Great Training Cup, Just One Flaw
December 9, 2017
This training cup is super easy to assemble/disassemble, as well as to clean. Love that it's able to go in the dishwasher! I like that there is a certain spot to put the handles so they stay in place and that they are easy to grip for baby. Also, the lid stays on tight as long as you make sure that you seal it completely. When my two year old tried out the cup he was initially confused as he's never used a 360 cup before, but after showing him how to use it he immediately got the hang of it. When my 9 month old tried using the cup he quickly got the hang of it as well. My 9 month old has been exclusively breastfed, never taken a bottle and hasn't had much use with traditional sippy cups so I was happy to see that he could easily drink from this cup. The cup doesn't leak if you turn it on its side or upside down. However, there is one major flaw to this cup, (which was very noticeable when my 9 month old was using it) when it falls or is being banged around the liquid leaks out. This wasn't too much of a problem with my two year old as it was with my baby. My 9 month old will bang the cup on his highchair and eventually drops it on the ground which leaves a bit of a mess. Perhaps when my baby gets older it will cause less of a mess for me to deal with. For the time being, I wouldn't put anything other than water in the cup when giving it to my baby (breast milk is far too precious to be spilled!). If I were to put something other than water in it for my toddler to use then he wouldn't be allowed to just roam around the house while using it as a precaution. I'll most likely be trying out the other spouts that can go on this cup, as I love everything about the cup, except it spilling! Thanks to the WeeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this training cup!
