This was my first ever car seat purchase and I was on the lookout for the best. It has truly been a wonderful car seat for our first child who is 2 years old as of today! We haven't run into any issues at all with it. High in price, but I feel that the quality of materials, safety, and peace of mind has been totally worth it! Only other thing I'd mention is how heavy the seat is. If you need something lightweight and portable you're in the wrong place--hope you already know that. I personally have only spot cleaned the seat but have read the washable cover is easy to clean and replace. The merino wool/tencel fabric has worn very well in my opinion. We don't allow food in our little one's carseat 95% of the time so the amount of soiling has been minimal naturally. With as much as our daughter has kicked her legs around I'm pleasantly surprised there's been close to ZERO piling/wearing down of the fabric. Looking forward to getting many more years of use out of this car seat!

Great car seat. It has held up well for the five years we have been using it. Daughter thinks it is comfortable, even on long road trips. Love that it is flame retardant free!

The best car seat I have ever owned. It is built like an absolute tank! Very heavy and sturdy. One of the safest seats on the market. It also allowed me to fit 3 across in my midsize SUV. The fabric is incredible. So easy to wipe down and clean with just a baby wipe. Very happy with this purchase. We have 2 and will be buying a 3rd soon!

I bought this for my 2-year old, hoping to extend rear facing for another year. I’m quite tall (5’11”) so I can’t safely install it behind my seat. On the passenger side, it creates a huge blind spot. This makes taking angled left-hand turns dangerous, and I have to do this daily. Hopefully it’ll be better when forward facing, but I’m wishing I bought another Britax or tried a Nuna Rava.

I’ve purchased more Foonfs than I care to admit. We love them for our kids. They’re built like a tank, they’re slim and stylish, and we’ve never heard a peep complaining about comfort. Importantly, I don’t worry about my kids safety in this car seat. I also love that they have a merino wool option. There are some improvements that could be made (Aka washability of the fabric) but honestly it’s not a big deal.

We are just setting up this car seat now. My favorite features are the reasons we bought it. The slim design and flame retardant free! We had the infant carrier and I wanted to not have to worry about what car we had and be able to have three across. Im happy to say after seeing how this fits next to the infant base we would have plenty of room for three across with this brand. I wish more brands would make their seats narrower. Our son has room to grow into this seat. Like other clek features it isn’t my favorite for ease of use and the instructions could use some work. I also got a cut from a metal shaving on the headrest when I was installing it. The harness is the typical material for car belts and this one had some long strings that missed their cut. I’ve been less than impressed with cleks quality overall. I think the price point demands better quality assurance for the end product. Nevertheless I am excited to start using it and hoping that I won’t have gripes about it. I will update accordingly as we use it.

Easily fits in our Toyota highlander, with some room to spare, we have two of these and a Clek liing all in a row. Material is easy to clean, it’s easy to install and holds up well against two toddlers.

This is my third Clek car seat and second Foonf. I love how easy it is to install and tighten the straps. It is a fluid and smooth movement, unlike another company’s straps. I find the seat easy to clean, and appreciate the sturdiness when installed.

Beautiful, sleek, safe. We've used this car seat for 4+ years and it's reliable and trustworthy. I love the slim look to the car seat and the fact that you can get 3 across in some cars. This came at the recommendation of The Car Seat Lady.

Not going to sugar coat it, this car seat is heavy. But no part of this car seat feels cheap. We also own a cheaper $100 popular brand car seat for travel and the difference is night and day in quality. My wife and I only came across this brand because our vehicle has inflatable seatbelts in the rear seats. Only a handful of car seats are approved to be used with inflatable seatbelts and the Clek Foonf is one of them. The LATCH connection for forward facing is amazing and makes install easy. The cherry on top is that this car seat actually looks good too. The child seat belts move freely when trying to loosen or tighten. We love this car seat so much we bought a second for our second vehicle that doesn't have inflatable seat belts. We will also continue to use Clek in the future because of this experience.

I’m so sad that I don’t love this car seat. It’s important to note this has ZERO padding on the inside, which was a huge adjustment going from the infant seat to this. She screams every time she gets in it, and there really isn’t much we can do to adjust it. It was also very difficult to install, and sits up high so she bumps her head getting in. We lost our window to return it, but for their money there are so many better options with higher value out there.

clek foonf are my favorite car seats, having 4 kids, ive gone through alot of seats….these ones feel most sturdy and let me rest easy with the rigid latch connection and no harsh chemicals

Steep learning curve installing it into our car. One of the biggest lessons we did not realize is that if you are planning on using it backwards facing to start, you cannot use the rigid LATCH system. The whole reason we bought this was because of that feature, so lesson learned and buyer beware. Also, just so you know, it's likely if you plan on using the middle seat, you also cannot use the rigid LATCH system because most cars do not have the hooks around the middle seat for it, so you'll have to install it on a side. That being said, once installed, it is relatively easy to buckle the baby in, she looks very comfortable and has plenty of room to grow, and it's very helpful knowing that even installed without the rigid LATCH the car seat is very safe and free from many harmful chemicals. It also seems to be good temperature-wise in both cold and hot temperatures.

I have had the nuna rava for 3 years with my other child. I decided I’d like to try a seat that can utilize car space better. However when I received the clek foonf I was surprised how large it was and did not save ANY more space than my nuna. I made a side by side comparison video of the two as well. The fabric on the nuna was better quality and softer. Clerks seat isn’t washable. The biggest factor was after installation (and I had it triple checked by two others) the clek was not secure. It wobbled and could lean. It was shakey and didn’t not feel tight against the seat like other car seats and my nuna. We strapped it as tight as we could. It also does NOT RECLINE MUCH AT all!! My daughter was slumped forward when she fell asleep where in the nuna she never did. (Neither did my son) it is extremely tall when in rear facing bc of the wedge you have to attach. You need to re thred the seat belt straps as the child grows where other seats you just pull up as they grow. Overall it was harder to assemble and not as user friendly. Did not feel nearly as secure and safe for my child. I wanted to LOVE THIS CHAIR bc I love the more minimalistic look but when I say the nuna and clek side by side the nuna actually looked nicer.

Worth every penny! This seat is just top notch. While the installation is slightly different than many standard seats, it is so easy once you learn. The harness straps adjust so much more smoothly than many other seats. I love how easy the fabric is to clean and how well it holds up. Albee Baby always has great prices and selection compared to most other shops! While this seat is certainly on the expensive side, a car seat is not the place to sacrifice and I love being fully confident that I have chosen such a safe seat for my kids. If anything were to ever happen, I would not have a second thought about whether a different car seat would have been a better choice.

Love the safety features but I wish they would do something about the middle part you put the belt in because both of my kids always cry that their inner thighs hurt.

Live that this is flame retardant free. At the time of purchase there were significantly less non toxic options. Which is why we spent the extra money on this pricey seat. It’s a great seat but man oh man it’s a pain in the neck to get in and out. The latch handles are awful and will pull all the way out and you are stuck having to manually unlock the rigid latches with the attached tool it comes it. Hopefully this problem was fixed in the newer iterations…especially since it’s $600 I think the Subaru we latch it into isn’t worth much more than that gulp

We’ve been very happy with both Foonfs. They feel solid and safe and make it easy to fit three across. Seats can be difficult to clean because it is difficult to remove and reinstall the cover. We chose these for the safer materials.

