We have a Jeep Patriot and this carseat works well in it. I like the colors, texture of fabric, our baby seems to be comfortable in it too. I like that we can recline the seat while it is fully installed. We have been using this one for about a week now and prior we were using the Chicco keyfit 30 and wanted to keep with Chicco but we're considering the Graco extend to fit. I'm happy with this one though.

After purchasing a different car seat and returning it because it was so extremely complicated to install, we ordered the Chicco Convertible. We had a Chicco infant car seat and initially skipped this one because of price, but since we have to move the car seat in and out of two cars frequently, it is totally worth the extra cost to be able to install in under 5 minutes.

I got this seat on sale. I was debating between the cx and the zip but couldn't justify the added cost to get the zip. Love it. It is scotch gaurded as is most my baby equipment for easy cleaning. Was surprised how much i like the colors not that it mattered but its bright colored and gender neutral. Seat is heavy with tons of padding for even the littlest one. Love my Chicco keyfit so the nextfit was definitely my #1choice. I LOVE ALBEE BABY for great sales on popular items that never go on sale anywhere else.

This is our second Chicco carseat, as the infant carseat was getting heavy to carry around. I love the brand. The ease of installing, padding, and high safety ratings are worth the extra cost. I have not had issues raising the headrest or adjusting the straps as other reviewers have stated. It's easy to install, and fits rear facing in an Acura MDX and a small Ford Focus.

I had been looking for a car seat of this make and model and Albee Baby had the best price for a new seat. They shipped quickly, the actual car seat install into my Jeep Liberty was so simple I had it checked to make sure I did it correctly. This seat is more compact that others I have used ( as a nanny, I've used a lot of different makes/models) and the front seat isnt crowded by this car seat, even in our little corolla. The best part is that my child is comfortable. Every part of this seat is easy to adjust to fit snuggly and theres no crying from the back seat 5 minutes down the road.

My toddler loves this seat! It is so comfortable, he often falls asleep in it. It is rather deep, so I can't see him without a mirror, but I think that's part of what makesbot so safe. Assembly and installation were so easy my husband actually complained he didn't really get to put anything together! I love all the reclinability, too. Great product and a great deal!

Just upgraded from the key fit 30. The kiddo (alm9st 2 yrs old, about 25 lbs) is very happy and loves it. Lots of cushion on the straps, easily secured it with the since tight straps. I have a small hatchback and it really only fits in the middle seat while rear facing, won't be a problem when he's big enough to be forward facing. My only complaint is adjusting the head rest. I'm not a tin6 person, and it did take some elbow grease.

I loved this car seat so much I bought a second to replace our Recaro in the other car (the Recaro we have is unsafe once in the forward facing position, so it needed replacing eventually). My 3 year old daughter also preferred this seat to the Recaro, so that was a plus as well! She's perfectly comfortable rear facing in this seat in both our Odyssey and CR-V (as am I when riding in the front passenger seat).

Pros

Installation is so easy. It's never taken me longer than 5 minutes to install. It's not too heavy - it is bulky and awkward to carry, but no more so than a squirming 3 year old is! I'm not a physically strong person, but had no trouble getting this seat in the car on my own.

Cons

The "ComfortFlex" feature with the "flex-out design that holds both sides of the waist belt up and out of the way during loading/unloading" doesn't do what I expected it would. I thought this would hold the straps open and eliminate the need to always have to dig out the straps from under my daughter. This only works if the straps are somewhat tight before I set my daughter in the seat, but my straps are always loose from taking her out of the seat from the previous car ride. It's just swapping one extra step (digging the belt out) for another (tightening the straps before setting her in - and loosening them again to get her arms through the harness). I prefer to get her in the seat ASAP, even with buried straps. However, I do like that extra padding on the waist belt for her comfort, so I still think the CX model was worth it (on sale :) ).

We already own a nextfit zip and love it. So, when we saw this one on sale we had to get it--it was a steal. We like the car seat but I gave it 4 stars because of how it looked when it got to us. The box had a hole in it (probably the way it was handled by the people who delivered it to us and there is a small scratch on the car seat, too. The car seat was only manufactured 4 months before I purchased it, though, so it still has several years of use for us. :)

Bought this month ago for our 1 year old and it was exactly what we were expecting. Very easy to install. Love that it can be rear facing as well as front facing. I read ALL of the reviews before and there was a lot about the strap not being easy to pull. I agree it is not as easy to pull tight as the infant carseat is, but it's also twice the width of that strap. I find that it pulls just fine for me with a little extra oomph. Also there were some who said that the extra help keeping the straps out of the way weren't worth it. I disagree with this. After trying to maneuver the straps on the infant carseat to stay out of the way this is WORLDS easier. Everything is secure and well made. I am very happy with this item

Really a beautifully crafted car seat. The CX version adds springy material to the bottom of the straps that help move them to the side of the seat, so they are not always scrunched up, and it's mostly effective, but not essential. I love the Jasper color combination - why most car seats are black is beyond me. Our 9 month old twins are perfectly happy in these after coming from the KeyFit. Downside is the latch installation could have been easier. The latch was easy to use, but it was hard to pull the straps tight enough so the seats were properly installed. Wish that was a little easier. And these seats are a little expensive, but I consider them a better value than Britax.

