two boosters with generous head protection (including this one) and a forward-facing convertible carseat and there is ample room for all three. I was given this booster seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have 4 children so I'm always happy when a product can be used in different settings. I played with it in backless mode, installing the back was easy but when i tried to remove it again it moved normally until a point and then was so tight that i was afraid to break the booster. I forced it out, and see that the plastic shows it. besides this, I like how easy it is to install and adjust the hight, my 6 years old kiddo used it in high back mode and didn't complain. We used it only for short trips so i can't comment on long term comfort yet. overall it's a fine booster but i am not sure how it will hold up after a few back and forth between high back / backless

I received this car seat to try out fromStellar Product Testing Panel. It took just a few minutes to install the car seat with the latches, it was really straightforward to adjust and get my daughter seated in no time. We used it with the high back since she is tall but not even six yet. Although she said it was comfortable, I will end up switching back to our old booster with two seatbelt straps. She is not ready for the shoulder belt yet, I think she needs a few more months to be mature enough to sit properly without the 5 point harness. In any case I will be glad to go back to this Skyline booster since it seems easy to wash the cover, has two cup holders you can easily take on and off. It is quite easy to adjust and ultimately convert into a backless booster, so we could be using it until she no longer needs a booster. Also I am considering carrying this booster seat with us when we travel since it is relatively light and not too big.

I was given this Britax Skyline 2 Stage Belt Positioning Booster to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The booster seat with back was simple to put together with only a few steps. The back can easily be removed. We love that it has two cup holders which we use one for drinks and the other as a snack holder. The cup holders are easy to remove and clean. The color coded belt path is nice so that the adults and kids know where to weave the belt through. The structure of the seat looks very comfortable with two layers of side impact protection and padding. It does look very upright which I personally wouldn't like but my daughter said it was fine. My daughter is 5 and weighs 45 pounds and there is plenty of space to grow. The booster seat also has 10 position quick adjust for the headrest which is nice for growing kids. The seat doesn't take up too much space in the backseat, which is nice for a family that has a toddler as well. Overall, my daughter likes the car seat but would suggest having another snack compartment.

There's something to be said about a lightweight car/booster seat that doesn't skimp on safety or overall features. I am ALWAYS impressed by Britax! The Skyline 2-Stage is our 3rd Britax seat (currently used as a spare) and it comes in handy when my kids have guests or my oldest wants to change up his spot in the car! What I love: Lightweight for transportation/installation Removable high back & safety surround Easily installed using latch hooks Belt guide for proper buckle placement TWO cup holders- my son's favorite feature! The Skyline is the perfect transitional seat as your little one becomes not so little. Checking off even more boxes: The minimal weight of the seat and user friendly installation makes this a great option as a secondary car seat for all caregivers. I've just tried the Britax Skyline 2-Stage Belt-Positioning Booster and it's the easiest car seat I've ever used. From the simplicity of the packaging to the assembly instructions to the install, this is intuitive. I've used so many different car seats before and apart from the most basic of boosters this has been the only one I haven't had to double check at a fire station because I feel confident I've installed this one correctly. The color-coded straps are simple to understand and keep the belt at a safe, comfortable position. I also love the two cup holders. This was the one place my daughter mentioned a negative. They do come off easily. However, they are also easy to put back on. I wish they were more secure so she couldn't take them off. Britax continues to put forth easy to use, quality products!! The high back booster is certainly no exception. The booster comes in two pieces and it very easy to assemble. The color coded seat belt paths make it fool proof to install. We're currently using it as a high back booster. I also enjoyed the fabric. Mom of seven, I need easy to clean. It can easily be wiped clean. My daughter found the seat extremely comfortable. She loves the built in cup holders. We were so thankful to receive the booster as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I received my Britax Skyline 2-Stage Belt-Positioning Booster from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for this review, and I am so glad I was accepted to test this product! My kiddo was absolutely thrilled as soon as I brought the box into the house. They insisted that they sit in it to see if they liked it as soon as I had assembled it. They then told me I had to change out the current car seat-to-booster I had in the car for the Britax, because the current one was no longer favored. I've only been able to test the booster in the backed booster, as the kiddo isn't big enough to utilize the backless booster yet. I had messed around with converting it from a backless booster and a backed booster before I had put it in the car, and it was relatively easy to change modes. I only say relatively because I had a slight issue with getting it to snap together the way the manual had shown. I had to lightly hit it to get it to click into place, but it only took a single soft hit to get it to pop into place. I didn't really pay too much attention to the color coded belt paths, but I thought they were a nice touch for those unfamiliar with newer booster seats. My other half was easily able to install the seat without any prompting from myself or reading of the manual due to the colored paths. I did double check their work and they did it as if they had read the manual themselves. The safety features are excellent, though I was surprised to see it did not have a top anchor option like most of the other boosters I have seen. Though that may have been due to the fact I had looked at baby-to-booster style seats versus single usage seats. If you were to ask my kiddo their favorite feature on this seat, they'd gladly tell you the cup holders. They were so darn excited to have not only have a cup holder, but two cup holders! My other half and my's favorite feature is how lightweight but durable feeling this seat is compared to some others, along with the ease of installation!