My 99th percentile baby was horribly uncomfortable in his old car seat and squirmed in every other slim model we tried. I have three kids in car seats, so slim was a must. He LOVES this seat. He’s so comfortable, doesn’t complain when we put him in it, and loves that he’s now high enough to look out the window on car rides. We like it so much that I’m about to splurge on a second one for his twin.

This care seat feels so safe and secure. My 7 month old seems comfortable in it and it will grow with him.

I have 4 under 5 years of age and it’s been so wonderful being able to transition each child as they grow and hand down to the others! The flame retardant free fills me with confidence that I am in control of what touches my kiddos skin and won’t be uncomfortable.

The seat seems comfortable for my daughter who is 15 months, but the straps get tangled easily and it can be difficult to loosen the straps.

We have had this car seat for approximately a year and have always felt comfortable using it with our 5 year old. The car seat is on the heavy side, which makes it a bit challenging to switch it to a different car when we need to, but the install is very easy and it feels like it is securely in place once installed. The harness is easy to adjust and getting our child in and out of it is easy. The seat appears to be comfortable and the fabric is nice and durable. The seat does sit a bit high up, but that's great for a child to be able to see out the car windows and it is not so tall that it obstructs our view in any way.

We have loved our Clek Foonf for our toddler for almost three years, so we decided to purchase a second for our second baby on the way. The lack of flame retardants is a HUGE reason for selecting the Foonf in Mammoth. Second is the safety ratings that cannot be beat. Was considering this and the Nuna Rava and the safety features of the Clek won out by a landslide.

This seat is truly a tank. I feel confident knowing my baby is protected and secure. He loves the seat and being able to sit up and look out the windows. The seat takes up a lot of space rear facing, so do research to see if it’ll fit in your vehicle! I have a CX-5 and am 5’4” - it fits behind the seat for me but my 6’2” husband can no longer drive my car with the seat installed. We upgraded from the Liing and couldn’t be happier!

When the car seat came I had to make some changes and move the straps around. The middle one was so hard to move up another slot. I scraped all of my fingers and it took me like 20 minutes. But I do love the knowledge that my son is safe when we are on the road.

We love the Clek Foonf Car Seat! My son didn’t do well in his infant car seat so we got the Clek Foonf and couldn’t be happier with the purchase. He is much happier in his Clek Car Seat. We absolutely love this car seat! It feels so safe. We use it all the time and it has held up great for the past 2 years. We are currently looking at getting a second one for our second kid. Our 3 year old still fits in it comfortably and still has plenty of time rear facing in this seat. One thing I never thought of when purchasing is it's height. It is a tall seat and that has been an added plus because our daughter can easily see out our car's windows, which makes for happier car trips. We love that it is wool and has no sprayed flame retardants on it. We would recommend this car seat to anyone. The only cons are that it is a bit spendy and it is quite heavy. We don't mind either of those things because we feel it is such a safe seat and we don't move it around from car to car.

We have been using for a month and it’s wonderful. Great for my 4 almost 5 year old and will be able to accommodate height and weight growth. I had to watch a video to install but it really wasn’t too bad. Able to do on my own.

We love our Foonf in mammoth wool. We have a 5-year-old forward facing in this one, 3-year-old rear facing in a newer Foonf mammoth, and 8-year-old in the Clek Oobr booster. The kids are all comfortable, and the seats fit perfectly three-across in our Odyssey. We love how sturdy and solid the seat is, the steel frame construction and the rigid latch. Our primary criteria was that it's flame retardant free! One thing that can be bothersome is that the pad on the seat buckle slips off easily. We've figured out how to manage it though, and overall we are very happy with the seat!

This seat is easily installed and adjusted to fit my little one. Knowing that it goes above and beyond the minimum safety standards brings my parent mind ease.

I really really want to like this seat but it has been a major pain since I got it. It's a heavy beast which makes me think it will protect my son in the event of a crash, and the slim profile is nice for other passengers in the back seat, but I can't recommend this seat, especially for front-facing toddlers. This is already a pricey seat and does not come with a cup holder (I knew this when I bought it but still annoying). It does not recline that far in front facing so my son's head falls forward if he falls asleep on a long car ride, which is a deal breaker. Unlike most other seats that put their LATCH release on the actual buckle, the Foonf has them on the front (those red tabs in the product photo). You pull them out to release the LATCH, but if you pull "too hard" (their words, not mine) they can break...and then you can't remove your car seat without using a workaround involving an included troubleshooting tool where the LATCH buckles anyway. It's a ridiculous design flaw that is not covered by the warranty and broke after only owning for a few months. I'll likely bite the bullet and get something else.

Got this for our tall 8mo baby who's at the infant carseat height limit area. Seat is very spacious but slim so you can fit another one jnside Toyota Camry. This carseat also sits higher than other ones, which makes driving a fun activity to enjoy for our LO. However, one thing I noticed is that my LO's head falls forward, which makes me worried as it can turn jnto chocking hazard for smaller babies and can cause stress to his neck. Also, it's very hard to wash the seat cover. Manual says to just use it as-is but it went through all kinds of process (manufacturing, assembly, packaging, etc.) and since it's Covid pandemic still, I googled and looked all kinds of sources to remove, clean and reinstall the covers. Someone mentioned their manual being not too detailed; It is true and the paper manual is hard to understand. Youtube it using few different keywords to find the easiest video manual to understand how to install the seatcover back. I already did it once so I now know how it works, but it took me a good full day to reinstall it at first. Other than these, so far so good.

+ I really love the purple color from Clek car seat. The structure is like a tank, I feel my little one is well protected in this car seat! + So far, it's pretty easy to clean (I haven't tried to treat a stain yet) this car seat compare to my old Chicco car seat. - This car seat is heavy and might not be ideal for traveling.

I had to replace both my kids car seats due to an accident. I did a ton of research on the most safe car seats and ultimately landed on this one due to its slim profile. My 3 year old is forward facing and 16mth son is rear facing so I experienced setting up both ways. I did thoroughly read all the instructions to get to know the product better. It did take some time to get both set up and secured but I can say that once installed, both feel incredibly secure and tight. The prior car seats, despite many attempts, never seemed to be quite as firmly in place as these are. My son is also seeming to enjoying riding up higher since there is the rear facing component that increased the height. He can actually look out the window now. Great product quality. I do recommend taking the time to read the instructions and get familiar with how it works.

I researched a lot and this is the one! Strong material construction make this carseat the safest in the market. Yes, this will make it heavy. It also is narrow and is very hight, so my son enjoy the view of the window. Very happy with my purchase!

For kiddo #3, we tried the foonf instead of the fllo. While both are great, I find the rigid latch to be really convenient for quick installation. When the prices are similar, I’d recommend the foonf over the fllo

This thing is a tank! We had to replace a Rava, due to our new vehicle having inflatable rear belts. We went with the foonf and love it! Our four year old is in the foonf, he's very tall and this fits him great with some more room to grow in a five point! Definitely built sturdy!

