I love the look and feel of the fabrics on this seat. My daughter loves bright colors so she was really happy to see the purple seat. She runs a bit warm, but seemed to stay at a very comfortable temperature in this seat. I have heard that flame-retardent chemicals are believed to be harmful, so it was nice that the seat was made without them. I love that the padding is machine washable, which is a must for our family. The seat is shallower than others she has used, so she was initially upset at her legs being a bit cramped and having to find new ways to position them. Installation was really easy with the seat belt and with the included latch strap. The clip of the latch strap is the traditional clip style which does make it more difficult to switch from car to car if you need to swap it out frequently, but the seatbelt installation is very easy and keeps the belt out of the way once it is completed. The padding on the crotch buckle is nice, especially for those warm days when my girl wears shorts or a dress. My daughter seemed pretty comfortable in this seat for the most part, however she developed a small bruise on her tailbone after a day of shopping and errands. I don't know if this was due to the seat itself, the padding, or the position of her clothes, but this has never happened to her in any other seat. I have rheumatoid arthritis and found the body straps very easy to tighten and loosen and the buckles very easy to release, making these my favorite parts of the carseat. I do think my husband may have some difficulty in loosening the straps as his fingers are large and the button is in a sort of tube near the base of the seat, but I find this to be a nice feature, as my daughter is very good at getting out of containment once she sets her mind to it, so I know this would make it more difficult for her. My daughter is in the 98th percentile for height and weight and we intend to rear face until she reaches the height or weight limits of the seat, but I don't know that this plan will work for this particular seat. I'm going to just start by saying EASY INSTALL!!! This click tight technology is truly the most user friendly tech I've ever seen. It takes just minutes to open, adjust and install this seat!! I am using it with my 2 year old, 27lb and 35" tall toddler, in a rear facing click tight seatbelt installation. He's a smaller dude, and this seat is so beyond perfect for him. It's comfy for him, he even said "me like me seat!" The fabric is so smooth, easy to wipe, the color is neutral and I love the white outer hard shell. It's very modern looking, and simple in design. The no re thread harness is a definite win! I also loveeee how the straps tighten! it is actually the easiest tightening and loosening I've ever had to deal with (I have 4 kids!) its super smooth. My only complaint is the lack of a cup holder but truly that's not even a big deal. It's not too heavy either, and seems to have a somewhat narrower footprint in the car. It's also easily adjusted for the proper recline. I am so beyond stoked that I got to review this from Stellar Product Testing Panel! this car seat is going to get years of use out of it. Eventually he will flip forward when he maxes out of the height and weight limits.

I'm extremely pleased with this car seat. The fabric is beautiful and I love that it has no added flame retardant chemicals. The seat is very durable and very easy to install. The click tight feature makes it easy to install and adjust for the correct tightness and protection. My son loves the blue fabric and can't wait to get into this seat daily. It fits great in my truck and I really like the level on the side that ensures you it is installed correctly. Overall this is a great seat and I highly recommend it for many reasons. Car safety is by far one of our top priorities when it comes to our two young kids and our family is very picky when it comes to car seats. I was given this convertible car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I have to say, I am impressed. The seat is well built and works as it should. The straps glide in and out easily, the head rest moves up and down smoothly and according to my 2.5 year old, it's fairly comfortable. The fabric is soft to the touch and seems like it will hold up over the years without fraying or rips. I love that the fabric is not treated with flame-retardant chemicals. The ClickTight technology is my favorite feature of this seat. It works just like it should and is pretty easy to do. I am little and while I work out and am strong, my husband usually has to help me install the car seats so they are snug and do not wiggle. But thanks to the ClickTight technology, I was able to install it without extra muscle help! The only big con I have for this seat is that it is heavy! Our family will not use this seat for traveling. But as long as it stays in our car, we are happy with it and recommend for those looking for a convertible car seat.

I received this convertible car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and to be honest I intend to purchase one for my toddler to use as well. This seat is amazing. The fabric is so soft against my little one and it's a breeze to adjust the straps. As If that isn't perfect enough, it installs in less than 2 minutes with the Clicktight system. As a mom of 9, I have installed more car seats than I can even count and this was by far the fastest and most simple install ever. It fit great in my minivan in all seats (with another convertible seat and infant seat on each side) and in our 12 passenger van.