I love that there is no messing with difficult connectors and that the LATCH straps store nicely in the back of the seat when not in use by simply tightening the LATCH strap. Once we got the seat in the car, the color coded belt path made it easy for my daughter to know exactly where her seatbelt should rest every time - it was like a lightbulb went off for her when I explained how the red path was used! She had no issues buckling herself in for each ride. In addition, the seat cover material is very soft and comfortable for the rider. Surface messes easily wipe off with a damp cloth, and if a more thorough cleaning is needed the covers remove from the shell easily and can be hand washed. In my six year old?s opinion, the (dishwasher safe) cupholders are handy not only for her drinks and snacks, but for whatever treasures she may be collecting that day! She says it is very comfortable and is her favorite carseat to date. The seat put her in the proper position every time we got in the car and made it easy for her to maintain that position. The only thing I found a little surprising was that taking the high back portion off of the seat base is a bit different than I anticipated, and makes a couple fairly loud pops/clicks. I also found that after I had the back laying flat I had to get the seat off the ground to remove the seat back from the base. This was not in any way difficult, but I was surprised by the fact that it was manual force to remove the back instead of some sort of latch. I love this booster! I did receive this seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. However, my review is true and honest to how I feel about this product and it is an A+ booster seat. This was my first true booster seat that I have used for my son. It was a breeze to assemble and makes getting him in and out of the car so much easier. At the same time, it gives me the same sense of security of a traditional car seat. I love the way the seat belt feeds through the seat and the headrest adjusts to make sure the alignment is perfect for every height. Also - it is SUPER lightweight. It makes moving it from car to car super easy. Honestly, I couldn't recommend this seat any more! A++++ for Britax!!

My 4'1" 50 lb six-year-old was so excited to be tall enough for the backless mode of the Britax Skyline 2-Stage Belt-Positioning Booster that we received as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It is easy to use and fills an important gap in booster seats between high-back and backless booster seats. Best of all, it's big enough my tall kid will be able to use it until they're big enough to sit in the seat alone. The red belt path guides help my big be able to buckle themselves in, which is great for their sense of independence and competence. They find the seat comfortable and love the cup holders. We chose a Britax for our first car seat too, and are thrilled to be able to continue using these great products.

We used this model with the back as my daughter is 4. Putting it together was easy once we read the directions. We kept trying before to attach the base and it would slip up every time as we tried to move it to the upright position. You have to lay it flat and push down until you hear the click and then it can be moved upright no problem. My daughter installed the cup holders herself. It's no more difficult to install than a carseat, probably easier actually. I like that it isn't super huge because we have a pretty small car. This fits in the back and she has more room than she did with her front facing car seat. She seems much more comfortable in this seat as she really was about too big for her carseat and her feet were bunched up against the front seat. Style wise I like the black, it looks nice in my car and appears to be high quality. I've always trusted my Britax car seats and we've had several. She seems really secure in there as we tried wiggling it about after installation and it stays put. She was super excited when we told her we got her a new booster seat to try out from Steller Product testing. Put it together in the house. She ran over to sit on it and started looking at the sides and feeling under the edge of seat. She looks at us and says "where's' the rocket booster?" Ha! She thought we got her a rocket booster seat, and was a bit disappointed to learn it was just for the car!