Let me start by saying this is my second Clek Foonf Car Seat so, of course, I really like the thing. It's clearly indestructible which feels pretty reassuring when you're strapping your unwilling little food-stained bundle of joy to it before taking off down a 75-mile-a-hour highway. They have great natural fiber fabric options. It never had a funky chemical smell and there is plenty of room in the seat without it being too large. The easy latch system also pretty handy. All that being said, it this thing is a tank. It's heavy and it's taller than most car seats. I was recently riding with a friend and we needed more room in the car. "I'll just pop out my car seat." What could she mean? My car seat weighs what feels like 50 pounds and there is never any "popping it out". Well, hers weighs a fraction of mine and my mind was blown at the difference. We are flying soon and I will definitely NOT be taking my foonf with me. It is ridiculous to me that they even have a travel case for it. In fact, I own two simply because I refuse to keep moving the seat from my car to my husbands and back again. No... Nope... Won't do it anymore. I hurt my shoulder one too many times (and I am not a dainty lady). Summary: If you want a tank, get it. If you want something portable, easy to move, or lightweight... maybe check elsewhere. I still give it 5 stars.

It has a slim profile, but is very roomy for my toddler. The seat is cushy and comfy and my toddler has no complaints when she climbs into it! The harness is also very easy to use and never gets tangled which is a huge pet peeve of mine of my previous car seat!

We consulted The Car Seat Lady, Pediatrician Dr. Alisa Baer. She recommended Albee Baby(which we already knew and love, and shopped from before), and the Clek Foonf for our baby, and another child who are rear facing. We chose the Ten Year Blue color in the C- Zero fabric, but I failed to notice that there is one with white on back and one with black on back, and ordered the white ones. They are very pretty car seats, and the fabric is soft and seems to wipe clean so far. The fabric reminds me of Crypton. The seats are comfortable for my children, although they do sit higher in the vehicle car seats, which was a surprise to us.One definite plus to this, my children can see out of the window a whole lot better! We drive a Honda Odyssey van. The seats are heavy and very different from any other we have installed, however my husband watched the recommended videos and we had our consult with The Car Seat Lady, which was a lifesaver and worth every penny! The seats have a steel frame and I feel like my children are very safe in them. We also ordered the Q Tether per The Car Seat Lady's instructions. This is an additional accessory ordered directly from the Clek website, for $19.99, that limits rotation of the seat for Rear facing, and reduces head and neck forces by up to 50%! It adds about 3 seconds to getting the child in and out of the seat, yet I feel like the peace of mind and extra safety feature, is absolutely worth it.The anti rebound bar is also a very nice feature that adds an extra level of safety. The seat is extremely secure and not going anywhere, and no extra noise is heard as others have mentioned. I would highly recommend this seat and the Clek brand!

I feel my child is safe when in this car seat and know of children involved in auto accidents in this car seat that come out with not even a scratch! I did my research and liked the results it had for crash testing.

This is THE car seat. I might not have that much experience with car seats, but immediately upon opening this could feel the quality. The installation and adjustments was not as easy as our Nuna Pipa Lite, but we watched a video on YouTube from Clek and worked it all out. While the number one reason we purchased this was for the safety and performance, the attractiveness of it doesn't hurt!

I did a lot of research before buying a toddler car seat for my daughter and it seemed like the Clek Foonf was the best car seat out there for safety and looks so classic. We picked this car seats for a number of reasons 1) it was the safest on the market based on our research and talking to different retailers that sold car seats 2) you can fit three across in most cars because of it's slim width dimensions 3) it looks beautiful! Albeebaby was a great place to order from because of their reward system and points. After my purchase I was able to use my points on a few other items I needed for our daughter. We had such a good experience, we are now ordering the same car seat again for our second daughter.

We did a lot of research before buying our first convertible car seat. It was very important to us to have our daughter in something that had no chemicals and were so thankful to find the Foonf. On her first car ride she seemed to love the seat. It is spacious and the material is soft. We love that there is the anti rebound bar. The biggest challenge is , with any car seat, reading the manual of both the car and car seat to ensure proper installation. Clek has a very easy install process. We will buy another whenever we have another kid!

This seat is as sturdy and functional as it gets. We’ve had the following seats: Clek Foonf (this one) Britax Advocate Britax B-Safe35 Britax Boulevard Chico Next Zip Graco 4ever That is also the order I’d rate them in. I would never buy the bottom 3 ever again. And I’d be incredibly bitter to have to get anything other than a Foonf moving forward. The seat uses rigid latch (not available in 99% of seats on the market), which is a direct steel car seat frame to car latch system. There’s no seatbelt-like material on the latch system at all. It makes it incredibly secure. It also uses a seatbelt and rear latch along with the rigid latch. I’ve never had a seat that has you use all the installation methods at once like this one, and can honestly say that the seat does not wiggle or move from the installation point a single centimeter. It’s also very easy to install once you do it for the first time. Definitely follow Clek’s video instructions, as it is a little intimidating without it. The harness release button is also totally inaccessible to the kids and takes 2 trigger movements from me to even loosen the straps. I seriously can’t put into words how safe and secure this seat is.

I bought my first Clek Foonf 8 years ago color pink flamingo and I loved it. The material is easy to clean with soapy rag cleans well and still looks like new. Now I have another baby and with out hesitation I went with Clek again but in different color. Nothing changed still the best car seat out there.

This car seat fits and look great in our car. It is slim and so much less bulky. Installed forward facing on Captain's Chairs and can easily fit around it to access the 3rd row. Also, can move the seat forward with the installed car seat without any problems to access third row.

Bought this to be our regular car seat given its stellar safety reputation and the FR-free Mammoth wool (harder to find than you would think), and have a Britax in a second car. While the Foonf has held up well and feels very sturdy and safe, the installation is a complete nightmare- despite reading instructions and watching multiple you tube videos, it took ~2 hours to install it rear-facing, and then another 1.5 hours to turn it around when it was time. Every time you have to make any sort of adjustment, you basically have to take the entire thing apart, and it is not intuitive in the least. I am usually good at sorting through product manuals and figuring out assembly/installation, and have had no problem with the Britax, so was disappointed to find this so difficult to install and that it did not come up more in reviews.

I was strictly a Nuna mom when it came to car seats, but I’ve converted to Clek! 5 stars all around!!

I have 3 Clek foonfs and they are hands down the best seats. They can fit 3 across in my car and are exactly what my family needs.

I have peace of mind knowing our child is safe in the Clek Foonf Convertible Car Seat. The car seat is built like a tank. It is sturdy and has great safety features. Albee Baby shipped out the car seat right away and gave great customer service.

We now have 2 of these seats for our kids. The seats are easy to install and we love the forward facing rigid Lowe anchors. The seat is perfect for our newborn with the infant insert.

I was choosing between the Clek Foonf and Nuna Rava. I decided on the Foonf because it is slightly more narrow. However, I am returning it because it is incredibly tall, meaning that your vehicle must have a lot of head room. This seat is easily 10 inches taller than the Rava when installed in a rear facing position in a fully upright recline. The height made it incredibly difficult to get my child in and out of it, and I didn't feel comfortable with how close his head was to the vehicle's ceiling. I spoke with Clek in a scheduled video installation call to confirm I had installed it correctly. I drive a Nissan Murano.

