This is a very very sturdy product; however, it's so heavy and harden to clean and install than most other car seats I have owned. Lugging this through the airport was a nightmare.

Good, solid, slim car seat. We needed a convertible car seat for my husband’s truck now that our 9 month old has outgrown his infant seat. Since this is marketed as a slim compact seat, it seemed like the best one to go with. While it is slim side to side, it’s definitely not compact front to back. To fit in the truck, rear facing, the passenger front seat had to be pushed all the way to the front and leaned slightly forward. This bothered me so much at first, I considered selling it rather than try to ship it back. After reading some other reviews online, there is a foam cushion you can purchase to angle the car seat upright (for an extra $25). We purchased the cushion and it did help the problem some. Overall, for front facing this is a great narrow car seat. For rear facing, if you have a compact car or truck, I’d look for something else. For $200 you think they could throw in a $25 cushion which probably cost a few bucks to make… I do like the seat, design, and feel; I’m sure I’ll like it more when we can turn it forward.. I just really hated that I bought it specifically because it was marketed as a “slim” seat, but only if you’re forward facing.

This is our main seat for our 4 year old. Rear-facing install can be a pain, but is usually do-able. Definitely get the angle adjuster! Forward-facing install is pretty simple and easy. We've had to wash the cover quite a bit and it's held up well overall. It's also a narrow seat, so good when you need to fit several kids.

I love this car seat! We originally had a Graco 4ever seat for our oldest, and switched to this after the birth of our twins. This makes it possible to have 3 kids in the back of our Honda Cr-V, and no one is cramped or uncomfortable. We recently used this car seat on an airplane, and navigating the plane with a toddler and this seat was as easy as that could be haha! Would buy again, and would recommend this to all parents.

My 4 year old and 2 year old love these. The harness is easy and smooth to tighten.

I hate this car seat. Based on the product description it seemed like it would be easy to install, but it was the opposite. When it’s in rear-facing mode it’s so long that I can’t put my front seat back very far. It also just doesn’t seem super safe for younger kids without any sort of padding/protection on each side.

It's a great seat, easy to manage getting the baby in and out. However, the initial installation of the seat took forever. My usually handy husband installed other car seats in less than five minutes, this took over an hour. It's just a bit tricky and can be frustrating initially.

I got this for my husbands jeep and I have a hard time getting comfortable even with the extra lift we bought. Its notoriously heavy and my son doesnt seem to like it as much as our Nuna Rava. I will probably end up getting another Rava.

Love this seat for everyday running around town. We don’t use it for road trips because my three year old needs the headrest when he falls asleep. We bought the 3xrt model and are very happy with that for longer rides.

Great carseat. Fits nicely and gives room for someone to squeeze by for the third row seat. Our daughter loves facing front and having her own cupholder.

I love these. We have 4 now and they are the best fitting seats! They are so sleek and simple to buckle! I had 3 across easily in my Subaru Outback and now they make getting around them so easy in my Yukon XL. My kids are so much happier in these than the more bulky seats we’ve had.

These are great. They have a slim profile and can be folded and worn as a backpack (with straps sold separately). This will make it easy to fly, use on the plane, and use in the car when we get to our destination.

We love our Diono carseat! My husband & son were in an accident driving 70 mph. My 3 year old was in Diono on the side that the window was shattered and door was smashed in. My son walked out of the vehicle completely untouched. This is our third seat purchase (2 for 2 vehicles and 1 for replacement from accident). We won't purchase another brand! The material is very easy to remove for cleaning and replace when finished.

We love these seats. We purchased two to fit in the back of a BMW and there’s room for an almost 13 year old too. These seats are easy to install, once you find the hidden book. It’s inside the fabric shell in a pocket on the backside. No complaints and I love the high weight/height limits! We will gladly use these for years to come! Shipping was fast and prices were great!

I like the car seat you buy it . We had trouble finding a car seat that would work with our Ford airbag seat belts. We looked everywhere to see what would work with our car. I finally called a local baby store and they said this brand would work with the car seat belts. It does take up a little too much room rear facing though but I would still purchase it again.

This car seat is amazing!! We own 4 (2 in each car) and we bought 4 for the grandmas! We’ve tried tons of car seats and this is our all time favorite. It’s easy to get in and out, easy to buckle and unbuckle. The straps don’t get tangled, and it’s heavy duty so it doesn’t feel flimsy or wobble around. Highly recommend!!

This seat is made with metal so it is very heavy. It is the most solid seat I have ever seen. Also because it is So much narrower than most seats you can fit three across easily in the back seat of my Nissan Pathfinder. It is very easy to take apart and clean completely, easy to adjust and in my opinion the most practical seat I have ever used. I will keep my kids in it and can until they are ready to be in the regular car seats.

This is our 3rd Diono and the first time for the Diono Radian 3R. We are using it with our 3 year old because she didn't need the infant support from the RX one. So far we are just as pleased with it as our other purchases. Thanks to albee baby for great prices and easy shopping as well. You feel like your children or grandchildren in our case will be very safe with these carseats. However, they are not ones you change or move around all the time. They are too heavy for that. We put them in our cars and just don't move them very often. We make sure to have at least one in each car.

Great carseat. Heavy and sturdy. My son seems to be more comfortable in this seat than in his other as he has more space to spread his legs since the sides do not come up as high. It was also easier to install than our other carseat. I plan to purchase another one for Grandma's car.

Bought this car seat for my 4yo, he seems to like it very much but not so much for me. I have to reinstall the carseat to remove the cover for wash, or to adjust the harness. It's kind of heavy labor considering the heavy steel frame of the carseat.
