We had an issue with our first Sirona S but after contacting customer service, we were sent a brand new car seat at no additional cost and it solved the problem and operated better than the first one we had. It is tricky to install correctly, but worth it for us! We love the swivel, it makes it so much easier to get a cranky toddler strapped in, especially in a smaller SUV (2018 Jeep Compass). It is quite big, especially when rear facing, but we appreciate the versatility and the ease of changing the recline.

If you have a day to waste for installing this item then buy it. I followed instructions and the YouTube video and it's still not secure enough. It moves too much & I don't know why. I regret this purchase. The maxi cosi is detachable, secure and far less complicated! I can't easily move the cybex to any car because it so heavy!! I don't feel like my child is safe in this car seat! I only like the swivel feature that allows me to remove my child in and out of the seat easily. Just disappointed.

Love the features, the fabric, the look, and it seems like it's really comfortable. The problem is its size, it just barely fits in my car (a Kia Soul, not a tiny car)--I had to move it from behind the driver's seat to the passenger side so that I could put the seat back safely and now my passenger side is pretty squished. I read reviews that this was a concern in small cars but really it seems like it will only fit comfortably rear-facing in a very large vehicle.

Ok, if this car seat existed when we needed an infant car seat for our 5.5 pound preemie, I would have 100% gone with this option. At the time, I didn't know convertible car seats of this caliber existed. My absolute favorite feature is the SensorSafe chest buckle. Our previous infant car seat claimed to have breathable fabric, but every time I'd take baby out in the summer she'd be sweating despite my best efforts to keep the cabin temperature at a safe, comfortable range. I really appreciate the thought put into SensorSafe, telling me on my phone if baby is too hot or cold, has unbuckled themselves while we're moving, and I *love* that it monitors if the child has been left in the seat after the vehicle has been turned off! In my first months as a new mom, with fluctuating hormones and fears, I would have really appreciated a peace of mind feature such as this. The design also offers ease of adjustment to recline or not, which just makes life easier. We all know how difficult some seats can be to adjust from position to position, and I am in awe and I love with the swivel feature of this seat! We will have two children soon, and I've been really concerned with having to move the eldest to a rear side passenger position. The linear side impact protection devices give me a lot more peace of mind there. And we all know that the crotch buckles never stay in those pocket things so whoever designed a magnetic solution to keep these out of the way is a genius! The seat is easy to clean; we had a wash need on day three of use so we had to learn how to take this apart quickly. Easy. They really thought of everything. Cup hold being independent of the seat was also a super smart design choice. Also makes it easy to clean than a stationary cup holder. Cherry on top: our toddler is comfy and never overly hot when coming out. Falls asleep quickly and her neck is in a safe position at the recommended recline position for rear-facing. These are pricey seats, yes. Worth it, yes! When you look at all the safety AND convenience features in one package, and add up the cost of comparable infant seats offering the same safety features plus a second seat for when they outgrow that, it's about the same as just having one really incredible car seat like this one. We are seriously impressed and buying another for our second vehicle. Thank you so much to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for offering this seat to us to test out!

I was SO excited to receive this product from Stellar Reviews panel. I have a back injury and hunching over to get my daughter into her car seat has been such a nightmare for me. The swivel is amazing and so genius - I honestly don't know how I lived without it! My daughter seems to like the car seat as well. She seems comfortable and has fallen asleep in it a few times. I ultimately had to take off 2 stars for this car seat for the installation though. While myself and my husband could not be more pleased with the final product - we had the hardest time with the installation and even gave up the first few times we attempted to install it. My husband is incredibly handy and it was shocking to see him struggle with it. We eventually turned to youtube and got it right on our third attempt but I do wish the directions it came with were more user friendly.

Our family has recently grown from 4 to 5 children and we are constantly looking to update our all in one car seats. So when Stellar Product Testing Panel gave us the opportunity to try the Cybex Sirona S SensorSafe Convertible Car Seat, we said an enthusiastic YES! After trying out this amazing product we still have a resounding yes to all of the safety features and convenience of this car seat. For installation, I was a little nervous that the preferred method of installation was to use the shoulder/lap belt as opposed to the LATCH system. But a stickler for following the rules, I installed with the shoulder/lap belt and immediately saw why this was the preferred method. The belt tensioner with EasyLock made tightening a cinch, without the full body weighted pressure with tightening of straps on either side of the car seat that accompanies using the LATCH system. I was so impressed by how easy this part of the installation was, as it is usually my least favorite part. Also I have never had a car seat that used a load leg before but like the added safety it gives to the seat and that it enables the convenience of allowing the seat to spin. Making sure the load leg was extended properly and in the green was also very simple, just make sure to pull it all the way out until you hear a click (this will be greater than a 90 degree angle). I cannot say enough about the convenience of the 360 spin of the seat. Makes putting baby in and taking baby out a dream! The reclining button was easy to maneuver and the definitive click when the seat was in the appropriate position allowed me to operate this seat with confidence. The easy to read level indicator on the side of the car seat makes a quick habit out of checking each time you swivel it into place. The comfort of the car seat was also beyond my expectations as baby was not only very safe but also cozy. Lastly, I really enjoy the SensorSafe function of this seat. I was a little nervous about installing this in my minivan, as the warnings say that it can make some of the electronic functions in your car go haywire. But I am happy to report that this was not the case! Thus far my favorite part of using the Sensor app on my phone is the temperature function. I'm always concerned about whether baby is too warm or too cold and now I can simply look at the temperature and know for sure. Also if something happens that is out of my control the app will also alert me if baby is too warm or too cold. Just perfect! All in all we couldn't be more impressed with the Cybex Sirona S SensorSafe Convertible Car Seat and thank Stellar Parent Testing Panel for giving us the opportunity to try out such an awesome product.