I had read all about how safe the Clek's crumple zone technology is, so was always looking to buy this car seat. While the look and feel is great, there are a few issues with this car seat. 1) The crotch area is very limited, and my thin 4 year old son finds the buckle at the outer most area still tight. The crotch strap protector also falls off everytime my son gets out of the car, and often gets lost at the bottom of the car. I dont know why Clek didn't sew this one or put a button somehow onto it. 2) The car seat works in some cars better than others. In our luxury suv, leather seats, it just doesn't get to the right angle that there is gap between the car seat and car and it rattles a lot while driving. In our cheaper cloth covered chair, it forms better. Really depends on car I think. 3) It's a TANK, heavy. But maybe that's why it so safe. Just warning this is not a car seat you'd replace on and off.

We loved all of the safety features of foofn that we decided to another one for our second car. These car seats are pricey, but love that Albee Baby often has a few of the color options on sale.

I originally ordered this seat to fit three across in a GMC Terrain. I ordered two of the Foonf and this seat is amazing! It is comfortable and offers lots of leg room. It is extremely narrow, and a pretty easy install. It is quite heavy, but very sturdy and durable. I would definitely order again!

I bought this Clek Foonf when my child had outgrown his infant Clek Liing. While the seat itself was a bit on the challenging side to install (I miss the rigid LATCH of the Liing!) the customer service provided by Clek was phenomenal. They took their time walking me through the installation and put my mind at ease. This seat is roomy for my toddler and compact enough to fit in the car.

I can imagine this seat holds up well considering how heavy duty it is. It is really hard to move in and out though. I like that it sits very high but that may bother others. Love that is doesn't have flame retardents.

This has been a terrific car seat for our son. We actually prefer this fabric cover the more expensive wool that’s supposed to be better to repel heat (we are in central TX). Highly reccomend

I absolutely love this car seat. It really stands out and looks chic. The fabric is great you can tell it is really going to put up with all the spills my kids do.

We love our foonf! It is reassuring to know that our child is in the safest car seat on the market. We will be buying a second foofn for our second car as our child will be outgrowing her infant car soon. The instal was easy. We also bought the q-tether separately to make sure our child is as safe as can be, we also attached some toys on the tether to keep her occupied. It seems comfy and have taken a few long trips in thee foonf. We also bought the mat thingy to protect the rigid latch system from digging into the seat when in rear-facing mode.

If you’re pondering, buy it! The quality of this car seat is beyond exceptional. I have owned and/or used multiple cheaper car seats from brands such as Graco, on both my children and my multiple nieces/nephews. But this one leaves them in the dust. It is slim, sleek, and comfortable. It does not place your child in an awkward slumped position, and the fabric is high quantity and durable. The two “cons,” if you can even call them that, are the weight and the installation process. It is quite heavier than other car seats and it takes a little longer to install. However, I am not taking stars away for those two qualities due to them contributing to the overall safety of the product. I highly recommend this product, along with the Clek Oobr for older children. I plan on purchasing the Clek Liing for my next LO.

Absolutely the best car seat we have owned. It is extremely heavy, so I don’t recommend it being one you move between vehicles. We love the anitrebound bar, and the additional safety it provides!

This is the cleanest seat on the market, especially the Merino Wool covered one. The safety of this seat is the best I have found with the crush technology. I bought my second seat for my second child I trust/love this seat. Friend has same seat and her 5yo still fits rear facing comfortably. Looking forward to using this seat for years

Love the Foonf. It is a heavy car seat, but installation is simple and I feel confident it is a safe car seat. I've purchased multiple Foonfs and wouldn't go with a different car seat. However, I am not happy with the Merino Wool fabric. The day after we installed, it already had pilling. It is already an expensive car seat so to pay even more for upgraded fabric and have it look bad immediately is frustrating. Stick with the C-Zero fabric.

This product was originally out of stock, I signed up for a reminder when the product was back in stock and it was in stock within the time the estimated. The car seat shipped quicker than estimated which was nice! The car seat is nice quality and I love how simple and sleek it looks!

Love CLEK and all that they stand for! We chose merino wool because it is chemical free! Little Miss loves it! Just beware, the max harness height is 17" (about average for comparable seats), so little Miss LOOOONG torso will be upgrading to a higher harnessed seat well before she outweighs it. She's 4/40"/40 lbs and finally FF and on the last harness slot.

I am so glad we purchased this car seat. It seems like such great quality and I feel really positive that my daughter is riding around in this car seat. The videos online were really helpful to install the car seat!!!

Heavy but worth the money. We have 2 kids and both our cars have the Foonf car seats. The seats are well made and built like a tank. We were in a car accident a couple of years ago (no injuries) and the company was easy to work with to ensure our insurance company covered the car seats

If you are here questioning to purchase this seat then make that purchase! If you are comparing this to the nuna Rava I would pick clek. Even with my 18 month old at 3 feet tall, she has more leg room than the Rava and it’s easier to install. The Rava might go it 49” RF but if your child has a long torso and his or her seat height is making them taller in the seat or their head 1” from the top your child won’t make it to 49” RF. The clek is build like a tank , easy to clean, and instal. I own 4 of these seats now!

This is my third Clek for my two kids and will be using it in our second vehicle. They are truly build like tanks and are easy to install. They fit perfectly side by side and are easy to clean. My kids are over 99% for height and will RF until max limits. I recommend this to everyone I know, you really get what you pay for. My two friends have Graco seats and have commented on how sturdy mine are. Theirs felt like cheap plastic. Exceptional saftey features.

This is my second Foonf. It is my absolute favorite car seat I have owned and I have owned at least 3 other brands. The install is so easy, it wipes clean and my kids love how high they sit in the car and how they can see out the windows! It's comfortable, slim and so incredibly safe!

I’m so glad to have this narrow option to fit my 3 boys across the backseat. The rigid latch makes it feel very secure and helps in situations where a rigid seat belt buckle could make the install more difficult. My only real gripe is that I’ll have to take it out of the car and rethread the harness when my son gets taller, but I suppose you really only have to do that a few times in the life of the car seat. Overall a nice seat and love the Albee sale price!!

It’s plush and comfortable! The material alone is worth buying for. Will be buying another once newborn is older.

Clek Foonf is the best carseat we ever had. We have 3 Clek Foonf and one oobr. Foonf don’t take so much space in your car yet it is like a tank that will put your child in safety!

My 3 year old climbs in this carseat, rubs her face on the material and says, "So soft!" I love the foonf for the safety and it also looks so beautiful in the backseat of our car. I haven't had to clean major spills off of it yet but I have the cleaning kit from Clek that makes spot treatment easy.

great product. a little on the heavy side but since it's a steal seat i expected that. the color is really nice, a navy blue with a hair of a purple undertone. definitely gender neutral. will be getting help by a CPST to install it as i know they can be a bit tricky and we want to do it right.

