The second weekend using it, on another roadtrip, we set up the SensorSafe function, too, connecting it to the car's computer and downloading the SensorSafe app so we could connect the seat to a smartphone. That was all pretty seamless, the hardest part being to find the jack for the piece that connects to the car's computer. From there, the seat connected to the car and then to a phone easily. Now, there's a chiming sound when the car turns off if the seat is buckled, reminding us that baby is still buckled in, and, once he's old enough to figure out how to unbuckle himself, it'll warn us about that too, which will be great. The app also shares the temperature in the area immediately around the seat. We're very much looking forward to using this for years to come, from the rear-facing seat we currently have it installed as, to front-facing and then converting it to work as a booster.

I feel much more at ease with my son safely secured in this car seat, as opposed to the other seat we had prior. And he just always looks so incredibly happy in his new car seat! This carseat is amazing! My toddler loves it and she has always hating getting into the carseat. The headrest is very comfortable for her and she sleeps well in it. I was even able to keep her rear facing longer because of the positioning and extra leg room. Overall it is a wonderfully made car seat with lots of amazing features.

Very sleek and stylish looking. Both of my kids fight over who gets to sit in it as they find it very comfortable. Only 4 stars for me because installation was a little difficult and the sensor chest clip is very stiff and hard to release. Hoping it gets better the more we use it.

Easy to put into different recline positions with guide on side. Head rest also has a recline option. 3. No re-thread height adjustment for head support. Head rest is also the easiest I've used to lift up and down, with the dual button and top and bottom which means you don't have to struggle to get it into position. 4. Fairly easy cover removal. Bottom is clipped in with 3 tabs- these easily pop out once cover is pulled all the way down and then just gently pull plastic seat apart a tiny bit. 5. Nice fabric with good padding. 6. Smart sensor clip to remind you the kid is in the back. 7. A true birth to big kid seat- the booster option allows you to thread a car seat belt easily through the guide at the top- allowing car seat to be used to 120 pounds. 8. Built in storage for straps- both back tether and anchor clips. 9. Fit well in a 2014 rouge and leaf including rear facing. Disadvantages: 1. Hard to install using the lower anchor clips, especially in a rear facing position- it took two adults using strength to push the seat down while pulling the straps to install it tight enough- if this car seat had the easy two-step tightening system I'd give it 100%. It is a very nice seat with soft material. It looks and fits great in my compact suv. Installation was pretty easy just followed the instructions. There will be no more babies getting left in hot vehicles thanks to the Sensor Safe feature. The head rest tilts back for an open airway for babies. It is mind blowing all the thought and safety that was put into this car seat! We travel long distances a lot and thanks to this seat I can travel with peace of mind that by baby is safe and sound. All in all this is a top notch car seat with features out the wazoo. It is worth every penny you spend on it! We love ours!!

There is plenty of space for the front passenger seat even with the rear-facing recline position, though if he were reclined more it might become an issue. The material of the seat has a nice feel to it and the shoulder strap covers are thin, but very comfortable. The cover is machine washable, but I'll admit that I won't be too excited if we have to disassemble & reassemble everything if we have a reason to clean it. We have a Cybex infant seat and had to machine wash the cover once and I could never get it fitting tight around the edges again, so I fear that might be the case with this one, too! Again, I hope I never have to find out but with a toddler it is probably inevitable! Let's hope it's as easy as the manual makes it seem! We haven't made any road trips with it yet, but my son has found it cozy enough to take short naps on car rides home in it. I like that it sits lower in the car (our previous seat sat way up high), so it's easy to get him in and out without worrying about hitting his head on the ceiling of the car. Absolutely love this car seat!! When I first received it I had a hard time locating the anchors for foreword facing, but was able to find them with the help of the manual. I love how the head part can recline for when my son falls asleep his head isn't falling foreword! The advance technology is amazing your able to download an app and it tells you when the chest clip is connected and the temperature in your car. The only down fall to this car seat is the light colored fabric, I wish it was a bit darker.