This is a sturdy booster seat with nice features like additional side impact protection and the lap belt holder. However, I was disappointed to see 'Made in China' on the label when I received it. I specifically purchased this seat because Britax advertises 'safety made in the USA'. The customer service agent I spoke to was very helpful, explaining that parts are imported and assembled in the US.

This is our second Britax. It uses thin, low density foam that is uncomfortable for anything more than a short ride. Britax enjoys brand perception and pricing of best in class product. This is disappointing.

I could not be happier with this product! My daughter is big for her age, 50 lbs and 41" at 4 years old. This booster allows her plenty of room for comfort. I also love the seat belt holder feature on the lap belt as it provides a lot of comfort and keeps her secure. I highly recommend this product!

I love the Skyline. Britax gifted me this seat in exchange for an honest review and I can honestly say it is our family's favorite car seat. My kids are 6 and 8 and were in a Pinnacle and a Frontier but my 8 year old is now thrilled to be in a Skyline. The Skyline is so much lighter and easier to get in and out of the car than the other seats. The click tight system is a breeze and the profile is slimmer. We will, most definitely, switch my 6 year old to a Skyline in the next year and a half. The only drawback to the seat, according to my daughter, is that there is not as much cushioning under her bottom. She feels the seat is roomier, she loves the fabric and the cup holders and is clearly pleased at being in a "bigger kid" seat. I am safety obsessed and would transport my children in Britax seats for the rest of their lives if I could. I cannot say enough good things about Britax and their amazing products.

I keep my kids in 5 point seats as long as possible with a lot of my doing that being because I worried about the lower belt not being in the right position. With this seat the lower belt is held in place where it belongs and the shoulder height of the belt is held in place with the seat. It is easy for my daughter to buckle herself and be buckled properly with the lap piece there for her to put the lap belt thru. My daughter also told me the seat is comfortable to ride in and she loves that she has 2 cup holders. This seat was super easy to install, took me all of maybe 5 minutes to have it installed properly the first time doing it.Adjusting the seat to have the top part of the seat belt be where it needs to be for older kids is easy and can be done with out having to remove the whole seat from the car since the adjustment is done with the seats head rest. Over all I am very happy with this seat, I have loved Britax forever and I am loving how this seat makes the transition to a booster easy because the kids have the help of the lap strap to learn the proper way a seat belt should fit them.

This is a really convenient, lightweight booster that is incredibly easy to move between cars. The back adjusts easily, by pulling up on a handle, and will extend high enough for even very tall children. I might choose something with a bit more seat cushion for greater comfort on longer car rides, but for quick trips around town, or as an extra car seat for a grandparent's car or carpool, this would be ideal. I also loved that it's ready to go straight out of the box! The only pieces I needed to assemble were the water bottle holders, and this was a snap, just push them into place.

We've been using this booster for about a month and it's great. It was very easy to install and I love that it has latches to hold it in place even when my daughter isn't riding in it. And she loves the headrest for snoozing during longer car rides and the color is awesome!

Upon unboxing the Britax Highpoint our first impression was how breathable the fabric felt, loved the light blue colors, and how much cushion the seat has. Then the removable cup holders that can be washed! Next we were excited how easily the headrest moved and how high it went. Lastly, the true test was how easy it was it to install. The "Connectors" that have to install over the backseat lower anchors were so easy to install and went in immediately. Then we tighten the "Lower Connector Adjuster Strap" to secure the seat so that it does not move. Next was putting the seatbelt across and over the lap. Really love the "SecureGuard" clip over the padded lap cover. Our 7 year wanted to be like his friends and only use the backless booster until he sat in The Highpoint. It was so comfortable and he felt like a "Big Kid", and Mom feels less anxious about leaving the 5-point harness car seat. We highly recommend this product to anyone choosing a booster. This seat is complete love for us. My 12 yr old comfortably rides in this seat. She's about 64lbs and 54in tall. She likes having a place to comfortably rest her head when she falls asleep on road trips, and knowing that she's secured in the safest way possible with the seat belt in the correct position is of the upmost importance to us. **NOTE: My daughter is 12 years old, not 8. That was the highest age I could select in the "child's age" selection.**