We have two Clek Foonf seats. They are super heavy, but great seats! We feel our children are safe in them. We like that they are made in Canada and their customer service is exceptional!

so far I am really satisfied with my purchase first and foremost the shipping was great and I received my car seat sooner than I expected. The car seat was in great condition on arrival. It's attractive but very heavy and has many safety features which give me peace of mind. It took some time to install but it's been easy to get our daughter in and out of she looks great and is safe in her seat and I am very happy with our purchase thus far. I have to mention even though it's heavy it doesn't take a lot of room in the car so you can sit in the driver/passenger seat comfortably.

This thing is a tank. It is tall, so the kids can see better, which makes them happier. It is not a bucket seat, so it is better for their spine alignment and more comfortable. It is also one of the few car seats available without fire retardants. It is pretty easy to install. You can keep your child rear-facing longer because the height and weight limits are larger than most available car seats. It also has an anti-rebound bar for rear-facing, which makes it safer during accidents. If you can afford it, I would definitely recommend it. I think it is probably the best car seat made. Also, shipping from Albee baby is fast! I ordered it, and it arrived about 24 hours later.

Such better quality and sturdier than our (also new/2020) Diono 3QXT. Clek fits better in a BMW X3 as well. Trying to figure out how to sell the Diono now so we can put the proceeds toward another Foonf!

We had the fllo before getting a Foonf and I love them both! We have been through a decent amount of car seats over the years, and the Clek seats are by far my favorite for convertible car seats. The liing came out after our last kiddo was born. The quality of these seats is amazing. I also love the “L” shape design of them. The low profile around the bottom of the seat allow kids tons of leg room for extended rear facing! My daughter is 3.5 in the 83% for height and still has 2 inches before she will out grow the seats rear facing. The Foonf is also one of the only seats that offers rigid latch and seat belt install for forward facing. The Foonf is a beast so if you plan fly a lot I would consider the fllo or plan to get a seat for traveling.

I have 2 kids 2.5 years apart. Most kids outgrow car seats so they can be passed down to the next child. I did not have this option since the weight and height limits are so high on the foonf. My only solution was to repurchase this seat as there is no other seat on the market that I feel comes close in quality and safety features as this seat does. My oldest is now 7. He is still in his foonf. I am looking to purchase the Oobr now, not because he’s out grown it, and not even because he asked for a booster. It’s only because all of his friends are in boosters and I know the Oobr will give the same level of safety. He is perfectly comfortable to stay In his foonf.

We have never felt safer with our girls in these Clek car seats! We have a 16 month old and a now 5 year old both in these seats! Both sets of two (one for each of our cars) were gifted on their 1st birthdays and the 5 year olds seat looks just as new as her little sisters ! We have tackled reflux/spit up, potty training, and car sickness in the seats with ease not to mention long car rides from Ohio to NC and back with not even one complaint from the back seat!

This is my third Clek car seat. We had a Clek fllo for my son. He loved the seat and used it until right before he turned 6. There was no question to which seat to get for my second kiddo. Was happy to see the 2020 Clek foonf on Albee Baby, as it is a super safe carseat. Gives me peace of mind while out and about with my little one.

Install is a bit finicky. Make sure to read all the instructions, this isn't the type of car seat you can just wing (well none of them are) since there are small little buttons and such you have to click or loop through. Clek has one of the thinnest car seats width wise which is great, but it takes up a bit of room front to back. Thankfully we are average sized people so it doesn't affect the anyone up front, but for a couple on the tall side, it may affect how far back your driver or passenger seats will be. The seat is also quite tall, so a center install could block your rear window view. Overall, solid seat, it is built like an absolute tank and keeps my LO cooler and is a bit more spacious than our Nuna Rava, I only wish the install was as easy as the Rava.

This is the most sleek car seat I've ever seen. I would not recommend to use if you're planning to move it between cars because it is very heavy. With that said the quality is better than any car seat we've ever purchased.

This is a beautiful rock solid car seat. We love these. This is our 3rd one. Installation is a bit tricky on our leather seats. The seat kept slipping back and the only fix we could find was to buy the $40 mat thingy.

Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. Mainly, I do feel the Clek Foonf is as safe as they say and that peace of mind is incredible valuable. It’s only been in use about two weeks, so as I adjust to it my thoughts may change, but my only complaints as of now are how heavy it is (a nonissue once installed) and how awkward it is to adjust the straps. Maybe it’s just my car (2018 CRV) but I feel like I have to squeeze myself in the tiny bit of headspace above the seat to get the baby in and the steps adjusted correctly. But if you’re looking for a well-made, incredibly safe car seat I’d still recommend it. It looks and feels much more high quality than other options and I trust it to do its job well.

Our priority when purchasing car seats for our littles is safety and comfort! This weight of this seat is heavy, but clearly made of something that seems almost indestructible; exactly what we want. My 3.5 year old is quite tall for his age (43” tall) and doesn’t like anything that is too restrictive around his shoulders. He loves this seat and really loves the additional height it gives him as well. It sits higher than other car seats. SUPER EASY to install. It was literally a couple of clicks and it was in. We also own NUNA Ravas which we love for their ease of install and quality. His nuna is going to our youngest and we chose this for him bc it also fits in the third row of our Audi Q7, it’s amazing!

Great seat! This is our 4th Foonf but our first Merino Wool Foonf! It is so soft and comfortable! It was easier to setup, but maybe that is because it was our 4th one!

This seat is solid!! When installed it doesn't move an inch!! When rear facing it can block some vision because it is huge. Its also super heavy to lug around but easy to install if you do need to move it. Overall we love it!

We absolutely love our Clek Foonfs. They feel so solid and look great. Also if you have tall children, the Foonf will last longer than many other car seats on the market thanks to the higher max harness height. I love the black and white color combo exclusive to Albee Baby. I just wish the Fllo would also come in a white shell.

Initially got the Nuna Rava because the Foonf was backordered. Now that I have my Clek, I love it even more. It has so much leg room due to the added safety of the anti-rebound bar, the straps are nice and long and don't twist, so it's very easy to get baby into the chair. And it's narrow!

Awesome and heavy duty. I absolutely love the front facing rigid Latch feature. Totally simple to install. Rear facing install was a little more complicated but read the instructions and you'll be fine. Little bit of a learning curve for me to adjust everything but YouTube is your friend.

Bought this for my 10 month old chunk of a grandson! The first car seat I bought was difficult all around as I had to bend way over to Put my chunk in it! This one is a breeze as I do not have to bend over at all. My grandson can also see out if the window which makes him happy! It’s easy to use the straps and to clip baby in and out. So far I am very pleased, it is basic without cups and frills but my biggest want was ease to put the baby in and out and this seat delivers. I’m 5’8

We purchased Clek 2019 / 2020 Foonf in pink and black base in July 2020 as a back order (bc it was on sale) which was supposed to arrive end of August. I called on September 4th to ask if there are any updates, but our order got pushed to mid October. I asked if they can do anything for us, they offered pink and white base instead (which was never on sale ). Five days later our car seat was delivered to our door for no extra charge. Love it! Our three year old boy has same carseat in all black and we are more than happy with it. Worth every penny. Thank you!

