Ik ben erg blij met de Bugaboo Ant! Door zijn compactheid, lichtgewicht en rijcomfort gebruik ik de buggy als vaste kinderwagen voor mijn zoontje van 13 maanden. De Bugaboo Ant is het perfecte formaat voor in het openbaar vervoer en past goed in de handbagagevakken in het vliegtuig. Ook in de auto is het prettig om een kinderwagen te hebben die niet de hele achterbak in beslag neemt. Verder is de buggy, zowel ingeklapt als uitgeklapt (mét kind erin), gemakkelijk de trap op en af te dragen doordat hij relatief licht is. Ik ben het meeste onder de indruk van hoe wendbaar (zelfs met één hand) de buggy is, en hoe soepel hij over verschillende oppervlakken (behalve zand) rijdt. Tot slot is de ruime boodschappenmand precies groot genoeg voor de dagelijkse boodschappen en uitstapjes. Het enige wat mij tegenvalt, is dat het in- en uitklappen van de buggy meerdere handelingen vergt. Ook het omdraaien van het zitje van de "parent-facing" naar de "world-facing" positie (en andersom) gaat niet altijd soepel doordat alles precies goed moet zitten. Bovendien is de zonnekap iets te kort bij de volledige ligstand (in de "parent-facing" positie). Desondanks ben ik erg positief over de buggy en zie ik ons er nog lange tijd met veel plezier gebruik van maken!

Arrived yesterday we're very pleased with the size and function. The only confusing part is we thought it came with a peek-a-boo window. There's demonstration videos featuring it and some images online of it. Was it certain colors only? Very strange. Rain shield fits well, organizer may rub when fully closed.

Just received my ant after much anticipation only to be sorely disappointed! Although the seat height is adjustable unfortunately there is a massive design flaw in the seat to canopy height. The canopy is basically attached to the seat so it is too short for my 2 year old to be comfortable with the shade down even at the highest adjusted seat level. The only way it would work is if we removed the canopy altogether! Now comparing to the major competitor baby zen yo-yo , I just realized that whilst the yo-yo seat back is shorter, their seat to canopy height is much higher which accommodates older and taller toddlers/children. Bugaboo should have tested this on older children before marketing it to use for up to 50lb because there is no way most 2.5 year olds and above will fit under that canopy. Please explain!

I bought this through preorder and I was so excited for all the features. Unfortunately it does not accommodate my tall toddler even though all the literature about the stroller said it would accommodate him. His arms don't fit in the sides ( his weight is average) and his head is at the very top under the suns shade and he really does not like it hitting his head. In addition I have issues with the way the handle goes down and up - it does not click into place for me. I also had trouble when trying to change the direction of the seat. I am so disappointed.

The Bugaboo Ant is a great city stroller as it is compact and great quality. You can easily fold it together and make it rather small and unfold it again quickly and place your toddler in it. Once folded, it is not super easy to carry (especially when you also have to carry your little one), but I hear that Bugaboo is working on adding a shoulder/carry strap, which will be a great addition! We really liked the harness, which keeps our little one securely in place and is quick to put together.

Sinds enkele weken maken wij gebruik van de Bugaboo Ant. In het kort: we kunnen niet meer zonder een ultra compacte kinderwagen! We hebben een zoon van ong 20 maanden, maken vaak gebruik van het OV en nemen regelmatig de auto (denk aan lange afstanden afleggen en veel bagage meenemen). Waarom wij enthousiast zijn over de Ant: -Compact formaat: smalle (gang)paden kun je voortaan gerust trotseren. Bovendien bespaart het enorm veel ruimte en dat merken we duidelijk als de auto ook nog vol is met koffers of boodschappen -Fijn te sturen en te rijden -Grote mand en kan meer in kwijt dan je zou verwachten -Veel uitbreidingsmogelijkheden (denk o.a. aan het kunnen plaatsen van je autostoel, meerijdplankje en reiswieg) -Stoel kan 2 kanten op: kind kan zowel richting jou als naar voren kijken Waar we in het begin wel even aan moesten wennen was het in- en uitvouwen. Na een paar keer oefenen hadden we dit echter redelijk snel onder de knie. Daarnaast is de trolley-mode een leuk extraatje. Hoewel dit niet dagelijks wordt gebruikt, is het in ons geval handig gezien we in een appartement wonen en het wel eens gebeurt dat we de kinderwagen uit de auto willen halen/naar de auto willen brengen terwijl onze zoon op dat moment bijvoorbeeld thuis is. In dit geval hoef je het dan niet volledig uit te klappen en kan je het zonder te sjouwen makkelijk meenemen. Al met al veel pluspunten en zeker de moeite waard om de Ant te overwegen!

Enorm fijne kinderwagen voor als je in de stad woont en veel reist. Wij wonen met onze dochter van 3 maanden in een oud pandje in Amsterdam met steile trappen en weinig opbergruimte. De Bugaboo Ant biedt de ideale oplossing voor als je niet veel ruimte hebt een kinderwagen te stallen en niet op de begane grond woont. Na 1-2 keer heb je het vouwen en inklappen onder de knie en dan sta je in een mum van tijd met je kindje en kinderwagen beneden. Door zijn compacte formaat neemt de Ant ook opgevouwen in de auto weinig ruimte in en manoeuvreert hij heel makkelijk tijdens het lopen. Ik was aangenaam verrast hoe stevig de kinderwagen rijdt en vooral hoe handelbaar hij is. Ik kan hem met één hand draaien en sturen, zonder dat ik het idee heb de controle te verliezen.