I received the CYBEX Sirona S car seat from the Stellar Testing Panel for my honest review. I wanted to love this seat. It has so many nice features - the 360 degree rotation, full adjustability while child is buckled in the seat, SensorSafe technology, and comfortable quality fabric and cushioning. It also has panels to hide the rear tether strap and the belt path for the base. First off - the positives - this entire seat is made of high quality material. Both my 3-year old and 3-month old seemed to be comfortable seated in it. It also has the best buckling system I have ever used. They work smoothly, and it is easy to get the harness properly tightened. The 360 swivel function also worked smoothly for me, and my 3-year old liked going for a "ride" in it. My favorite feature of all is that you can adjust the height of the harness and recline of the seat all while your child is buckled in. If you have all rear facing children, you could use this seat for multiple kids and just a quick adjustment would have you ready to go with a different sized child in seconds. It would be a little more time consuming with forward facing, as you still need to hook in the rear tether but nothing too tedious. The SensorSafe technology was easy to set up. Found the port in my car, plugged it in, downloaded the app, and it took less than a minute in the app to get it up and running. For the cons - due to the incorporated base and load leg, this seat is heavy and cumbersome to get in and out of your vehicle. This seat is meant for someone who wants to install their seat once and leave it. I would not recommend moving this from car to car with any sort of frequency. The latch system is a unique one I have not seen before - it has handy pull loops for easy removal, but I could not get this installed tightly enough using latch to be comfortable using it. Installing with seatbelt was slightly easier but still the most difficult car seat install I have ever attempted. I am not sure if it is because of the extra bulk with the rotating base, but the seat was very wobbly at the head of the seat when in rear facing mode. I like that there is a tensioner to help get a proper snug install, but I found it nearly impossible to get this seat installed tight enough to be comfortable transporting my children in rear-facing mode. Seated forward facing, with rear tether in place, I was able to get a nice secure fit. Given the incredibly difficult install, I would recommend this seat if you are planning to install your seat once and leave it in your vehicle. Also, I would encourage getting help from a trained car seat technician. That said, my 3-year old loves riding in this seat forward-facing. It is comfortable, we can move the cup holder to whatever side is preferred, and the side impact guards are a nice extra safety feature. I love that I can adjust the seat height and recline without uninstalling it or taking my child out of the seat. Thank you, Stellar, for providing me the opportunity to review this seat!

I received the CYBEX Sirona S with SensorSafe as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was thrilled to receive it to try with my daughter who is 1.5. My first impression of this carseat is that it is first class in style and in features. From the durable neutral colored fabric that was smooth on my little ladies sensitive skin to the innovative swivel design feature making for easier transition when on the go... I was hooked! The swivel feature of the carseat was a feature that I never knew I needed and one that I now can't live without! With a squirmy toddler, anything to make on the go easier and less of a workout is well worth the extra cost! I found that this feature allowed me an additional connection with my daughter as we were able to have direct, unobstructed eye contact before departing for our destination. Life is busy and every additional connection counts! I found that the installation of this carseat was quite seamless. The instructional guide helped me feel well-equipped and confident in creating a secure and safe fit in my vehicle. I also like the additional safety feature of the anchor leg that is placed at the foot of your vehicle to provide even more stability in the case of an accident. Peace of mind is priceless. The Sensorsafe app was a feature that is nice to offer, but not one that I used consistently. It is another feature, however, that does create another sense of security for the adult that wants this additional comfort. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with this product and would definitely recommend this to other parents in the market for a versatile carseat that has all the bells and whistles.

