Sleek, easy to use
August 5, 2018
We bought this seat after purchasing a convertible for our newborn and not being able to get the recline far enough back for her head to not slump.
Everyone recommends the KeyFit 30, and when we saw this fancier version on his website for less than the base model at other retailers, we pounced on it.
The seat is sleek and clean looking. The recline is perfect.
The boot (although not being used in this New Mexican summer) is very modern looking and takes away the need to use blankets, and might prevent parents from making the safety mistake of putting baby in bulky clothes.
The zip visor is nice looking but we’re not really sure why it zips off.
The padding on the straps is cozy and we love the colour( but it seems to add a ton of bulk to the same area where the head positioner sits. Our baby doesn’t like the bulk, so we don’t use the head positioner.
We bought the Viaro stroller from Chicco as well, and the seat clicks into it super easily.
Usually “everyone’s favourite” products disappoint me, but there is definitely a reason everyone loves the KeyFit30!
Pros
- Sleek, super easy to click in and out of the base and stroller
Cons
- The strap pads and head positioner add a ton of bulk which some babies might not like
