Great adaptability

There is a lot to like about the Balios S stroller. We got the navy blue, which is similar in color to dark wash jeans. It took us less than 10 minutes to attach the seat and wheels to the frame, and then we were ready to go!
We really like how adaptable this stroller design is. The seat can easily be adjusted to face forwards or towards you. In addition, it can lay almost completely flat, which is great for young infants. For older children, there is a footrest. The handlebar adjusts easily for height, which we appreciate, since my husband is a foot taller than I am, and it makes it comfortable for both of us to take turns pushing the stroller. All of the cloth parts can be removed easily for cleaning. The stroller has a good suspension system and large wheels, so the ride is very smooth. While not lightweight, I didn't have trouble lifting the stroller to place it into the trunk of the car. If you want to move it a little ways before unfolding it, it will roll easily.
A drawback that we faced was getting the stroller handlebar to fold down. Ours seemed to be very stiff out of the packaging, and it took an email to customer service for more detailed instructions, some squirts of WD-40, and some practice to get the handlebar to collapse down. The trick is to slide the button on top of the handlebar to the left while clasping the button underneath and pushing at a 45 degree angle. When you do this, there will be a small "click" and then it will fold down. Don't try to push downwards initially, or you will get nowhere. We also engage the brakes before folding. I don't know how common our difficulty with the handlebar is, since none of the videos we saw demonstrating the stroller indicated it was tricky to fold - we may just have gotten lucky.