First, this seat is really nice looking and sleek. Second, it swivels all the way around the base! I so wish I had had this when my kids were newborns, but still so helpful with my 2 year old. It's sometimes difficult getting her in and out of her old carseat, but this seat...just blew me away.. so much easier! It also has extra safety features, like a load leg on the front (just be sure your vehicle has clearance for that behind the front seat), and extra side impact protectors. And what's really cool, and I'm so glad to see this sort of feature on a carseat, is the sensor safe chest clip that has an app for your phone. It will tell you when your child unclips the chest clip and beeps when you turn off the car to alert you that your child is in the seat. For those of you who have a little baby and are rear facing, when it's time to go forward all you have to do is swivel the seat around...so.much.easier.and.faster. I really love this carseat, I only wish it could last beyond 65 lbs and convert to a booster, but I understand why with the design. I am using this with my rear-facing 2.5 year old and absolutely LOVE the rotation feature! It makes getting her in and out of the car so, so much easier than her previous convertible seat. No more bumped toddler head or cranking my arm to tighten her harness! The straps move very smoothly and there are magnets on the side of the seat to keep the buckle clips out of the way while loading the child. I like the load leg and anti-rebound design as additional safety features to keep my babe as protected as possible in a crash. We have the Indigo Blue color and it is beautiful, with good quality fabric and padding. I think the crotch buckle pad is a little too short (it comes out frequently, but is easy to replace). I have washed the cover once already and it washed wonderfully and is fairly easy to remove and put back on the seat. Other features that I love include the ease of adjusting the recline, the Linear Side Impact Protection, the no-rethread harness, removable cup holder, and rear-facing weight limit. I am a firm believer in rear facing as long as possible, and this seat lets me go to 50 lbs, ten more than our previous one! I like the idea behind the SensorSafe chest clip, but have not found the app to be particularly helpful. I was regularly getting alerts that my child was too hot, when she had AC blowing directly on her and was able to tell me she was comfortable. I live in a very warm southern state, so I think the temperature sensing technology just isn't quite right. The app is very quick to alert you if you walk away from the child and the child is still in the seat. I left my daughter in her seat while I ran to my mailbox at the end of the drive, and got an alert to return to my vehicle immediately, as the child was left in the car. I do think this is a fantastic safety feature and would love to see this alarm-type feature expanded in the car seat market. I also like that it alerts you when the chest clip is undone, in case you have an escape artist on your hands. Ultimately, if you allow the app to run in the background, as is needed for full, automatic functionality, it uses a fair bit of phone battery. However, you can always open the app when you get in the car, and it immediately connects and begins to work. My biggest dislike about this seat, and the reason I could not rate it 5 stars, is that I do not feel like the install is as rock solid as I had with my previous seat. We installed it 4 separate times (after fully reading the manual) and had a CPST check it over. The seat does not move more than one inch in any direction at the belt path, as per directions, but the forward part of the seat (the part nearest the load leg) wobbles a lot. This happens in both the rear-facing and forward-facing configurations. If the load leg is extended too long, it lifts the base of the Sirona S up off of the car's seat. When working with the CPST, what we found that made it the most stable was to pull the load leg forward slightly (towards the driver's seat). This seemed to lock it in place better and there is less side to side motion. Once we made that adjustment, I have loved using this car seat and my daughter is always asking to ride in her new seat. Honestly, this car seat is the perfect solution to our adventure car problem. We have a Honda Element, which we use for all our many outdoor adventures. It has backseats that are recessed from the side door entry (see photo- and please excuse our dirty car). It made putting a kid in a carseat almost virtually impossible without coming in from the back and breaking your body in half to do so with a squirming toddler was never going to be worth it. We had all but given up the idea of being able to put our 15 month old in both of our cars (and most importantly, the car we usually take camping). Because of the swivel design of this seat, we can now do what was previously impossible! It's perfect! Not to mention it's a comfy seat with easy to clean fabric and is super safe. This is the best car seat you can buy! Our 1 year old daughter loves it and is always super comfortable. The swivel feature is also really convenient when you're in a tight spot and don't want to struggle to put your baby in sideways. One of the most surprising features is the magnetic belt holders. We have a lot of car seats and most of them have tiny slots to stick the metal belt clips into, to keep them out of the way when putting your baby in. While the belt holders on other seats typically let them fall out within a few seconds, the magnetic clips on the seat are really strong, and really convenient because they are so easy to access. I also really like the reclining features. Our other seats are really hard to adjust, whereas this seat can easily recline up and down, and even rotate as needed. The app and voice notifications are also great. Although most notifications are obvious (the baby is clipped in, the temperature is too high/low, etc) it is still reassuring to have confirmation that your baby is secure. The only challenge I had with this seat is that it did not fit properly with the angle of the seat in my 2021 Rav4 Hybrid. I think the Hybrid's clips stick out further than other cars, so the built-in belt buckle wouldn't tighten enough, and it would block me from putting the cover back over it. Instead, I used the seat belt installation method, and this worked great! I received this as part of the Stellar product testing panel.

I was lucky enough to receive this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My 18 month old has absolutely hated the car since birth, screaming literally every minute that she is strapped into a car seat. When she was about 4 months old we switched from an infant car seat to a convertible car seat hoping that would make the difference. It didn't, so we accepted car rides would just be miserable. I was thrilled at the news I'd be receiving this car seat because if the feature that allows me to rotate the seat to be able to get my fighting child into the car seat more easily and safely. This feature is amazing. What I didn't expect to have happen is that my child no longer cries in the car. She spends car rides now almost completely happy! This car seat must be so comfy! This car seat is on the larger side, so someone hoping to fit multiple car seats across will be better off with a larger vehicle but installation was easy and the car seat installs snug. Definitely recommend this car seat!

I love the tilt feature to turn the seat especially when my little one is asleep! The seat is so comfortable and my little one loves being in it! The app is so easy to use and the sensor feature is amazing! I live in Arizona so having the security of the sensor is a huge safety feature all car seats should be required to have! My favorite feature is definitely the swivel and sensor! Getting kids out of reverse car seats is always a pain but this makes it so easy and convenient! I am so grateful I was able to test out this seat and I am now a forever buyer of cybex car seats! It's also so easy to buckle and my little one loves the cup holders. Worth the money !