We own 2 of these seats, one for my son and one for my daughter. He is 18 months, 30 lbs and 36 inches tall- she is more petite. She's 3 1/2 years old, 38 inches tall and 35 lbs. This seat accommodates BOTH of them rear facing, comfortably. The seat is made with excellent materials and my babies don't sweat in them like they do the Graco seats in their grandma's car. They're really easy to install with the LATCH and even easier to clean. I have washed our covers a good 20 times each and they're still holding up exactly the same. I would definitely recommend the CX model over the standard NextFit model so it'll have the pieces that keep the crotch strap and buckles in place and out of the way. It's hard to dig under a toddler/baby for their buckles, but we don't have that problem with the CX model!

I have owned Chicco products for many years! I wish I knew about them when we had our first child almost 16 years ago! When it came time for us to have our last child 5 1/2 years ago, I did a lot of research and without a doubt I chose the Chicco Keyfit 30. A couple of years later they came out with the Nextfit and I knew then that I wanted it for our son! I only wish they would have came out with it sooner or I would have gotten that instead but I have no regrets. This car seat is everything you can think of and more!! It is by far the best in the market, easy to install, steardy and comfortable. I don't care if I only get a couple of years use out of it, our almost 6 year old will stay in it until he reaches the weight and height capacity allowed and after this I will move on to their Kidfit Booster seat. I have had many other brands and CHICCO blows them all out of the water!! I also love that our son LOVES it and he even picked out which one he wanted!

I can't say enough great things about this seat! First off... the colors... this is probably the prettiest seat I've come across personally. It's easily a gender neutral seat if you are purchasing it and don't know the gender of the baby or for use with different gender children. It's also extremely comfortable looking. My daughter has been in this seat since she was about 13 months old (she is 21 months old now) and everything about it seems so comfortable for her and the padding is super soft. I especially like the design of the strap covers that go up near her neck, as they are soft and protect her neck from the straps without being so bulky that she looks uncomfortable. This is also one of the easiest seats to install that I've come across and is basically "idiot proof" as long as you make sure to read the installation section in the manual (which you should do with any seat you use anyway). It literally takes us less than 7 minutes to install it. We are expecting baby #2 this summer and love this seat so much we are planning to buy another one for him/her to use from the day we leave the hospital. If you are on the fence about which seat to buy and are leaning towards this one... DO IT! You won't be disappointed.

We LOVE this carseat!! My son was quickly growing out of his carrier/infant seat and I was looking for safety, comfort & convenience. This one fit the bill! Installation was a cinch! Yes, it's heavy and cumbersome but to me that = safety :) We have four children & usually rushing in & out of the van. The two older kids hop in back, the preschooler jumps into his booster & I can get baby into his seat quickly. My son seems very comfortable while riding in it, too! He's began many of his naps in this seat. I can't recommend this carseat ENOUGH! I'm a coordinator of a local moms group and I am recommending all our moms to check this seat out! Another home run, Chicco!!

I have been using this car seat for two weeks now, and so far have almost no complaints. My son seems to be very comfortable in the seat. I chose this model over the standard version for the comfort flex feature which keeps me from having to dig the straps out from under my son when I put him in the seat. It has been very easy to install in my car with both the seat belt restraint and the LATCH system. The pull strap to tighten the harness has worked very well, and has not been hard to use. The only complaint I have is that the head rest doesn't adjust up and down as easily as I expected. It seems like the button on top is hard to push down, but it may be user error on my part. It is a very minor flaw, and does not interfere with daily use. Overall, I would recommend this car seat, and I would purchase it again.

Awesome car seat, even though it's pricey. I know my baby is safe. We have the CX and the regular version. I would save the money on the CX and instead get the model with the zip off cover. I think that would be a more beneficial feature. The additional pieces to make the straps easier to buckle do not make a big difference and they still get all twisted. Our 2 year old is about to switch to forward facing, but still is very comfortable in it rear facing. Overall a great seat.