I first bough the Clek Foonf 2017 for my first daughter when she turned one year old. I bought it because it’s one of the narrowest and safest on the market. Now my second daughter is 10 months old and I’m buying another one for her. I have a Toyota RAV4 and need some extra sitting so I think that This car seat is ideal for small SUV.

this is probably the best car seat available out there. the attachments feel extremely secure and provide a great sense of security. outside of the heft, installing this seat, esp forward facing, is simple and intuitive. the only drawback is that this seat is hard to travel with - 50lbs, even in the rolling bag is a lot to drag around to/from the airport.

Love love love this car seat. The Merino wool is perfect for babies who get hot easily as it's temperature regulating but also works perfect for cold weather. Fabric is easy to clean. My baby has already spit up several times and it was a breeze to get everything off. I feel that my baby is very safe and secure in this car seat.

We love it. It’s quite on the big side, width wise. We had to move it behind the passenger side because my husband cannot drive comfortably with it behind his seat. We have a Mazda CX 5 for reference.

I searched for months trying to find a good deal on a Clek Foonf and Albee has the best prices by a long shot. I was pleasantly surprised that it was made in 2019 instead of 2018. It was delivered way faster than expected. I was unsure if I was going to like the fabric design, but it’s absolutely gorgeous and I am in love with it. I love Albee Baby and recommend it to everyone I know, plus everyone I don’t know on social media.

This is my 4th car seat to own and I have replaced all my car seats now with clek. It is built like a tank and installs securely. The chest straps glide nicely to get kids in and out and the install is very easy! Beware this car seat is heavy! So wouldn’t recommend it for someone having to take their car seat in and out often.

My child is much more content in his new Clek with the great wool fabric that helps keep him cool compared to his infant seat. This seat is very tall, in our X5 we can have the front seats positioned for a very tall driver just fine, however a tall driver in a sedan might have problems (we haven't moved it to our Passat yet, but it will be tight). This truly is a tank, you can see the steel running through it and it is extremely heavy, once it is in the car it really isn't going to be moved from car to car, we are going to have to purchase a second one. Read the installation instructions, from our research this one appeared to be more difficult than other options out there, but once you have it figured out it's not bad. I did need my husband to help me get it tight though as we prefer to use the belt versus the latches as it has always given us a more secure seat. Overall pleased with the safety, materials and styling.

This seat is built like a tank. I feel completely confident my kids are as safe as can be in this thing. There are some things I wont go cheap on and this is certainly one of them. Installation took a bit onger since it is a little different from their old car seats but once i went through the manual and felt through the releases and adjusted everything for my girls sizes it was a breeze.

After doing my research, I bought two of these for my kids. Very happy with the purchase. These definitely felt part of the seats in my car and that gave me peace of mind knowing my kids were safe. My almost 6 year old has about out grown it now and will be purchasing a Clek booster seat.

This is much roomier than I had thought and my son loves it! We do need to wait to use it a little longer as his head dangles when he falls asleep. He is just about to turn one and on the small side so we can still safely use our infant car seat for a bit longer until he is better able to fit this. But I am very excited as it is built extremely well and I love that there is a company that doesn't use chemicals in their fabric!

After using the Rachel Zoe Maxi-Cosi car seat for a couple of years, we couldn’t stand the horrible straps (it does NOT tighten!!) and decided to pick up the Foonf. And absolutely LOVE it! You can tell it is a quality car seat and we love how sleek it is. I am able to sit comfortably in the back of our car in between this and the Oobr (another highly recommended car seat!). Love how easy it is to install/remove and oh my goodness - straps that tighten with ease?? Life. Changing.

We purchased this seat for one of my twins when they were 3 months old. We needed to fit three across in my van, and this does so perfectly! The seat is sleek, feels like a tank, and SO easy to install. We now have it forward facing for my older daughter and the rigid latch install was 100% effortless. I would recommend this seat to anyone.

I’ve been through every brand of car seat over the years and this has been our favorite by far. It installs easy, my daughter is happy in it, and we can extended read face her. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come with a cup holder. For the price point, it should at least come with one cup holder.

I love how this car seat becomes one with the seat of the car! It doesn’t move AT ALL once installed. It’s absolutely amazing and now both my kids enjoy getting their seats instead of always putting up a fight. I will 100% recommend these to other parents!

I purchased one in a different color for my oldest daughter, and because it was so wonderful I got one in pink for my youngest. So easy to adjust and install in the car. The seat installs sturdy unlik other seats that have to be bound over and over again until your mind goes crazy. I HIGHLY recommend this seat to all the parents! It’s high in price but worth it all. (The seat cover is washable!! I’ve done it twice already and it cleans well, like New!)

Best option for warm/humid climates. Fabric is easy to wipe and seems cool very fast. Very straight forward installation and design. The extra lean is truly appreciated with younger babies who just transitioned from infant seat carrier. Really appreciate having the extended rear-facing capacity. And of course, their safety standards seem to consistently place this item in the top of its class.

We ordered the foonf and the rava (one for one car and one for the other) My husband wanted to send the foonf back for another rava. Rava was easier to install, nicer recline, and no rethread harness. We decided to keep the foonf to avoid packing back up and shipping costs. Foonf also seems like a very high quality seat and we liked the additional safety features.

This is the best car seat for extended rear facing. Both my boys use this car seat. My 2 1/2 year old is still real facing comfortably in this seat. Now my 9 Month old just transitioned to this new seat.

My daughters head never fails to slam all over the place. It breaks my heart to see her look so uncomfortable. I had to forward face her car seat a lot sooner than I ever wanted so I have the option to recline more. I feel for this price it’s absolutely not worth it. I bought the Nuna Rava for our second car and MY GOD HOW I REGRET EVER BUYING THIS CAR SEAT :(

We now have two Foonfs and two Fllos from Albee Baby and we really like them both. I feel like they are very solid and safe, the straps are easy to adjust, and the fabric is comfortable and easy to clean. It's also a nice looking car seat.

This was easy to use and has some of the least toxic fire retardants out there. Super safe and comparing it to friends' seats, I felt so much safer. GreenGuard Cold certified fabrics! And you can stay rear-facing a long time! Very safe.

This car seat is the most sturdy and stable you will find. When I compare it to those of my friends and child’s schoolmates, the peace of mind justifies the price.

I feel so good about the car seat! It really is built like a tank, but easy to install and no harmful chemicals. And it was shipped and delivered SO quickly. I actually ordered a second one! Very impressed with Albee baby.

This is supposed to be the safest seat on the market and it certainly feels that way. We used a Britax Advocate with our first child and I thought that was the best of the best. This seat certainly is a huge upgrade from a Britax! Not only in safety but in comfort and material quality. We chose this seat over the Nuna Rava because of the anti-rebound bar.

Bought this for our 9 month old son as he grows out of his Nuna infant car seat. We wanted the highest safety rating along with the lowest toxicity. This car seat was the winner! We got the wool fabric as to avoid any flame retardant. We are extremely happy with this purchase. Looks great, fits nicely into the car and we have a lot of piece of mind with him in it!

We have purchased both versions of the foonf, and this wool one is just so soft. We haven’t tested it out to see if it’s cooler in the summer, but we’re hoping it will be. Either way, the toddler enjoys it.