When we welcomed our third boy in August, we suddenly found ourselves with an extremely challenging car seat arrangement. We have an extremely tall 4-year-old, a two-year-old, and a 10 week old. As firm believers in maxing out rear-facing limits for all of our kids, we have all three boys rear-facing. We have had to borrow a Suburban to make this happen, but even so, I've been climbing in and out the trunk with my 4-year-old to get him over the back seat and safely harnessed. I had started to accept that I would continue to look ridiculous and take up time in the preschool drop-off and pickup lines. Enter the Cybex Sirona S, which we were fortunate enough to receive as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for our honest review. This seat safely rotates 360° on a fixed base that lets you put your child in the seat in any position you want and then rotate and recline them into the appropriate position. This is game-changing. You'd think this would be an ordeal, but all of the adjustments can be done one-handedly and with ease. After practicing for a few minutes it was second nature. A side indicator gives you confirmation that the seat is in an appropriate recline for the position you are using. I was definitely nervous installing this the first time and made the initial attempt in my smaller SUV to get the hang of the seatbelt install. However, it was a painless process thanks to a very clear manual that even instructs on how to check your install. The best part of the install is that if you change your child from rear to forward-facing, or have multiple kids, you don't have to do the base install again and can simply spin the seat and adjust the recline. We've now installed this in the 3rd row of the Suburban. I can get in through the second row, place my 2-year-old in the seat facing forward and spin him back around easily! It's just so civilized in comparison to climbing through cargo space and navigating around strollers and groceries. As a family that takes multiple 8+ hour car trips per year, we love that the seat has the luxurious fabric and memory foam feel that will cut way back on the comfort complaints we tend to get from our boys. The seat also features Sensor-Safe tech in the harness. This alerts you if you leave a child behind in the car and reminds you to take your child out of the seat every two hours on those longer trips. The app set up for this was pretty easy (you do have to find the appropriate receptacle for the dongle but google helped), and it immediately alerted me that it was really cold out and to check the child was warm enough. In summary, this innovative seat solves a rather annoying problem for our family. The easy spinning feature, luxe construction, comfort, and safety tech make this seat well worth the price. It's suitable for all three of our children with minimal adjustment and it could easily be the only seat a child needs from birth AND allows for extended rear-facing. We love this seat!

From the moment I took the Cybex Sirona S out of the box, I knew it was an innovative, high quality car seat. The seat is heavy, but with the 360 rotation feature, it's possible to only install the car seat one time. Installation was easy with very little manipulating the seat belt to make sure the seat is in tight. You thread the seat belt (or anchor belt) through a path and lock the belt in with the EasyLock bar to ensure that the seat is installed tight enough. The 360 rotation is one of the most innovative features of this seat! Not only do I love it, but my toddler loves it as well. It makes getting her in and out very simple, no more crawling into the vehicle and hovering over the seat to unbuckle! She thinks it's so fun to spin to the side and to the back. It's really easy to recline the seat into the proper position, and it's possible to recline a bit more if your child is tired, which eliminates their head falling forward (this is in the rear facing position). It's also super simple to rotate the seat one-handed. The seat material is cushiony and appears to be comfortable. The seatbelt in the seat is soft and the shoulder pads are snapped on instead of velcro like many other car seats. They also aren't bulky, which my toddler must like because she doesn't mind the shoulder pads being on. The seat offers a no rethread harness and an adjustable crotch strap (one of my favorite features), so you truly have no reason to uninstall the car seat once it's in. Now to the safety features! First, the seat just feels safe and you can tell the construction is high quality. There is an arrow on the base for the overhang indicator, so you never have to worry if your seat is ok to install on the seat. The chest clip has an imprint on it to remind you to place it at armpit level. There is a load leg that helps stabilize the car seat in a crash. Guesswork is taken out of installation with the load leg, there are indicators when it has enough tension. I also enjoy the linear side-impact protection that you pop out on the side where your child is nearest to the window. It just adds another layer of protection and makes me feel more comfortable about her safety in the event that we would be involved in a crash. Then there is SensorSafe. SensorSafe is built into the chest clip and it communicates via Bluetooth with a receiver that is plugged into the vehicle and your smartphone. It was really simple to set up. It alerts you when the chest clip is unbuckled and shows the temperature of the car. I haven't been on a long trip, but it will alert you when it's time to take a break and get out of the car seat. It also alerts you if you walk away from the car with your child still buckled into the seat. After 3 minutes, it will alert your family group that a child is still in the seat. One last mention is the removable cup holder. It is easy to put on whichever side you want and it stays on. I own another brand that comes with a removable cup holder and it is always popping off, so I was initially worried about having another seat with a removable cup holder. I absolutely love the CYBEX Sirona S with SensorSafe caraway. I typically have to wrestle my one year old to get her buckled in the car. The 360° rotation makes putting my baby in the car seat a breeze. I love that I can strap her in without having to climb in the backseat myself. This car seat seems to have more safety features than a typical car seat. There is an panel that pops out if the car seat is installed by the door to give extra protection. The SensorSafe technology was easy to install and set up. The app shows when the seat is buckled, unbuckled and temperature. It will also notify you if your baby is left in the car. I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We are using this for our almost 3-year old son. For that reason, the 360 degree feature is not necessarily a HUGE help, because our son can climb into his carseat normally, but can't really do that with the seat swiveled out. However, this would be a tremendous help with a younger toddler, and especially with a baby. So I would say for those expecting, or for those with children under 2.5 or so, this feature would be super helpful. It was a bit tricky to install, but I think all carseats are that way until you've done it a handful of times and gain confidence. However, the app really helps you know whether or not the carseat is secure. So that's an amazing feature! I love the cushioning and the design - it seems very comfortable. We're so excited to continue using it!

