We were given this as a gift. We have had it almost 2 yrs and the seat adjuster strap is fraying so bad its almost half gone. Looked to replace it but can't find it anywhere.

This is the third Britax product I have purchased. I like the fact the product rank high for safety. My granddaughter fits comfortable in the seat and does not become fussy on long rides.

We have a Britax Marathon for our main car and we like it, but we decided to go a little less expensive for our second car. The Roundabout seems to take up less space (fwd facing), which is great for our smaller car. The only feature I've noticed that is different from the Marathon is the way you change the shoulder belt height. On the Marathon, you can just pull a handle, while on the Roundabout you have to unhook the belt, pull it through the seat-back and then rethread it. It's not hard to do, but you have to remove the seat from the car. It doesn't need to be adjusted very often, so it was not a big deal in order to pay quite a bit less than the Marathon. Both seem very safe and are easy to install and our little one is comfortable in both.

Prior to purchasing product, I did a lot of research and cost comparisons. This is my second Britax purchase for our 2nd grandchild and we are extremely pleased with the products and feel our grandchildren are safe while traveling with us

Our Son and Daughter-in-law both have one in each of their vehicles so we figured it was a no brainer to get the same one since they both like it. Easy to install with the latch system and very secure and stable so our granddaughter should be very safe. Wish the back and head areas were a little more plush but they are good enough.

Still a bit new to give a complete review, but so far it fits our needs very well and there haven't been any issues with it.

This is a simple carseat...easy to install, & secure. Even after several years of use, the padding and the cover are in exceptional condition. The cover also washes up beautifully. The straps have never twisted up, and this has been a comfortable ride for my little one. We have taken MANY 14 hour car rides with this seat, and he's always slept well in it. Thankfully, I cannot attest to it's safety in a car accident as we've never been in one. However, this seat is solid and the plastic substantial. The straps and tethers are solid and tight. Having had 4 children, I've used plenty of car seats, and this one BY FAR is the one I have felt has been the safest seat. I highly recommend this seat. I've used this particular model from the time my little one was 3 months old, and he is 3.5 years old now.

I bought this car seat a month ago. So far I love it and so does my son. I love that the straps can be attached at the sides to ensure my son doesn't sit on them when I place him in the seat.

Brought this product for all the safety features and weights. We have a bigger baby and didnt want to forward face yet so we are able to rear face still up to 18kgs with this product! She is 6 months and 10kgs

This seat will be wonderful once my grandson is heavy enough to turn the seat around to forward facing, but getting him into it as a rear-facing seat is somewhat awkward. Also, the fabric at the back is very scratchy, with the tags and the strap slots, so I had to buy an insert to make it more comfortable. Could use a drink holder attachment.

Bought it last week....really have not used it yet, but Britax products have a great reputation.

This is the fourth Britax car seat that we have purchased in five years. We believe in the safety and quality of their products. Thankfully we have been fortunate with no accidents to prove our belief.

This carseat is very easy to install rear-facing. The straps are easy to connect to LATCH and tighten while leaning on the seat to reduce any play once installed. I felt very confident the seat was installed correctly because of the easy to follow instructions. I wish the feature to adjust the straps without removing them was on this base level seat as well as the cup holder- but the price was right! Safety was our priority and we know we got that! Thank you Britax for quality products!

Became loyal to britax after using the b-safe and b-agile for our first child. Love that we can get a britax carseat within a more modest budget. Wish it were slightly more padded, but glad it fits in a smaller car.

We bought this car seat for our nine month old son. It is very easy to install and it fits nicely in the rear seat of our subaru forester. We ourchased the silver color and love it!!! just wish it had a pillow insert for him to rest his head to sleep.

We bought 2 of these for our twins about a month ago and they love it. easy to install and they really enjoy them. Would recommed to anyone that has infants.

Just bought this product to be able to transport my grand-daughter around safely and comfortably. Since this is what my children have for her and know the product they feel assured of her safety when with me.

We love the Britax Roundabout and so does our son. We temporarily used another car seat after an accident and we were not happy with it. We just purchased our second one and we can't wait to install and start using it.

Bought for my 10 month old as she had outgrown her Graco infant carseat and I cannot tell you how much happier I am with the Britax. It is comfortable, easy to use, and you can feel the quality in the construction and the material.

I bought this after researching online to find a high quality seat that works in smaller cars. I own a Mazda6 and the first car seat I purchased would not fit rear-facing. This one fits just fine and I like the steel bars. It makes me feel like my little one is much safer.