This seat is very easy to install, very solid, and very comfortable. It rides more like a booster seat, so my 3 and 5 year olds can really look the window, which makes them very happy. You can fit three across, which is rare to find!

Had this seat in our car, recently got into an accident, and didn't think twice about what seat to purchase again. Love that the fabric is so easy to wipe clean. The seat is roomy enough for my large 2yr old and my 10mo old also loves his clek seat. Defiantly worth the cost.

My 10 month old was getting starting to get heavier so it became difficult to remove him and the infant seat each time we took him out. I decided to go with the Floonf based on reviews. I love the low side profile making it easy to Buckle him in and out. The design is narrow and is of good quality. I feel much more safe with my baby while driving my sedan.

We bought this car seat for our baby girl and she loves it. I suggest going for the Mammoth wool if you like in hot weather. Here in Florida, the fabric stays cool to the touch which is major plus. Most importantly, we got this car seat for its safety. If safety is your top concern then you won’t be disappointed with this seat.

I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. It was time to transfer the youngest to a convertible car seat. I knew I wanted 2 narrow seats to fit in my 2018 qx60 behind the driver and in the middle, so that there was an easy access to the third row seats and a spare seat in the 2nd row for when our relatives are in town. There are not a lot of options for narrow seats, so I decided to go with foonf, because it’s the best one. I do not plan to move it, so the weight wasn’t a concern. I’m 5’5” and even though it sits higher than our previous Chicco nextfit zip, it’s still not cumbersome to load and unload the child. Fabric - it feels so soft, and even though we live in Florida, my sons seems to be comfortable, and doesn’t get hot.

The seat is bulky. Looks really good and I’m sure protects well too but then I f you have a tall kid they will have a very hard time adjusting to the seat. The Straps will be too tight. My 4 year old like the reclining feature but Thinks the base is very hard.

We have had this seat for a year and half for my 2.5-now-almost 4 year-old. It takes a little oomph to get installed, but once installed you will be happy. It feels rock solid in terms of safety for our son. He says it is comfortable, and it sits up high where he can truly see out of our car without any trouble. My one recommendation to Clek would be to find an easier-to-access mechanism for parents to adjust the tension in the straps. It is hard to reach as deep as you need to find the lever each time. Though to be clear, that is a minor hassle for the safety and comfort of this car seat.

We love our Clek Foonf car seats! This is our third one and they are definitely the car seats we are most comfortable putting our sweet kids in. My daughter rear faced with no complaints until she was 4. She’s now 5 and forward facing and we love how solidly it installs. We just moved my 1 year old from his infant seat to a Foonf and he is so much happier getting in the car now. He loves that he can see out the window and points at everything he sees. My daughter was pretty pumped that she got a new pink car seat and I was thrilled with the discounted price!

Putting the car seat together and setting it up took a lot of reviewing the instructions, but once I got it and installed it in my car, it was fine. Adjusting the straps may be a little difficult when the car seat it already installed rear facing, as the seat has to be removed and the latch is pressed against the backrest of the seat of the car. I suggest adjusting it to your baby before you install it in your car. The moment I placed my son in it, he sort of melted. He immediately looked calm and comfy. Not long into the ride, he fell asleep. The merino wool is very soft so I guess it’s really cozy. It is quite large though. We have a Honda Pilot and it is right against the back of the passenger seat, with enough leg room for the passenger. It’s also tall, so I had to move the mirror I use to see my son to the middle headrest. These are all small things but if you want it in a smaller vehicle, it may be really tight. It looks like my son is happy in it, so I’m happy. Plus, it’s very sturdy and safe. Really feels like it’s built like a tank.

After reading many reviews, seeing test results, and stalking the prices for many months, I am one proud parent to know that my girls are in the safest seat on the market.

We love this car seat. It is our second foonf model. We had a fllo but like this model a bit better. The color and fabric is great in Florida heat and the kids are very comfortable. It also looks so sharp in the car and clean.

We are big advocates of extended rear-facing, so we loved the Foonf. With it, we were able to rear-face our son until he was almost 5. At that point, he was 43" tall and had to switch to forward-facing even though he still had additional height in the shell. Now, other seats can rear-face taller children, so I would consider them as well.

The install was straightforward and relatively simple but this car seat is built like a tank! My daughter fits into it easily and seems very comfortable.

We have 2 Foonfs and LOVE them. I’m super diligent about car seat saftey and I feel great knowing my babies are riding in this seat. It lasts though 50 lbs rear facing so my 5.2 yr old is still rear facing in this seat !! 🙌🙌 it is the only seat on the market with the forward facing rigid latch and react system too , as well as having the anti rebound bar for rear facing ! Love these features . My kids are safe and happy newborn through age 5+ and they’re hands down the easiest to install , and the straps do not twist 💃.

Sturdy and spacious. Both my toddler and infant are comfortable in it. It is very heavy and not ideal for travel.

We’ve had Britax car seats - marathon and advocate. Really liked both but wanted a safer option that can rear face until 50lbs. We were between nuna RAVA and Clek Foonf but after comparing both, we bought the Clek and love it. I’m a pediatrician and think this is definitely the way to go. It is the best car seat I’ve seen. My girls also sit about 5-6 inches higher in the car than with the other car seats so they can see so well out the window, they don’t even seem to mind.

We got this car seat for our daughter and love it for all the safety features but also because it was slimmer than our other one especially driving a smaller car.

After being strictly a Chicco baby seat mom I was hesitant to go with this brand that was unknown to me but I am sooooo glad I did. These seats are the real deal. They are very heavy duty, well made. I seriously have no safety reservations about my children riding in these whatsoever bc I can tell that they are extremely strong carseats. I love that my baby sits up higher rear facing bc she used to scream constantly; now that she has been in the foonf she actually enjoys carrides as she can see out the window. Go figure. My oooonly thing with the seats is that due to the snugness of the belt setup, it is very difficult to clip in a baby with cloth diapers. But even so, had I known about that beforehand I still would have purchased bc its a small thing compared to having a safe seat.

This is a good quality car seat with no added flame retardants. However, it's quite difficult to install so it makes switching it to a different car quite difficult. It's also quite heavy and the seat cover can't be washed in a washer.

This car seat was about 2X as expensive as our first convertible car seat. However, our 2.5 year old son complained that his butt hurt in the other so we took a chance on this one. So glad we did! He sits up so much higher in the car and can see out the windows so much better. He loves it! It also does not require as much recline which makes him more comfortable. Can’t beat Albee’s rewards and free shipping!

We have LOVED this seat and our other Foonfs. They are super heavy but this translates to really solid in the car when installed correctly. The fabric is amazing and so easy to clean. I also love the overall look of this seat - it's not bulky and bumpy looking. Both of my kids use Foonfs and love them. So, although it doesn't look plush and comfy, they are comfortable and love their seats! The Shadow color is great out of the box but after 2+ years of use, it has faded in the sun on the seat in the car without (factory-installed) window tinting. This doesn't change our overall love of the seat though.

The design the great and it feels sturdy. It was INCREDIBLY difficult to put together. I highly recommend watching the you tube videos!