Received my Ant in the mail and had it assembled and ready to go in minutes. All I had to do was pop the wheels on and it was ready! I usually dread assembly and have to ready tons of directions but this was so easy. The design of the stroller is amazing. It looks sleek and compact and I love that it rolls when folded (most competitors you have to carry with a strap) so it's easy to maneuver in the airport. I find that it's very easy to fold/unfold once you get the hang of it so you can easily pack it up or unpack when traveling. I love that you can have the seat facing forwards and rear and that when it's facing me, my baby can sleep in the recline position. What's also great is that the back adjusts different heights as the baby grown so it can be used for a long time. I got the Gray Melange and it has a peek-a-boo window which is certainly a plus! Out of all the travel strollers, this one was the most compact and best looking. It's also super sturdy and has great shocks like the other Bugaboo strollers for a super smooth ride. This is definitely a quality product that was designed very carefully with moms-on-the-go in mind! Can't recommend this enough!

I bought the Ant couple of wks ago. I was looking for something lighter and smaller than my Bee 5 for my 3 yr old girl. When I saw the Ant, I sold my Bee 5 and ordered it right away. i couldn't wait to use it. At first i was impressed with all the features it has, all the features of the Bee 5, but lighter and smaller. It was easy to fold and unfold once u learn the steps. There are few issues i have though. I had issue with unfolding the seats few times. It got stuck and wouldn't unfold even though nothing was in the way and it was correctly in the slots. Yesterday it got stuck and i was trying to unfold for 20 min I was getting annoyed almost called Bugaboo for help. But it somehow unfolded i dont even know how. And I was late to lunch meeting too. The backseat extension is too short. My 3 yr old girl who is just average height, her head touched the canopy with backseat extended all the way up so i can't even use it. It's been 90°+ mighty hot here in NYC so i carry umbrella to shield her head. It's annoying and hard trying to push the stroller with 1 hand. It doesn't roll as smooth as Bee5 because of smaller front wheels. I wish there was another integrated attachment point for another cupholder. Other than that it's a great stroller, but I kinda wish I kept my Bee 5..

So I received it 3 days ago and yes I also had a hard time yesterday on the parking lot to fold it and unfold it. But this morning I manipulated it, finally it is not that hard and I got it. I already struggled in the past with other strollers so.. it is very easy to ride , super lightweight so yes you do not have this feeling that it is super sturdy but it is a light weigh stroller! if you are looking for something easy to carry for shopping etc it is great. I was tired of my uppababy weight with no room left on my trunk. So I kept my other big jog stroller and I have the ant now in my truck. Not sure about the size tough but I had a look at other light weight stroller and the seat was already not tall enough for her and with the Ant there is stil plenty room to grow for my 13M old.

Pelagatos es un flipe pero en movimiento es una maravilla lo bien que se maneja, incluído con el patinete de peque. Es perfecto para la ciudad. La única pega es que no se tumba del todo en posición hacia delante, pero tb sentaditas se hecha unas siestas estupendas. Y además bonito!

Hemos estrenado nuestro bugaboo ant estas vacaciones, es increíble lo fácil que es manejarlo con una mano. Es elegante y en la estación nos han parado varías veces para preguntarnos qué carrito era Mi hijo de 2 año va encantado y el mayor aún no pesa 22 kilos a veces le quita la silla

Cuando leo que un producto infantil es para viajes siempre me saltan las alarmas. Nunca son lo suficientemente ligeros, ni compactos. Pero este no es el caso! Es impresionante lo cómodo que es el nuevo Ant y sin perder prestaciones como la maravillosa suspensión característica de Bugaboo, la gran bolsa de almacenaje o la comodidad de poder reclinar el bebé para dormir. Estoy encantada, el Ant es capaz de seguir el ritmo de mi familia!

De perfecte wagen voor op reis! Ingeklapt is hij zo klein als een handbagage koffertje, waardoor je hem mee kan nemen als handbagage in het vliegtuig. De wagen is super licht, maar toch stevig en comfortabel. Het aller handigst vind ik dat het stoeltje niet alleen naar voor en achter gericht kan worden, maar dat het stoeltje ook helemaal plat kan. Zo kan mijn kindje lekker slapen en past de cocoon van Bugaboo op de wagen waardoor hij ook geschikt is voor pasgeboren baby's.

Quando ho visto che Bugaboo ha sviluppato un passeggino da viaggio ho deciso di fare l'investimento e di acquistarlo. La promessa era quella di un passeggino estremamente compatto, leggero e agile negli spazi ed è davvero così. L'ho usato molte volte in aereo e devo dire che occupa davvero spazio in cappelliera. In autobus, metro o tram si riesce a viaggiare senza ingombrare gli spazi comuni. In macchina, lo spazio occupato nel bagagliaio è estremamente limitato e questo permette di caricare tutto il necessario per una vacanza con una bimba di 1 anno. Quando lei è sul passeggino, grazie alla possibilità di posizionare lo schienale verso di noi o verso il mondo lei è sempre tranquilla e rilassata, quante volte sì è addormentata mentre la portavamo a spasso. Per quanto riguarda la stabilità e robustezza, questo passeggino è molto più solido di altri presenti sul mercato. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo!

Ik gebruik de wagen nu een maand en het bevalt erg goed. Je moet even handig worden met het in en uitklappen, maar als je het eenmaal door hebt gaat het super snel en is het erg compact. Al met al zeer tevreden.