I was super excited to receive this car seat as we needed a new convertible seat for our second car. First, I will say that the Click Tight installation is amazing - so easy to do and it feels much more secure than two other well known car seats we currently use. While the seat was heavy, it was very easy to switch in between cars as the Click Tight made it simple to secure. My 3 year old was comfortable in the seat, he seemed to sit lower but was comfortable. The one huge negative for me was that there were no attached cup holders to the seat. My son always has a water with him as well as small toys/cars that he likes to put in a cup holder, and not having cup holders was a disappointment. Overall, the Britax Marathon Clicktight Convertible Car Seat is a solid option when choosing a car seat. This is an all inclusive car seat that grows with your child. The car seat is heavy yet sturdy and safe which is the most essential feature when it comes to a car seat. The seats are padded and the cover is removable which allows for easy and frequent cleaning. The car seat is attractive and comes in various color combinations. The fabric feels nice and is of good quality. I appreciate how the car seat is free of added flame retardant materials and instead meets the standards through material and design choice. This is a feature that would be a must have when choosing any car seat. The side indicator is a nice feature which confirms when the seat is at the correct incline and the tilt option allows for head comfort while in the seated position. The height and weight limits allow for additional time in the rear facing position which is another attractive feature of this car seat. The car seat is fairly easy to install and once installed remains in place which gives additional comfort. That said, this is great if you plan to leave the car seat in place and not move it from car to car as that could be quite cumbersome given its weight and bulk. Unfortunately there is no cup holder which is a bit of a drawback especially on longer car rides. While there is padding, it appears a little thinner as compared to other car seats on the market. The padding does move around a bit so it often needs readjusting which can be a bit frustrating. The straps were somewhat difficult to adjust and appeared to be short making it difficult to maneuver and use. It was cumbersome to adjust the tilt of the seat. Most important, it does appear to be safe, which is essential when choosing a car seat. I've been using the Britax Marathon Clicktight Convertible car seat that I received through the Stellar Product Testing Panel for a week now, and it is really a great seat. First of all, it is one of the easiest car seats that I have ever installed. And now that we've been using it, the car seat is still secure and snug in the car. The seat looks like a luxury product and the fabrics are very soft. I love that it does not have flame-retardant chemicals. My daughter is 18 months and she fits very securely in the seat because of the way the harness/straps work. Overall, it is gorgeous, easy to use and safe for my little one! The only thing that would make it better for me is if it rotated.

We were thrilled to receive the Britax Marathon ClickTight Convertible Car Seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel! We were due to move our son from his infant bucket seat, which was also Britax, so we were happy for him to go into a seat that we already trusted in for safety. The seat was easy to install, the directions were clear and we were able to get a tight, secure fit in the seat. Our son fits nicely in the carseat and has plenty of room. The straps clip him in and tighten easily, leaving him good and secure. I appreciated all the different angles we could try out with the seat rear facing, we were able to customize it more to fit his needs and likes. Overall I would certainly recommend this car seat! I am excited to see how it grows with our son overtime.

I bought the Marathon Click-Tight almost 3 years ago for my granddaughter and use it at least weekly, sometimes several times per week. I've used a few Britax seats over the past 15 years. My biggest concern with any car seat is ease of CORRECT installation. The Clicktight feature was appealing for our family because the seat very regularly has to be removed and reinstalled in more than one vehicle and by a variety of people. I LOVE the click-tight!! It makes me sad when I read the 1 or 2 star reviews for dislike of that one feature. Remember these 2 things!! First, when installing, you should not make the belt super tight because when you push the seat back down it needs a little slack to close easily. (No struggle or kneeling in the seat needed!) Once clicked it is rock solid! Second, people complain about needing to use a pliers to release it. Please don't! When you want to release it, simply unbuckle the seat belt first to release the tension and then the click-tight is easy to turn. If I were using this every day I might wish for cupholders or maybe a little more padding on the seat/back but we don't really miss those things. It's far more important to 100% know every install is flawless, whether by a teenage uncle, by Grandpa, or anyone in between!

We've had our seat since the kid was 2 so this is a long-term use review:-) The click tight feature is worthy every penny and this seat, like all the other Britax seats we've owned, is unreal in terms of how easy it is to install and use. I have never bothered with any other brand bc of this after seeing others struggle with other brands. Overall quality is really good. My complaints come in with aspects of the quality: •The fabric keeps sliding off near the top wings of the seat and I'm constantly having to pull it back into place so the inner workings aren't exposed. •The harness over time has become stiffer to adjust and now requires a huge final tug to loosen fully. We keep it clean and still... •Our nearly 6yo is 43lbs and 44" and we don't have a ton of harness room left in this one around the upper thigh, which makes unbuckling hard for me and uncomfortable for the child. We are currently looking at a new harnessed booster because I'm not sure how long this will be comfy. •The padding that our child sits on is not that impressive and I'm grateful there have been no complaints on comfort - probably only due to child's lightweight size. A heavier child would probably not find it comfy on long rides. •About a year or so into owning, the recline adjust handle, which was never really that great functionally, completely broke off and I'm not a rough person. Disappointing, but the things I love about this seat far outweigh the cons and we don't have to adjust it often so manually reaching in to recline isn't terrible. Still, at this price point, none of these things should be an issue. Also still, I accept this seat for any of its imperfections - It has really held up well over time if I had to give it an overall rating, despite my gripes I do love it and am happy with the purchase. Our next seat will be a Britax.

I purchased this carseat from recommendations of other parents and in case of impact, the child is protected. It is so easy to install and and it does not move once installed in the car. Love this feature! The car seat will be used for years to come as my oldest child is 2 1/2 and the youngest are 2 years. I have the polka dots on the material - suitable for both genders.

We have had Britax carseats for years. On 12/30 a car ran a stop sign, we T boned her, and her car turned and hit my passenger door pushing us across 2 more lanes of traffic. All the airbags in my Tahoe deployed. My 3 year old was in this carseat in the 2nd row & my 7 year old was in the Grow With You Click Tight Harness Booster in the 3rd row. My son had a small mark on his neck from the strap, but other than that both kids were perfectly safe & healthy!!! We are beyond blessed that there were no injuries & that everyone walked away safely! I am currently buying the sames seats as replacements!

I bought this and I could not install it where it was snug, I read the instructions many time and I finally had to watch YouTube videos to install it safely.