We previously had a convertible Graco seat but after researching flame retardants and safety features we decided to go with the Clek Foonf in Mammoth Wool and couldn’t be happier! It is compact so fits in the center seat of most cars and can accommodate two next to each other or 3 across all with no flame retardants if you pick the wool option. The only negatives are that it is heavy and the seat isn’t easy to clean but for the safety features and non toxic benefits, it is worth it.

We love these seats and have purchased 3, one for each child. The quality is superb, but what sold us is the fabric. Being that it’s merino wool, it’s naturally flame resistant and not treated in flame retardants that off gas in warm cars! Love love love!

I don't think I'll ever buy anything other than Clek. It's just the best seat I could imagine.

We adore this car seat. The peace of mind is totally worth the price. Plus, it's easier and more comfortable than any other car seat we've seen.

We could tell that this seat is built very well, and I'm sure it's the safest seat on the market. But, they seemed to skimp in some of the other details, in favor of making a cool/minimalist looking seat... the padding on the seat is almost non-existent, and the padding on the harness/main buckle felt a bit cheap. Also, no way to hold the harness back while we're putting our kid in, and if we want to use this for an infant in the future, we have to pay another $70 for the insert, and $20 for each cup holder. That's $110 more than the seat we ended up exchanging this for, the Nuna Rava, which includes all of the accessories, and seems to be a lot more comfortable for our kid.

Though a struggle to install to the point that I will never take it out (minus a star for this), the size and weight of construction seem like the safest on the market. Seat and material are very comfortable for my toddler.

I did my fair share of research when it came to picking out a convertible seat for my fast-growing daughter who was barely fitting in her infant car seat. Clek is simply the best - a tank of a car seat that manages to look modern, sleek and stylish at the same time. I hate gaudy things, so the look of the seat mattered almost as much as the safety rating. I feel like if you're looking at Clek, you already know what it's about. We've had it for almost a month so far and I'm very happy. It is almost magically spacious for my baby without taking too much room in the back. She loves being higher than before and being able to look out the window. Her head does drop forward a little when she's asleep, but I think that's the same with any car seat. It is expensive and heavy, but worth it if you want the best and don't plan to frequently move it from car to car. The manual was very helpful when we were installing it (rear-facing with seat-belts for us at this point.)

This car seat, like in its description, is the mother of all car seats. The safety factor with the crumple technology to absorb impact vs the baby is the main decision factor for me buying this seat. It also allows for rear facing for up to 50lbs to keep your child in the safest position for as long as possible. My baby loves that he sits up high in the seat and can look out. We got the mammoth wool fabric to help keep him cool especially since we live in Texas and it stays so hot for so long here. You definitely have to read the directions on how to install because it's more complex than just click it in. It is very heavy but I would expect it to be with a seat with steel structure. Another reason we chose this seat was because it is slim and only takes up one seat and not impinging on a second in the backseat making the seat beside it unusable. You able to use All your seats in the backseat. Its much more comfortable ride for my baby than his infant seat and does not scream on car rides anymore. It is worth the cost for safety factor alone and the fact that you will be able to use it for years as your baby grows.

When I was searching for where to buy a Clek Foonf from, I stumbled upon Albee Baby. The price was FAR better than any other retailer I found and I thought it was too good to be true. Not only did I do Google searches on Albee Baby as a company to make sure they were legitimate and that I would be getting a brand new, as-advertised carseat, but I also searched in my Car Seat Facebook group to see what their opinions were. Well, Albee Baby isn't too good to be true! They're a reputable company that not only offers great prices and products but also provide GREAT information about the products they sell. Now, onto the Foonf! We have a Clek Fllo and like it, although it was hard to get a good install in our minivan seat because of how the base is shaped. We even got a mat-thingy (directly from Clek) and while it helped, it still wasn't easy to get a great install. So, while I liked the Clek brand, I wasn't totally in love with the Fllo for our vehicle. So when we were ready to purchase a second carseat, I decided to try the Foonf since I noticed the base was shaped a bit differently. I AM SO GLAD I DID! It fit FANTASTICALLY in our van, is easy to get a great, secure, and correct install, and my baby loves it and is so comfortable in it! I highly recommend not only purchasing a Foonf, but definitely recommend buying it from Albee Baby!

Love this seat - it looks great, feels like a tank, and it sits my daughter up high enough that she can see everything and not get bored on long car trips. It is heavy, and not great for travel, but if you can just install it and leave it in your normal car, it's a fabulous car seat.

I love these car seats. Safe, easy to install & easily fit two with plenty of room to spare in my tiny hatchback. Plus, my very tall toddler was able to rear face until 3.5 years. I just repurchased to replace our previous seats after our car was rear ended & couldn’t be happier with them.

We love this carseat and get lots of compliments on it and have recommended it to many friends who have also purchased it. It is very heavy and takes up more space in the car than I would ideally like it to but those trade offs are worth it for the safety features and the stylish design.

This car seat wasn’t the easiest to install like other reviews stated BUT it’s excellent quality. My son calls it his racing seat. It’s very heavy and durable. Soft fabric and no fabric folds and flaps which can collect crumbs. Very happy with purchase. Fast shipping as well!

This is our second Foonf. Our first had to be replaced after an accident and of course I didn’t hesitate to buy a Foonf again because it is an amazing car seat. It is heavy, but we don’t need to switch the seat between cars, so that’s a non issue for us. Everything else is phenomenal from the anti-rebound bar, the high rear facing limits, the smooth belt tightening, the stylish look, the easy to clean fabric. We love this seat so much, we are about to buy our third Foonf.

We purchased the Clek Foonf in Flamingo. This is a beautiful car seat that is sturdy and durable. We purchased the Mammoth fabric for one car seat, and although the Flamingo fabric isn't as pure, it is still free of brominated and chlorinated flame retardants. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase, and happy that this car seat can accommodate infant to 65 pounds. I am so happy to have found this car seat! There are a handful of car seats on the market using wool as a natural fire retardant, healthier, non toxic choice for infants but I was hitting a wall trying to find one for a toddler until I ran across the foonf. I am so excited that there is a wool option for toddlers that just happens to be the best new innovative technology, narrow profile comfortable and practical car seat available. Thank you foonf! We will definitely go with the clek infant seat for our next child. I hope there is an adapter available to make it compatible with our BOB stroller...

I was able to rear face my children forever! Haha! But seriously, this seat was my absolute favorite over any other brand and my kids loved it as well.

We already have 2 for our twins in one car, and just got 2 more for the other car. As you can imagine quite expensive, but from our research appears to be the best available. The first time we had to assemble was a nightmare since the instructions were worthless, and not intuitive at all on how to do without them. But once you know the tricks the second set went quite smoothly. You definetly wouldn't want to have to move them from a car often however.

We have owned a foonf for the last couple years for my other son and have loved it! We always had him forward facing since he got it when he was almost 3, but the rear facing for our younger son is great as well! I like that he sits up higher so it’s essy to get him out. I cannot stress how safe this car seat is! My husband said it wasn’t too hard to install and the directions are easy to follow. It’s an investment, but a worthy one!!

I now have both the foonf and the Fllo and I love them both. I have tried the diono seats for extended rear facing but my older daughter prefers the extra leg room the cleak seats provide.