This convertible carseat is sleek and and stylish, is much easier to install than it looks, and thanks to the 360 degree rotation, your kid will be easier to install, too! I received this car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I was immediately excited about the swivel feature. It makes getting your kid in and out of the seat such a breeze. No more struggling with a wiggling 8 month old! I love having the seat face me to buckle the baby in. Once you have your kiddo settled, rotating the seat to rear facing can be done easily with one hand. Even my 3 year old can turn his sister's seat around, which is not as disruptive as it sounds. Because the seat turns completely around, you only have to install it once and it will switch from rear facing to forward facing. There are several options for installation including so you can find what works best for your kid and vehicle. The safety features on this car seat are pretty amazing. There's a high back anti rebound feature, additional side impact protection, and the SensorSafe system to protect baby. The SensorSafe harness clip works with a phone app to prevent hot car deaths, which just provides such peace of mind. I inadvertently got the chance to test it out when I left my baby in the car (with my husband with the car running) to run in and pickup lunch. Because it works on proximity to your phone, it's to possible to trick the sensor, or alternatively the potential for human error to cause a sensor failure, which is something important to keep in mind. The SensorSafe app is easy to set up. The hardest part for me was finding the port to plug in the dongle, which is a my car problem more than anything else, but once that was in, everything was good to go. The seat has a soft and cushy cover which can come off to be washed, it looks beautiful, it has an infant insert for the littlest ones, and there's cupholder for the older kiddos who need their drinks and snacks on the go. There are magnetic buckle holders in the side of the seat so you don't have to dig them out from under your kiddo to get settled in the carseat. One of the magnets is stronger than the other in my seat and only one buckle holds well. That's really the only problem I've had at all with the seat, and it's pretty easy to work around. Overall, I've been really impressed with the Sirona. I can understand why it's recieved awards and is at or near the top of best of lists online. I recommend it to anyone in the market for a convertible carseat!

I had admired the 360 rotating car seats while car seat shopping but ultimately purchased another popular extended rear facing non-rotating convertible car seat due to price. However, now that I have had the opportunity to try the CYBEX Sirona S thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel I realize that settling for a more traditional car seat was a big mistake. While getting my smaller baby in the stationary seat was easy enough (she was very cooperative going into the car), once she hit the 2-years-old mark her weight started making it really difficult to get her in and out and no one wants to negotiate with a 2-year-old about putting themselves all the way in the seat every single time. The Sirona S has been a complete game changer solving this problem. Being able to spin the seat makes it exponentially easier to get my daughter in and out. I also feel like I can ensure a better strap fit every time because I can completely see what I am doing. Other features such as the angle of the strap release being impossible for my daughter to reach and the sensor safe alerting me if she unbuckles herself are great for my peace of mind as well. Also comforting is the extra side impact protection in the event that we have to use the car seat next to a car door. While I didn't seek a load leg while car seat shopping, I really like this one and feel like it adds to the sturdiness of the seat. Even when empty I don't see or hear any movement from the seat while the car is in motion. The magnets to hold the straps are a bit of a disappointment as they are small and high up and the top buckle always gets in the way so I don't end up using them, but I like the idea of them. I hope CYBEX makes the magnets larger or adjustable in the future, but it's easy enough to just rest the straps over the sides of the car seat instead. I installed the Sirona S in the middle seat of my Mazda CX-5 with my fingers crossed because it is notoriously difficult to find rear facing convertible car seats that can fit this car well due to the narrow back seat. I was blown away that I not only have room to install it rear facing, but I can also recline my daughter quite a bit more than I could in the original car seat. However, the front seat riders would need to be quite short to use it in a side seat position rather than in the middle. My first time installing the seat was more challenging than usual; it took probably 2-3 times longer than my former car seat the first time. However, after figuring out the best installation for my car that first time it has been simple to reinstall every time since and all of the benefits of the seat are well worth the initial challenge. Definitely use both the installation videos on YouTube (as they are easier to follow than the manual) in conjunction with the manual (as the videos don't include all of the required information for a safe install.) I wish you could set the recline to your favorite spot and have it return to that recline automatically after spinning back into place rather than having to find the recline manually and check the recline indicator each time. However, it's also nice to be able to really simply adjust the recline amount while spinning the seat back into place custom each time (such as more upright when they are wide awake and more reclined when you're hoping for a nap on the ride). The best part? My daughter is all smiles in this car seat. She loves the spin (she holds her legs up and says "wee!"), putting her feet in the plastic base (which I prefer over her feet on the car fabric), and she says it's very comfortable. When I tested the cushion myself I can see why; you can feel the plastic through the cushion of our former car seat with very minimal pressure whereas I only feel cushion on the Sirona. So, all in all, I whole-heartedly recommend this seat. Yes, it's more expensive, but you absolutely get what you pay for.