I researched and researched a great car seat for my 14m old daughter as she had outgrown her safe and sound capsule. I didn't specifically have brand loyalty, but the britax roundabout kept coming out as the highest rated and best priced car seat, with high safety rating. I live in NZ and the national recommendations are to keep a child rare facing until 2y. Unfortunately in NZ very few car seats are able to stay rare facing for that long. Britax roundabout does and as I was traveling to America I was able to pick one up for a third of the price as any NZ bought car seat. Installation was the only down side and the only reason for why I gave a 4 rather then 5 star rating. As I don't have isolatch in my car, I use the seat belt for installation and found that I couldn't latch in the seat belt by myself and had to get my husband to do it. Though as we only have one car we don't have to take it in and out all that often so it shouldn't really be a problem. I imagine with isolatch it would be very easy to instal. The other down side is that when you have to alter the straps (ie when your child gets bigger) the yoke is very low down and quite difficult to get to. On a positive note, my daughter is extremely comfortable, and has fallen asleep every time we get in the car now. She seems relaxed and hasn't cried once in the car since moving into the larger seat. I am very pleased to have the side impact protection and the addition straps for extra anchorage. The seat is well padded and the material is non offensive. We also have a very very small car (Diahatsu Charade) and it fits very well and still allows us to put the other 2/3 of the back seat down if needed (which we do need to do frequently to squeeze in the stroller). On a practical note; I did consider buying a car seat initially which was from birth and converted into a booster, but decided against it. We are hoping to have 2 children about 3 years apart. This means then that when our second child is born they can use the capsule for the first year, after that year my daughter will be about 4 and more then likely have outgrown the roundabout car seat and require a booster only. Further down the track as my daughter is out of the booster it will still be ok for the second child. The great thing about the Britax range is their reasonable life length allowing for this "staging" of car seats. Overall my husband and I are very happy with our purchase. The only thing I don't understand is why cant you buy the britax roundabout model in NZ?

Looks easy to clean. Easy to install. Easy to size child with adjustable straps.

I originally purchased the B-Safe Infant Carrier for my son and absolutely loved it. It was easy to use, light weight, and yet kept my son comfortable. When it came time to move him up to a convertible car seat (he is big for his age so this happened sooner than I was ready for) I knew I wanted to stay with the Britax brand. I just started using the Roundabout car seat but already I like that the shoulder straps Velcro to the side so my son doesn't sit on them when I am putting him in. Also, the size of the carseat is nice, I drive a small economy car (that the carrier caused the passenger seat to be pushed forward quite a way) and the Roundabout (installed reverse facing) allowed us to move the seat back a little bit. I haven't had to take it apart yet to wash it but overall I approve of the Britax brand and plan on continuing to use their products.

I bought the Britax b-agile and b-safe stroller system for my son when he was born, and now he's transitioned to the forward facing car seat. I recently bought the Roundabout convertible car seat and I am so happy I did. Britax products especially the Roundabout are really good quality, and its very easy to maneuver when trying to fasten your child in the car. I also like the look of the car seat and it seems padded well and comfortable for my son. Initially I was thinking about going with another brand of car seats, but I'm so glad I went with Britax again. I look forward to purchasing a Britax booster system in the future when my son is old enough.

I have always been a Britax fan from my first child. Once again I am pleased wiht the quality and easy of usage with the Roundabout. It was very easy to install, comfortable and roomy for my child, and clearly has lots of room for him to grow into it.

I have had this car seat since my first son was 4 months old! It has gone threw 2 kids and was finally updated to the newer model a few month ago. My 8 month old loves it! He is super comfortable. He falls asleep everytime. The newer model has a sleeker design with a compacted body!( not as bulky as the older model ) I would recommend these seats to anyone! My child's safety is never a issue in these products!!

I bought this for my first grandchild to use in my car because I take her to daycare, and her daycare just happens to be where I work! I like the security features of the Britax and how easy it is to adjust harnesses and get in and out of my car. I know it is larger than most car seats, but it is worth it because she will use it for years to come. No need to purchase booster seat because she will be able to ride in it until she is able to sit in the regular car seat all by herself.

Great car seat. I have use it with two of my kids. Easy to install. Fits in large and small cars. Easy to remove cover to wash.

We picked the Roundabout because it fits our budget and it fits well in our compact car and SUV. The cushioning is great and we know that the safety features are pretty great. We've used the Roundabout with both our kids and they always enjoy a good ride in it.

I bought this in 2010 and used it rear facing until my child outgrew it by height- at 4 years of age- This was an awesome carseat. I used it when flying and in multiple cars. Easy to use and well made

I have 5 kids and received my first britax roundabout in 1999 for my 18 month old son. I originally had him in one of the seats with the swing down bar. From the beginning I knew the roundabout was different. Easily adjustable harness, comfort pads, protective pads and the fact that the straps never got twisted. I have had 3 roundabouts, 2 marathons, a husky, 3 parkways and now a pioneer. Thank you Britax

Have owned for almost 3 months. Easy to install-had checked by carseat tech to be sure it was done correctly. The 5 point harness with the infant insert is tricky to get to stay on my small 16 month olds' shoulders, so I have to be very conscious it is properly positioned. Good quality materials, feels sturdy, and am pleased with the purchase. We own the Roundabout 55 for my older child and it has been in use for 2.5 years and am very pleased with it too. The only reason I rate this product as good versus excellent is my experience with the infant insert.

After a long search for a quality car seat for my son that wasn't real expensive or too big for our small car, we decided to go with the Roundabout and love it! My son seems more comfortable in it and it fits nicely in our Malibu. It's easy to take apart to clean and fits nicely when put back together.

Bought for our third and last child. Worked well until I looked in mirror and saw the chest clip down by her hips. There is nothing that prevents the child from sliding the chest clip all the way down, which renders the seat completely useless. Going to have to replace the seat, major design flaw. Love everything else about seat.