I installed the Highpoint in our 2017 Ford Explorer (passenger side, back seat, with LATCH) and was pleased to see that even though the back on the Highpoint booster appears to be a tad on the wide side right out of the box, I am not losing any of the middle seat space AND have no problem buckling the vehicle safety belt when the Highpoint booster is in use. We have used Britax seats since "Cowmooflage" was the coolest fashion on our 2003 Roundabout when my now 15-year-old son was a baby. So when I saw that the Highpoint has three layers of side impact protection, I wasn't surprised one bit! Britax has always equaled top-notch safety (and customer service) for me - and my four kids! Installation was super easy. One button to release the tension on the LATCH connectors, one pull to tighten the LATCH connectors. Once installed and after I threaded the vehicle belt through the red shoulder belt guide and under the door-side armrest, my son loved the look and had NO problem jumping right in. He was quick to point out that the "red parts" on the booster are where the seat belt goes when buckling him in (through the SecureGuard across his upper thighs and under the armrest on the buckle side) after I easily adjusted the head restraint height to his height and buckled him in. He then immediately noticed that there were two cup holders for his water bottles (apparently it's a big deal for him) and I already knew they are dishwasher safe! Score! His first reaction? "Mom! This seat is REALLY comfortable!" We have been using the seat multiple times daily for over a week now and he is no longer squirmy in the car! We have had many different Britax car seats over the years and have been pleased with all of them. But, what makes this booster seat stand out is the material it is made with as it not only looks great but it also feels great. My 10YO son, who desperately does not want to be in a booster seat any longer, was very pleased with how he felt in this seat. To his surprise, he said it was very comfortable and he could appreciate how lux the material it is made with is. My 8YO daughter wants a new car seat now, too! It was super easy to install, which is great because when you have to take it out, it's easy to put right back in!

My youngest son is seven and we needed a new booster seat as ours was falling apart. My son had trouble buckling himself in the old seat and frankly needed more independence. We were so excited when Britax's Highpoint Booster Seat showed up. I installed it very easily. First I pushed red button extend the strap for the LATCH connectors and once those were clicked in, I pulled the straps on the both of the sides of the booster to guide the seat into place. Next, I threaded the seatbelt through the shoulder guide. When my son used the seat, I raised the headrest first and then buckled my son in. I made sure to use the SecureGuard (that's the red clip on the seating portion of the booster) - that properly positions the lap part of the seat belt low across his hips/upper thighs. My son had the biggest smile when he saw his new seat. He really felt like a bigger kid and his exact words were "This is cool!" And did I mention there were two cup holders that click right in...and are dishwasher safe? My son was absolutely thrilled. The best part is he can buckle in himself in now.

This is just what I was looking for!!!! My daughter is 5 but she's super tall, this seat fits her perfectly and as still have more slack to extend the head restraint which is awesome! She said it's very comfortable and it's so easy to install! The cup holders are simple to attach on and the lower connectors are so easy to use. Tightening and loosing the latches is a Since with the lower connection release button! I would highly recommend the Britax highpoint seat!!! My daughter is 9 and we were looking for a booster seat that would provide coverage for her whole body! This booster seat adjusts to provide her with head support as well as back/body. I love that it clips into LATCH and stays in place. This makes it easy for her to buckle her seatbelt without having to dig for the buckle. She loves the head support and ease of putting on her seatbelt. Of course I love that it helps position her seat belt in the right sport for her body size. She will use this seat until she is taller and can sit safely without it.