This car seat is really nice and has some very cool features. The 360 degree rotation is awesome if your child is in the rear-facing position. It makes it SO much easier to get babies and small toddlers in and out of the car. Unfortunately, in the forward-facing position the car seat needs to be anchored with the anchor strap which makes the rotation feature unusable. The car seat is nice enough otherwise, and by the time my toddler was big enough to be forward-facing it was easier to get her in and out, that it wasn't a big deal for us. But it's definitely something to note if you're considering buying it solely for the 360 rotation feature. I really like the SensorSafe technology! We live in the south where the summers get very hot, so the fear of someone accidentally forgetting one of my kids in the car is always in the back of my mind. This feature provides peace of mind that we'd be reminded if that were the case. The feature is easy to install and the app is easy to use. I read some other reviews that the car seat was difficult to install, which I didn't personally find to be true. The load leg is something I hadn't encountered before but the instructions were clear and it was pretty easy to figure out. Otherwise the installation was similar to other. convertible carseats. I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I actually love it. When we were first looking for a convertible car seat for our toddler, I thought that a rotating seat was an extreme luxury but I was so wrong! My boy hates being put in car seats and now that we have this one, it is 1,000 times easier to get him in it. Since the seat rotates, I don't have to wrestle him into his seat sideways but I can just pick him up and sit him down directly facing me. He also loves it when we rotate the seat back into position because he giggles every time we do it and cheers. This seat is so convenient and easy to use I'm honestly so happy with it. Having the SensorSafe app with it also gives me piece of mind now that my son really likes pushing buttons. I was a little afraid he would eventually unbuckle his seat and we wouldn't notice but with the app, I get an alert when he is buckled and unbuckled.

I've had at least 3 children in carseats since 2013, so I was excited to receive this carseat. The features seemed innovative and unique, and I was hoping this carseat would make things more convenient. For our family, however, this carseat was not a great fit. When I looked at how much this carseat costs, I was shocked! Aside from the generous padding, it doesn't seem that much better than other convertible car seats I have used. Positives -VERY well padded, material seems like it would be easy to clean. -The look/color (I had the navy blue) is high-end. -I would have loved the 360 degree swivel when my kids were little. Negatives: -The stabilizing leg takes up a lot of space in the van. -The seatbelt sensor seems like a relatively unnecessary feature to me--a carseat buckle should be made so that a child can't unbuckle themselves. -Based on the design, I was expecting this carseat to be easy to install, but it was not. It was very difficult to get a tight fit with the latch system, and the stabilizing leg complicated things. -I was intrigued by the "wings" on the side that were supposed to add side impact protection. But I discovered that this seat isn't exactly a stand-out in crash tests. -The shell seems to be on the shorter side, meaning that for taller children, there will be a limit to how long they are able to ride in it. Overall, the high price on this carseat seems to be for the brand name and the aesthetics, and possibly the sensor. The other features of this carseat are not noticeably superior to the other convertible carseats I have used. This seems to be ideal for a family that is fitting one child in the back of a large car. It is so large that no matter how it is installed, it takes up room that you need for other kids to climb into and around the car. Paired with its average performance on crash tests, you're probably better off saving some money and choosing a seat with slightly simpler features. I am currently pregnant and incur enough pregnancy related aches and pains, without having to deal with the struggle of loading and unloading my chunky toddler in and out of her car seat. Pros: the 360° rotation is the ultimate in convenience! I can easily get my toddler into and out of her seat, and then rotate her back into position. Install is one and done! When she is ready to forward face I will simply spin her in that direction and not have to reinstall the whole car seat. The load leg offers additional protection, as does the linear side impact protection, and anti rebound design while rear facing. The plush fabric is so comfortable. Talk about luxury! My daughter is newly potty trained and had an accident the first time I put her in the seat. The fabric was easy to remove, wash, line dry, and reinsert. No unbuckling the entire seat and lugging the whole thing inside to try and figure out how in the heck to reattach it all after washing! The SensorSafe technology was the cherry on top. Install an app on your phone and it sends notifications when the seat is buckled or unbuckled, and if the temperature gets too cold/hot. My husband was driving and dropped me off at a store, and when I left the car I got a notification that my girl was still in her seat. Very reassuring for the parent that leaves their child with a caregiver and worries they may forget their child in the car! Cons: initial install was a bit tricky. I felt like I wasn't getting the seat in tight enough and like there was too much wiggle. Pricey. Not for someone on a tight budget or not particularly into the bells and whistles. Heavy. I am totally fine with the weight as this will stay in my car, but if you're planning on switching back and forth between cars, you may have a bit of a challenge. Though I struggled with initial install even after reading the manual, watching the installation video on the CYBEX site really helped me get a grasp on it. They also offer a live install video call if you need additional assistance, which is impeccable customer service in my opinion! This is the 4th car seat brand we've tried, and top notch in my book!

The Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me this car seat in exchange for my feedback. I was ecstatic to receive this seat and my daughter went nuts when I got it out of the box. She was so excited for a car seat that rotates and still giggles when I spin her to the rear facing position. We both love the indigo blue color. Installation was not the easiest! I first attempted to put the car seat into my small sedan since it was home at the time. I tried both the LATCH system and the seatbelt installation, but I couldn't get either to work. The car seat would still move more than an inch at the belt path. Once the truck got home, I installed it in there with a few minor issues, but the videos and manual helped a ton. I like that they offer live video installation help and I will be reaching out to them to see if they can help with installation in the sedan. All the seat adjustments are super easy to make-tightening/loosening the harness, opening/closing chest clips, buckling/unbuckling crotch buckle, moving the head rest/harness straps, and moving the crotch strap. This is great and would be perfect for Grandma-- since she only takes one kid at a time, she would only need the one seat and just adjust it for whichever kid she has. I love the rotation feature. I leave the car seat rotated towards the door so my daughter can climb into the truck on her own and get situated. I can then fasten and check everything from the ground instead of having to climb into the truck like I had to with our previous seats. I also love that I can rotate and recline the seat with one hand. I didn't realize I was missing magnetic buckle holders in my life until this seat. These might seem like nothing, but before this seat my daughter and I would always have to search for the buckles and she'd get annoyed with me digging around trying to locate them. The safety features are awesome. The L.S.P. is super easy to activate/deactivate depending on location of the seat. The load leg adds stability. The SensorSafe technology is a great feature for peace of mind. The setup was easy. The hardest part was locating the port in the truck! I like that it alerts other family members if needed. My favorite safety feature? The 50-pound weight limit for rear-facing. That is an extra ten pounds compared to previous seats I've owned! I'm a firm believer in keeping them rear facing for as long as possible. I'm glad I won't need to install this car seat often, because other than installation I love this seat!

I was very impressed with all the features of this car seat! The first thing that appealed to me and my family was the SensorSafe technology and app. This car seat is for my third baby and now having the distractions of two other toddlers, it gives me so much peace of mind to know that SensorSafe would alert me if my baby was too hot or if they are still buckled or unbuckled. Several times already this feature has alerted our phones to let us know he was unbuckled or still in the car when it was off. We really enjoy the 360 rotation of this car seat! It makes it so much easier to buckle my child and involves a lot less reaching than I am used to with my other kids. While we love the one time install for the different modes, it was definitely a trick to install in our Volvo XC90. Between making sure the car seat didn't push too far into the front seats and also didn't get in the way of our other two car seats. However, the no re-thread harness along with the magnetic buckle holders are great bonus features! We live in a hot climate and I love that I don't have to worry about hot buckles burning my baby. We definitely feel that this car seat is an overall great purchase and one that will keep our baby safe and happy as he continues to grow! I am so conflicted about this CYBEX Sirona S with SensorSafe car seat. I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I was so excited to receive it. Upon first impression it's a showstopper; the Indigo Blue is so pretty. It's extremely well-made with plush, soft material that my 3-year-old loved. In addition, the comfy cover that covered the crotch snap was a huge hit, and my daughter was really pleased with the comfort of the seat overall. Getting zero complaints from a 3-year-old is a big achievement, so bravo! The rotation feature practically had me drooling--every parent knows the struggle of not bopping your child's head on the ceiling of the car, right? This was the answer to my dreams! The love affair went downhill from there. The chest snap with the SensorSafe is slightly difficult to unclick even for an adult. Not a big deal overall--it just makes me even more confident that my toddler won't Houdini her way out of it, and the SensorSafe system is a nice feature to reassure concerned parents. I have zero issues with the SensorSafe system. For install, using the latch system is limited to under 30lbs for rear facing (we are keeping our toddler rear-facing until she maxes out of the size limits) which is inconvenient, but no big deal as the overall install is made easy with a tensioning mechanism and using the seat belt path instead. The real problem for me lies within the rotation mechanism that I was so excited about. We followed the install directions down to a "t". By the time we were done, the base was rock solid with almost zero movement at the belt path. Even with that install, the car seat itself still shifts noticeably from side-to-side due to the mechanism that enables the rotation. When driving, the seat itself stays level but twists/shifts about 0.5-1" with every turn or abrupt movement. Let me be clear--the base is not the problem, and the seat is fully latched and the rotation lock is "LOCKED"--but the car seat itself can still shift because of how it fits within the rotation mechanism/how the rotation mechanism interfaces with the very sturdy and stable base. I took the time to contact and work with Cybex directly, who confirmed our install was perfect--and that the shifting of the seat within the base is expected behavior and that the car seat is safe to use even with that shifting, but it disconcerted my husband and I quite a bit. If forward-facing, the seat needs to be tethered. Tethering the seat completely eliminates the shifting/wobble issue above but also prevents the rotation feature altogether, unless you're going to un-tether and re-tether every time just to swivel the seat out. Personally, I don't know anyone willing to go to that much trouble for a seat that can rotate but that still can shift/jiggle within the base even when properly installed. Overall, I like the car seat itself, but the above issues make the rotation feature a great idea in concept but a poor idea in execution.

For anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of putting a toddler in a traditional car seat, let me tell you how very challenging it is *on the best of days*. Picking them up (30ish pounds), leaning over, being careful not to bump their head, getting them in the seat and settled and buckled. It's enough to throw your back out. Now try doing it pregnant. When I say the 360 degree rotation of the CYBEX Sirona S is a lifesaver I am not being hyperbolic. It has literally changed our mornings from a painful mess to a simple and safe process. My toddler loves getting in the seat and then rotating around to rear-facing after we buckle her in. And at 6 months pregnant, I love that my back pain has all but disappeared. The other features of the car seat are awesome too. It's super easy to install, love the peace of mind from the app, super comfy, definitely safe. But for me, the swivel capability is the whole ballgame. (And if you have grandparents who help out and drive your kids around, this is definitely a must for them.) Huge thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for introducing me to this amazing car seat. We will definitely be getting another one once baby #2 arrives.

Very pleased with my Sirona S car seat. It was easy to install (watched videos and read manual before installing so I was able to do it quickly without frustration. Also scheduled a call with their car seat tech to make sure it was installed correctly and it was! ;0) My daughter falls asleep in it, my back appreciates I don't have to lean in to put her in the seat. The magnetic holders for the clips are super handy. I would recommend this car seat to anyone looking at a rotating base seat. I was looking at the new even flow and this one definitely is better quality.

We purchased the Cybex Sirona S, last month at Buy Buy Baby. Better than other car seats we've had. The Cybex Sirona S exceeded my expectations in a car seat! From safety, technology, to comfort for my child. It's amazing!

I don't ever write reviews but this is extremely important to all the parents in the world. 2 days ago my daughter and I got hit by someone running a red light at 50mph (15 mph over the speed limit). I had her buckled in the Cybex Sirona S and right where my daughter site is where we got hit. She doesn't have one cut or bruise on her body. I'm fact she has been cleared by both paramedics and the ER that she is perfect okay. She is 11 months old and of course rear facing. This car seat saved my daughter's life. I was told this by 8 cops, 2 doctors, 4 nurses, 2 paramedics, 4 emts, and 6 firefighters. I will never use another car seat again in my life, Cybex will forever be the brand we purchase, it is well worth every penny. If your trying to justify spending the money look at the picture of my car, right where the triangle window is is where my daughter was.... She didn't even get a scratch. I have whip lash, a concussion, my neck and back got strained and bruised. Thank you Cybex for taking the time to make these car seats. I will be getting another one soon!

We purchased this after getting into a new and bigger vehicle (Nissan Armada). Our youngest is 6 months old and was outgrowing her infant seat much quicker than her older sister. I did my research and was determined this was the seat for me! I was able to install it myself with ease and my little one rides much more comfortably! Removing the cover for cleaning (after massive blowout) was super simple!

Wow! You know you're a full-blown MOM when you call a car seat beautiful, but that was my first reaction upon opening the Cybex Eternis. This thing compromises nothing in comfort, safety, or aesthetics. I received the car seat as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and tried it rear-facing as well as forward-facing with the 5 point harness and as a belt-positioning booster (I have a 5 month old, a 2 year old, and a tall 5.5 year old). I was happy with every configuration, so deciding which kid ultimately gets to use it will be the hard part! PROS: 1. The comfort features of the seat blow others I've had out of the water - from the padding to the soft fabric to the tilting headrest, it is lux-ur-i-ous! 2. In safety, the steel frame and Linear Side Protection provide unmatched peace of mind. 3. The denim blue color is gorgeous (more of a silky, rich blue...I'm not sure denim describes it well) and even the tether strap has a cover when it's not being used, making the whole design sleek and appealing. 4. To top it all off, the button/strap to tighten/loosen the belts is the smoothest mechanism I have used and the magnetic buckle holders are genius. CONS: 1. While the mechanisms for adjusting the belts and tilting the headrest felt smooth and well-designed, moving the headrest up and down was more challenging. I liked that the belt path adjusted automatically, but actually sliding the headrest was difficult and felt clunky. 2. I really wish the cover was removable for washing. I'm glad I have a good spot cleaner, but with the incredible longevity of this seat, I would love to be able to give it a good clean periodically! While my kids may not outgrow the seat for 10 years, I'm not sure if they'll be able to avoid spills enough for it to last that long. 3. The seat is heavy and large (both good things for safety and comfort!) and is not ideal for traveling or if you have to move the seat from one car to another regularly. Overall, I would 100% recommend this car seat to someone whose priorities are safety, comfort, and beautiful design.

It can easily converts from back facing to front facing and has many recline options which for me is very important since my toddler constantly falls asleep in the car. One of my favorite things about this carseat is their attention to detail. They've added magnets to the side of the chair to help keep the buckle in place so it doesn't get tangled under your child. The best part of the carseat is the safety features. I know my child will always be safe while riding in it since it alerts me if she is too hot, unbuckles or has been seated too long through its unique sensorsafe technology.
